Pain. Pain is the great equalizer, the secret to life. From the time I was a boy, I learned to always inflict pain faster than my opponent, to never let pain guide my decisions, and always harness the pain for my own strength.
The Great Quake brought misery and death to a callous number of people, but it made me a god, ruler of my domain, the greatest bounty hunter to ever live.
No one, no one dares run from T.J. Swenson, except one.
They call her the lone survivor, the savior of the refugees.
But she is my greatest bounty ever.
This is life on the changing earth.
I want to go.
We've had this conversation, buddy.
I don't care. I miss my friends, and I don't want to go. We've had this conversation, buddy. I don't care.
I miss my friends, and I don't want to miss my family.
I don't want to sleep alone.
I love you, Daniel.
We will be back.
I love you, too.
I just...
It's time to roll, guys.
We're coming.
I love you, buddy.
Make sure you come home.
Bye, Daniel.
Keep an eye on Johnny for me.
I will.
I want to see a cool new painting when we get back.
I love you, little bro.
Bye, Star. I love you.
Might as well just rip my heart out and stomp it into the ground.
The world won't magically fix itself.
We have to get my mom away from Tweed.
Hold on
Wait for the morning
Till the sun comes
Over the hills
Make your call
Loud and clear
I'm sorry about Sean, Star.
So am I.
What happened?
Jensen got word from Cole when he checked in that the feds had invaded,
and they decided to reveal themselves to me, like I didn't know he was following me. Anyway, he told us we should head
west immediately with him. Cole was worried that they would come for me. Sean freaked out. He didn't
want to have to leave his band. He didn't want to go back to a life on the run. You know the drummer,
Todd? Yeah. He has a sister, Bree. She fell off
the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, but they're landowners. He talked with
another manager and the guy arranged the paperwork. He said he still loves me, but this is his big
chance to become a superstar. How do you feel about that? Well, I'm pissed and sad. I miss him.
Well, I'm pissed And sad
I miss him
I got him all those gigs
I thought he loved me
But it was all a lie
I don't think it was, Star
Mary knew it was a fast decision
That we had to make
What else was he going to do?
I think he did love you
But his head grew too big, too fast
Once he started drawing crowds
Well, I think he's an asshole And if I ever see him again I'm gonna rip off his balls But his head grew too big, too fast, once he started drawing crowds.
Well, I think he's an asshole.
And if I ever see him again, I'm going to rip off his balls.
Dad!
What? Nobody hurts my superstar.
Oh, Dad.
Hey, I'm serious.
I never trusted that jerk-off anyway.
Stop it, guys. He's a good guy. He just loved his music more than me.
His loss.
Good to see you, sir.
Are we ready to roll?
Yes, sir. Staff Sergeant Bingham made contact with Greg and Pit. They should be ready for us.
Excellent. Put on your thermal cloaks and keep your heads down people we're going into the lion's den tiny voices ringing in my head
is this the beginning or the end i just don't know
i just don't know Johnny, you watch yourself out there.
We're set to go, sir.
Our caravan will head south toward Vegas and pick up Dexter's family.
Keep your head on a swivel.
Hopefully all goes well in Vegas, but you never know.
Sir, I'll do my best to come home safely.
But if they need help, I'm going know. Sir, I'll do my best to come home safely, but if they
need help, I'm going to provide it. I would expect nothing less. Keep an eye on that boy. I'll be
fine, sir, and handle all my responsibilities. I know you will. Here we go, birders.
Why are they flying us out? Why use the fuel?
The earthquake risk is uptaking exponentially. We need our command ready to respond.
I hope they make it.
They have their orders and a head start on the crowd.
Look at how many people are here.
We've got to get back to the north.
That's where they're heading, ma'am.
We can debate how we shouldn't have left at all, but that won't do us any good now.
I knew your feelings then and now, Cole.
Right now, we need to focus on moving these people smoothly.
We won't let any more Americans needlessly perish.
Couldn't agree more. Alex!
Hi, Erica.
Fitz, good to see you.
Look how big you guys have gotten.
White, take your team and secure the gardens.
Erica, Dex, Smith, let's go.
Keep your mother safe.
I will, Dad.
There's a soldier.
It's Walker.
The cameras can see him, but they can't hear him.
I'll walk through the gate and open it.
Walk through and quickly search the other side.
That's all the time you have to get through.
The refugees are already on the other side.
Zulu, hotel, bravo, golf.
Hello, sir. Welcome back.
I wish I could say I was happy to be here.
Who would wish that, sir? Come on.
Dexter, Smith, you two hold this position. No one comes in.
