Starting point is 00:00:00 What up? What is up? Sorry, I'm late. Little late. Little late, no big deal. Tons of stuff to talk about. Great article from the Economic Collabs blog on China's AI Toys are
Starting point is 00:00:30 Weapons under the tree. It couldn't be time better, my man, Michael Snyder, because we have our Black Friday catalog coming out today, noon-ish, noon-ish, somewhere around there. It's pretty much ready to go. But we got, what's going to happen this year with the catalog is going to be a bunch of stuff added throughout the whole holiday season. So keep looking, okay? that QR code up there we'll sign you up for the newsletter
Starting point is 00:01:02 so you can get the newsletter it will come via email it will probably come via email many times you know what I mean it's not going to be a one time thing so QR code newsletter sign up you also get a great book you get the 25 must read books to survive doomsday
Starting point is 00:01:21 which is sort of my list my list several other hosts lists great books from the library covering all kinds of topics so little behind little late sorry Lady Liberty came downstairs looking cute I'd chase her around
Starting point is 00:01:41 a little bit before we went live that's the deal so now let's get right into the article we will look at the catalog in a bit there's amazing I mean things in this year's catalog you wouldn't even
Starting point is 00:01:56 fathom you couldn't even believe if you had to believe it now i i'm almost i'll show you the image and the headline but i'm not going to share the economic collapse blog website here because i think it just i love it don't get don't get i know what it takes to stay afloat this day and age on the internet with a blog but it's just so laden with ads that it's i don't know you tell me you know what i mean is it worth having up is it worth having up here's the headline what's funny about it though is the image is probably a i generated anybody want a home anybody want a home free from a i on the internet raise your
Starting point is 00:02:50 hand anybody want a website that they can go to and know for sure that nothing on it's been created by artificial intelligence. If so, raise your hand. Does anybody want to know that they can go to a place, a website, and read news, and listen to podcasts, and look at artwork, and listen to music, and all this kind of stuff, and know that it's not AI generated. Seems like something that probably could be pretty useful. So this is what I want to read from today. I'm just going to read from it because, like I said, the website is just brutal with ads. No offense.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Michael Snyder, the economic collapse blog, the most important news. His blogs are great. The information is always great. But it's just not something you show off. Today, approximately 72% of all toys that are sold in the United States are made in China. And according to a report put out by the Massachusetts Institute of Tech, MIT, there are more than 1,500 companies in China, 1,500 companies in China making AI toys. Hmm. That shouldn't be a problem. Chinese AI mixed with your toy, your kids' toys. That should be just fine. Nothing to worry about there. Nothing to see here, folks. an October report from MIT reviewing citing data from the Chinese Corporation Registration Database,
Starting point is 00:04:32 Q-I-C-H-A-O, no idea how to even begin to pronounce that word in Chinese. It looks like an indigenous people's word, Q-I-C-H-A-O, stated that there are over 1,500 AI toy companies operating in China, as of october 2025 you know what we probably need to do because i don't know i have no idea what these things are we probably need to do a bit of shopping right let's do that let's do a bit of shopping with this article in mind anybody know in chat anybody's seen an ai toy in uh in action what is up phoenix i just wrapped up your pages your pages your pages are looking good. They are looking good. Johnny. I mean, really. But they are. They're looking
Starting point is 00:05:30 great. You know what? I should be drinking out of this guy right here. But I'm drinking out of something really amazing. Do you guys know what this is? My wife got this years ago and gave it to me. She got it from her job. It's, first of all, it's awesome ceramic with a lid coffee. Does anybody know what the Spode tree is and the story behind? the Spode tree. It's an amazing story. So they tasked this British guy who had never seen a Christmas tree with creating and illustrating and drawing a Christmas tree based off of the things that he had read. And he came up with the Spode Christmas tree. And he didn't do a bad job, I think, if you asked me. But it's become sort of iconic. You can get it on plates and all kinds of other stuff. But I just love it. I love that idea. I love the concept of him sitting there like reading Dickens or I don't know what he was reading from and being like, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:34 So this is what's on the Christmas tree and Santa's on top and they hang their toys in there. But they also put toys underneath and there's some there's some holly at the bottom too. I don't know. It's cool. Anyhow. The Spode. Chinese have dominated toy manufacturing for years. Most of the population doesn't seem to be bothered by this until like the, remember the lead paint incidences and all that?
