Starting point is 00:00:00 Bokane Valley could become a sanctuary city of a different kind. Thank you, Caliator, says that this proposal... I'm proposing that the city of Spokane Valley issue of proclamation stating that our city is a Second Amendment sanctuary. Today on Church and State, the censorship agenda. Hello Christian Patriots and welcome to Church and State, where we drive morality and religion over tolerance and apathy. And I'm your host, Caleb Collier, once again, your favorite far-right shock jock, and the show that talks about politics and religion, Jesus Christ, is. our referee, so it's always nice and clean. Now, per the norm, you're going to head to church
Starting point is 00:00:49 and state.m media to see just a great website that we want to collect your information so that we can communicate with you. You can get our newsletter and a personal phone call from me. You're going to end up with my cell phone. I mean, how many of you would love to have my cell phone? I'm going to get like, you know what's going to happen, Chris, is the opposition is going to figure this out, and they're going to get my number. I'm going to call him. And then I'm going to just be getting like horrible texts all day long. I shouldn't have them that idea. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:20 Great job. You know what? We need support so that you guys, so we can get a secondary line. That's what needs to happen. Yes, I do call every single person who fills this out. So, yeah, secondary line might be necessary in the future. But anyway, fill it out for us. Also check out our latest episodes.
Starting point is 00:01:42 We're constantly covering hard-hitting information news from a religious perspective. I mean, this is really what we're addressing, right? Cultural issues from a religious perspective, a Christian libertarian perspective. And I'm just out here dropping truth bombs, like everywhere and everything. Like I'm, remember in Star Wars Christmas? He's like, stay on target. Stay on target. And they're trying to hit that little tiny, what was it?
Starting point is 00:02:10 It was an exhaust tube. Yeah, exactly. It was an exhaust tube. It was this little tiny thing, right? Like, I don't even have to be that. Just like Target and Whomp rats back home. Exactly. I don't have to be that guy.
Starting point is 00:02:24 I can just literally shoot at anything and everything. Because I'm going to hit truth on every single thing because there's so many lies out there, I would be the worst ex-ween pilot. Because I'd just be like, B-Doo-Doo! Everywhere. And I'd be like, I'm winning. Stay on Target.
Starting point is 00:02:40 But the target is everything. everything. They can get shooting at the horizon and I'm winning. That's how many lies are out there. That's what's so sad about this, ladies and gentlemen. But hey, it's good content. While you're there, also check out some of our featured guests. We've got some great ones. Just constantly impressed by the people that I've been able to have conversations with. And if you want to listen to those, just, hey, click on the link right there. Also, check out some of the affiliates. We've got great ones. And of course, you know I'm going to dive. into one of those towards the end of the show, but a lot of great stuff out here that I want you to
Starting point is 00:03:17 check out and it does help support us. You know, that really makes a difference for us. Also, hit the donate button for us. Keep us alive on Prepper Broadcasting Network, NRBT, newscasters. You guys are awesome on there. I'm really, really blown away by how many people they talk to that are filling out the form at the top. And I always ask them, where are you hearing us? where do you listen? And I just, I love hearing that, that you're hearing us
Starting point is 00:03:44 from Prepper Broadcasting or NetRBTV or whoever. Please keep that up. It really is a highlight. I will say, some people would say, man, I can't believe he calls everyone. I honestly enjoy talking to people.
Starting point is 00:03:59 You know my wife said the other day, Chris. Oh, man. Why are your wife so good at making men angry? God created him that way, I guess. There's this whole thing. I don't know if you've seen this, but there's this whole thing where women have started classifying their husband according to dog breeds. Have you heard this?
