Bokane Valley could become a sanctuary city of a different kind.
The name Councilman Caleb Collier says that this proposal is,
the city of Spokane Valley, issue of proclamation stating that our city is a Second Amendment sanctuary.
Today on Church and State, Christian nationalism was more dangerous than we thought.
Hello Christian Patriots and welcome to Church and State, where we drive morality and religion over tolerance and apathy.
And I'm your host, Caleb Collier, once again, your favorite far-right shock jock,
and the show that talks about politics and religion.
Jesus Christ is our referee, so it's always nice and clean.
Now, of course, you know the drill.
You're going to go to church and state.
dot media so you can do a number of things here.
Number one, that registration form is so important so that I can talk to you.
Ladies and gentlemen, I really want to drill down into this because censorship is a real thing.
And with the content that I am constantly covering some of the guests that I bring on,
it's a real risk.
One of the platforms decides, hey, we're going to cancel him.
I mean, it's already happened to me before YouTube literally took our channel completely off.
And we used to have thousands upon thousands of people on our YouTube channel.
That hurt.
So it's important for you to fill this out so that if, by some small chance,
and I hope you can hear the sarcasm dripping off my voice,
but some small chance, censorship comes a lot.
and church and state is no longer allowed on so many of the platforms that we could literally email you
the episodes. All right. So fill this out, give us your name, email, and phone number. And of course,
also, you're going to get a personal phone call from me. So that's always a pleasurable experience.
Just ask my mother. With that, let's go over and check out some of the latest episodes. There's always
great ones out there. I want you to check these out and share them with friends, family, and neighbors.
and of course the featured guest list,
which is continuing to grow all of the time.
I mean, we just had author A.J. Rice, for some of you, actually,
because this is going to be out of order.
That'll be up and coming.
But we got some great people that continue to want to be on the show,
which is kind of funny to me, Chris, I thought as I got more and more outspoken,
as my libertarianism came out more and more,
and I just stopped caring what, you know,
if I ran a foul of the magabot,
movement or something. I thought less people would want to come on the show. That's not the case.
Weird. Isn't that weird? I don't get it. I don't understand it. Maybe I need to be more offensive.
Is that the key, Chris, should be more offensive? Maybe we should go that direction.
Really? I expected. Push the envelope. I expected some pushback from you on that one. No?
I mean, what's it going to get worse? It can't get any worse, right?
I love it. Anyway, while you're there, also proves through some of the wonderful affiliate programs,
it's a great way for you to get some needful items, some wonderful things. And of course, I'm going to
talk about that more towards the end of the show, but for all of them, use the promo code,
Church and State. And please, please hit the donate button. I get so tired. I get so tired of saying
it all the time. But we are part of great networks, Prepper Broadcasting Network, NRBTTV. We're part
so many great ones.
There's another one that I'm talking to right now.
They are interested in bringing us onto AMFM radio,
all up and down the eastern seaboard,
but they want money for that.
Money that I don't necessarily have right now.
So if you'd like to see more people listening to yours truly,
please hit the donate button for us.
Lastly, if you want to get a hold of us,
Church and State 1776 at Proton.me.
And with that,
buckle up.
This is going to be fun.
Christian nationalism is more dangerous than we thought.
What a show title, Chris.
You know one of the things we are pretty good about on the show is those show titles, like clickbait.
We got some pretty good clickbait-worthy stuff, right?
I think we do all right.
Yeah.
There seems to be a science to it that I haven't quite mastered.
I got to tell the story, Chris.
You're going to like this.
We now have a social media manager on Church and State, which is very, very helpful because I cannot live on social media.
But she's been incredibly helpful.
I was in a meeting with her, and she's young.
She's like in her early 20s.
And she says to me, I don't want to be offensive.
She didn't know who she was talking to, apparently.
But she says, I don't want to be offensive, but you are older.
So do you, are you familiar with the term rage bait?
And I said, yes, yes, I am actually familiar with the term rage bait.
She goes, you're really good at it.
I love it.
Apparently, I'm very good at rage baiting.
All right.
