Starting point is 00:00:00 Bokane Valley could become a sanctuary city of a different kind. Madam Calier says that this proposal... I'm proposing that the city of Spokane Valley issue of proclamation stating that our city is a Second Amendment sanctuary. Welcome to the fire. Today on Church and State an oasis of hope for those battling cancer with Dr. Francisco Contreras and Rick Hill. Hello Christian Patriots and welcome to Church and State where we drive morality and religion over tolerance and apathy. And I'm your host, Caleb Collier, once again, your favorite. far right, shock jock, and the show that talks about politics and religion, Jesus Christ, is our referee,

Also, please check out the affiliate program, and we'll be talking a little bit more about that later. But it's a great way for you to get some needful things and, of course, support us here at Church and State.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Speaking of support, please hit the donate button for us. It takes a lot to do what we do, and we're part of some great networks and RVTV newscasters. And we need your support to continue to be on those. So something as small as $10 a month can make the world of difference for us here. Lastly, if you want to get a hold of us, Church and State 1776 at Proton.me, and with that, let's go ahead and get into the show. Now, ladies and gentlemen, the C word is probably the most terrifying word in human existence, and what I'm referring to is cancer.
Starting point is 00:01:55 That is just a diagnosis that terrifies anyone hearing that news. And you really have three options with those. You can either cut it out, or you can go through chemo and radiation. But there are alternatives, and I, like to devote a significant amount of time on this show to discussing those. So I'm bringing on Dr. Francisco Contreras, director, president, and chairman of Oasis of Hope Hospital. He's a distinguished oncologist and surgeon with over 40 years of experience. I also am bringing on Rick Hill. He's an author speaker and 50-year cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with stage three carcinoma at the
Starting point is 00:02:32 Mayo Clinic in 1974 and was given, well, pretty much a death sentence. And he decided to go through Oasis of Hope and here he is today telling his story. So gentlemen, thank you so much for joining us on Church and State. Thank you very much. It's a pleasure and an honor. Absolutely. All right. So let's start with the good doctor here. Oasis of Hope. This is an incredible facility. It's in Mexico. And you're going through some treatments that some people would call fringe, but your record of how many people you've helped speaks quite the opposite. Is that correct, sir? Yes, we've been helping cancer patients for the last 63 years.
Starting point is 00:03:21 And we have been very successful because we integrate all the therapies available from the conventional and from the alternative. Anything that has sufficient scientific support, we will try with our patients and we've developed over the years a number of therapies that have been very, very helpful for cancer patients, one of them being B-17 that we've been using since the beginning of Oasis of Hope in 1963. And it's a natural anti-tumor agent. So diet, natural agents that fight cancer, and tremendous emotional and spiritual support are the basis
Starting point is 00:04:08 of our therapies. And I feel that that's the reason for our success. Absolutely. Now, typically, what you're hearing, I'm going to bring Rick Hill into this conversation because this is somebody who was diagnosed with cancer, given a death sentence, and here he is alive and well a number of years later. But you're told, you know, you have all these options, basically three. And in your case, you were told, there's really nothing we can do. And you had a, a back. Baptist preacher tell you, go to Tijuana. And you were like, oh, great, this quack. But here you are. You're alive and thriving after a death sentence from the Mayo Clinic. Yeah, it was really interesting because it was actually the chemotherapist that was the coup de
Starting point is 00:04:59 grah about my time at the Mayo Clinic. after this Baptist pastor told me that I should go to Oasis of Hope. I was skeptical. I was. I mean, especially when he told me that derivatives from the apricot fruit were going to be injected into me. I just thought, oh, I can't go to my family with that story. But I went to the chemotherapist
Starting point is 00:05:31 at the Mayo Clinic that day, and I said, hey, this Baptist pastor guy called me up and told me about this thing in Tijuana. And what do you think of that? I mean, you know my case better than anyone. What would you do if you were me? And he leaned back in his chair. I thought he was going to teach me new swear words right there.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Instead, he leaned back in his chair, and he looked at me, and he said, well, you know, Rick, it is warm. this time a year in Tijuana. There you go. I said, okay, message delivered. Thank you very much. And I stood up and walked to the door.