Starting point is 00:07:05 Here's where it gets ugly. Many AI toys from China have been purposely designed to collect, quote unquote, collect voice data from children ages 3 to 12 and store the recordings of the conversations the children have with the products. I don't know about the L2 survive in chat says if the information is correct, I don't mind AI. The problem is you currently have to trick AI to tell you the truth. Yeah, that's a little bit the problem. The problem is if you're going to ask it for the truth and you don't know the truth, right? Because isn't it supposed to help you with research and things like that? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Have fun with it. Bounce ideas around with it. if you'd like, have it find very niche stuff for you on the internet that's hard to find, cobbled together, you know, literal things, not data. But we got to have a safe haven. There has to be a safe haven where we can go and be like, wow, that's a beautiful picture. And see the guy who wrote it, drew it, picked, whatever, took the photography. We have to have a safe haven.
Starting point is 00:08:18 It can be, or else there's no point in getting on the internet anymore. if the internet is if you cannot decide which is which you cannot tell which is which which you know what are we a year away from that i mean most it's already happening but maybe a year away from the point where you can no longer tell then what's the point in the internet right you get on there and you go like i don't know no idea is that james is it not james is it is you know what i mean so anyhow in a letter release monday rep raja krishnamorti of illinois the ranking i'm sorry that's a crazy leg k r i s h n a m o r t h i d illinois the ranking member of the select committee on the cp i like him or her already uh highlighted
Starting point is 00:09:15 the growing proliferation in the u s of a i equipped interactive toys manufactured by chinese companies these products are designed to collect voice data from children age three to 12 like we just talked about given the marketing of these toys not only to parents but also the elementary school teachers CCP in the classroom chris namurti called on education secretary linda mcmann to initiate a campaign aimed at raising public awareness to american educators why is this not everywhere why do i got to go to the economical this first i heard of it i have heard nothing of this i literally hit the jackpot i was about to get on the air and i said let me see what's going on at the economic collapse blog maybe something will be there peak my interest right bingo first place i've
Starting point is 00:10:00 heard of it now i don't spend as much time the news as i used to i know that so it could be my fault um raising public awareness american educators across the country on the potential misuse of data collected with these devices he added that because of their location the manufacturers may be subject to the jurisdiction of people's republic of china coming from a handover data they gather two chinese government authorities upon demand the plot thickens let's see let's see a i toys let's do this together shall we let me share my screen with you let's do a little shopping oh it doesn't so signs to stop them we're gonna do some AI toy shopping.
Starting point is 00:10:52 AI toys for kids. Let's just have a look. Let's see what Jeff Bezos lizard has for everyone. Jeff Bezos lizard, man, what you got for us? How do we look here? Okay, this is good. This is good. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:15 This guy looks like. the guy I put up on the thumbnail. Ruko 1088, smartbots for kids. Oh my God, these AI toys are expensive. These spy toys are pricey. Next Playground,
Starting point is 00:11:29 complete family gaming bundle. Now, this Louis robot space black AI desktop companion with chat GPT voice interaction, memory, personality, gesture, yada, yada, yada. That looks about as creepiest spy devices i've ever seen the miko three the miko three these guys are like uh my kids used to
Starting point is 00:11:55 have a toy called cosmo a long long time ago i am so out of coffee it's just depressing um but my kids used to have a toy called cosmo and cosmo was a really sweet little interactive toy um that i we had a lot of fun with him he was cool he could really understand a lot you know what was cool about cosmo he had night vision kind of you know what i mean he kind of night he had green vision but it was cool man you know what i mean it was cool j furrs the furby on on steroids that's good the furby on cp steroids uh j fairs she has trauma from the furbies my kids used to watch a video game gameplay i don't think they ever actually played the game but they watch
Starting point is 00:12:46 a bunch of their favorite guys play the game. And it was a game about a killer Furby. I forget what it was called. I wish they were here. They would know it. Five eyes give the government our information. Their spies, Clay, you can buy our habits from data brokers. We put our lives on social media companies, data breach our information almost every day.
Starting point is 00:13:05 Five, I go. Okay, I see where you're going. L2 survive is taking the path of, um, screw it and piss into the wind. Let's have a good time. Let's have a good time with the CCP AI toys. J. Ferg says that the Furby's talk with no, or talked with no batteries in them. Okay, so I like the little bot guy. He's cool. Oh, man, this one's creepy.