So with that, let's talk about something a little bit more local to me in the Spokane area,
or maybe specifically Washington, although fans of Church and State are going to know.
I love.
This episode is brought to you by Spreaker.
The platform responsible for a rapidly spreading condition known as podcast brain.
Symptoms include buying microphones you don't need, explaining RSS feeds to confused relatives,
and saying things like, sorry, I can't talk right now, I'm editing audio.
If this sounds familiar, you're probably already a podcaster.
The good news is Spreaker makes the whole process simple.
You record your show, upload it once, and Spreaker distributes it everywhere people listen.

To hate on Washington State. I do. I love to hate on Washington State.
Anyway, my state senator, actually, Senator Leonard Christian, receives backlash after using a slur
during state senate floor session. What did you do? All right, we've got a Washington State
Senator from Spokane Valley.
backlash after using a slur for developmentally disabled people while debating a state program.
Senator Leonard Christian used a slur for disabled people while arguing against House Bill 1390.
This is what he says.
And I quote, the folks that were responsible for were putting rapists in with retarded people.
Oh man, he said the retarded word.
You can't do that, right?
We still have elements of cancel culture, even though there are people who are saying that the word is back,
that we can actually say the word retard now.
And honestly, just from a medical standpoint, I've told you before, a former EMT, mentally retarded
used to be the word, how we describe these individuals, and it fell out of favor, okay?
And you can weigh in either way.
Is it more appropriate?
Is it more humane, I suppose, to call them developmentally disabled?
Okay, you can make that argument for sure.
But I have a little insight on this.
Okay.
The House Bill 1390 proposes ending the community protection program that provides services for people with developmental disabilities who also have a history of violent behavior.
So basically what they're doing, they want to throw them all into the same facilities.
Okay.
So you can have developmentally disabled people who have predatory behaviors, people who, even though they are mentally deranged a little bit, they're praying on individuals and can engage in sexual molestation or.
rape and things like that. And we're throwing them in with people who, um, unfortunately are getting
molested. And Leonard Christian is right about this. He should, we should oppose something like this.
We should be protecting people who, uh, potentially are vulnerable here. And I don't even like
Leonard Christian. I got to tell you, as somebody who's been in politics locally here for a long time,
I, I, how do I word this properly, Christian? I, I really, really, really dislike.
Leonard Christian. Is that acceptable to say? Can I say that? I really don't think so, actually.
Really? You're supposed to love Leonard and dislike his policy. No, I don't like the man. I don't like
him as an individual. I know him personally, and I don't like him. And that's okay for me to say.
But here's the thing. I'm going to be consistent. I stand behind Leonard Christian.
I stand behind. I stand alongside Leonard Christian on this issue, even though I don't like the man.
I think that's important. It's a really important distinction for us. We don't necessarily have to like the individual.
If they're right, they're right. Okay. And I do want to caution individuals who, oh, just because maybe you're a Democrat and you're listening to this show.
And you're like, I don't like Leonard Christian because there's a Republican. Okay. Stop it.
I don't like him for personal reasons, okay?
But is he right about this?
100%.
He is right about this.
We should not be housing individuals
who are developmentally disabled, okay,
who are, and a lot of times very childlike.
And then we're going to house them
with somebody who's a predator.
Wrong.
We should want to protect people.
No matter if you can view them as a criminal or not,
we still want to protect those individuals.
Okay, so you could.
love him, you can hate him, you can dislike him, but he's right about this. And we should let
the power in Olympia know that we're posed to this House bill 1390, among other so many,
so many other bad bills coming out of Washington State. All right, with that, let's move over.
I think I've spent enough time on that one. But I want to talk about something. I actually heard
on the news today, and boy, did it make me chuckle. Made me laugh. It wasn't the
Mario Day, Chris. Apparently today with March 10th, if you just do Mar and 10, you get Mario,
and so it's a Mario day. Do do, do, do do do do. That was a great video game. It was a great
video game. Come on. All time classic. Can you imagine pitching that. You go to Nintendo. You're like,
we got this new idea for a video game. Okay, we got two Italian plumbers with big, big mustaches.