Starting point is 00:04:20 Oh, so now it's a dog instead of a bear? No, no, no, it's like a positive thing. So like you can you can have like German shepherd vibe. So like if a woman were to describe her husband as having like a German shepherd persona, right? He's like he's tough. He's mean. Everybody's kind of scared to go near him, right? Or you could be like a golden retriever that's just happy to see you. tails wagon and like once go up to everybody right my wife described me as having golden retriever vibes i guess could be worse yeah could be a chihuahua vibe yeah i'm glad i'm not a chihuahua that's sure but they would be the people that just kind of they're like really small and they talk a big game
Starting point is 00:05:04 like i'm ready to fight you right now and then like as soon as somebody's like all right let's go they're like running behind somebody's legs yeah no i'm not that but can you man Imagine, Chris. Can you imagine if men started describing women as dogs? Oh. Yeah, I don't think that would go well. That would not go well. That would not go well at all.
Starting point is 00:05:29 No, I don't like this. I don't feel good about having golden retriever vibes. That's my persona. Like, yeah, I'm happy to talk to everybody. Anyway, what am I doing? me i brought that all up because i do like talking to you and i like talking to you about where you hear us and granted i am also going to ask you to help support us so but please just do it just hit the support button and donate hit the donate button and support us reverse that thank you lastly if you want to hear from
Starting point is 00:05:59 our if i'm just i've got marbles in my mouth the dog thing really threw me off chris focus focus Caleb i'm sorry i'm sorry anyway lastly If you want to communicate with us, church and state 1776 at proton.me. With that, here we go. We're going to be talking about some interesting things. Chris is terrified of this first story that I'm going to bring to you because he thinks I'm going to attempt to wrap. Oh, please don't. Why would you be concerned with that, Chris?
Starting point is 00:06:34 I think I can do it. I knew you would. Failing California. district spends $610,000 for black kids to learn rap. Really? So that's what we're doing now. We're taking, let me get this straight. Let me get this spinning in my head correctly.
Starting point is 00:07:00 We're taxing people, right? All residents of California are paying in to the public indoctrination system, otherwise known as public education. We're taking that and we're going to teach Only one specific race how to rap. There's so many problems. It's going to say, is California school district racist? Yeah, that's one of the points right there.
Starting point is 00:07:29 California public education has proven, without a shadow of a doubt, that yes, they are indeed racist. Because if you are a kid, now, Chris, I know I'm probably biased, but you're probably also had the same bias. but and I don't even really like this guy but I will give credit where credit is due the guy has talent is Eminem one of the most talented rappers out there I would say possibly past tense
Starting point is 00:07:57 past tense he was he was good like back in his heyday that guy where you were like geez man yeah it was impressive like what you just the string of words that you just put together and had them rhyme like it was good all right so if a white kid
Starting point is 00:08:13 in California shows the same type of talent right like Harry Mac have you ever heard Harry Mac I'm not sure maybe oh my gosh there's going to be a language warning of course
Starting point is 00:08:28 but look this guy up on YouTube or Rumble Harry Mac that guy is amazing white guy he literally like will go out on a street corner and just be like give me three words and make them really hard and they'll give them three really hard words and he just starts spit and wrap like it's
Starting point is 00:08:43 He's, I mean, he just makes it up right there on the street. It's impressive. Also a white guy. So if we have some talented youth, but he's white, he's the wrong color, he can't be a party to this. He isn't get to engage in this new education experiment. I guess not. So let's, let's dive into this story. The Mercedes City School District isn't exactly killing.
Starting point is 00:09:13 it, unless that is what it's killing are its students' academic fortunes. Only about 22% of its pupils are proficient at math. 22%. Just 35% at reading. Hmm. Seems like they might be failing. Excuse me. Black kids in the majority Hispanic California district are doing considerably worse still, too. So response, you might expect its education officials to emphasize discipline and the three R's, you know, reading, writing, arithmetic. Why is it the three R's when one of them's A? Well, you know the spelling's not part of that. That's true.
Starting point is 00:09:50 I guess that's, yeah, all right. Anyway, instead they've spent $610,000 teaching black students how to rap. The program is supposedly designed to eradicate hate and ignorance. It's rap. But it directs aim at white patriarchy. Interesting. In January, the Mercedes, City School District in Central Valley, one of the state's lowest performing school districts
Starting point is 00:10:16 based on test performances, signed a $270,000 agreement with the Fresno-based school yard rap, S.YR, which describes its approach to learning as edutainment. Oh, oh, this sounds just delightful. Edutainment. Okay, the contracts include a summer rap camp and an African-American affinity group, which is capped for 100 African-American students. so it's out of compliance with federal law right there as well. I kind of feel discriminated against. I completely feel discriminated against. I still think I could rap, Chris.