Yes, sir. She's not in, you two hold this position. No one comes in. Yes, sir.
She's not in any of these cells, Bennett.
Come on. A lot of times they keep VIP prisoners in the other wing. Plus the armory and stuff.
Hello, sir. Glad you made it.
Is the armory stocked? Full ammo resupply this morning, sir. We don't have enough weapons to arm everyone.
That's okay. We can improvise.
Go. Start freeing them all. We'll need them.
Yes, sir.
She's not in any of those cells either, sir. We have to find my mom.
The riot ain't over yet. We're ready. Everything is happening too fast.
Don't worry. We'll find her.
Guess we're going live. It's her!
It's Erica, the savior of the refugees!
Thank you, Erica!
We're all in this together.
Has any of you seen Nancy Fisher?
She's an older woman.
No, ma'am.
Tweet moved her.
He has her, Bennett.
I have to go get her.
Erica, that base will be swarming right now.
She's my mom, Bennett.
Don't you understand?
Who's your commanding officer?
I am, sir.
I'm General Sergeant Christopher Crane, sir. I'm leaving Corporal Smith with you. He knows the details of this mission. I need you to rally these refugees and keep them pressing on towards the gate. The mercenary and militia teams won't be long. Just keep them alive. Dex, Erica, let's go. Disaster Coffee is fueling disaster relief in America.

Are Yuri and Serge coming soon? Yes, sir.
Bonner's been going out of his mind
rotating stock to get ready.
Why don't you worry about your business
and quit worrying about mine?
Yes, sir. I'll pick you out
a good one. You do that.
Are you ready for some new stock?
I'm so ready.
Someone better know how to give it a good massage.
I've been working my ass off.
I'm sure you'll have plenty to choose from.
Black shirts.
Line them up. Well done boys.
Did you pick one?
This girl, Alexis.
Her eyes are as blue as stars, and I like her white hair.
Don't you pull away from me. Get over here.
Yuri!
I'm keeping this wife. Her name is Tina. We'll see how long she lasts.
Which of you is Dolores?
My name is Dolores.
I've read your file. You're coming with me. Hello.
Hello, sweetie.
What's your name, ma'am?
My name's Dolores. What's your name?
My name is Jenny.
What do you do, Jenny?
I cook and clean for DJ.
I missed the introductions.
I'm sorry, DJ.
Don't you have work to do?
Yes, DJ.
You remember who protects you.
You know what happens to naughty girlies around here?
I know, DJ.
I'll get dinner ready.
Stay focused, and don't forget it.
Yes, sir.
Dolores, let's you and me have a chat and talk about your future here.
I have nothing to say to you.
Ha ha ha ha.
Let me tell you how this is going to go.
I'm going to ask you questions, and you're going to tell me the answer.
If you don't answer, there'll be pain.
If I don't like your answer, there'll be pain.
Don't.
What?
You never run from me.
Do you understand?
Not one step.
I understand.
This is your world now.
I'm your god and you will worship me as such.
You're crazy.
Woman, you don't understand the half of it.
I suggest you start reconsidering your place in this world.
You're mine now.
We'll take care of this attitude tonight.
This is gonna be fun.
Bingham and I will hold this position.
You two secure the control room.
We're on it.
Dad, wait. Greg, is that you?
Star?
Vince. Buddy, I'm glad to see you. Hi, wait. Greg, is that you? Star? Vince. Buddy, I'm glad to see you.
Hi, Vince.
Hi, Penny. Where are the kids?
Jen and Mitchell have them in the adjacent warehouse.
We're ready to go, brother.
Where's Erica?
She's with Bennett and Dax. They went to get her mom and the Mercs out of the prison.
Let's dial in, Vince.
What do you think? I've been doing it.
Vince, Nancy's not in the prison.
Tweed has her.
What?
Everything's secure in here?
Erica's gonna freak.
She'll go to Tweed.
They're going to trigger the alarm.
This place will be swarming by then.
We have to get there before the alarm sounds.
Get where?
To Matthew Tweed and the Luxor.
No, hold on, Vince.
I'm the senior officer here, and our top priority is to secure these gardens.
Sebastian, I'm sorry, but I know my wife.
I know what she'll try to do.
I can't let her die.
You're under orders, Vince.
But I'm not a merc.
Greg knows this system better than
I do at this point. I'll stay
dad. I'll help the
incoming refugees organize to
load on the train with Alex.
With your permission, I'd like to go with
Vince, sir. Just go get
her and get back here. What do we got, Ben?
A damn shit show, sir.