And what they do is they're going to fight against this like dragon dinosaur to rescue this princess that we named Peach because we couldn't come up with a better name.
And they smash bricks and they eat magic mushrooms that make them grow.
And the Nintendo's like, this is brilliant.
And the dragon has an army of turtles.
Turtles, yeah.
You can stomp on and throw it people.
Somebody was on some drugs.
Drugs were involved here, Chris.
It is obviously the conclusion here.
Drugs were involved, but the world ate it up.
Okay?
That's a weird one.
It's definitely a weird one.
Anyway, I'm listening to the news, and a commercial comes on for canceling solar contracts.
Chris, I knew this was going to be a thing.
I knew this was going to happen.
Did you know this?
Are you psychic?
No.
Not a prophet.
either. But I knew this was going to happen because what did we see? All right, we saw under specific
administrations a massive push for solar and everybody. You could. Just go back in time,
ladies and gentlemen. You go back, you're building the house, or maybe you're remodeling the
house. And what did they pitch to you? Put some solar panels on the roof. This is going to be
great for us. All right? Not only are you going to be generating power, but you're in
to generate so much power that you can actually sell it back to the power companies.
You'll be paying nothing.
You can sell it back.
You'll actually make money on the fact that you're going to install all these solar panels
onto your house.
And the public was like, eat it up.
And then you got the administrations of Obama and Biden.
What were they doing?
They were taking taxpayer dollars, my money, your money.
And, of course, offering these fantastic rebates.
If you were going to make your home, a green energy star home, which is kind of
It makes me angry.
I don't want to live in a green home.
Do you like green homes, Chris?
I don't like green homes.
I probably would go with like brown or blue or...
I'm not talking about the paint color, Chris.
Oh, I thought you were talking about a green...
Not the paint color.
No, not at all.
I'm talking about all these little gimmicks and gadgets that they come out with to make your home.
They reduce all the power.
You got the low...
shower heads. Have you ever been in a low flow shower, Chris?
A no flow shower? Yeah, yeah. It's like a drizzle on you. You got to like come all in,
get real, real close to the showerhead, the tiles cold, you're like touching it. You're like,
ah, yeah, right? And then the water's just drizzling on you and you're like,
this is miserable. It's the worst. I want showers so powerful. They might take off the skin.
That's what I like.
Okay, so yeah, I was totally against all of this green stuff.
But then the technology just wasn't there, was it?
It's like all the rebates you were getting for getting an electric car.
And suddenly people were stuck for hours trying to charge their cars
a little trip that they were going to go visit grandma across the street.
And now they're stuck in a city halfway across the state and they're like,
well, we've got to charge for six hours.
how fun. This is going to be great. The technology wasn't there. And so now we're seeing the commercials
come out. If you've been a victim, I love these. You too can get out of your solar contract.
Why is this an issue? Well, I looked into it, okay? Main reasons why individuals are trying to get out of
their solar contracts. Okay, solar leases or finance contracts complicating home sales. Who knew? That's right. When you
jump on board and suddenly it's $40,000 or something to install these solar panels into your house?
And guess what? The amount of energy you're selling back to the power company, it's not all that
much money. They never want to talk about the details, but the devil is, of course, in those details.
Yeah, you're getting a few bucks here or there, not really paying off that $40,000 investment into the solar panels.
and then you want to sell the house
and a potential buyer's coming in there
and they're going, you know,
the market ain't what it used to be,
the interest rates are kind of high,
your house,
we were already going to lowball you a little bit
because we're right at the upper level
of what we can afford,
but you also have these solar panels
and there's a contract associated with the house,
so now I've got to take out even more money
to pay off those solar panels,
I no longer want your house.
Or let's go and negotiate.
Perhaps you have to continue to pay off those solar panels.
So it's disrupting the housing market.
Interesting things.
So, of course, people are going to want to get out of those solar contracts.
Diminishing savings due to escalating payments or other factors.
Leases frequently include annual rate increases.
this rate interest rate increases for the loan you took out to put in that green movement energy,
the solar energy panels.
Suddenly the price is increasing.
Oh, man, they never told you that, did they?