Starting point is 00:10:54 I mean, prove it here in a minute. Stop. Hold on a minute. In a little over here, Mercedes handed out three contracts where the total of $610,000 to schoolyard rap, which operates across 28 states, including New York, New Jersey, and Texas. Programming includes history lessons, songwriting, DJing, and performances. The camp focuses on African-American history and dysporia, adds its founder, ex-school teacher, Brandon Brown.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Now, it runs a foul of federal anti-discrimination law, and the camp is on Washington's radar, too, though no investigation has yet been launched. He alleges that Brown, the guy that's running this, alleges the attacks are politically driven. he claims his campus open to every single student's grades through to 8th, but whether or not children will have equal opportunity to be degraded by the program is not the point. Will said, I should add, this is coming from the New American. But listen to some of the rap here, all right, because this is good stuff, okay? This is the rapper. Here I go, Chris.
Starting point is 00:12:04 You ready? You excited? Huh? Okay. History books have a white male skew, but believe me, I ain't blaming you. That's who's wrote it on paper. It's a cycle by nature. We give what we got, but I'm here to break it and bring education on what's not taught. Oh man, dude, I'm nailing this. Come on. Trust, it's a lot. I'm be black every day that I'm here, no cap for more than a month, just like every black kid in class. I am good, Chris. We have white privilege. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:44 I'm nailing it. I'm nailing it, Chris. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, great job. Thank you. Applaus. Just hold them. Anyway, the point in all of this is this is more of the same.
Starting point is 00:12:58 And in fact, it is actually censorship. Because what they are doing to the unfortunate black community in California, the kids that will be part of this de-education program, is dumbing them down. You are holding them back. You see, the beautiful thing about me is consistency. I want great education for all kids. I don't want to be Joe Biden over here saying, poor kids are just as smart as black kids, or however he phrased that. No, because I want good education for blacks, for whites, for the Chinese, for the Mexicans. I don't care. And you want to know how you get good education for all kids?
Starting point is 00:13:45 You privatize the whole thing. You get government out of it. Sorry, but I'm going to go back to my libertarian roots on this one. And I've seen the data. I've seen my own children. My own kids are absolutely amazing. They're incredible with what they know, primarily because I'm their dad. No, primarily because they go to private school.
Starting point is 00:14:09 And I think any. Any system that is developed to intentionally hold them back to bring them into this victimhood mentality, because if we really break it down, that's what's going on. They want to keep the so-called underprivileged into this little victim mold. You can't be successful because of the white patriarchy. More Marxist mumbo-jumpo, introduce it, get it into it, instill it, instill it, into their brains so that they're constantly and continually held back. The beautiful thing about what America once was,
Starting point is 00:14:54 was that it was competitive. You were competitive. You went in and you busted your tail and you were successful off of your merit. Sure, there was some nepotism. Sure, there was unfair advantages. but as a whole, we didn't do that. We were living the American dream and people were successful immigrants
Starting point is 00:15:21 coming over from Vietnam who started a nail business going in and doing manicures and pedicures. They built that up and they created their own little empire. And now their children are living an incredible life. That's what it was about. Now, I can't be successful.
Starting point is 00:15:42 successful because I'm being held down by the man, specifically the white man. And now you're just going to dumb them down even more. You know, tell him, hey, your only option here is rap music. Rap music, they were specifically designed by the CIA. Yeah, I'm going into that. All these players. Have you ever seen the videos of Tupac? Chris, you've ever seen this?
