Sing, O barren, you who have not borne, Break forth into singing and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child. For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman, Says the Lord. Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings. Do not spare, lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes, For you shall expand to the right and to the left,

And your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited. Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed, neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame, for you will forget the shame of your youth, and will not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more. For the Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name, and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. He is called the God of the whole earth, for the Lord has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a youthful wife when you were refused, says your God. For a mere moment I have forsaken you, but with great mercies I will gather you.

With a little wrath I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer. For this is like the waters of Noah to me, for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you, for the mountains shall depart

and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall my covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord who has mercy on you. Oh you afflicted one, tossed with tempest and not comforted, behold I will lay your stones with colorful gems and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of rubies, your gates of crystal, and all your walls of precious stones. All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.

In righteousness you shall be established. You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed, they shall surely assemble, but not because of me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. Behold, I have created the blacksmith who blows coals in the fire, who brings forth an instrument for his work, and I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and

every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord. Jesus thank you. Thank you Lord for your word. Thank you God for your faithful you. Thank you, Lord, for your word. Thank you, God, for your faithfulness. Thank you that you are for us and not against us. Thank you, Lord, for your promises. Thank you, God, that no weapon formed against us will prosper. Thank you, Lord, that it is our inheritance, our heritage, that we can condemn the tongues that rise against us in judgment. Why? Not because of our own

righteousness, Lord, but because of your righteousness. Lord, your word says that our righteousness is from you. Jesus, you are our righteousness, our savior, our Messiah, our healer, our teacher, our friend, our high priest. Jesus, you are good and your mercy endures forever. Your mercy is new every morning. Your grace and your love they carry us. So Lord we pray that you would fulfill your promises as you will do. You are faithful and just and righteous and true true You are not like a man that you should lie your promises will not

Go in and out and wax and wane. They are true and forever true and true Always in every single way God let your will be done in our lives in our Nation in this world God. I pray that you would bring about a moment, a time period, a season, an epoch of revival, of restoration, of people turning to you and a moment of clarity. Lord, let your Holy Spirit be poured out. Lord, forgive the sins of your people.

Forgive our sins individually. Forgive the sins of this nation. Lord, depose the power of the enemy and the spiritual authority that has held so many captive. Lord, you came to set the captives free. Fulfill that in our time, in our hearts, in our families, in our land. God, you are good. You alone are good.

And that will never cease to be the case. God, you have declared that we will expand. You have declared that we are more than conquerors. You have declared that all of our children will be taught by the Lord. God, let it be so. Lead us, Holy Spirit. Fill us, Holy Spirit.

Strengthen us in our devotions, in our attention to you. Give us a hunger for your word, a thirst for your spirit that would not be satisfied or quenched until we have pressed in and received from you the nourishment that we need to deal with everything that happens to us on a day-to-day basis. Lord, we need you always. We need you permanently. We need you in every moment and lord we surrender to you knowing that you have good plans for us plans to prosper us plans to heal us plans to save us plans to lift us up lord. So we lift

up your holy name Jesus and we declare that as you are lifted up, you will draw all men unto you. God, let it be so in this time. Let us see the fruits of your holy spirit in this generation. You have been sowing and sowing and sowing and there is a time for a harvest. So, raise up labors to send forth into your harvest and bring in a rich blessing, an incredible, miraculous, over the top abundance for your kingdom, God, not for our sakes, but for yours, for your

glory alone, Jesus. We love you. We praise you. We bless you. We ask in your name, Jesus, that you would redeem would redeem this time Holy spirit speak to us from your word help us to follow you in every single way strengthen our devotional lives strengthen our families help us to Lead and to follow help us to bless and to build up Help us to have right judgment and wisdom and knowledge and discernment and help us to turn to you in everything

We love you Lord. We praise you. We bless you and we declare your victory in this generation in Jesus name Amen It's been a while and now it's February in the year of our Lord 2025 and as this year started about a month ago I fasted and prayed for three days as is my custom that I've done for the better part of a decade now as I went about this practice it struck me just how faithful God is to honor this measly gesture on on my part. Like what am I what am I

actually doing that I would I would be able to ask and petition the god of the universe, the one who created all things including including myself to step into my life and to speak to me to be led by the Holy Spirit and my faith and confidence in that rests not on anything that I have or that I'm doing. It's not a formula. It's not an exposition but God has made promises to us in his word that the Holy Spirit will lead us and comfort us and that we should seek wisdom and the kingdom of God. And many, many years ago, I was led into this practice by the Holy Spirit and he has been

faithful to keep it. And what's interesting, when I fast and when I pray for a word of guidance for the year, some of the time it takes until the third day, sometimes it's on the second day, but on this particular occasion, the word that I received was essentially immediate. I started my fast, my wife and I were praying in my

