Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to PBM. You're playing back the stability here. Welcome in PBN family. What is going on this morning? It is early. We have, uh, we got duties. We got duties to discuss this morning. Uh, let me clear away for a coffee cup here. So, if you were with us last year, this would be an old trick, but we're going to go over it anyway. If you're new, you see the video, you hear the podcast. What we're talking about today are the monthly routine trainings that we established last year to make you better prepared, to make you stronger,
Starting point is 00:01:07 to make you more effective in the real world. And I found that the only way that works is if you get on a routine. You know what I mean? There's a lot of resources and a lot of things people are going to throw at you in January to tell you if you do this, take this, eat this, swallow this, stick yourself with that. Right. What I found is, well, it's an old phrase that I coined a few years ago, and it is you are what you do every day. Right. You are what you do every day, right? You are what you do every day. And it, you know, it tells a lot about your problems, your successes, and so on. What makes you up on a day-to-day basis?
Starting point is 00:01:55 So today we're going to discuss in detail this Calm Within Chaos routine, which is the January routine for the month, and what all of it means. What do you do when you wake up on a day? What is it? What are you supposed to do? Figure out whether or not you want to get involved with it. If I were you, it wouldn't even be a question.
Starting point is 00:02:23 This routine is now a year old, and this thing is effective, man. This will take you all through the month of January and give you a lot of great things to do on a daily basis. The first thing you're going to notice is an alternate days A slash B with daily intermittent fast. Okay? You'll have to do the research on intermittent fasting. It's just taking a larger window between when you stop eating for the day and when you start eating for the day.
Starting point is 00:02:59 If you want a quick and easy solution, stop eating at 7, start eating breakfast at 9 a.m. It's a quick and easy intermittent fast. If you have that capability. I know some people don't have that capability. Some people go much longer. Some people go a heck of a lot longer. So what you see here is A day and B day, right? Saturday through Sunday or Sunday through Saturday, rather. If you don't want to do every day, do five days a week. Keep
Starting point is 00:03:39 Saturday and Sunday out of it for rest. You are what you do every day, but this is your routine, Sunday out of it for rest. You are what you do every day, but this is your routine, right? Do what the hell you want to do. You'll feel way better if you do three days out of the week than zero days out of the week. Feel real good if you do five days out of the week and you know what I'm saying? So some of this stuff you'll see explained down below, but we'll talk a little bit about it. talk a little bit about it. Each item, right? So if you're on A day, just say you started on B day on the first of the month. Second of the month, you went to A day. Third of the month, you're back to B, whatever. But we'll just say you're on A today. And what you're going to do here is kick off the whole thing with plank. I have to imagine most people are familiar with the exercise plank, right?
Starting point is 00:04:32 You could do it on your elbows. You could do it on your hands like you're in an extended push-up position, and what you're going to do is hold plank for one minute. Then you're going to go on a side plank, which can be up on one arm, or it can be turned to one side on one elbow. Left side plank for one minute, right side plank for one minute. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it's pretty effective. It's a pretty effective core exercise.
Starting point is 00:05:07 When I talk about core exercises, guys, I'm not as much worried about you getting a six-pack. I'm worried about your lower back not giving out when you're lifting things. I'm more worried about your intestines spilling through your abdominal wall, i.e. a hernia, right? All that stuff loses its strength over the years. And that's how these things happen. Cold exposure. This is winter. This is a good time to do the cold plunges, the cold showers, do the cold plunges, the cold showers, the cold runs outside in shorts and, you know, get in contact with cold on your skin. It builds adipose, uh, dark adipose tissue. I think it is. What is it? Dark brown fat or something like that. Um, it's healthy stuff. There's a lot of benefits to the cold. It sucks. I hate the cold. There's a lot of benefits to the cold.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Okay. The 50. The 50 is a little something that I came up with, and it's very simple. The 50 is basically three exercises. Your choice. We'll say push-ups, sit-ups, squats, all body weight, right? If you're going to do the 50, let's say that. And what you do is just 50 reps of each.