Starting point is 00:16:08 The videos of Tupac before he made it famous? No. Oh, my gosh. He's eloquent. He's also rather feminine. Oh, yeah, he's a feminine. He's talking with a lisp and everything. And then all of a sudden he becomes this gangster rapper.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Like most of them have been engineered. And it's not just rap music. Pop country. Most of it is all just engineered. And they're specifically targeting whoever they've been told to. Keep him down. Keep them down. Don't get uppity.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Don't reach for the stars. That's what this is about. I'm sick of it. Done with it. Want no part of it. I'll tell you, you Californians that are having to experience this, get your kids out. California's, the entire nation. Americans, get your kids out of public education.
Starting point is 00:17:03 It is the single most important thing you can do for the welfare of your kids. The ones you love the most, get them out now. With that, let's talk about three. of my favorite people. Can I just jump in with a public service announcement? Please do. To any, you know,
Starting point is 00:17:23 new audience members, Caleb does not normally rap on this show. Challenge accepted. I'm going to write a rap song, Chris, and I'm going to wrap for the audience.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Oh, that's not necessary at all. Oh, yeah. I'm going to be spitting truth. What would you call my three favorite people? The three amigos? No, they're not funny enough to be the three amigos. They're definitely not the three musketeers. Oh, you know who they are?
Starting point is 00:17:59 They're the three monkeys of hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil. That's who I'm about to show the audience are here. Yes. All right. Bring it up, Chris. Bring up the image. Who do we have here? Ben Shapiro, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levine.
Starting point is 00:18:16 I don't know which one I dislike more. Who do you dislike the most out of all these guys? That's tough. I think it's Mark Levin for me. I think his annoying voice puts him over the top. I don't know. Ben can do a pretty annoying voice. You're right.
Starting point is 00:18:34 He can too. Anyway, what do I bring up these guys? Because I'm sick of people listening to them. I... Now, here's the thing. I was just listening to Mark Levin. The other day, I was driving home. late at night, Mark Le Mans on.
Starting point is 00:18:49 I'm scrolling through the AM because I love the AM stations. And I hear his voice. And I, you know what I did? As soon as I heard his voice, I immediately kept scanning. And I was like, wait a minute, I want to hear what he has to say. I know. You're a glutton for punch. Sometimes I like to torture myself a little bit.
Starting point is 00:19:04 You're right. But he was talking about, he was talking about alternative media. I was like, oh, this is going to be good. And he was throwing bombs. at Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens and anyone like that, anyone in the mix there, that are just, he called them Jew haters. Okay, he called them all sorts of names. But here's the thing that I want to convey to the audience.
Starting point is 00:19:38 These guys engage in censorship. Now, how do they do that? They do it just like the mainstream news did. or it continues to do for the few that watch them. You see, for the longest time, and I've already explained Rockefeller and thanking the media for keeping quiet about the globalist plans, but for the longest time, that was the only source that we had. We had ABC, CBS, and NBC. Those were your choices.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Hey, that was it. You got those three, and you would pick who your favorite host was, and you would watch that. and you would expect it to be unbiased and fair, and people started waking up to that. No, something's wrong here, something's different. And then we got Rush. And Rush was a game changer. All right, and I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:34 I would have to go back and listen to old Rush programs to know if I completely agree with him. But I will say this. That guy transformed things. And I distinctly remember as a kid driving around, my parents would be listening to Rush Limbaugh. And I listened. And it did transform me.
Starting point is 00:20:56 I was brought up. I was in the 90s, that apathetic 90s era. But I was a conservative. It was weird. And I'm supposed to be all this grunge and Kirkobain and Eddie Better and all this kind of stuff. I was a conservative as a young man. And then we get to Fox News, right? Fair and balanced.
Starting point is 00:21:17 More like unbalanced. We've got the rise of the cable news networks. We had CNN first, but Fox News comes in and offers an alternative for us. We the people who are just sick of being lied to. Sick of an agenda of constantly this left-wing drivel. So we got Fox News. And then we see the rise of conservative talk media. And that brings in these three characters.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Ben Shapiro, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin, the great one. Mark Levin. And these guys lie to you constantly. And I've been subjecting myself to listening to their propaganda because I want to bring the information to you.
