Looks like there's some turbulence up ahead.
It's a good thing you found us.
We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
Your path,
act of stability. PBN Family, good morning.
Patriot Power Hour, tonight.
Don't miss it. We did our own big beautiful show last night about three hours
Three hours between largely myself and Jordan from Phoenix Survival and Rick Austin popped in and out
You know the goats were trampling the internet wire so it
was tough to keep him on but we were talking prepper cam for the evening I
don't want to talk about that this morning we did that for three hours I
got my fill of that yesterday this morning over on X I went and posted I'll
post it in the link down below too I I posted a link to the Lost Superfoods book.
A book that I helped write. It's back to prepping. You know, it's prep on. It just is what it is.
It's one day on top of the next. As Dave Jones says, it's establish a position and improve upon it daily.
This is what we do here. This is how we make the butter. You know what I mean?
So I posted something along those lines. Over on X, you know, if you're hearing this for the first time,
do yourself a favor. Follow us everywhere you can follow us. We're over on YouTube, we're on X.
The way the world looks, the way the world works today, it's like you get hit with a tidal wave of information. to all this guy I heard this guy was talking about prepping I don't know where he was yeah dig in to PBN I'm thrilled to be just sitting here behind the mic no
lights no cameras very little action but for the coffee but we did it we did a
big beautiful show last night it was good and now it's back. You know, it's back to it. It's been doing a lot of
stuff lately with survival gear. I'm really, I'm really interested. And I think one of
the things that I'd like to hear from you guys via email, via social media, whatever.
Back when Michael Savage was in his heyday, he really inspired me a lot.
Those of you who listen to him, you can probably hear it in my own inflections.
But he used to do horror stories.
He used to do, you know, medicare horror stories family like family holiday
horror stories things like that you know it was always fun you know it's always
one of the great things that I miss so much in life is hearing from regular
people on AM radio you know not because AM radio sucks so bad most of
the time if you don't want to listen to politics. If you don't want to listen to
politics and sports and you go on AM radio the best you got is like the
carnival Mexican tunes. You know what I mean with the with the accordion. But if
you don't want to get into any of that, it's really rare
that you can have any situation. Everybody's been relegated to a line of
text and I love chat. I love talking to the chat room and the people who are
there and who show up faithfully. It's great. But I miss people, you know. I
really do miss people. And at PrepperBroadcasting.com, you can record yourself.
You can record a message to us.
And if you want, just tell me you would put it on air.
I'll put it on air.
I know for many of you, it's an opsec issue and that's fine.
But if you want to have, you know, you want to have it on air, have it on air for real.
So that would be fun.
I think that would be fun.
But I'd love to hear your survival gear horror stories. You know, I had a blind spot last
week that it really took my breath away, to be honest honest I've been doing some videography for our incredible sponsor Lima Tango survival recording
Video for some ads and some other ways to really showcase
What they do because I think what they do is very important and now I think it's more important than ever
And one of the things we were doing we were comparing a
And one of the things we were doing, we were comparing a bag, a Lima Tango backpack to a competitor's backpack.
I had in my hands the box, and I opened the box before I left for vacation, and I looked
at the bag and I said, you know, this looks like a pretty nice bag.
I'm interested to see what's in it.
If you follow me on Instagram or X, then
you know the punchline already. But I got home, settled in from vacation and all that,
and it's been a bumpy ride. June was a choppy seize for the commander, can I tell you? If
it weren't for my wife planning that vacation, it would have been a very bad month.
Just up straight up and down.
So I get home and I go to pull the bag out.
I'm like, all right, let's look at this bag.
I don't know this brand and I want to see how it stands up to Lima.
And I pull the bag out and there's no gear in the bag.
The bag is in its own plastic and all the gear is in the box.
And it's not good. It's not much.
And then what really pissed me off more than anything,
what really made this such a horror story,
is there wouldn't matches all over the box.
And I don't know if they fell out or whatever.
I don't know what the situation is.
All I know is I got a box with a survival kit in it
and the backpack wasn't filled up with anything.
The gear was sparse and low quality
and the wooden matches were like sprinkled throughout everything as
though they opened during shipping or whatever the situation is.
I felt so bad for you guys in that moment.
Now many of you guys take care of business so I shouldn't but I felt so bad for people
because here I am day in and day out telling you the prepping is the true
anti-anxiety I really believe that I really believe that prepping is health
and wellness I just believe it I think there's well I think prepping is
everything right I do I think it's there's a little bit of prepping in
almost everything you do.
You can look at any hobby and anything, right?
Because basic preparedness is spread on everything.
It's like, you know, you're going golfing tomorrow.
What are you going to do before you head out?
There's got to be some preparedness steps you take.
And there are people who live that way and there are people who don't and sometimes look sometimes I don't
That's why that's why I have backup in my wife because she's preparedness on
Things that I don't think about when it comes to preparedness. You know what I mean?
so I
Was really I was really set back and I've I've, I mean I wish I had a budget to just burn through
crap gear.