Merkley put his kid in charge of training.
We'll put an end to that. I'll talk to Merkley.
A lot of people want to keep moving. They're tired of fighting. We have put an end to that. I'll talk to Merkley. A lot of people want to keep moving.
They're tired of fighting. We have to keep their hope alive. If they don't believe we can win,
how will we? I'll do what I can, sir. Hopefully Bennett gets here soon. He can help you.
You got a second, Cole? I have places to be, sir. You're dismissed. Come on in, Cassidy.
I'm headed out. What? Now? I need to go back to Dallas.
We need to have a clear path for refugees headed that direction.
Can't you stay the night?
Trust me, babyface.
Nothing would make me happier.
But Governor Dixon doesn't stay in one place very long.
The meeting is already set up.
Damn your responsibilities, woman.
I'll be back in a few days, and I promise to stay in one spot for a while.
Go do what you gotta do.
I know the sign was given.
It's in the way you move.
And in the sound of your heart.
We tend to fall together.
Fall in love and still.
In the end we'll fall apart.
So it's hopeless that we stay close.
But it's the life that we chose.
It takes time to get it right.
Sleepless days and nights.
We just need a little more. Hi, this is Jane Austen, otherwise known as Survivor Jane, and the voice of Dolores Chapman.

Grease this lid up like a Christmas tree.
I know another way in.
Guards on the upper floor where all the lights are.
One guard stationed by the door.
And we've got one inside.
No, he's a refugee.
He has chains and his broom on the floor.
I'm taking it.
Let's move. Hello. Nice and his broom on the floor. I'm taking it. Listen.
Hello. Nice night.
Hold it right there.
Now don't you move a muscle. Either of you, or he's dead.
Don't shoot him. I'm putting the gun down.
Slowly now. Slide it away.
Now he's even, sir.
Clint? What in the hell are you doing here?
I'm headed for Texas after my run-in with y'all, but the damned feds caught up to me. I needed supplies. Ain't you glad you didn't kill me?
I guess so. You know, I always thought Erica had been wrong to let you go. I guess she wasn't.
I see you're still getting use out of my cloak. We sure are, but Clint, I need you to
focus. How many more guards will be between here and Tweed's office? Hell if I know. I ain't never
been in enough trouble to get sent up there. That's where we're headed. Well, y'all are on your own.
Come on, Jensen. We'll go through the refugee processing area.
Where's all this fence? They ensure all the refugees are cleaned up before being displayed
to the landowners for adoption. That's sick, man. That door takes you back into the
main area of the Luxor. That one will take us to the adoption interview rooms.
Matthew Tweed's office is down here. This is it. 3, 2, 1.
Just hold it right there, or Nancy dies.
How nice of you to join us, Vince. It's been a while.
This is like organizing feral cats.
They're just scared.
Terrence.
Hey there, Star. Good to see you.
We got too many folks around those gardens.
I'll clear them out.
We'll help you.
You guys need to head towards the train.
Clear this area!
Let's check on Greg.
Where's he headed? I know that guy.
Staff Sergeant White? He's with us, Sergeant.
He's with the Feds.
You must have him confused with someone else.
I'm telling you, Star. He's with the, Sergeant. He's with the feds. You must have him confused with someone else.
I'm telling you, Star, he's with the feds.
Who?
I saw that guy that just left. White.
Here a little over a month ago.
They flew him in on a helicopter.
The feds are pressing this way.
Greg, what did he say before he left? Who? White, what did he say before he left?
Who?
White, what did he say before he left?
He mumbled something about how we're going to lose our gardens.
He's a mole, Greg.
What do you think he'll do?
We gotta move the civilians.
And I've got to warn my folks.
Where did Staff Sergeant White go, Greg?
To find Vince and Erica.
I don't know what the feds are planning to do here, Greg.
You might want to think about moving your people out of here.
I know you need this food,
but it's not worth your life.
I have to find them. The girls Yuri and Serge brought in are some quality women, TJ.
Best stock I've seen in a while. Well fed and healthy.
All thanks to their caretaker, Miss Dolores.
The pretty woman on the wall?
She'll be broken soon enough.
You going to keep her?
She'll always be close, that's for sure.
Good. Let me use her for my girls.
Done.
You picked out a girl yet, Carl?
The night is young, Chuck. What's the rush?
How's the Supreme General's battle going?
Bad. He's losing ground in the South and the West.
She has enough force to kill half of them, so the others submit.
It's more complicated than that, T.J.
Is it?
I thought you should know, Erica is alive and she's headed to Vegas.
I know.
You knew where she was all along, didn't you?