Starting point is 00:22:02 And what do I hear them all saying? The exact same thing. Mark Levin was talking about this war in Iran or with Iran. And it was the same talking points that you're going to hear everywhere else. Iran is the enemy.
Starting point is 00:22:21 Iran has been engaged in this nuclear program. They've been offered every opportunity to step away from that, but they just won't listen to reason. We've got to go to war with Iran. We've got to support our greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel. No matter what. And then they soften it. They soften it a little bit.
Starting point is 00:22:44 And they say, Now look, we've lost a few men and women. over there already. And every single one of these deaths is a tragedy. But it's the price you have to pay for democracy. It's a statement coming from somebody who has no skin in the game. And I don't usually pull the vet card, but I'm going to pull it right now. Because as a Marine veteran, you guys make me angry.
Starting point is 00:23:21 You see, I looked you up. None of you served None of you served in the military None of you actually had to bleed And even me, I never saw combat I was still out training And still even bleeding With my fellow Marines
Starting point is 00:23:40 I served my country as a volunteer But none of you guys did And you know what else And Ben I'll give you a little bit of a pass but none of you guys have kids serving in the military. Ben, your kids are too young. Your oldest is a teenager. But Mark and Sean?
Starting point is 00:24:02 No, your kids were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. They didn't serve in the military. You've got no skin in the game. You care not. How many lives are lost? You pretend. You pretend to care. You pretend to be such big supporters of the military.
Starting point is 00:24:19 But in reality, You are someone with an agenda. You are truly. You're for sale. You sold out to the neocon agenda, which is exactly what you are. And when I say neocon, I mean Marxist. Because that's the root of who the neocons are and were.
Starting point is 00:24:48 You guys have an agenda. You guys are propagandists. for this neocon movement, this community of people who always see war as the first solution. You want to drag us into as many as you possibly can. And you never ever push back, do you? And to the audience, aren't you tired of that? Aren't you tired of getting your media that really only does the talking points and raw, Ra, rah, I am a cheerleader for this party or that party.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Wouldn't you rather have some honesty? And I think you would. I really do. And I'm talking across all political divides. Why do you see people who are flocking to Pierce Morgan or Bill Maher or Joe Rogan? Why do you see people flocking to Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson? Because it's different because it's new. No, because they are not so obviously beholden to the party system.
Starting point is 00:26:03 That's why. And you guys are in your death throws and you know it. And granted, that makes you the most dangerous. Because right now you're going to do anything and everything you can to retain what little power you have. But I'll tell you right now, your time is short. There is a whole rise of independent media, both left, both right, in the middle. It does not matter. But people are hungry for truth.
Starting point is 00:26:35 People are hungry for people who would challenge them, who they don't even necessarily agree with. And you guys don't do that. That cheerleader squad of Mark Levine, Sean Hannity, and Ben Shapiro. your power's going away soon. I am giddy, gitty with anticipation, Chris. I cannot wait for this to occur. With that, let's move over to another great idea coming from the mind of yours truly. No, it's actually not.
Starting point is 00:27:17 It's coming from the Bible. Much greater source than anyone on this earth. But I was looking at this verse. Well, a number of verses. It's 1 Corinthians 6, coming from the English standard version, which I like, because I'm a Lutheran. Lawsuits against believers. I'm going to go through this. We're coming down to a break, but I'm going to go through this.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I'm going to read 1 Corinthians 6 versus 1 through 8. I'm going to explain to you why this proves Christian libertarianism is actually a great idea. why this is the solution versus getting the government involved. And I believe that as you read the Bible through the lens of Christian libertarianism, you'll see it rise up more and more often. And maybe just maybe you'll be able to see a solution that doesn't include the government.
Starting point is 00:28:15 And that's an exciting conversation to have. This is Caleb Collier with Church and State. Are you tired of your device spying on you? Ladies and gentlemen, we live in 1984. for your phones, your tablets, your smart televisions, they all are spying on you. And this is why I heavily endorse mark37.com. This is everything you need for your digital privacy. Phones, tablets, laptops, all of them are ghost protocol.