Starting point is 00:06:15 I turned around and said, I don't think I'll ever see you again. And I walked out. And two days later, I met Dr. Contreras's father, who was at that time, the head doctor and director at O.A. of hope. And I think you, Doc, were just finishing up your degree about that time. This was 1974. I was down to 120 pounds and on morphine. And they said to me, like the chemotherapist
Starting point is 00:06:48 first said, well, we're going to give you chemo starting Monday, but the way he said that, I thought, why bother? You know, I mean, I can't get any skin. skinnier. My wrist and my bicep were the same circumference at that time. I look like a skeleton. And, you know, so thank God that there was a Baptist pastor who stuck a bircher who stuck his nose in my business. And thank God there was an honest chemotherapist who didn't, who didn't, who didn't, gamble his $300,000 a year gig. But he did let me know circuitously that I should maybe take a look at this Tijuana connection.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Sure. And I did. And I'm going to go back to the good doctor here in a minute. But if memory serves me correctly, because I've interviewed you before, Rick, the Mayo Clinic, they were so upset by the fact that you were actually cured from B-17 that they tried to claim that you never even had cancer in the first place. and the Mayo Clinic had to come out and say, no, he actually did because they were worried about getting sued for treating you for something that you didn't have. Yeah, I wrote a book called Too Young to Die.
Starting point is 00:08:14 And so I was on the speaker circuit with national speakers. And I would go into the little towns and I'd speak at churches or libraries or whatever. And the American Cancer Society was sick. on me and every town I went to that they could find out I was going to be there they published in the newspaper that as for the testimony offered it could be that he never had cancer in the first place that's American Cancer Society saying that so after the third time I read that in the newspaper I clipped the articles sent them to the mail clinic and I said you will be hearing from my attorney
Starting point is 00:08:55 because the American Cancer Society says you misdiagnose me I'm gonna own the third floor of that hospital huh and they wrote this letter back overnight let's see if I can get it in your camera yeah that's the letter right there and that letter says I'm not gonna read you the old letter it says as questioning whether or not you actually did have cancer in the first place you are entirely right that you had high grade. Doc can tell you what that is. Stage 3, embryonal cell carcinoma, and chemo was mandatory when you left us.
Starting point is 00:09:37 In other words, they didn't cure me, and then I cut out and wanted to be famous for a little while. No, I was nearly dead when I got to that clinic in Tijuana. I really was. I mean, my father-in-law, thank God, came with me. And that photo behind me on the wall, that was hanging at Oasis of Hope when I got there. I couldn't sit in a chair. So he went outside the door, got the floor mat that everyone brushed their feet on,
Starting point is 00:10:09 shook it real hard, brought it in, laid it under that much larger version of that. And he said, son, lay here. And when your turn comes up, I'll come get you. And I did that for 21 days. So you can imagine my surprise when the then president of the hospital presented me with a small version of that. But I got tears in my eyes when I saw that. Sure. So good place to go.
Starting point is 00:10:39 And by the way, I walked out 21 days later. 21 days later. From being dragged in on a floor mat to walking out in 21 days. That's not a bad title for the next podcast. There you go. Well, maybe we'll call that. So returning back to Dr. Contreras, you know, number one, I want to ask when Rick talks about high-grade, what exactly does that mean? High-grade means that it's a very fast-growing tumor, a very aggressive tumor. And then brional carcinomas, even low-grade, are very aggressive.
Starting point is 00:11:15 So it's probably one of the most aggressive cancers when it's high-grade. Okay. All right. Now, B-17, I can't think of another fruit like the apricot that has been so demonized by Western medicine as the apricot. Why are they, why is there so much vitriol throwing at this tiny seed that can literally cure cancer? Well, I think it's because it is so effective and so inocuous to the body in comparison to chemotherapy. So this is a natural chemotherapy agent that it's found in many seeds, not just in the apricot seed. And what is very scary is the mode of action. It kills malignant cells by cyanide intoxication.
Starting point is 00:12:10 And of course you hear cyanide and you say, oh, my God, what am I taking? But the truth is that cyanide is a raw material for cyanocobalamin. Cyanocobalamine is B-12. And we need to consume cyanide in order to survive. So God put cyanide in about 1,200 foods that we have to consume. Berries, for instance. Strawberries have cyanide. And so what happens is that normal cells have the capacity to convert the cyanide into cyanocobalamine. Malignant cells do not have that capability. And so the cyanide specifically kills malignant cells.