Of course I did.
Why didn't you tell the Supreme General?
I'm not a killer, Carl.
The hell you aren't.
I guess it depends on the opponent.
I wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to break that woman.
You're going to have to.
The Supreme General is bringing the planes from Vegas now.
They're going to bomb the city on their way out.
That strategy sounds too familiar.
But hell, maybe it'll work for him this time.
Ginny, get me another bottle.
Where is that girl?
Ginny, what are you doing back here?
I'm sorry, TJ, we...
Hanging out with a refugee whore.
Alexis, get your ass out of here and find Sergey.
Yes, sir.
Jenny, come here.
You don't talk to refugees.
But she wanted to play, and I was all alone.
You want to backtalk me?
No, DJ. I'm sorry.
You think you're alone?
You can spend the night in that cell and see how alone you are.
DJ.
What? You have more to say?
No, DJ. You better keep that whore on a leash, Sir J.
So the girls want to giggle.
It's a party, DJ.
The way you treat that girl, she won't last a month.
I'm not going to let Ginny get attached.
Oh, DJ's soft spot for his little girls.
You better shut your mouth, Sergei.
Or what, DJ?
Oh! Send me a prayer and I'll spread my wings to the sky. Let's go away, but you see me now.

Not talking?
Show him what happens when refugee scum Doesn't do what they're told, Captain
With pleasure, sir
Remember knocking my tooth out
You son of a bitch
That's enough
Now, let's try this again Where is that bitch of a wife of yours? That's enough.
Now, let's try this again.
Where is that bitch of a wife of yours?
If you're here, she's here.
Where is she, Vince?
Oh, was that your tooth?
Go to hell, Matthew.
Captain. Captain?
You know where she is?
He wants to talk.
See, Nancy, people are always willing to be helpful.
You just have to ask the right way.
You pig.
Wait until you see what I'm going to do to your daughter.
Maybe I'll let you watch. So, Mr. Black, where is she?
She's flying overhead right now on a purple Pegasus. What? Do you think this is a game?
Captain!
Captain!
Vince, can you hear me? I will kill Nancy. I have you now, so where is Erica?
Ow!
I've got the captain!
No you don't get off me you fat pig oh you piece of shit Mom? Mom? Oh my god, Vince!
Let's get Tweed's fat ass off of him.
Mom?
I'm good.
Thank god he's alive.
I'm afraid I might have given up.
I'm afraid I'm running low on love.
I'm afraid that in the end you're more than I deserve.
Every time I count my blessings, I count you first.
Every time I count my blessings, I count you first.
Every time I count my blessings, I count you first. That girl is so sweet, DJ.
Well worth the time and effort.
If you and Anthony keep after her like that,
she's not gonna last long.
She's like a drug, DJ.
I can't stop.
Looks like it's my turn again.
Have fun.
Your men are pigs. There's something about that girl, isn't there?
They raised her like a daughter.
My brother, Sergei, chose her.
She's his now.
Just like you're mine now.
The sooner you realize that, the easier your life will be.
What did I tell you?
You never run from me.
Not one step.
When I talk to you, you say,
Yes, TJ.
Don't push me, woman.
It will not end well for you.
Can you hear her screaming?
No!
No! No!
You wanted to stop?
Yes, TJ.
Then tell me, TJ, I will never run from you.
TJ, I will never run from you.
Good girl. Jenny, breakfast in the morning.
Yes, TJ.
Grandma!
Come on, Vince.
Thanks, Nancy.
That was badass, Mom.
Now we know where you get it from, Cupcake.
Oh, man.
That bullet got me, Sharon.
Let me take a look at that.
That should do for now.
Let's go. How y'all doing? We could have used some help. I can see that. Clint, what the hell are you doing
here? You know this guy, Erica? Long story, but yeah.
Hey, thanks, mister.
We can't have you slowing us down. Staff Sergeant White, why aren't you at your post?
I have one more thing to do before my mission is accomplished.
What are you talking about? The mission is not over until the compound is ours.
Please don't do it, Sebastian.
I'm so sorry, Vince. I like to, but she has to die for the good of our great Union.
No!
Las Vegas is compromised.
Target has not been destroyed.
Star?
Are you okay?
I'm good, thanks to you.
My superstar.
Let's move, to that building. Come on, Erica!
Quinn's dead!
Leave him! We have to go! Quick! In here!
Get in the freezer!
In the freezer?
I'll unplug it.
It will keep us safe.

Oh my God.
Oh,
look what they did.
If Henderson couldn't have the gardens, no one could.
Do you think they survived?