Starting point is 00:06:32 That's it. You could do it three times if you really want to get pumped on something like that. You could do it five times if you're crazy. But the 50. So you're going to commit to three exercises. And like I said, you can use, you can be whatever you want. You can use weights, you can do calisthenics, but you're going to do 50 reps of three exercises. Pause for coffee sip.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Wowee. Wowee that disaster coffee. Zip. Wowee. Wowee, that disaster coffee. Oh, my goodness. And then, of course, the gratitude prayer, which I recommend doing before bed at the end of the day, that kind of thing. And that is just time to thank God for everything you have. Period. Every little, For everything you have. Period. Every little minute detail. Every big amazing thing. But everything.
Starting point is 00:07:31 That you can think of. This is how I like to fall asleep. Is to just go over and list. You know what I mean. The cloud that I saw. The sunset. The fish that I caught. The laugh of my son. you know what I mean? Every little thing, every little thing, all the way up to the biggest things and down to the smallest.
Starting point is 00:07:55 All of these things combined are going to change your health and your mental wellness. It just will over time, but you got to do them consistently. If you consistently conduct a gratitude prayer in the evening, you have no choice but to get in a better mood. Because you'll start to look at all the good in your life instead of all the bad. All right, so you close your eyes, you wake up, you're on day B. Okay? You're on day B. What now?
Starting point is 00:08:24 Now what am I doing? Do you have a kettlebell? Maybe you don't have a kettlebell. This could be a thing. If you don't have a kettlebell, get a kettlebell. They're cheap and easy to get your hands on now, for real. I mean, they are so cheap and so easy to get your hands on. It's highly recommended. There's really no reason not to, in my opinion. Am I showing you guys this right now? No, okay. So, sorry, I'm priming something else to show you, something really cool. When we take a break from the routine before we go into the weekly. So day B, you're going to wake up, get your day started, whatever you need to do, 50 kettlebell cleans. Okay? 50 kettlebell cleans.
Starting point is 00:09:15 You'll have to look those up. If you are a member, you can look up the kettlebell cleans in the prep or fit and health. I'm pretty sure I got them in there. You can look up the kettlebell cleans in the prep or fit and health. I'm pretty sure I got them in there. If you are 100% unfamiliar with a kettlebell, you may want to do 50 kettlebell swings. A kettlebell clean is a little bit dangerous of a move, but it's a great one, man.
Starting point is 00:09:43 When I do kettlebell cleans, I don't do anything higher than 35 pounds. And I would highly recommend, unless you're really strong and really good with kettlebells, not to even consider anything higher than 25 pounds until you get good at it. Because kettlebell, for all its effectiveness, will tear your rotator cuff. It will ruin your elbow. It will ruin your wrist. It will break your arm. I mean, it's guys, particularly guys have a problem with kettlebells because they think that I should use a 50 pound kettlebell for everything. You're not going to use a 50 pound kettlebell for everything. Okay. Because kettlebells are a different thing. The movements are different.
Starting point is 00:10:22 First shot dry fire. Okay. One thing you're going to notice about our routines every year or every month there's always dry fire practice always i use the uh what the hell do i what was it that i call what is the thing called strike no i use the laser bullet target cell phone app i can't think of what it's called right now there's several of them out there I use the Laser Bullet Target cell phone app. I can't think of what it's called right now. There's several of them out there. It's not Mantis. It's no clue.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Can't draw. Completely drawing a blank right now. I have no clue what it's called. You don't need to use one of these laser bullet technologies. I like to measure my accuracy with this, with this first shot drive fire and i really like the laser bullet phone app measurements for me i just like them it's also really good to put targets around your own house i think makes you comfortable in case of home invasion i can't think of what it's called. First shot, dry fire, simple.