Starting point is 00:13:00 It cannot harm a benign cell, because a benign cell is going to metabolize that into cyanacobalamin. And that is a mode of action. And Dr. Seguer at the Sloan Kettering, Kettering, in the late 50s, early 60s, published about six different reports on amygdalin given to animals with excellent results. It just never got to clinical trials. Okay, so the cyanide, which obviously is a terrifying word for for everybody. Like, we don't want to take cyanide, but they bypass the fact that chemotherapy is literally poison. And you don't know this about me, doctor. but I was an EMT for a number of years.
Starting point is 00:13:46 And I would watch. We do transports. Obviously, people are calling 911 a lot, but I met people that were dealing with cancer. And as it progressed, and as they were on the chemo and radiation, and they'd done a biopsy on the tumor and spread the cancer throughout the entire body, I could literally watch as these people that I would have been having conversations with as I transported them to the hospital, and they were with it.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Their mind was still sharp. But as they progressed on the chemotherapy and radiation, they got to be where they were forgetting things. They didn't know where they were. And it was so tragic for me to see somebody who had been very much alive becoming a shell of who they used to be. Yes.
Starting point is 00:14:28 And it's, you know, it's ironic. The first chemotherapy is derived from the gas used to gas the juice in the concentration camps. And they're afraid of a minute amount of cyanide. It's amazing. And the whole thing is there's no money to be made on natural products. It is so unfortunate. And then, you know, everybody feels that there's a conspiracy on the FDA against natural things.
Starting point is 00:14:59 But that's not true. What happens is that in order for you to get something registered by the FDA, you have to prove that it's safe and effective. And the cost today to do that is about a billion dollars. So companies have to spend all of this money. And so the way the government compensates is by giving them a patent. And then you have a monopoly of your invention for about 20 years, and that's the way to make your money back.
Starting point is 00:15:30 When you come to the FDA with a natural product, you still have to spend a billion dollars, but they can't give you a patent because it's natural. And nobody's going to spend a billion dollars on something where they're not going to make the money back. So, you know, it's not greed. It's just that's the way the system is. And I've been praying that Bobby Kennedy comes up with an idea
Starting point is 00:15:55 on how to incentivate people to promote natural products that are extremely effective, non-toxic, in how people that developed this would have an incentive to do it and where they could get their money back from all of the research that they have to do. I think that will be fair. But up to date, nobody has come up with how, because you can't patent a natural product. Sure. Now, Rick, I'm going to bring you back into this conversation.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Dr. Contreras brings up money. And for a lot of people, they look at the traditional, you know, established medicine, the treatments for cancers. And they say my insurance is going to take care of most of this. And if I try to go the natural route, it could potentially bankrupt me. Rick, going to Tijuana and going through a more natural process, did this bankrupt you? It didn't because the Lord took care of me. I went to my church and said, if you really want me in the pew, you're going to have to cough up some money here. because I'm not going to be here in a few weeks if you don't.
Starting point is 00:17:14 And then my father-in-law, who was a very successful construction worker, I say worker, he had his own company that build roads, big caterpillar tractors and the whole thing. And he agreed at my family meeting when I told everyone about the potential of a waste of hope. My family's the one that taught me the new swear words. They were very upset with me, almost ridiculously so, and wouldn't talk to me, etc. But my father-in-law stood up at dinner and said, I like it, I'll take him, and I'll help pay for.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Well, my family looked at their shoes. They didn't like that program, especially the part about money. So I had a lot of support. The deacons anointed me with oil. I mean, I couldn't have asked for a more cooperative group. And people say, well, if the deacons did that, maybe God just healed you, and this whole leotril thing is just an add-on story. Well, I say God healed me,
Starting point is 00:18:29 but not supernaturally without the aid of this process, because it was gradual. When I was at the Mayo Clinic for over a month, I gradually got worse and worse and worse and worse until I knew that I was died. I would be dead soon. When I got to a waste of hope, I didn't feel any better,
Starting point is 00:18:52 but over that three-week period, I felt better and better and better and better. So it was a process, and the hand of God, I think, was involved in the way that I found out about this. You've got to admit, pretty crazy, huh? The Baptist pastor, the chemotherapist, it goes, hey, buddy, shh, yeah, tell you what you got to do.