Henderson hasn't been able to take them down yet, Danny.
I'm sure we'll find them.
Can I help you?
Hi, Terrence.
Oh, hey, Daniel.
We're looking for Staff Sergeant Bingham.
We haven't been able to find him.
There's Greg.
Hey, Daniel.
It's good to see you.
Who's your friend?
This is Trent Hall and Johnny.
We're going to get Mom and Dad.
Where are they?
We're not sure.
Is your family okay?
We're good.
But if you have doctors, plenty of work to do.
Walker, can you get the people that are left organized?
We brought buses for the wounded, but we need to get these people on the move.
Yes, sir.
Where was the last known location of Bennett and the Moors?
They went to the Luxor.
I'll show you the way.
Daniel, bring Tucker.
You'll find Dexter.
Okay.
Come on bring Tucker. You'll find Dexter. Okay. Come on, Tucker.
Why do you leave me lonely
When you know I'm better than you
Stuck in the past, you told me
And all I ever wanted was your home
The bombing stopped.
Here, hold the light.
Jeez.
Jeez.
Oh man, this is not happening.
Come on.
At least there's a cold steak for my face.
But everything is going to melt.
What about Jensen's arm?
Is there anything we can use to wrap it better?
Someone help us!
They can't hear you, Dexter. Oh, it has to be daytime by now.
Hey, look. Ice cream. But nothing to help Johnson. Here, it's chocolate. Really, Bennett? Why not?
In a few hours, it'll be liquid anyway. I'll take chocolate chip cookie dough in that case.
This is the plan. Debris has blocked the door.
Eventually, they'll search this area.
We have to make sure we're making noise while they're searching.
We'll go on half-hour shifts of banging the shelf against the door.
Dexter, you're up first.
All we can do is re-wrap it for now, Jensen.
All this crap is going to melt.
Let's pile it all on the shelf over there.
We can slide these two together so Jensen and Vince have a place to lie down.
If we pile the meat, it should stay frozen longer.
So, how was it living in Dallas?
Hot.
I enjoyed the position, but I missed my grandkids so much.
Don't get me wrong.
Red's daughters took good care of me,
and her children are little dollies.
But it only made me miss Dex and Star and Daniel more.
I thought maybe we could get you once we got to Minnesota,
but that was a joke.
After news of the Northern meeting came,
I knew there was no way I'd be able to get a cross-region pass.
Then, one day, Matthew shows up. He claimed my occupational pass was denied. We took a train
back to Vegas, but I knew something was wrong. None of it felt right. We had all seen Matthew's desire to discredit you, and when it all blew up in his face,
he was livid. I knew he wanted revenge, but he housed me well and often spent evenings talking
about what happened to him after the Great Quake. The governing board made him a scapegoat, Mom.
I had a run-in with Miss Corrine Tillman, leader of the western FEMA region in Colorado.
She told me that they didn't want to make a murder of me,
and that's why they let me go.
She didn't seem to have a problem with it anymore, though,
and was going to ship us back to the Capitol to be tried and executed.
Matthew was just a pawn.
I'll take the next shift, Dex.
Matthew is just a pawn.
I'll take the next shift, Dex.
The trip across the country was crazy, Grandma.
We saw the USS Missouri.
The battleship?
Yeah.
That's when Daniel almost died.
What? What?
They implanted him with a tracker that had a kill switch.
What? You have a tracker in you tracker that had a kill switch. What?
You have a tracker in you.
We can get that taken care of, though.
Then we fought dogs, and that got a bit bad.
He's got a gnarly scar on his arm.
Why didn't you tell me all this when we talked?
The government was monitoring all of our conversations.
I couldn't.
We've killed a lot of soldiers.
Bennett covered for you? You're damn right I did. Erica's story has had a big impact on this country.
We were winning. But then Henderson made himself the Supreme General and took total control.
I'll take over, Bennett. Just stay true to what you believe in.
When the nightingale sings, you should spread your wings.
Take off and start anew.
What if I don't want to
Did you sleep?
How can I sleep with all the endless banging?
It's your turn.
No, no, no!
You have to be kidding me!
Someone help!
Erica, it's okay.
We're all together.
We're alive.
They'll find us.
Bennett's right, baby.
Did you hear that?
I think I heard something.
They're out there!
Trucker? It's okay, buddy. We're here
Yeah, we're all here
Come on, Vince.
Medic.
He needs help.
Jensen's hurt too.
Oh my God.
Look at what they did.
Hi, Mom.
There's a sight for sore eyes.
Trucker!
Let's get moving, guys.