Starting point is 00:11:30 You carry your weapon, right? All the time, every day? I know you do. I know you do. You wouldn't listen to my network and then decide that it's a good idea that you don't. So, first shot, dry fire, real important. You got your gun in your holster.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Your gun comes out of your holster, goes on target. You take a shot back in the holster. Do it as many times as you want. First shot, fire, okay? Obviously, all the ammunition, we're doing dry fire, all the ammunition's out of the gun, all the ammunition's out of the chamber, all the ammunition's out of the magazine, right? Everything. Double, triple check. Don't put a hole in your wall.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Don't put a hole in your loved one. Dry fire's a really cool way to save money, really cool way to practice with your firearm every day. Okay, then we're going to get into the spirituality side of it. All right, you're going to sit down and read at least one page of Proverbs on day B. Okay, I have found that there are people who read Proverbs online. Kind of cool. Look it up on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:12:43 That might be something you want to do. And follow that up with meditation. Real legitimate meditation. You might meditate a prayer, whatever you want to do. But find a quiet place, a still, calm, quiet place that you can sit for, you know, five, ten minutes, silent. And just go over one of those proverbs in your head. Over and over and over. Like a mantra.
Starting point is 00:13:10 You know what I mean? Alright. Where are we at here? So we have these... We have these other... Yeah, that'll work. That's what I'm looking for. We have these other... Yeah, that'll work. That's what I'm looking for. We have these other items down at the bottom here. Weekly action items.
Starting point is 00:13:31 But I want to show you something first. This link to this post that I'm showing you is available in the show description. If you were on the mailing list, I already sent you this. If I were you, I would copy this routine here, copy the routine, paste it. I mean, not paste it, rather print it. Save it, print it. Then you got it every day to look at, okay? Then you got it every day to look at. And I think that's an important
Starting point is 00:14:05 thing to do. What we're going to get into real quick, kind of excited about this, that this guy, we're going to, we're going to chill out with the routine and training stuff. Really? I'm going to show you something cool. Met this guy on, uh, Instagram, maybe? Twitter? Twitter. And he's got stuff to show. He's got products to show. Good guy.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Talked to him for about an hour before we decided to put his products here on the Prepper Broadcasting Network. Limatangosurvival.com Okay. Limatangosurvival.com Now, you have to imagine. I don't know how many in a year.
Starting point is 00:14:57 But I get these guys coming to me with backpacks full of stuff. A lot. As you can imagine. A lot of guys come to me with backpacks full of stuff a lot, as you can imagine. A lot of guys come to me with backpacks full of stuff and say, hey, can you take my backpack full of stuff and put it on your show? And a lot of times I tell those guys, even when they're ready to spend money, nobody's going to buy your bag of stuff. Because I look at what's in the bag and I know that you guys look at what's in the bag and automatically go, that ain't happening. You know what I mean? See, this audience knows its stuff.
Starting point is 00:15:32 This audience is incredible. Well, when I started looking over the Lima Tango survival bags, what I quickly realized is the person who put this stuff together, What I quickly realized is the person who put this stuff together, he's paying attention. He's paying attention. He's out in the woods. He's been in a situation where he's had to use real shelter. You see the Moab 4 here? The Moab 4 comes with real tents.
Starting point is 00:16:05 These are closing Mylar tents. He even has a bag with, not just with hammocks, the Moab Black Ops bag here. This thing's not just with hammocks. This thing has two hammocks with bug nets with tarps. In fact, this kit right here, this is a two-man 72-hour survival kit. Okay? This kit right here showed me exactly why I wanted to talk to you guys
Starting point is 00:16:35 about Lima Tango survival. Now, he's got a bunch of kits at varying price levels. They're not all $995 like this Moab two-man kit. Pardon me. But this one's effective. This one, you take a close look. You see down here, you see Mountain House Food, right?
Starting point is 00:16:59 You see a high-quality food ration here. You see real gloves. Real gloves that you actually have to pick your size on the glove. See what I mean? You see what looks to be at least a similar knife in, a similar knife to a Gerber strong arm. You see real outerwear. If you're listening to what I'm saying about outerwear, about head coverage, about beanies, right? If you're listening to what I'm saying, a dry bag, these are things that you might hear and say, yeah, big deal. This is a sign of the type of person you're dealing with.