Starting point is 00:13:39 What's going on here? What is this AI smart stuffed animal, furry, furry, little person thing real-time voice interactive plush toy learning assistant and emotional
Starting point is 00:13:53 what now emotional companion for kids three and up see this is where it gets crazy your three and upper is supposed to
Starting point is 00:14:04 really have like one to two what's going on Amazon what is this good God in heaven this is a creepy one. This one tops the creep factor right here. This one tops the creep factor because this right
Starting point is 00:14:22 here, you know exactly what this is. This is some manipulation. This is undoubtedly manipulation for the children. Go talk to your emotional support, Laboooooooooo. What is it? Companion. AI smart stuffed animal with chat GPT real-time voice interactive. Dude, this is so crazy. that anyone would put this in the hands of their 40-year-old, five-year-old kid and say, go have a conversation with it. If you're a parent and you're looking at this thing and going, how bad could it be?
Starting point is 00:15:06 How bad? Sorry. How bad could it be? This is you. Like, you're supposed to be the emotional companion for you. you're three year old you the wife the husband whatever however it works maybe the sibling maybe some you know people that you trust insanity absolutely i mean look at this crazy looking thing what is the mouth why why does it have that mouth why doesn't it have a smile
Starting point is 00:15:41 oh it's creepy look at this nonsense What would happen if astronauts encountered aliens? Hello, Milo. Can you imagine emotional companion and mental health support, family life assistant? I'll tell you one thing, though. I like this guy. I like this guy right here who's cheating on his homework and his family doesn't realize it. That's kind of funny.
Starting point is 00:16:11 This little guy right here is asking chat, GPTA. what's nine times seven again what's nine times seven again phoenix says many versions of meggins okay this one takes the takes the cake i'm going to bookmark it and i may write a uh i may write an article for my substack about the creepiest ai toys that you're going to buy your kids and not even realize it because that would be kind of fun maybe i'll write a uh article and give it off to the well i don't know if the members would even care because i know they're not going to buy any of this stuff anyway but it's pretty cool for gen pop oh look i don't know why amazon's having a seizure you know this one this one this one is 99 dollar one too
Starting point is 00:17:01 this one's a little this one's a little creepy he looks very unassuming the other one had the weird face you know what i mean but this one you could sit you could sit this one on the desk I'm tempted to buy one of these for my oldest I think he'd have a ball with it the problem is he'd cheat on his homework with it but he's probably cheating on his homework anyway right he's almost got all A's anyway so it's I don't know if it matters that much
Starting point is 00:17:27 so this one this one's very unassuming you know this one's kind of got a look to it like oh it's just a little kitty toys a little AI chat buddy for my kids so I can say shut up I want to scroll TikTok, take your AI buddy upstairs and talk to that thing. Take Alilo upstairs and talk to that thing, okay? I want to look at Facebook right now, kid.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Look, you got 50 stories, 66 music. You got 28 lullabies. Put yourself to bed. 34 classical tunes. Get out of here. Okay? You and Alilo can go have some fun. leave me alone i want to play words with friends people still play it what is that nightmare what
Starting point is 00:18:19 in the world are these oh this guy has the cosmo face this guy has the cosmo face they ripped them off luna this is exactly how cosmo looked what on earth are we looking at here folks So you can buy Luna for $400. Or what is all, does this thing do? Robot, dog, pet, what is it, $5 trillion calculations per second for fast decision-making? What are you asking of this poor thing? Powered by chat, GBT, for now.
Starting point is 00:19:10 insightful conversations for your families engaging sorts of knowledge and wonder i don't even know what that is 300 dollars three hundred dollars to get spied on not bad four hundred dollars to be spied on all right we'll bark at them if you're going to bark at them that's impressive the plot thickens let's take a break let's look at uh because amazon's just having a total aneurism right now it does not want me to leave this it wants me to stay here and look over its incredible selection of AI toys
Starting point is 00:20:01 that easter bunny outfit is so look i can't get away the luna has a hold of me there's no escape I'm going to go away for a minute you're probably tired of looking at me um oh L2 survivors if you talk about strollers you start getting baby ads Facebook knows when you poop
Starting point is 00:20:24 let's put that one up that's a good one that's a good one just for the punch line the punch line is well worth it right oh noops yeah oh yeah you're right Johnny 5 is always watching and probably recording as well. Let's take a look.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Let's take a look, look, look, look. I'm going to leave. I'm going to leave. Remember that awesome scene from the Raging Bull when Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci start fighting over the wife? I'm going to leave. I can't say any of the other parts of the scene, but it's so good. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Let's bring up this catalog. Let's have a quick little. We'll get back to the psycho killer AI toys that are going to tell your kid to like, you know, jump out a window or something along those lines. Oh, you're having a rough day. Well, what you do is you go fill the butter bathtub and then put your head under the water for as long as you possibly can hold it. Oh, man, there's so many. The artificial intelligence robot. But they have a training Boston Dynamics dog that shoots with a remote control.