Misleading or predatory sales practices, I've already discussed that.
You've seen it coming.
You knew, well, you didn't know.
You were sold to go to a bill of sales.
Yeah, you didn't see it.
But especially the individuals that were all up.
about it. You were driving around and your Subaru route back and you felt really good about yourself
because you also had solar panels on your house. Turns out it wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
Poor system performance. Oh, that's right. These things don't actually work all that well,
do they? No, in fact, they don't work very well at all. And in fact, if you look at the landfills
all across really the world, you're going to see a lot of these solar and wind-powered,
contraptions that are littering the garbage floors.
So good job on that one.
It all leads to this.
It all leads to now companies.
The free market has entered into it, shocker, trying to save it.
The free market has entered into it.
And now there's literally a market for individuals who are trying to get out of their solar panels.
And I, for one, I'm thrilled.
I'm happy. I'm applauding it. Chris, is it mean of me? Or is it just that I saw the trends that
were coming our direction? And I knew it was only a matter of time. Yeah. Kudos. Okay. Kudos to me.
Applaus myself, pat myself on the back. Don't worry. I'll see something else coming into the
future that I will be talking about soon. And once again, remember, not a profit because I don't think
they exist anymore.

All right, with that, let's move on to something else.
And it's kind of, the rest of the stories, the rest of what I'm going to be talking.
talking about really kind of move with the direction of the show title.
As Christian nationalism more dangerous than we thought.
I have a video from an individual who's really, really become quite the cat's meow, as I
were.
He seems to be everywhere.
Everybody's interviewing him.
His name is Professor Zhang.
I hope I'm pronouncing that correctly.
But he has a video here where he explains a different perspective from something.
that we've been told pretty much in all of our Christian walks.
What does he have to say?
Well, let's go ahead and hear it.
Go ahead, Chris.
And so they keep on the fight, even though they've lost the war against the Romans,
they will go into the Arabian desert where they will incubate a new religion called
Islam, and they will prophesize the coming on the Messiah, who will turn out to be
Muhammad, right?
So at this point in history, the Jews must leave Jerusalem because the Romans basically
kick them out and their religion was splintered into many different factions and
as we discussed what will happen is those Jews were most fanatical they will
escape into the urban desert and they will incubate Islam and eventually Islam
will conquer the world at this point they feel as though they've achieved the
Mesoenic age and they have returned to the Jerusalem
Now, the Jews believe that in the Mesoenian age, the Messiah will come, lead them to victory,
bring all the Jews back to Jerusalem, and build the third temple, and actually in the Mesoenic age.
And that's what they believe happened.
And so this is the Al-Axic mosque in Jerusalem, and this is meant to be the third temple.
Over time, what happened is what they would change it to become a center of Islamic worship.
But in the beginning, it was really the third temple.
That is an interesting take.
That is not one that I've actually ever heard before.
And for those of you who may struggle with accents, look, I'm not throwing stones.
I am the same way.
My wife knows this about me.
If somebody starts speaking in an accent, I just look at her.
Like, what did they say?
Chris, are you with me on that?
I understood every word.
Oh, did you?
Never mind.
Chris is better than I am.
Me?
It could be years of shooting guns.
my time in the Marine Corps, playing in punk rock bands.
My hearing ain't so good.
My kids tease me about this all the time.
What?
My wife loves to do this to me, Chris.
She'll start a conversation,
and then she'll turn her back on me and walk away as she's still speaking.
Oh, yeah, that's great.
Isn't that great?
I'm like, what?
This is how I get dragged into things.
I have no idea about.
She'll be like, I told you.
I told you this.
I'll be like, I don't remember that at all.
I think she's figured me out.
She's doing it intentionally.
Anyway, Professor Zhang says Islam was created by Jews.
He says Jews invented Islam after they were expelled from Jerusalem by the Romans and fled into Arabia.
He says Muhammad was actually the Jewish Messiah.
And he says that the mosque, the Dome of the Rock, is actually the Jewish third temple.
That is absolutely fascinating to me.
I don't necessarily know if I completely agree with him.
But it's a take that I have never heard before.