office and the same way that this happens every year where there's something that comes into my mind that I just can't shake and I know that it's from the Lord. I've seen enough times to be confident that this is how the lord is moving. It's not as if I get a a post-it note or anything else like that and it's not an audible voice. It is just a supreme sense of conviction that something in particular sticks and again, it's just a matter of experience. So, if this isn't if this isn't something that you've done before, again, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. He may have a different approach or

something different that he wants to speak to you or he may be calling you to something different. And there's no worry about the timing of this. It's not as if I've discovered some hidden formula for hearing from god That's just a spiritual practice that I was led into in terms of obedience many years ago Under the auspices and the prompting of a word from pastor carter conlon at times square church and i've continued this this discipline ever since and it's been Incredibly valuable and fruitful as a as a checkpoint, but it may not be the same for you and there's nothing there's nothing that says that if you

want to begin a practice like this or you want to seek the Lord that you need to wait until next January into 2026 you can do it you can do it right now there's no there's no problem with that there's no worries don't let anything hold you back from seeking the Lord because the Lord has something for you and Wouldn't it make sense to receive things from God? The God who loves us the God who created us the God who desires us The God who sent his son to pay the price for our sins so that our guilt could be washed away And our sins could be washed away and our sins could be put as far away as the east is from the west. This God has something for you.

Would we not take a moment to receive it? Would we not take a moment to press in? Would we not be willing to put aside the distractions and the troubles and the travails to receive an ease of burden To go into the one who knows us better than we know ourselves To go into our healer our provider our savior our friend our father to go into Jesus our high priest Why would we not? certainly not Rationally justified and not doing that.

Seems silly when you think about it. And yet, many times we don't. Many times I don't. Many times we get caught up in different things. But I pray that the Holy Spirit would motivate you to push in to receive a breakthrough. Because this is a season of breakthrough. This is a season where God is on the move in many different ways. I have seen personally someone who I know healed from cancer, a terminal diagnosis turned back, a mastectomy turned back. I have seen deliverance and mercy, I have seen salvations, I have seen all of these things happening around me, and I can see the

fruit of the spirit being poured out. Now, regardless of going into the diagnostics of why is this the case right now, or how this happening or anything else. The only thing I can do is plead with you to take advantage. Plead with you that there is something that is available in this season in a new and special way and that in these windows of time it is important for us to lay hold of them, to lay hold of a particular promise. Think about the rich young ruler who encountered Jesus and asked him what what should I do what must I do to be saved and Jesus prompted him with the commandments and with faith in God and he said, I've done all these things. And

then Jesus told him, well, sell all your goods and walk uprightly. Go forth. And the rich young ruler was dismayed by this because he had many possessions. And Jesus makes a comment about how difficult it is for people who are attached to their possessions to enter into the Kingdom of God, and the disciples are surprised, and he says, well, and all things are possible with God. But when the rich young ruler walked away from that invitation, from that opening, from that promise of blessing. He received a specific word of instruction directly from the mouth of Jesus. What would have happened if he had done what Jesus had said? What would have happened if he did go and, under the inspiration of being led by God actually

commit himself to giving giving up his goods to escaping from this prison of his own making. It's something that's worth pondering. Is the same invitation being extended to you the same invitation was Extended to me there were things that I needed to put down things that I needed to change and there is a window of time that That I sense it said you need to take care of these things now in order to said, you need to take care of these things now in order to open up the door to what I want to do. That is what was coming

to me from God and I struggle with these things. I battle I battle with it. It's a it was a significant challenge but the lord the lord will win the day and it's just a question of will we actually in full measure surrender to him and that may require saying no to other things and saying no to anything that would pull us away from the Lord not just one time, but ten times 100 times hundred times, a thousand times. But it's worth it.

Every time you recognize that the Lord is giving you strength to resist temptation and is drawing you near to him, you get both the positive reinforcement of the Lord's presence and the benefit of it being easier to say no to the things that would pull you away from God the next time. So wherever you are, whatever is going on in your life, this is a season where I myself am experiencing breakthroughs and a move of God that I can see in myself and around me because I have finally come to the place of surrendering things that I know

that I've needed to surrender. And it's something that I've mentioned many times, but now I feel like I can speak about it without being double-minded to a sense. And a lot of the times when I'm on here and speaking to you I'm speaking to myself I'm trying to encourage myself I'm trying to talk myself into actually just letting things go and relying on the lord and doing the the simple things that we know we need to do and understanding that it will it better. It is always a better thing for us to go to God and to follow him and to submit and surrender

to his will for our life. He has better things in store for us, brothers and sisters. And we are seeing these right now. And for me, there was a period after I received the word for for this year this this word of guidance and before this time frame that there was just a growing sense of Tension in my in my spiritual life tension that needed to be Resolved in in one way in one way or another it was just now was the time and now is the season. There was a there was an invitation and it