Starting point is 00:19:21 So that's the hand of God, I think. And then, because my church had paid for it and my father-in-law, I did what Dr. Contreras told me to do for a long, long time. And I didn't cheat because he came to me his father, this Dr. Contreras, his father, came to me and said, we practice here participatory medicine. Rick, you're pretty sick. And if you don't help us, we will not succeed. So I need your help to make this work. Are you willing to do what we ask? before God and everyone I said I'll do that I don't understand it I don't know how much faith I have in this to be honest with you but I'll do what you guys
Starting point is 00:20:18 asked me to do and I did and if we can get patients to do that to actually follow the rules that's the other part of it the other thing was I took this laetril this is a three-gram vial, and I took those, a couple of them usually, every day for 21 days. But more than that, I changed the way I lived. I didn't drink beer anymore. I didn't eat chocolate declares and toxic pizza. I gave it all up. And when people would hassle me and say, okay, okay, okay, you already went down the rabbit
Starting point is 00:21:00 hole. Now we're going for pizza and beer tonight. You need to come with us. pals. No, my doctor took me off that. I cannot do that anymore. And a few friends dumped me, but they weren't really friends, you know? Sure. Yeah, they were in it for the good times. Yeah, it didn't matter if you were there or not. Let's go back to the doctor. And Dr. Contreras, I have a two-part question for you. And the first part is you are obviously in there for the betterment of people. You want to serve humanity. And I can see that about you. And I can see that about you.
Starting point is 00:21:34 that through looking through your website. But what would a kind of a standard 21 day, you know, healing journey, how much would that typically cost the average person? Let me just say that you are correct that it's economically burdensome to patients because alternative therapies are not paid by insurance companies and everything that they have to pay is out of pocket. And so many, many patients say, you know, I've been paying this insurance for many, many years I have to take advantage of it. And then they go and get killed by chemotherapy, radiation therapy. And so the average cause of our patients, depending on the stage, depending on how complicated, would be between $30,000 and $40,000, the initial therapy. And it sounds like a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:22:31 But it isn't an initial chemotherapeutical program. It's about 200,000. You know, the patient doesn't feel it because the insurance pays it. But what we do is not expensive in comparison to conventional therapy. What makes it a burdensome is that the patients have to pay it out of pocket. For many years, about 20 years ago, insurance companies were actually paid. because they were saving tremendous amount of money on the patients that would come to us. But then the AMA of all people sue them.
Starting point is 00:23:12 And now the insurance companies don't pay. So yes, it is out of pocket. It's significant amount of money, but it's relatively cheap in comparison to conventional medicine. And then it's terribly effective. Whereas conventional medicine is not effective. In studies that have been done, chemotherapy benefits overall, about 2% of the people that take it. In our experience, we are able to benefit in the same way that it's measured by chemotherapy
Starting point is 00:23:49 because benefit as yes, the tumor came down. But the patient died. It doesn't matter. It was beneficial because the tumor can have. So taking all of those measurements, such, we're able to have. about 40% of the patients that come to us in some form. Sometimes, as you know, just a dignified treatment that gives purpose to the patients in the meantime
Starting point is 00:24:15 that they die without pain, without losing their hair, without vomiting. And then in prospective clinical trials that we've done with survival rates, for instance, patients that come to us with stage four, breast cancer. With conventional therapy, the five-year survival rate is about 16%.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Ars is 50%. Five years survival rate. And if the patients come to us version to treatment, they receive no chemotherapy whatsoever or radiation, then the five-year survival rate is 75%. Five times more than with conventional therapy. So it is very effective. But like Rick said, we do more for the patients than against the tumor.
Starting point is 00:25:06 And what we do for the patients is what actually fights the tumor. So we work for the immune system so that the immune system is actually the one that gets rid of tumors. So we have very strong immunotherapies in conjunction with B-17 and other therapies that have been proven very, very effective against cancer. And when we feel that chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation therapy would be beneficial to the patients, we're not shy about it and we're very open because there are some tumors that respond very, very well to conventional therapies. Most of them don't, and that's why they need alternatives. But when a patient needs surgery, we are not shy of saying what you need now with surgery or radiation or chemotherapy. But we have everything available.
Starting point is 00:25:58 That's the unfortunate part in America. They only have the very toxic things available, and they don't have the natural things that have proven to be very, very effective. Sure. And just for those that might be concerned, might be bulking a little bit at the cost, I would imagine that there's payment plans that are available for these patients. Is that correct? That is correct.
Starting point is 00:26:22 And then there are some grants. We have patients that donate money to a fund. Real talk, there's a lemon-shaped toy making women text their friends at 2 a.m. screaming, you have to get this. Meet Lem by Hello Nancy. Every 25 seconds, someone discovers Lem. And whenever our patient has problems, and if there is funds there, we help as much as we can whenever possible. And honestly, to the audience there, I just want to say, like, how do you put a price on an individual such as Rick, who is going to be able to live along and healthy life? I think any family member out there would say it's worth $30,000. It's worth $40,000 to have Rick Hill, you know, still being a part of our life here. Yeah, 51 years later.