Starting point is 00:28:41 So that means that you are in charge of your own data. Just go to church and state. com, scroll over to shop, and hit mark37.com for all of your privacy needs. Make sure to use that promo code, church and state. And we're back. with us you're over at church and state media and uh we're going to plug one of our great affiliates and there's so many wonderful affiliates but i'm right now i'm thinking coffee
Starting point is 00:29:03 chris because coffee keeps the world running like there's no doubt in my mind okay i'm actually chris three greatest beverages in the world to go coffee coffee coffee really just coffee all three I don't know. I mean, I guess water could maybe, it is necessary for life, right? I'll begrudgingly give you that. But nobody like, unless you're really, really thirsty, you're not like water. Yeah, but when you are really, really thirsty, it's good.
Starting point is 00:29:42 I agree with that, okay. It's kind of epic. I can get around this. Three greatest beverages invented by man. water cannot be included now but coffee is coffee coffee coffee okay see I would argue with you not in necessarily order but coffee dark beer and whiskey
Starting point is 00:30:10 okay yeah well we are off NRBTV TV now so I guess we can say that yeah people know this about me yeah I'm a Christian and I like a good stout and I like good whiskey I also like cigars that's not a beverage. I know, but I'm just saying as far as, like, there's certain things that Christians aren't supposed to talk about.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Okay, yeah, then? I talk about everything. Anyway, coffee. We have great coffee here. Hunters blend coffee, and I don't know why I went off on that, but I just, I don't know. I did. Anyway, check out these guys.
Starting point is 00:30:44 They're great. They're wonderful. They're patriots, they're Christians, and they have really good coffee, really good, dark coffee. That's the best stuff. And, of course, you can get this good stuff and help support us just by using the promo code
Starting point is 00:30:55 church and state so check them out get only buy the dark stuff please if any of you who listen to this show drink white coffee gross I know but I also don't want to offend well but I always offend don't do it just
Starting point is 00:31:13 don't do it drink the dark stuff it's better all right and use the promo code church and state and hit the donate button for us again also keep us on the air because donating well it makes you feel good about yourself doesn't it keep us on the air talking about great things like rap
Starting point is 00:31:30 you people are going to want to see me wrap if they donate maybe I'll wrap Chris or maybe they can request that you not rap that's true too that could work that way as well yeah hit the donate button to keep me from wrapping
Starting point is 00:31:45 that's a beautiful idea because this is one Chris wants I kind of want to try it kind of want to wrap we'll see what the audience says all right but too keep us on the air hit the donate button and keep us expanding as well, because there's some great things coming for church and state. All right, with that, let's return back to the Holy Word of God.
Starting point is 00:32:05 1 Corinthians 6, the English standard version, and I quote, lawsuits against believers. When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try tribunal? cases? Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more than matters pertaining to this life? So if you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who have no standing in the church? I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle the dispute
Starting point is 00:32:47 between the brothers? But brother goes to law against brother, and that before I'm believers? To have lawsuits at all with one another is already to defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong. Why not rather be defrauded? But you yourself's wrong and defraud, even your own brothers. Why Paul doesn't mince words on this one, does he? But you know I'm a Christian libertarian. I say it all the time on this show. And as I was examining this scripture, I realized that this is a very libertarian approach to it. You see, Paul is not exactly real with the Corinthians. That when they have a dispute, They're not taking it to the church.
Starting point is 00:33:31 They're not taking it to fellow believers and brothers. No, they're taking it to the secular government, a group of unbelievers. And what does that show for the church? What benefit is it to be part of the church? They're just like us. They simply have to use the court systems. Imagine, if you will, at time, maybe an alternative reality in America. where the church decides we're no longer going to do this.
Starting point is 00:34:04 We're no longer going to go to the secular court system. I sell Chris a car and Chris doesn't pay me the money for it. Hey, this has sounded pretty good. Okay. And what do I do? I bring Chris before the church, before the leadership, before the congregation to settle this dispute. and what do we see when we allow the church, when we allow what we're biblically taught to do, ultimately Chris is instructed to pay me my money.