And because of that, I wanted to bring it to my audience.
What say you on this?
Could it be?
I mean, certainly we look at this biblically, right?
We have Abraham.
And, you know, the two seeds of Abraham and they go two very different directions.
Anybody who knows the Bible knows this.
And within one, we have basically what becomes the creation of Islam.
And the other, obviously, is the continuation of the Jewish seed.
And so, yes, we can see.
that they are directly tied by anybody who reads the Bible.
But then we have the Romans who expel the Jews
and then the rise of Islam.
And if the Jews actually created Islam
and they're the ones that are constantly pushing
this rebuilding of the third temple
and certainly have fooled the dispensationalists,
as I've covered on previous shows,
to the importance of this,
could the Dome of the Rock actually
be the Third Temple with the discussions that are currently happening right now we've had within
the dispensational crowds everybody believes there's got to be some type of cataclysmic event for
the dome of the rock maybe an errant missile from the Iranians comes and actually accidentally
hits the dome of the rock and it blows it up and then the Jews can start rebuilding the third
temple we have individuals who say well the location is actually the wrong spot so if you move
a little bit to the east or the west or whatever direction it is,
that you could actually build the third temple right next to the Dome of the Rock.
You have all of these different theologians and people who study eschatology
who have promoted these different ideas.
But what if the Dome of the Rock is actually the Third Temple?
That's mind-blowing.
That could radically transform the discussions they were currently having
in Christian and Jewish circles.
Like I said, I don't know if I necessarily agree with what he's saying, but it's certainly an interesting take.
With that, let's move over to something else.
And once again, I find myself in the position where I have to reiterate something that I really don't want to, because I'm tired of it.
But man, you guys, I've got to tell you.
As of late, I don't even know if you saw this, Chris, the Owen Schroier show that we did.
This guy came on, onto X.
And he wrote something.
It was like, it was massive.
Just calling Owen and I liberals.
And just, he had a lot of other choice words that I will not repeat.
But he just went off on us.
We're paid by the government.
And we're liberals.
But I'm like, but wait a minute.
This administration isn't liberals.
So we're getting paid by the government.
I'm having a hard time.
Wait a minute.
You're getting paid by the government and you're not sharing that with me.
I know.
What a jerk I am, aren't I?
I'm very offended.
You should be, right?
I'm getting all this government cash.
It's just, it's ludicrous.
It truly is.
But this is the risk that you take with putting yourself out before the public, right?
They're going to attack you.
And once again, every single time I bring up anything regarding the Jewish question, what happens?
You know what's going to happen.
And I've told you before, I'm not.
neither a Zionist or an anti-Semite.
Okay, I'm neither of those things.
But it won't matter that I say that,
because somebody else is going to come on here and accuse me as something.
Doesn't matter what, but they're going to accuse me.
But anyway, I wanted to show you this,
because this is directly from Newsmax, okay?
This isn't some fringe out there.
You know, NewsMack is kind of, they kind of put themselves up as like
an alternative mainstream news.
Would you say that's fair?
Chris? Newsmax has kind of hit that point.
That seems to be what they're
going for. Yeah, I mean, you had Fox News and people started to realize
Fox News was compromised, and so you had competition
enter into it. Newsmax seems to have won.
There's a lot of people on here. They're watching it.
This is their report. Let's go ahead and hear it, Chris.
Conservative Christian leaders are calling on Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu to stop a bill proposed by members of his coalition
to make it criminal to tell people about Jesus in Israel.
Our Jerusalem correspondent, Daniel Cohen, is live near Tel Aviv with more. Good morning, Daniel.
Good morning, Allison. Good morning, everyone. A big story just before, days before Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter.
Sacred Time for Christians. Two ultra-Orthodox members of Prime Minister Netanyahu's coalition have introduced a bill that would punish believers for sharing the gospel of Jesus with prison time.