That's what I'd really like to do.
I'd really like to do that.
I may try to figure out a way to finagle it and make it happen. I'm not interested in destroying people's livelihoods and brands.
But I am very interested in seeing how deep the rabbit hole goes, PBN family. I'm very interested
in seeing how crappy the survival gear out there is. In passing, I knew you could see things on YouTube, you know, you see things,
this is filled with a bunch of trash probably, or this thing will fall apart, or whatever the
situation is. But something about receiving a 72-hour bag, wrapping my head around,
having it in my hands, right? And wrapping my head around like this is supposed to do the job.
Looking at the gear and knowing this isn't gonna do the job, you know? And then having that
realization that like I've had good gear for a long time because most of my stuff
I've put together myself and then because I know how to bob and weave
through the channels of shitty gear,
I haven't really wasted much money on stuff that didn't serve me.
Right?
I haven't even been given a lot of stuff that didn't serve me.
Like if I'm talking to somebody about an affiliate program or about showcasing gear to you guys,
like, it's gotta be good stuff.
You know what I mean?
Before I bring it to you so it's one of those situations where I just was kind of protected from it for a
long time and it we all have those blind spots in life you know I don't feel bad
about it or anything it just really surprised me because I'm looking at this
box with this minimal amount of gear
and no care whatsoever put into it because the matches are flung all over the box.
I'm thinking like, you know, if this wound up in the hands of a 20-something kid or a single mom. You know what I mean? And they're watching the news and they're watching AI and they're watching, you know,
Iran and the war on the horizon for America or whatever they think could happen. Am I gonna get taken to this war? You know, if you're in your 20s right now,
it's got to be at least a little piece of you that's going like alright how do I dodge this draft I really don't feel like fighting robots or cavemen you know what I mean that's
like it that's what it is he writing robots or cavemen anymore so you're
looking at this bag for an answer you know you made this purchase these things
aren't cheap especially not today you know so you make this purchase you get this box you
get this bag and you're like you know what I turn on the news it's nothing but
anxiety look you have to understand I I see this because I've seen this for so
long I see what the news is now and I see what the news is because I know
what Prepper News was. Alright now I'm gonna give two headlines right now
unless the Drudge Report changed them already. They changed stuff so fast. This
is a massive propaganda engine now the Drudge Report. It's so crazy.
But why it's important and why I go is because you still get a snapshot of what the average American is reading. I think.
So, ICE raids.
Okay, Free America protests taking place nationwide on 4th of July. That's not what I want.
There were two headlines, both were in red just a moment ago on Drudge.
I'm starting to think Drudge might be AI-powered.
But anyway, one of them was about 4th of July events canceled in LA and California because of fear of ice raids.
And then there's another doomsday one as well. I mean I could find, I could scroll through
here and find you some. But these are the things that show up not just on, not just
on websites like this, but everywhere anymore.
They got the Coeur d'Alene Massacre, American Pride slips to a new low, trillions and trillions in debt.
These headlines, Dollar Suffers Worse Start to the Year Since 1973, that's a direct economic collapse blog this is literally an
economic collapse blog article and back in the day you only used to be able to
really get this stuff if you were searching for it or if you went to a
website like the economic collapse blog.com the only way you got this stuff
it didn't show up you didn't get get educated on the condition of the US dollar
just by opening up your cell phone.
In the dire situations that we all face or could face or
whatever, oh, Harvest.
That's what it was.
There was another one on there about Harvest's very low this
year.
This is Prepper, SHTF site. What was a shtf plan.com website fodder like
this is prepper news and I can't impress upon you how important it is for the
average American you need to tell people this okay you need to let people know
because they don't understand the way that you understand some of you are
probably listening going like yeah I know I know what they're doing yeah prepper news was popular and it got a
lot of clicks and the media found that out and they're doing it too but this
doom news what they're missing is when I read shtf plan every day in my life I
was just getting into prepping I was but I was taking action
You know I read it for a while I read it for a while until I got smart enough and realized okay
I don't need to read about the end of the world every single day think I got it think I got the cliff notes
But what you need to tell people is
the news feeds of today are
not the news feeds of yesterday and
feeds of today are not the news feeds of yesterday and they might be even more dangerous than propaganda now because they are they are putting you in a
position of shock and awe they are massive anxiety inducing news headlines
like we've heard years and years and years of stories about harvests being low, about water being low, about Lake Mead, about aquifers being low, and all this kind of stuff.
And I'm telling you right now, like, it is great motivation if you want to grow your own food, raise your own food, put food up, that kind of stuff.
Right? It will motivate you to do that.
What I worry about most is the people that don't even know what they're reading and how to mitigate it.
You know what I mean? Like they're like, God, these headlines are tough.
And then they go about their business.