Starting point is 00:17:46 This is a person who's been in the rain. And we're going to have the creator on to talk to you guys so you can meet him and get his background and go, oh, okay, yeah. This is just our introduction to what they're offering over there at Lima Tango Survival. Check out the goggles. Check out socks. Have you ever seen a bag with socks in it? Have you ever seen a bag come with socks in it? I don't think I've ever seen that before.
Starting point is 00:18:17 So check them out for yourself. We've got an EDC fire kit, a personal hygiene kit from Lima Tango, a folding saw worth its weight in gold in wilderness survival. Like I said, I see a lot of these kits, man. I see a lot of these kits a lot of time. And a lot of them are priced around the same and not giving you hardly anything. But these guys, these are are nice the deuce is another
Starting point is 00:18:47 great kit check them out limatangosurvival.com okay limatangosurvival.com you'll be hearing about them here at the prepper broadcasting network and, man. Long talk with the creator, Bill. Long talk about how he came up with this stuff, how he developed all these kits, the things he had to consider, the things he decided to consider. I'm going to get a real one for you and show it off to you
Starting point is 00:19:18 in our Inside the Cash segment of the program. And then I'll do a further review for our Family Gear Members only side of things. But Lima Tango Survival, okay, give them a look. Give them a look. So we've got weekly things to do as well. You'll see things like review medical gear, review your preparedness master schedule. If you're not a member, you don't have a preparedness master schedule.
Starting point is 00:19:50 If you are a member, then you can go right to the website, pbnfamily.com, and download your preparedness master schedule. This is the time because now you schedule out your whole year. Okay? That is the routine, folks. that is the routine folks that is the deal if you're sitting around staring in the mirror or staring into the black mirror and asking yourself how am i going to get through this i'm so scared there's crazy i've seen people like posting things about some fog that came through like the step Stephen King mist minus the monsters.
Starting point is 00:20:29 If you're the type of person that's going to worry yourself half sick over terrorists and active shooters and wars and gangs and drugs and everything that could possibly go wrong, and what's in the food and what's in the water and what's am I eating micro right? This whole prepping movement. The secret to the whole thing. Is it's an anti-anxiety medication. For the modern age. Exactly what it is. Everything about it is.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Everything about it is anti-anxiety. Now, when I first started, preppers were the crazy, paranoid people who worried about things that would never happen. Now they all happened. So what happens is the more of this stuff that you do, the less you have to worry about. You do the calm within chaos routine, all of a sudden you're going to get much better with your gun.
Starting point is 00:21:30 You're going to get stronger. You're going to get much better from a mental health perspective because reading the Bible is the armor of God. Meditation will help you. Gratitude prayers will help you. Right? will help you. Gratitude prayers will help you, right? On top of that, you add to it an overall lifestyle of preparedness, right? Thinking about raising food, storing food, preserving food, having access to extra water, right? I don't have to go down the litany. Skills, resources, so on, managing both, getting better with both. This all equates to a deep sigh of relief when things go bad
Starting point is 00:22:14 and knowing that, okay, we're all right. We're going to be fine. We've got the things that we need. We've got the skills we need to deal with it. We've got a plan to get away from it. You'd be crazy not to be doing this stuff. It's absolutely insane. Stick with the Prepper Broadcasting Network, folks.
Starting point is 00:22:34 And yeah, I will talk to you guys soon. Carl B. will be up today at some point. I don't know. I didn't even check if he's got a new show coming or not today. Like I said, I'm just coming out of the woods. And listen to Preppers Live from last night. Amazing show. Absolutely incredible show between Dave Jones and I discussing training and threats and just all kinds of stuff. Preps for 2025, you name it. I'll talk to you soon, folks.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Visit pbnfamily.com, all right? See ya.