Starting point is 00:28:05 That's incredible. Somebody will might say, no, you know, Rick Hill, I never liked him anyway. Sorry, Rick. I had to throw a little jab out there. But no, it is. There's people, you want them in your life. You want your family member in your life. And so I don't think $30,000, $40,000.
Starting point is 00:28:22 is really all that much money when you compare it to the life. Now, I want to get into the treatments, and I'll bring both of you into this conversation, because as you were saying, Dr. Contreras, it's a lot of different things. It's not just B-17. You're looking at all the different medicines that could potentially help and assist these people in defeating cancer.
Starting point is 00:28:43 We've got about 40 seconds left. And so what I'm going to do first is I'm going to point everybody to the websites, and then we'll come back from the break can talk about those treatments. But I want everybody to go to Oasis of Help. Or sorry, Oasisofhope.com. And you can check that out.
Starting point is 00:29:00 And if you've got somebody that has been diagnosed, I would point them this direction, ladies and gentlemen. I know for me, I would never go through traditional cancer treatments unless, well, unless Dr.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Kutreras told me, hey, we're going to do a little chemo because we think it will actually help this tumor. I also want to point everybody to B17works.com. as well and we're going to have to come back and I'll talk a little bit more about that ladies and gentlemen I want all of you to be a walking billboard some of us don't have platforms
Starting point is 00:29:31 such as church and state but you know what we can wear t-shirts and engage in great conversations with Christians and patriots all across the country stand-up now apparel is the best t-shirts out there these are American made owned by a Christian and a patriot and the material it's like getting a warm hug from yours truly one of the better things as well is there's no tags. These are the best shirts out there with the greatest messages. Let me give you a few examples. But there's a t-shirt out there that says armed with Ephesians 6 on it. I get to tell you,

There's other shirts that include pure blood in Hebrew, obviously in reference to the vaccines. And also, you can get church and state merch there as well. We've got our flagship shirt. Thank you for staying with us. You're over at church and state dot media and we're going to go right back to this interview. But before we do, I got to plug one of our affiliates. And I think Chris knows exactly where I'm going here. I'm going to the RNC store. That's
Starting point is 00:30:50 right doesn't stand for the Republican National Convention. No, our committee. No, it is for the apricot seeds, ladies and gentlemen. I want you to go to this website because if you are dealing with, once again, that dreaded sea word, I highly recommend going through John Richardson's group, the RNC store. We are partnered with them. You can go check out all of these different items. They got a lot out there, but just consuming some apricot seeds every single day. This is what John does. And he's not dead. He didn't die from cyanide poisoning. So go check them out and make sure to use the promo code church and state when you do. I also want to remind you again to please hit the donate button for us, ladies and gentlemen, to keep us on the air because we are bringing forth information
Starting point is 00:31:34 that you're not necessarily hearing anywhere else. And if you want to continue, well, we need your help. All right, with that, let's go back to our guests. And I wasn't able to do it enough justice. So I'm going to go back to B17Works.com, Operation World Without Cancer. This is a great resource for you, ladies and gentlemen, where you can read all about how apricot seeds, Laotryl B-17, has been effective in combating cancer. And with that, I'm going to go back to my guests, and I'm going to start talking about treatments.
Starting point is 00:32:06 And I want to bring both of you in here. Whoever wants to go first, go right ahead. But let's talk about what treatments look like. Toleretic here from 2311 racing. Starting point is 00:32:50 to use the most effective first and if that is not sufficient we can then upgrade the therapies. So for many, many years my father's treatment was basically lateral diet and spiritual support. That was it and that was the only thing that was available. And he was able, we reviewed his records for a long time and he had about a 25% rate of success. that is amazing in comparison to conventional therapy. And so when I came to work with my father, I started focusing on the 75%.
Starting point is 00:33:32 And what is it that we could do to improve on that amazing 25% that he was able to achieve just with amygdalin alone? And so we have added a number of protocols like high-dose vitamin C that has proven to be very, very effective, hyperthermia, ozone therapy, low-dose chemotherapy sometimes. And lately we have been working in the last 20 years with very strong immune therapies, very personalized immune therapies against patients' tumors.