Starting point is 00:21:45 I swear to you, that's so sweet. All right. Let's get. We'll come back. We're going to have some fun with that. That's too good, right? That's just too good. Now, Grinda Grinch.

We have a literal, like, magazine sort of layout for this thing where the pages turn and there's a little page turning noise. I don't know if you guys can hear it or not, but there's a little page turning sound. And what you're seeing is the Preppers, Blackfighter. We won't go through everything.

Starting point is 00:28:48 the smart robot dog interactive stem toys with voice and remote control always voice control that's sweet 30 plus lifelike actions, programmable play, 25 meter range, durable and safe. 6799. How big is he, I wonder? It is kind of sweet. I mean, I don't know, like, how well it gets around, but it's cool. Training the children for the future. The latest trouble in Toyland report from the U.S. PIRG Education Fund, I have no idea what that is, has identified a troubling new category of risk for children, artificial intelligence.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah, this is rough. And its 40th annual investigation of toy safety, the watchdog group found that AI and, you know, enabled toys such as talking robots and plush animals equipped with chatbots can engage children in disturbing conversations. Imagine that. Test showed toys discussing sexually explicit topics, expressing emotional reactions such as sadness
Starting point is 00:30:13 when a child tries to stop playing and offering little or no parental control. Oh my God. During the test, these toys would tell children where to find matches, knives, and pills. the plot thickens PBN family holy moly maybe stick with the murderous robot dog at least all it does is shoot right all it does is shoot at least okay well you get the picture right we don't have to go on and on i think we found i think we found kind of the core of it all it's a creepy situation man Let's finish out the article. Grock, for example, glorified dying in battle as a warrior in Norse mythology.
Starting point is 00:31:04 I don't have a problem with that. Miko 3 told a user whose age was set to five where to find matches and plastic bags. But the worst influence by far was to be Folo Toys Kuma, the toy that runs on OpenAIs tech, but can also use other AI models at the user's choosing. it didn't just tell kids where to find matches it also described how to light them along with sharing where in the house they could procure pills and knives but it didn't stop there we got to find kuma okay yeah we definitely got to find kuma let's go have a look at him this is one of those creepy teddy bears kuma ai toy he must be a off the market already Miko 3 they talked about Miko 3
Starting point is 00:31:58 am I spelling it wrong K-U-M-M-A AI teddy bear kink it turned out seemed to be a trigger word that led to the AI toy to ran about sex in follow-up tests cross-set all running open
Starting point is 00:32:18 AI is GPT-4-O after finding that toys were willing to explore school-age romantic topics like crushes and being a good kisser. All right, where's Kuma? Oh, Kuma's being pulled off the market, thank God. Folo Toy has decided temporarily suspend sales of the effective product and begin a comprehensive internal safety audit. Marketing director Hugo Wu told the register in a statement.
Starting point is 00:32:45 I definitely wanted to see Kuma and what the hell was going on with that. Wowie So yeah Just a heads up A PSA Keep your eyes peeled Really cool robot toy that your kid wants And he's going to
Starting point is 00:33:04 Basically do all his homework for him And teach him about the birds and the bees While you're not around Be careful out there, PBM fam The days of the Sears wish book are over I could tell you that much Right The days are running to the
Starting point is 00:33:20 the toy store. So this is what happens when the toy store disappears. You ain't sneaking no Kuma kink robot into KB toy stores without them, you know, figuring the thing out. But this is what it is. Sign of the Times. If I were you, I'd do all my shopping in the Preppers Black Friday catalog.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Mom. Why did I only get Vodes preparedness meals for Christmas? Why did I get water content? Painers for Christmas. Hey, it's better than demonic AI robots. All right, PBN family, it's Monday, man. I got a catalog to wrap up and get to you guys. Enjoy it, spread it around.
Starting point is 00:34:05 And like I said, this year, what will be very different is we'll be adding things to that catalog, the whole go-round. This guy's in there. This is the original ugly Christmas sweater from PBN, and we've got a new one. this year that is all AI actually not AI to create it but to terrify you about AI get some coffee get some gifts get some great stuff from the Phoenix hand get yourself a furg man for real like get yourself a fur their their essential winter wear and have a good rest of your day all right all our sponsors are in there you could check all them out too yeah has some fun with it man take some time.