Starting point is 00:34:37 Oh, come on, back me up on this, guys. Sorry. Caleb, I deserve a car. A free car. Now you sound like a statist. Wouldn't that be a better scenario? Wouldn't that be a better situation that we can achieve, what needs to be, we can achieve justice through the church instead of through secular government
Starting point is 00:35:03 in a court system? Imagine if this were the case. To take this type of a libertarian approach to our Christian walk, I think it would be a great benefit for us. I think every member of the church would be edified by going through this. Because here's the thing. You go before the church, feelings are taking into account. And the end goal in all of that when the church is addressing disputes is for what? It's for you and I, for Chris and I in this scenario, to be able to walk away as still brothers in Christ to hear all my points, to hear all of Christ's points, and to ultimately come
Starting point is 00:35:58 to a conclusion that benefits us both and lets us still be friends and still be brothers. But when we put it in the secular court's hands, what do we see? People that hold on to that anger oftentimes for the rest of their lives. You see, Paul, and this was before libertarianism actually existed, but Paul was really tapping into it, isn't he? He's telling you, you don't need the government. In fact, the government is actually a hindrance. Food for thought, perhaps, I'll commit a few of you to come over to my side.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Christian libertarianism. Oh, it just rolls off the tongue. It's delicious. I'm getting weird looks. Last story that I want to cover for you. Kind of continuing on with that theme of censorship. Also from the New American magazine. Trump and Blackburn pushed to federalize AI control.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Oh, aren't we thrilled? Aren't we so excited about the federal government seizing control of all AI? What a world to live in. The Trump administration and its allies in Congress are moving to define the rules of the digital future, with consequences that could extend far beyond artificial intelligence. Last week, White House released a national AI legislative framework, while Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee introduced a sweeping 291-page companion bill to codify into law.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Together, they mark the most aggressive federal push yet. to define how Americans use access and build AI systems. Hmm. Sounds a bit like what the Chinese are already doing that we don't like. Seems that way so far. Let's continue reading, though. Supporters argue the country needs a single national standard to compete with China and reign in big tech.
Starting point is 00:38:14 The language is polished and ambitious. It promises to protect children, safeguard free speech, support creators, spur innovation, empower communities, and prepare Americans for an AI-driven economy. Critics see something else. Identity gate access, continuous monitoring, traceable content, and federally managed AI development. I tend to side more with the critics on this one, because let's just examine exactly what they're saying. here. All right. Supporters. They need a single national standard to compete with China and reign in big tech. Your enemy. They're throwing your enemy right into the first statement. You see,
Starting point is 00:39:02 we've already been propagandized to believe that China is, of course, the enemy and who likes big tech, big anything. I mean, I'm a very anti-big government, big tech, big pharma, big med, big agra. How many more bigs can I be angry at? But right there, they're tailings. They're tailors. the message to get you on board with them right off the bat and then bring in the flowers it's just like your vaccine or medication commercials right it's the same same principle here let's get the flowery message okay because it's going to protect the kids you got to protect the kids look at what AI is capable of protect the children sign up to have your liberties taken.
Starting point is 00:39:54 We'll give you back a few privileges. But those liberties, those freedoms, got to have peaceful slavery over dangerous freedom, right? Safeguard free speech. It's doing the exact opposite. And just like so many of the laws that have been passed, think the Patriot Act, for example,
Starting point is 00:40:15 they always name it something or say something about it that is going to actually be the exact opposite. No, this will not safeguard free speech. They get to decide what's free speech. They get to decide certain subject matters that are taboo. Support creator spur innovation. Spur innovation? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:40:42 I think the government will be taking complete control of any innovative ideas. In power communities, which communities specifically are you talking about here? which ones will be empowered and which ones will be left in the dust and prepare americans for an a i driven economy prepare us prepare us so that you don't get a little bit angry when the i takes over your job and there are so many so many within america's infrastructure that AI will do just that. And we look at what the critics are saying. Identity-gated access.