Starting point is 00:34:12 and we have increased significantly the rate of success in many, many more, you know, our percentage rate now, as I mentioned before, like in cancer of the breast, there are some cancers that respond much better than others. But for instance, cancer of the pancreas, we have very good results of ovarian cancer, lung cancer, stomach cancers, cancers that are very, very aggressive. where conventional therapy virtually has nothing to offer. And in fact, there are studies that show that if patients do nothing, they actually live longer and better quality of life than if they start any therapy. You being a doctor, you know that tumors of the head and neck are extremely aggressive, and the therapies are devastating.
Starting point is 00:35:03 So we have, as I mentioned, a high dose vitamin C, hyperthermia, ozone therapy, nutrition is a big part of our therapies. So diet plays a major role. And then we have what is called the impact protocol that stands for immune, personalized, autologous cell therapy. And they're based on dendritic cell vaccines. This is how they were named in America. It's been developed in America. Unfortunately, Americans only can use it when there are trials available to them.
Starting point is 00:35:43 It's still not approved by the FDA because they want to convert this into a drug. Because there's no money in individualized protocols. But the therapy was designed as an individual therapy, and that's the way that we do it here, and that's why it's available in Mexico, because it's very easy to prove something if it's effective or not, right? the tumor is this big and now it's as big so obviously it's effective where you spend the money is in safety but mexican government said it's a vaccine that is prepared just for that patient from the patient's own tissues there's no safety issues whatsoever and so mexico approved it for once
Starting point is 00:36:30 common sense it prevails we have been able to do this now for me many, many years and unfortunately, Americans have to come to Mexico for a therapy that was developed in America. So overall, that is the combination of therapies that we have available for our patients. But amygdalen continues to be the pillar of our therapy. Sure. Okay. And Rick, as somebody that's gone through this, do you have anything to add to what Dr. Contreras was talking about here. Well, if you think I look bad now, okay? That was me in 1974 taken at the Mayo Clinic.
Starting point is 00:37:16 Get out of my spotlight there. But that's me with my Fonzie, greaser, Detroit hairdo. And then the thing going into my, I don't know where that tube went, gastric probably. But yeah, I look at the people that I have known over the years that gone through therapy, ask me my opinion, got a little smirk on their face like, well, Rick was never, never the brightest guy in class anyway. How could he know? Well, I didn't. I trusted that I was being led. And sometimes not thinking you're so smart can be an advantage.
Starting point is 00:37:59 So I went down there not exactly trusting because it was a scary thing for me. But once I met Dr. Contrera Sr. and began to understand what it was that they wanted to do and that I would participate fully for as long as I needed to, which stretches into today, even, I bought 51 years. What do you think that should cost? I mean, the fees Dr. Contreras was talking about is a used car. Well, my life is worth saving. It's worth more than a used car.
Starting point is 00:38:39 And if you find clinics in the United States that even try and mimic what he's done, there's no room they give you with your own private bathroom and companion bed as well as the patient bed. They're not going to serve you three organic meals a day. You got to stay in a hotel, go to restaurants to eat, rent a car. And this place is surrounded by a big wall and as a guard. You know, for those of you that say, well, Tijuana can be scary. Are you kidding? I grew up in Detroit.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Detroit's pretty scary. You want to talk about scary? You know, I found the people that you don't know this, Doc. One day I accidentally got in the wrong car at that, at the border to bring. me to Oasis. For some coincidental reason, the guy rolled down the window and said, are you Rick? I said, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:35 He said, come on, we'll take you. I got in the car, off we went. Well, I knew enough to know we were going the wrong way. So I said, hey, you guys, I appreciate the lift, but I got to go that way toward the ocean. And
Starting point is 00:39:51 they said, well, aren't you Rick Zambroowski or some name like that? I said, no. My name's Rick Hill. They just pulled over. I got out. That wouldn't happen in Detroit. Let's see what money this guy's got. Let's see if we can, you know, yeah, I'm just saying, come on.