United Torah Judaism Knesset members Moshe Gaffney and Yakov Asher introduced.
legislation last week, making it illegal to share in conversation or produce content online,
in print, or by mail. Their explanation of the bill emphasizes a warning to stop Christians
in particular. The punishment, one year in prison or two years for sharing with someone under the
age of 18. Joel Rosenberg is the host of the Rosenberg Report and editor-in-chief of all
Israel News. He's also a Jewish follower of Jesus. Obviously, Jewish people do.
don't agree with Christians, evangelicals or others, about who Jesus is, right?
We all know that there's a theological difference.
But evangelical Christians and other Christians have been so supportive of Israel and the Jewish people.
So to silence, to muzzle and gag even Israelis like myself and others to say,
you can't talk to another person about your faith and why you believe it, that is terrible.
That is not freedom.
Although he doesn't agree theologically, Netanyahu has always been a strong friend of evangelicals.
Speaking at meetings and believing freedom of speech and freedom for Israel's small Christian community should be protected.
Now, should this bill gain traction, it could spark a serious clash with the 60 million evangelicals in the United States and 600 million around the world.
Gaffney first introduced a ban on evangelism in 1999.
It went nowhere.
United Torah Judaism is in a stronger negotiating position now, though, since Netanyahu needs to keep the party in his coalition, or it could threaten Netanyahu's ability to remain in power.
Allison, back to you.
Daniel Cohen, thank you so much.
Right there, ladies and gentlemen, straight up coming from Newsmax.
All right.
We have that video, which is, like I said, it's not fringe.
It's not coming from some fringe conspiracy theory network.
there is a law that's been introduced into Jerusalem politics to make it illegal for myself,
you, other followers of Christ, to go and to discuss our faith with the Jews.
Now, I'm not done yet.
This is Caleb Collier with Church and State.comedia.

the conversation is going to continue.
But real quick,
I do have to push one of our great affiliates and coffee.
I love coffee.
But not as much as Chris.
I got to tell you,
I make jokes about it,
but Chris literally has to have a full coffee cup.
You ever like sweat coffee, Chris?
Has ever come out of your pores?
No, I wouldn't allow that.
It has to stay inside.
It's like, body, you suck that right back.
The man drinks a lot of coffee.
And he likes Hunter's Blend.
I like Hunter's Blend as well.
But I was supposed that Chris would be our resident coffee snob.
Is it because it's vegetarian?
No.
It's just good.
Have you ever had bacon-flavored coffee?
That sounds horrible.
It's actually not very good.
But I have tried it.
Look, if you like coffee as much as Chris does,
then you're going to want to check out Hunter's Blend Coffee.
All right, we've partnered with these guys.
They have some great blends.
Obviously, for me, the darker, the better.
Chris is 100% in agreement with that.
We don't want any of those light roasts.
What are you even doing with that?
Stop it.
All right, but they got some great stuff in here.
They are Christian.
They are conservative.
so they're really aligned with us here at church and state check them out make sure to use the promo
code church and state for all of your purchases also hit the donate button you know you want to
like your finger it's just hovering over the donate button right now you're like this guy
there's something about him that i really like what could it be is it his voice is the fact that he
wears all these great dystopian shirts like the smoking man from the X-Files right now.
Is it that?
I don't know.
Maybe it's his dogged pursuit of the truth.
Either way, that finger is just hitting.
It's about to hit the donate button.
I want to encourage you to do it.
Just do it.
Like Nike over here.
Do it.
Push the button.
Right?
Do it.
What's that movie, Chris?
Do it.
Starsky and Hutch.
That's what it's from.
Do it.
do it. Yeah. Just hit it. Hit the donate button. Keep us on the air because you know you want to.
All right. With that, let's go back to the conversation at hand. And we're talking about potentially
spreading the gospel in Israel could be made illegal with a fine of a year or even two years if you
do it to somebody that's underage. What a crime indeed. What persecution of our Christian faith coming out of
supposedly our greatest ally?
It's an odd situation.
Now, I don't think this is going to actually pass,
but Benjamin Netanyahu,
I will say I disagree with this on Newsmax.
They say he's been a great friend
of the evangelical community in America.
I would say he's been more of a user
of the evangelical community in America.
Would you say that's fair, Chris?
Or am I risking getting called another name here?
does kind of seem like he's taking some advantage there.
