A person who advocates and practices preparedness.
One ready for any event that would disrupt their daily routine. That
is a prepper.
Hello, hello,
hello everyone out there in
internet radio land. This is Dave
Jones, the NBC guy, coming
to you on the 4th of July
Eve.
Yeah, the Eve
of our independence.
A little bit of a history lesson.
You ready?
The fighting had already begun.
When we declared our independence,
the fighting amongst the British and the militia had already begun.
We found that the British acts were intolerable, the intolerable acts, and we declared our independence. And it was as much a thing to England as it was to the rest of the world.
Like France and Spain and Portugal.
We declared ourselves a nation.
A free and independent nation to the world.
And pretty much the world watched
as this experiment,
which would later become the United States,
unfolded.
It is mind-boggling
and has to be divinely inspired
that everything
had to come in place for this to happen.
It's almost inconceivable.
But when you throw God in the mix
nothing is impossible. And that
is what we've showed for 248
I think it's 48 years.
That this experiment in human freedom
is the model
for the world.
Everything else collapses.
Now, we are being taken over by evil forces,
but you know what?
I believe truth and justice will prevail.
You know, I didn't start the daily audio cache with this.
It was actually two things.
So, the 4th of July is tomorrow.
I asked Marie if we're doing anything
and she said, no, we're losing weight. We're not having a cookout.
We're not eating. You know, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And she says
we're not. And
okay, we have lost weight.
I think it's been more due to the heat
and building.
I'm building an aviary.
Avi-something.
Where pigeons flock to.
Pigeons are pretty much automatic.
We're finding that out.
I'm building them a bigger habitat.
So you'll get to hear all about that.
But I want to ask you,
when are you all in?
When do you push your chips across the table
and say, I am all in.
I'm done dipping my feet in the water.
I'm done, you know,
fringing around the edges.
I think there's something there,
but maybe, you know,
when are you all in?
And I'll tell you when it happened here at the Jones Homestead.
And I had to do some reflection on this
because, wow, I've been a prepper a long time.
And I didn't think I was a prepper, okay?
Oh, those are those crazy people. Oh yeah, I'm not that.
I was
working in Washington D.C. and our home was in Pennsylvania
and
I told people how we live and they all said, oh you're a prepper.
You're a prepper. I said, oh, you're a prepper, you're a prepper. I said, no, I am not a prepper.
I'm just prepared, right?
So we had a water filtration system that would turn off when there were so many gallons through the system
so you could change the filter.
And it turned off.
And Maria called me and said,
oh my gosh, I can't get any water. And I said, that's okay, honey. Go into the garage and get
the emergency water and you can use that till I get home and change the filter. And that's when I said to myself dang I must be a prepper
okay
that's one thing
that is a step
it's an incremental step
when are you all in?
when do you push your chips across the table
and say this is it
and I've realized that my moment was
when I buried a 1,500 gallon septic tank in my backyard for a root cellar slash bomb shelter.
For a root cellar slash bomb shelter.
Okay.
That's when I realized I'm all in.
I'm all in.
This is it.
I think this is going to happen.
And it's going to happen in my lifetime. And I want to be ready for it.
Now, I'm not saying that you should go out
and spend up your credit cards
because all debt's going to be erased
and all that kind of stuff.
I am just saying you need to come to terms
with your mindset.
I think, and I'm not the only one that thinks this,
there's a lot of people that think this,
that we are going to be tested like we've never been tested before.
You know, hurricanes, natural disasters,
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
We got that.
And we did that.
And we were tested we're going to be tested
on a level
we have never been tested before
and it's going to happen
truly
within the next year
I'm not Nostradamus
okay
but I start thinking about these things like,
when did I really decide this was it? And if you pay someone, by the way, I did a video on this,
and if you want to know how I buried a 1,500 gallon septic tank in my backyard for around $1,000,
email me, nbcguy at protonmail.com.
I'll send you the video.
You will see how I did it, how I got the septic tank delivered
and put in my hole
for $500
yeah
anyway
yeah I didn't think this was going to be a commercial
I'll be at prepper camp
if you want to get the
the disc
the memory stick,
and it has a whole bunch of other stuff on there.
Come to Prepper Camp.
But, gosh, where am I going with this daily audio cache?
I'm realizing the moment when I was all in, and I wanted to share that.
That's pretty much it.
I mean,
pigeons is what I'm building.
I'm all over the place here.
I'm going to post this no matter what.
I have like six daily audio caches I've never posted because I was all over the place.
I'm posting this one.
Just because I think it's important.
Anyway, I know some other hosts that are all in.
I'm not going to name them
they can name themselves
you know
when they come on
they can say yeah I'm all in
I'm all in
and
we have
adapted
to a lifestyle that we produce our own food.
We live with the seasons and the cycles and we pretty much know what we can do and what
we can't do.
And that's what I'm saying.
Capabilities and limitations.
You have to know that.
This has turned into a prepper rant.
Okay, the government can do whatever they want.
Do your thing.
Just leave me alone.
And that's what we're doing here.
We're up on the side of a mountain.
We're doing our thing. I have 10 turkeys,
three goose, untold amount of chickens. The pigeons are on automatic mode. If you want
a protein source that is pretty much automatic, pigeons. We purchased some pigeons, we
got them, and we didn't do
much other than provide them a place to nest, and
it was in an old rabbit hutch that we had.
Too complicated. But
some of them didn't survive.
The ones that did are producing,
and now we probably have over 20 pigeons.
And they just, they're on automatic.
Every month they lay two eggs.
Those two eggs are watched over by the male and the female.
And they just continue.
Very little feed because they forage on their own.
Water and a place to live.
And pigeons. Who knew?
pigeons. Who knew?
Look, I don't know how this is all going to go down.
Joe Biden is, well, you know what Joe Biden is.
Donald Trump is in position to sweep,
as big a sweep as Reagan did, even with the cheating that they can do now.
Because, you know, back when Reagan took 49 out of 50 states, they didn't have electronic voting.
They had ballots and it was all mechanical.
You flip the switch, you pull the lever, yeah,
and it casts your vote.
Far, far more difficult to cheat.
You know, technology gives you the greatest advantage to cheat. You know, technology gives you
the greatest advantage to cheat.
Anyway, I want to end this by saying,
did you listen to the I Am Liberty?
Man, I am a part of Ammo Squared.
I love it. I get the same feeling that James gets. I am a part of Ammo Squared.
I love it.
I get the same feeling that James gets.
Put it on automatic.
I listened to the show.
I didn't know I could change calibers because you know what?
When I went on there,
I listed every caliber I had
to include.357.
Now I don't need too many of them.
So, I'm swapping it up.
I'm going to go in there, and I get my first shipment this month.
And maybe I'll do an unboxing.
James, if you're listening, I'll do an unboxing
video of my
ammo from Ammo Squared
and I'll send it to you
you can put it on the members side if you want
but yeah I got that feeling too
because you know you're like
and what's great about Dan was
the CEO of AmmoSquared, he said it's like a 401k for ammo.
And I equated it to investing in the stock market with dollar cost averaging.
So where you put in $100, this month you get more stock,
next month you get less stock,
but over time,
you get a consistent portfolio.
And this is for ammunition.
Okay?
Do you know the reason they call a shot a shot?
It's because whiskey was 25 cents and a 45 long colt was worth 25 cents.
So when a cowboy came in off of the trail and he didn't have money in his pocket,
he would put a shot up on the bar,
and he would get a shot of whiskey for that shot.
There you go.
I'm ending it with that.
That is why a shot is called a shot.
Take care.
Prep on.
And don't forget to celebrate your independence.