was a yes or no fork in the road. Which way which way are we going to go on on this journey and felt felt momentous. You know, maybe not in the grand scheme of things all all said and done like you know nothing nothing's gonna be written in the history books about this, but what I got from the Lord in my time of prayer and fasting was the word expansion. And for me, this is very in line with a lot of the other words that I've received because it could apply to a bunch

of different things. I prayed and I pressed in, I was seeking additional clarification and maybe it applies to a whole host of different arenas but what it what it tells me is not exactly what is going to happen this year or moving into the season but what it tells me is that there is a door open for new opportunities for growth, for forward progress in a way that maybe wasn't there before in exactly the same way. And this is just the way that

things need to be. We need to understand the times and the seasons that we are in. And for a variety of different reasons, I think many people would be on the same page that this is a season and a day of opportunity and a day where God is on the move and is wanting to accomplish great things. Now, it's not as if in other seasons where this word wasn't in place in the same way that, you know, that God is powerless to act in this way. It's not any constraint on God's disposition to say that there are different times and different seasons for for different things, but if right now is a season of expansion, at least as far as what the Holy Spirit is speaking to my own life, then for me, my attitude needs to be, let me be extra vigilant about being open to new opportunities or partnerships, whether it's in ministry or in life or in family or in career or in any different any different area. But most of

all, if something is going to expand, the first thing that needs to expand is my obedience and surrender to the Lord. If I want the kingdom of God to be expanded and that is the the hunger of my heart, then that is a proper orientation. So, let the kingdom of God expand. Whatever happens to me and my initiatives and my job and my ministry or my giftings or anything else, if all of the rest of that goes by the wayside, what matters most is that the kingdom of God expands. And I pray that we would all just get our priority straight for this time because we have to strike while the iron is hot so to speak.

If there is a season for it, the question has been posed to us by Jesus. If we put ourselves in the place of the rich young ruler, will we receive the blessing by being obedient and surrendering to him? Is that what is going to happen or will we miss the time of our visitation? Will we go the other way? Will we say, let me let me go back to my house. I have a new ox or a new wife or I have to bury someone as per another one of the parables? Or will we simply say, yes, Jesus, I want to follow you, I want to experience more of your presence, I want to know the fullness of what you have for me. I want your will for my life and most importantly

I want your kingdom to be expanded. I want your name to be glorified for you are worthy of it and when we worship the Lord in that way and find ourselves properly submitted to him and Following him with our whole heart There is freedom there. There is freedom there. There is blessing there. There are miracles there. There is expansion there. So, let it be the case that the Holy Spirit helps you to take this word to heart. It is a simple situation.

Do you want the Kingdom of God to expand? If so, are you willing to surrender everything to God, knowing that His will is perfect, and that His love is complete, and that his righteousness never ends. Will we allow ourselves to be led by him wherever it may take us, whatever we are called to do? Will we receive the blessing of being equipped by him for greater things? Will we in advance commit to giving him the glory for everything that he is doing and wants to do? Will we commit to worshiping him and praising him and showing forth through our testimonies his goodness to

this generation so that more and more would be drawn to him and participate in the harvest for the kingdom at this time. Will we rest in the promise that the lord has given us a blessing? Will we allow ourselves to be liberated from fear and anxiety and trepidation and anger and fury and disgust and confusion and all of these devastating emotions and thought processes that hold us in bondage. Will we commit to saying that the Lord is true? We hear him when he calls us the afflicted one, tossed with tempest, not comforted.

But we also receive from him that he will make our pinnacles of rubies, our walls of precious stones, all our children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of our children. What does it mean? That great shall be the peace of our children. I pray that we would know firsthand that great peace, that marvelous rest that comes from understanding who we are in the Lord and walking rightly with him, knowing that the righteousness is not our own but that the righteousness is not our own, but that the righteousness is from God. Remember, this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. This is our inheritance. We serve the Lord. We have been ransomed and redeemed by him. And in these famous passages

in Isaiah 54, it is true, no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against us in judgment we shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is for me, says the Lord. Let it be so, let it be so in our lives, let it be so in our families, let it be so everywhere. Bring revival, Lord. Bring great moves of your Holy Spirit, tangible, powerful, showcasing your glory to this generation. Help us to lay hold of this word, Holy Spirit. Help us to understand what it means for us to participate in an expansion of your kingdom, of our own lives, in every single way, Lord.

Let our devotion and love for you expand. Let your kingdom expand. Let your word expand and go forth. Let our families expand. Let our families expand. Let our businesses expand. Let our ministries and our churches expand. Let your glory as it is shown forth here on earth expand. Help us Lord to redeem the time help us to surrender help us to follow you help us to See what you are doing in this time in this generation

We need your help Lord. We can't do it by ourselves. We love you. We love you Lord Help us to see what it means to expand and lead us in the way that we should go. In your name, Jesus. Amen.