Yeah, I would say that for sure.
But obviously, Benjamin Netanyahu is he is an astute politician, whether you like him or not.
And he understands that having the support of the evangelical community in America is beneficial to his country.
And so if something like this were to pass, as the report said, it could cause some friction.
Right?
It could cause things to blow up potentially.
perhaps I chose the worst words there.
But I think you get the point, obviously.
So I don't think this is going to pass,
but it's still interesting to note
that there are certain people in the nation of Israel
who really don't want us spreading the good news.
This episode is brought to you by Spreeker.
The platform responsible for a rapidly spreading condition
known as podcast brain.
Symptoms include buying microphones you don't need,
explaining RSS feeds to confused relatives,
and saying things like, sorry, I can't talk right now, I'm editing audio.
If this sounds familiar, you're probably already a podcaster.
The good news is Spreaker makes the whole process simple.
You record your show, upload it once, and Spreaker distributes it everywhere people listen,
Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and about a dozen apps your cousin swears are the next big thing.
Even better, Spreaker helps you monetize your show with ads,
meaning your podcast might someday pay for, well, more microphones.

at spreeker.com.
Sprinker, because if you're going to talk to yourself for an hour,
you might as well publish it.
And lastly, the big one.
The big one that I really wanted to vote a lot of time in,
and I want to offer an apology to.
It's Christian nationalism.
Now, all of you are probably familiar with what Christian nationalism is.
Certainly, it's been the talk of a lot of individuals,
whether you're a pro or opposed.
certainly we saw with the Joe Biden administration and all these talking heads talking about the threat of Christian nationalism or all a bunch of domestic terrorists.
And then on the other end, you had people like Marjorie Taylor Green who were saying, I'm a proud Christian nationalist.
And I will even throw myself under the bus here.
When people started first having this conversation, I was actually with Gabe still.
Chris, were you here for that when Christian nationalism first came to the forefront of American politics?
Um, yeah, I believe so.
Okay.
So you remember the conversations.
We had Gabe, we had me, and we were defending it.
And we were really breaking the two words apart, right?
I am a Christian and I also love my country.
I am a Christian nationalist.
I remember distinctly uttering those words.
And even on the show as we do the introduction, what do I say?
Hello Christian Patriots, which could certainly be, I don't know, misconstrued for Christian
nationalism as well.
Similar wording, I suppose, you could say, but I didn't understand it.
And for that, I apologize.
And I'm wrong.
I was wrong.
I was definitely wrong about this.
Because this is actually a danger.
This is actually a threat.
And I want to take some time to devote the last part of the show into discussing why I believe
it is actually dangerous.
Now look, I am a Christian.
100% I will never apologize for my faith not just faith my knowledge the wisdom that Christ is imparted on me
to call me one of his elect to reveal the truth to me so that I too may enter into heaven through
the blood and the grace of Jesus Christ I don't take that lightly it's essential to who
Caleb Collier is and I am a patriot because I do
do love this country and I've served it on multiple occasions in multiple ways and I will continue
to serve America because I still see such great hope for this country and I still love the
republic that it was originally built upon but Christian nationalism is a whole different beast
you see Christian nationalism proclaims that we are a Christian nation and I would say that that is
true in that our founding fathers were all, for the vast majority of them, were in fact Christians.
But they established laws to protect individuals being able to worship God as they saw fit.
There was no establishment of a national religion.
There was no establishment that we are Anglican or we are Lutheran or we are Catholic.
No, you could come over to this nation and worship as a quake.
as a Puritan, however you saw fit, and we even allowed for people like the Jews to exist in
the United States and to worship the God, their God. I mean, it's the same God with the absence
of Jesus Christ, all right? It's the God of the Old Testament. They were able to worry, why are you
shaking your head at me? I'm not involved in this. You're shaking your head at me. It's just the same
God, Chris. This is the God of the Old Testament. They just don't acknowledge that Jesus Christ is
his son, that he died for our sins. Allegedly. Allegedly. But we allowed for that. Our founding fathers
understood a very important thing. You cannot force somebody into conversion. Churches tried it.