Starting point is 00:40:11 It's by the ocean. It's in plias. And I've been there. I don't know. What do you think, Doc? Maybe a hundred times over the year. Visiting, talking to the patients, having a free lunch. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:23 It's a wonderful place. And some people go there every year like a spot. In fact, one guy is a NASCAR driver. Remember him? And he's got the Oasis logo on the hood of his car. So when he's going around and around, you get to see their logo. So it's that kind of place.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Yeah, that's fantastic. Let me ask you something else. I like to be a little bit controversial. I like to push the boundaries. And I'm going to say something that the Christian audience might be like, oh my gosh, did he just say that? But I want to ask you about marijuana, because I've been hearing that marijuana can also be used as a treatment for cancer,
Starting point is 00:41:07 and maybe that gets me in trouble with the audience. Whatever. I hope they'd at least be interested in hearing about alternatives here. But is this something that your clinic would use, or is the evidence that you're seeing, saying that no, this is actually a bunk treatment? I'm one of those Christians that would be appalled in trying something like that. But I've been studying the literature, and it's very compelling.
Starting point is 00:41:40 And in fact, we have specific receptors for marijuana. Can you believe that? Those are things that God gave to us, and the results are so good. that I came to the conclusion that whenever it's approved in Mexico, the oasis of hope is going to be a very happy place. They'll eat you out of house and home. And the medical use, it's already approved in America, not in Mexico yet. But there's no question that it has some anti-tumor activity directly.
Starting point is 00:42:16 And there are dosages that will not get the patients high. And so I do believe that it has a place and we will probably use it whenever it's going to be available in Mexico. And again, when you use it correctly, the patients are not going to get high and are not going to be addicted to it. So the fact that we have receptors specifically for these elements means that in some way they are going to help us. And everything is about the dose, right? I mean, you can kill yourself by drinking a lot of water. And so the difference between a venom and a cure is the amount. And so when we find the correct amounts, I think that it's going to be beneficial to the patients.
Starting point is 00:43:04 We have many patients that are already taking a medicinal cannabis. is most of them start to improve their appetite to control pain, to sleep better. And those are minute dosages. And it's very effective for that. But I think that using it correctly, it's going to be also helpful as far as reducing tumor activity. Absolutely. And I mean, what you're talking about with the receptors, it's the same with nicotine, right?
Starting point is 00:43:37 We have nicotine receptors in our body. So clearly there is some medicinal uses, something that God created in us, that this can be helpful. And for me, I'm going to look to nature. I'm going to look to what the Bible says about being, you know, life being in the seed to be able to use that to cure people. That's my standard. I'm going to go off of what the Bible says versus what man says. Correct. Correct.
Starting point is 00:44:03 And you're right. It is incredible that people do not get the fact that. that God created us, and how could he have created us without a maintenance plan? So everything that we need to keep and regain our health has to be already here. We just have to discover it, correct? Absolutely. And so that's what we're thriving for, finding the things that God put on this earth to maintain our health and to regain our health when we lose it.
Starting point is 00:44:41 It's already here because God would not have made us without a maintenance plan. Sure. Absolutely. And I mean, when I'm looking at this, I'm going to bring Rick back into this conversation, but when I'm looking at this, given the alternatives, if I'm sat down and presented with this, you know, hey, you have cancer. And I look at it and say, well, what's the success rate for the chemo, for the radiation, for surgery. And then I look over here and say, what's the success rate for, you know, B-17 and cannabis and whatever else it looks like, the more natural approaches? And I weigh those two.
Starting point is 00:45:23 It's a pretty easy decision for me. I've never had cancer. But Rick, was it a pretty easy decision for you to say, I think I'm going to go that route? Well, if I hadn't been a Christian, I think it would have been nearly impossible. I looked at the circumstances. And it reminded me of when Abraham was trying to find a wife for his son, where he comes up with this 450-mile camel trek, you know, with one of them loaded with jewels to convince her that this dowry was a good deal. And I laughed out loud when I read that story. I thought, well, he stacked the deck. You know, I mean, come on. But when he got back, and here's my punchline. When he got back after the trip, she agreed to go. And one of the servants said to the other
Starting point is 00:46:19 servant, halfway through that trip, didn't you think what in the world am I doing? And the servant that took the trip said, no, because I being in the way, the Lord led me. And I was being led at that time in my life and I had such a weird day that no one could explain with the chemotherapist and my father-in-law and you know that I just said this this is the hand of God and I'm going to follow it so I hate to be glib or or that kind of thing but that is what I was thinking but when my wife got on the plane to kiss me goodbye you could do that in those days uh we were both in tears and I said to her, sweetheart, I think this is going to be a one-way trip. I don't think I'm coming back, at least not like this.