Starting point is 00:41:22 That's right. No longer would you be able to post something. I mean, you're kind of not already able to do this now anyway. But certainly there are some that are a little bit more capable when it comes to tech. They could hide behind some firewalls, some VPNs, whatever, and post things. Still be anonymous. But not anymore. No, they'll know exactly who you are.
Starting point is 00:41:52 And more importantly, exactly what you're posting. Continuous monitoring, traceable content. This all sounds rather dystopian and rather terrifying. And it also does something else. It doesn't allow for competition. You see, this is something that the whole world used to marvel at within the United States
Starting point is 00:42:20 are competitive nature and the family fathers envisioned a collection of competitive states their innovation would thrive and the states would be competing directly with each other to see who could be the best and that trickled down to the people as well
Starting point is 00:42:41 where people were constantly improving striving, creating. But they don't want that anymore. They want the government to control it all. See, New York, and I think California as well, have already pushed out laws
Starting point is 00:43:01 for that the state would be in control of the AI within their borders. But if this federal law is to pass, you can say goodbye to those laws. You can say goodbye to any adherence to the 9th and 10th amendments our Bill of Rights. No, now it'll be a federal...
Starting point is 00:43:24 a federal organization. I can't imagine what they're going to name this one. I'm sure it'll be something clever. It'll control all of this. Everything. And look, many of you are already using AI as a benefit. I've even used... artificial intelligence a few times.
Starting point is 00:43:47 But you're using it. And now the government's going to have a way into your company, into you, the individual, watching everything you do, everything you're looking up. See, there's been ways around it, certain search engines that are a little more, more privacy oriented. Not anymore. Not with artificial intelligence, no. and in fact
Starting point is 00:44:15 if you're using one that is not strictly controlled by the government well then you could very quickly find yourself to be an enemy of the state you're using that dark web it's so scary it's so terrifying run and hide
Starting point is 00:44:31 lock the doors scoop up the children run to your daddy government because they're the ones that will always keep you safe I am 100% opposed to this, and any person who believes in freedom should be opposed to this. But it's always the same agenda, isn't it? It's always the same narrative.
Starting point is 00:44:59 You would think they would come up with something new, but why should they? This has worked for so long, so very long. Fear. Crisis solution. We all see it. Artificial intelligence is a great threat. And artificial intelligence can make things that your children are going to have access to, that you don't want them seeing.
Starting point is 00:45:26 So who better than the government to step in, to seize control and to regulate so that we can keep you safe? Look, guys, in all honesty, with every truth, bomb that I can sign. common. This world is a dark and evil place. No one is going to dispute that. And yeah, raising your kids in this fallen world can be very, very tiring, very troublesome, very frustrating. Your kids are going to hear things. They're going to see things. And through a good relationship, one that doesn't include the government, you're going to be able to have those conversations with your kids. Look, I know you saw this. I know you heard this. Dress it before it even becomes an issue. You're going to have a conversation with them.
Starting point is 00:46:32 They're going to respect you as their parent. And you're going to tell them this isn't right for you. This leads down a path of pain and misery. Or we could take the alternative. And we could raise our kids up to believe that government is our daddy, is our parent. And then, they always know what's best for us. And the end result of that mentality is one of tyranny. That's one of government coming in and dictating everything that you do, dictating what you watch. Sure, right now it might seem like, hey, government's protecting us from porn.
Starting point is 00:47:14 But what about when the government decides that speaking out against homosexuality is a thought crime, which already occurred. nations all across this world. You see, this is why our founding fathers preferred that dangerous freedom. Freedom is dangerous. It's powerful. But it's what you make of it. It's the difference between liberty and libertine.
Starting point is 00:47:46 Liberty has to have, has to be attached to morality only found in the good book. Without it, you either get the extremes of I will do whatever I want for my own pleasure, or you get the extreme end of censorship, of looking to the government to be the provider and solution for all.