We had the Inquisition. We had people that were tortured until they proclaimed their faith.
Do you think that actually worked?
Do you think that when they died, that they were immediately a Christian?
I don't think so.
Let's put it on the other foot.
Communism, which is, in fact, a religion.
And if we look at the Soviet Union, what did they do?
They mandated the worship of the state.
God was dead.
The state had all of the solutions and answers and was, in fact, your salvation.
And they stomped upon the church.
There was massive amounts of persecution.
And what occurred?
The church actually grew.
More people needed faith.
They needed faith that there was something better in the afterlife beyond this communist wall of oppression.
You see, the state and the Soviet Union tried to mandate that you worshipped the state.
And it didn't work.
The same principle applies for Christianity.
you cannot mandate this upon someone.
You cannot force them to convert.
You cannot force Christianity because it's a heart issue.
And no amount of oppression is ever going to force somebody into believing.
And that's a real risk for this rise in Christian nationalism.
And we've seen now the White House with their faith council
which is rather ridiculous, isn't it?
Led by Paula White,
who is an absolute heretic in my book.
An individual who's literally a money pimp for the church.
We have individuals like, what was her name, Chris?
Carrie, oh, Carrie, I can't remember her name.
But she was pushed out of the White House Faith Council.
Why?
Because she had questions.
about what Israel was doing to the Palestinians.
So she was pushed out of that.
Because we need to all think in one confined little bubble.
This is accepted Christianity and that is not.
Flying in the face of what the founding fathers gave us in this once great republic,
you are this type of a Christian and if you fall outside of this bubble whatsoever,
then you are not of the faith.
It's the dispensationalism.
You have to believe specific things
about the Abrahamic promise.
If you are part of covenant theology,
then you are outside of that.
If you don't believe in the modern prophets and apostles,
then you are outside of the accepted Christian norm,
accepted Christian nationalism.
And now, and perhaps even worse,
we have the justification
of wars.
And I covered this,
and everybody's been talking about it.
That our military is literally telling
our soldiers, our airmen, our marines,
our sailors,
that they are part of a holy war
that Trump was appointed
to bring about Armageddon.
This is unchecked Christian nationalism.
And it's wrong.
It is dead wrong.
And certainly there are some
ties to the new apostolic reformation, the prosperity gospel and the word of faith.
I'm going to tell you right now, we as Christians, we need to identify this.
And then we need to take action to write it.
And that's what I'm doing here.
Number one, I am coming to you with my heart in my hand, offering my most sincere apologies
that not only did I not see it, but that I was a part of it, that I promoted.
it that I was apologist for it.
I apologize for that.
And I'm trying to correct it.
Right now on this episode,
trying to correct it.
And now I need more and more Christians
to come to this conclusion.
The Christian nationalism,
it sounded right.
And I get it.
I do.
Especially with what we experienced,
with Obama,
with Biden,
in, we saw attacks coming from our own government towards our Christian faith.
And so we decided to take action.
And we fell in with some bad characters who had their own agenda.
We could make strange bedfellows.
And we started to win.
And when he feels good.
But we didn't see.
We didn't see the misconceptions, the alternative views.
the elements of it that are decidedly unchristian.
And now we're excusing.
And we don't want to admit we're wrong.
I know it's hard.
I know it's hard to admit you wrong.
But I just did it for a national audience.
So we can.
We can admit we're wrong.
And we still can identify as Christians.
And we can still say that we love the United States of America.
But I would caution you,
about ever calling yourself or identifying yourself as a Christian nationalist,
because it means two entirely different things.
And if we're going to use Christianity to enforce morality coming through the government side of things,
then we really have become a theocracy.
And a theocracy is not something that is conducive to a free people.
Freedom is important.
and it's essential to us as Americans.
And tyranny can come.
It can come from Islam.
It can come from communism.
And it can also come from Christianity.
And we want no power to that.
I'm going to continue to preach the message of the good news.
But I will never enforce that using a government institution.
I will never advocate for that.
Because what I want is people to come through Christ.
not because of fear
no
because the Holy Spirit
spoke directly
to their heart
