I'm looking forward to it, man. You know, this is, and, you know, technology keeps changing, keeps giving me answers, and I really am enjoying that. Technology and availability of technology keeps changing

and giving me answers to big problems in the preparedness world. world. And we're really just getting started, man. You know? How far are we away where we own our own water systems and our own power systems from cradle to grave? You know what I mean? Or where they can be set up anywhere we go. And I'm talking without drilling a well. I'm talking without, you know, just think outside of the box. You know what I mean? Because, I don't know, it's a fun time to be alive. I don't know. I can't tell you. anything about news and threats and all that kind of stuff, I've been completely divorced of it for a while. I've been busy writing and prepping at large. It's been good. So I'm not going to go on and on today.

We'll get back to that kind of stuff tomorrow. We will have Troy on from Faraday containers. He will be on National Preparedness Months live tonight, which will happen at 9.30 rather than not. because we have our emergency comms group tonight. So his show will be a little later than normal. I mean, it's an unbelievable system. You know, if you wanted to create the best system for medical readiness, like, that is it. No doubt about it. So, you know, we keep doing our thing. Hopefully you're doing your thing. We've got a real stretch of autumn weather hitting Richmond, Virginia, this coming week, and I'm looking forward to it.

It's good coffee drinking weather, you know what I mean? Good coffee drinking weather, good fire pit weather, kind of stuff. Oh, you know, one of the big challenges, folks, is you put the onus on yourself, you set the goals, you do the things, you get prepared, and it's hard to get really mad and upset at the world. It's really hard to get upset and mad at politicians. You know, I'm talking to my dad today while we were watching the Eagles game, and he echoed the same thing I've been saying for weeks, which is why don't know.

they just kill the gas tax here in the state of Virginia to help everybody out with the gas prices instead of just complaining about Donald Trump and his gas prices? And then my dad said, yeah, they could do the state and they could do the federal. And how much money would every American be sending? I mean, saving, rather. And whatever, you know, that's one of those good talking points that ends at a viral ex post, right? Everybody reads it, everybody gets mad, everybody goes, yeah, yeah, and then you know what he also said? He said, people got to write in.

People got to call. People got to tell the government local and state and federal. They got to bitch. They got to complain. And I think what happens is, or what has happened is, they realize that the average person will just bitch enough on social media that it'll fill their cup and then they'll go on about their day. And then the government doesn't have to face it.

So I think we'll be. You might have to reposition the turrets. You might have to reposition the turrets and put our problems in the laps of the people who can help, right? Like there's nothing anti-fascist 10010 on X is going to do to help your gas price. But we can definitely figure out the levers of pressure to put, you know, real pressure on the people who could come to the Senate floor and see. say, hey, we're going to kill the gas tax. We're all in the same boat. We're all on the same page about gas prices too high. Kill the tax.

Temporarily. And then maybe we can pull a government move. Governments do this thing where they'll put a cost in place and say it's short term. They'll put a tax in place and say it's short term that it never goes away. Maybe we can figure out how to do the opposite on our end. figure out how to make a tax disappear and tell the government, yeah, we'll pay it in the future, and then never pay it in the future. I don't know.