Starting point is 00:47:21 Well, you say, well, then that's not very faithful. That's not, you're not exercising faith. You've got to believe for this to work. No, what you've got to do is believe you're being led and then take one step at a time. And if it's a good idea today, it'll be a good idea. tomorrow. And I count on that every day of my life because I actually take this stuff. I actually do. I swallow it every day. I don't think it's a scam. I think it's real. Sure. And you haven't died from cyanide poisoning. So, I mean, there's the evidence right there, ladies of gentlemen. He's
Starting point is 00:48:01 taking it every single day. Well, as we wind down for this interview, what I'm going to do is I'm going to bring up both websites. And I'm going to do Oasis of Hope. And I'm going to have Dr. Contreras, I want you to break down this website for us. I want you to give the little tidbits to the audience, the things that they need to know is they're exploring this website. And then Rick, I'll go to you with the B-17 website. But Dr. Contreras, please, tell us about Oasis of Hope. We've worked very hard on this website. It's very intuitive and friendly, user-friendly. And we have all types of information for you that you can find there. You can find every treatment that we have. We explain very clearly which, what is it about this treatment, how it could help you.
Starting point is 00:48:49 We have testimonials. We have white papers. If you are more interested in finding the science, everything that we do at the Oasis of Hope has tremendous scientific background. And we will never use anything that it's not scientific. proven. So this is a website that can help you get information so that you can make an informed decision whether we are a fit for you or not. And we hope that we could be partners with you in your journey for health. Excellent. And Rick with B17Works.com, we're going to bring up that website as well. And I'd love for you to share with the audience why you love this website and the resources that are available here.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Well, you see that little orange box there. If they'll click on that, there's a little short one-page questionnaire to fill out. Go ahead and scan down. Yeah. See it? It's very short. And I'm not sure how that's on. Somebody wants to get a whole.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Yeah. My phone turned off. I really do. Oh, yeah. That's odd. Yeah. And if they will do that, then I will contact them and tell them about the Oasis of Hope and explain why it's really good and how it worked for me. Yeah, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:50:20 So it's a way that we can interact personally. And that's important because you want to feel like somebody's listening. You know. We have not unpacked this box. I apologize for that. I promise you I shut this off, Doc. I don't know what's going on. Well, that's why I'm in the ghost phone business,
Starting point is 00:50:43 but that's a conversation for a different day. But I appreciate being able to speak to people. I'm not in a hurry. I ask them, tell me your story. Because I remember I called his father from Minnesota. And the lady answered the phone at the clinic. and said, I'm sorry, Dr. Contreras is at a friend's home for dinner. And I said, oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:51:09 Well, I'm a Christian Day School administrator, principal, and I've really got serious cancer here. When could I speak to him? She says, can you hang on a minute? And I said, yeah. She called him on the other line and said, I got a, she said, Baptist pastor here to talk to you that's really dying. Do you think you can speak to him?
Starting point is 00:51:33 He left his dinner and talked to me. And I never forgot that. Never do I rush somebody off the phone or not take the call or charge him for my opinion. Because that guy showed me, his father showed me that he was the real deal. And like father, like son, or son like father. I don't sense ever when I'm there that this is just a money game. This is how they're helping people survive and thrive, not just not die, but teaching them principles of healthy living and spiritual living.
Starting point is 00:52:21 It's a life-changing trip for anybody that will do it. And we continue offering that service. If you get in touch with us, we have a free consultation with me or any one of my doctors, and we will then give you an overview. Once we have an overview of your case, we will give you our recommendation, and then you make a decision. And it's not, it's for free. Think of that. Yeah, I mean, that's pretty incredible, ladies and gentlemen.
Starting point is 00:52:54 I think you can see both of these individuals, they're in it for the betterment of humanity. trying to make, you know, millions of dollars. They're not in it for the fame. No, they truly do want to help you as you battle through a very scary circumstance. The gentleman, it's been an absolute pleasure having both of you on. I so appreciate your work, what you've done for people as a whole. And I look forward to having you back on the show. But I'll give both the last words here. Well, thank you very much. I pray that this information is valuable to you. And I just want to leave you with this. Cancer is not a death sentence. There are many things that you can do to survive it and even to beat it. God bless you. Rick, any last words for the audience? Can't say it better than that. That's my doctor.
Starting point is 00:53:47 That's my doctor. I love it. All right, well, I'm going to go ahead and close this out. If you hold on one more minute post-production to say her goodbyes, I'd appreciate it. But again, I thank you for your time and especially your work as well. All right, ladies and gentlemen, there you go. A world without cancer. Cancer is treatable. It's not a death sentence.