But in the back of their mind they're like the world's falling apart
There's no food. There's no water the aliens are coming the illegal aliens are coming. We don't know what
We don't know what to do
Because they never asked for that, you know what I mean
The average person didn't ask for the shtf plan comm algorithm in their phone
The economic collapse blog list of articles in their phone, the economic collapse blog
list of articles in their phone, and now they're getting it. And they think it's just news.
They think it's just news. So back to the gear. So let's say, let's say the first thing
that you do, because you're not listening to no crazy preppers,
you don't know what they're all about.
You know, they're probably Bible thumping lunatics over there at Prepper Broadcasting
Network.
So the first thing people do is, you know, maybe they buy this bag, maybe they drop a
hundred bucks and buy this backpack.
And they're thinking, you you know what I feel better
today I buy placed in order right I got this backpack I know like I can bug out
if I need to that kind of thing and then you get this gear and look most people
might look at it and go like I don't even know if this is good or bad but the
whole experience with this backpack was just terrible.
You know what I mean?
And it really makes me want to review more gear.
And not just the gear.
See, the gear review stuff that I do is stuff that I know works,
and I feel like, oh, I'm bringing this to light.
You know, Ryan Buford used to have, what was it called?
He used to have a little show that he was working on.
We may have to ask him if we can hijack it for this purpose.
What was it called? I can't remember. Tactical Torture.
Yeah, Tactical Torture was what it was called.
And I always thought about Tactical Torture, and I always wanted to get my kids, once they
got to a certain age, to take on that because I love the name and I think the concept is
great too.
When I looked at that bag, it popped into my head.
I said, what would this stuff survive?
How many people even know?
One of the things like there are SOS food rations in there.
I'm like, who's going to eat these?
I don't know if people even know how to you know nothing wrong with them
You got a bunch of firsts in that backpack and a bunch of crap so yeah
It makes me really want to put hands on a
variety of things that are out there
You know I want to get like
ten different lighters that cost five bucks a piece that that claim to do this and that and see what they do.
You know?
I've never been one for gear reviewing and I think it was because I'm not really good...
I don't think I'm really good at showing you why a piece of gear is good.
I know why. You know what I mean?
But like, it's a, you know, it's a he does protest is too much type of thing.
But what I think would be really fun is to go into gear review.
With things I don't like truly don't know but but multitudes of them.
You know what I mean.
Or bigger things that I don't know and see what they how they really play out.
The problem with that of course is.
It's hard to do that.
When a brand approaches your you approach a brand and say hey let me review your thing and then you give an honest review and go well things sucks.
You know what I mean?
But I do feel compelled, I'll tell you that much, I do feel compelled to do that.
If you guys, you know, I don't know.
Look for that in the future though.
Because it really has left a sour taste in my stomach.
This idea that Americans are out there buying
this gear and they're getting a box like I got and I just can't in a time like this when money is so
tight and the world is so unhinged and you put your hopes and your dreams in this box
and what you wind up with is crap and you're like oh back to square one and now
I'm a hundred short. It kills me man. It kills me you know. There's something
about the American people in despair that it really hurts me when I think
about it. So you know I can do the ugly promo thing and tell you for
half the price of a pre-made crappy backpack,
you can get a membership at the Prepper Broadcasting Network, which really is your path back to
stability, in informational form and instruction form and course form and book form and even
contact.
You can even reach out to me. And you ask any member, any member who joins,
you get an introductory member email,
and one of the things I say is keep in touch
to all the members.
Some do, some don't, but I always put it
in that introductory email, keep in touch,
reach out if you have questions, to me.
You know what I mean?
I think that's about it for today, PB and family on the audio podcast side.
I may hop on later today and do a video, a nice long form.
What's inside the cash and nice, a nice dig into the S.H.T.F.
chef, one of those fun video jobs.
But in all honesty.
I've got to get cleaned up for that.
I'm still wearing
the same shirt I wore on last night's show so I can a long day's journey in
tonight thank you for everything folks and support Lima Tango survival while
we're on the subject of backpacks because like I said there's a lot of
unknown out there there's a lot of unknown out there. There's a lot of stuff out there, particularly on Amazon.
You get Lima Tango on Amazon now too.
I'll link to them down below as well.
There's a lot of stuff out there, you know.
All I can tell you about Lima Tango is it'll work.
It'll solve the problem for you and the gear in there will get it done.
I've touched it.
I've put hands on it.
I understand what it is. That's
the best I can do for you. You know? And if you don't value a pre-made kit, I'd highly
recommend you order just one pre-made kit and feel that feeling. You know? Feel the
feeling of this hole that I've added in my preparedness I can fill now. And I have filled
it and I've filled it with gear that's gonna make the difference you know. Alright folks I do appreciate you all
thanks for the patronage here at the Prepper Broadcasting Network members thanks for keeping
the lights on and yeah spread the word folks it's the only way we grow it's the only way
we stick around talk to you soon.
