It's been over a week since the Supreme Court sprung a leak and states are beginning to lay their cards on the table. If Roe v. Wade is overturned, it's expected roughly half of the states will ban or significantly limit abortions and half will allow it. Beyond that, some states are considering making traveling out of state to get an abortion illegal, while others, like Connecticut, are taking the opposite approach and issuing protections for out-of-staters who visit to receive an abortion. That's the smell of brewing legal battles. Even still, there is agreement on one thing. Violent protests are not the answer.

President Biden condemned the Molotov cocktail attack on a pro-life advocacy group in Wisconsin, and the Senate unanimously passed a bill to extend security to Supreme Court justices' families. We are called to love everyone always. This means loving and caring for the unborn, single mothers, those who have received abortions, and people who passionately disagree with you on this topic. Matthew 5, 44 and 45 says, But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven. For he causes his Son to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. It appears someone dropped a banana peel on Wall Street. In total, markets are down about 16.5% so far this year, and big tech companies have lost $1 trillion in market value since just the middle of last week. Oof. That's the highest price ever garnered by an American work of art. Authorities have few answers for the whys in the case, and Vicki's family and co-workers have expressed shock at her involvement with Casey. Discussing theories of what really happened can be engaging, but Paul encourages us to avoid endless discussions that lead to meaningless speculations.
