To oppose tyranny and fight for the rights our Creator bestowed us in the United States Constitution, we are the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
Hello, hello, hello everyone out there in Internet Radio Land.
This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy, back from his week-long trip.
And I must say that all of our preparations worked.
Worked.
Okay?
So there's going to be some future content coming on PBN.
You hear that?
I'm turning on all my computers.
I haven't checked mail.
Haven't checked much email. I mean, I have been out of the loop on vacation, living it up large on the Jersey Shore.
I got to tell you, in this daily audio cache, I'm going to give you my impressions of what's going on in the world, seeing it from the outside in.
Because there were some interesting things that happened to me while I was gone.
You know, something always interesting happens.
It's just sometimes it's hilarious.
Sometimes it's just terribly funny.
So, gosh, where do I start?
Man, the intrepid commander is leaving.
I am liberty.
I, you know, I listen.
I only got to listen to about half, you know.
And sometimes, because I've been duped before on his April Fool's stuff, sometimes he, you know, makes a joke about that.
So I was concerned.
I was like Chin, you know, when he announced that.
And I said, wait a minute, wait a minute.
Maybe he's joking.
Maybe.
I understand, though.
I totally understand.
And ladies and gentlemen, the intrepid commander has the finger on the pulse of this country in prepperdom.
Okay, like no one I know of.
If this man says it's ready for a change, it is ready for a change.
And man, we are all there.
The Democratic National Convention, I didn't see a minute of it,
but I know it was a week-long series of lies
with little to no policy discussion.
Okay?
It was like a cheerleading
for the left.
They are not interested
in being centrists anymore.
For whatever reason,
the international left
has pushed all their chips
across the table
and they are all in. And if you know what that means,
you should be prepping your butt off.
The left has never given up power
voluntarily. And I don't know how this is going to go down.
The only thing I know is, it is going to go down.
And when the only thing I know is it is going to go down and when the intrepid commander says three months by God you better get three months
you better be able to isolate yourself
secure your position
for three months or longer
and I'm super happy that we got to take this vacation
because it might be the last one for a long, long time.
I'm just saying.
I'm not predicting.
I'm just worried, you know.
Just the state of affairs in the United States and the world, I mean, in an article I read the headlines, 17 ships are going into dry dock because we don't have enough sailors to man them. When the rest of the world is on fire and on the brink of World War III, we don't have
enough men.
This is just exactly what happened in World War II.
In World War II, we had just finished World War I, the Great Depression.
The defense budget was cut by 50%.
And there was a bill before Congress to reduce the standing army to nothing but guard and reserve.
We were not going to have a standing army.
And it almost passed.
Now, from my perspective, at Joint Base Dix-Maguire,
Lakers, whatever you want to call it,
it was like a ghost town.
I mean, I noticed it right off.
But Maria came around to saying,
it seems like this place is on life support.
That they're just trying to keep enough people here to keep it going.
Because everything was dead.
The pool was dead.
The bowling alley was dead.
I didn't go to the club.
The PX was dead.
I mean, every place we went,
the air activity was minimal.
Minimal.
And no troops. Minimal. And no troops.
Another thing.
Just a personal observation.
Okay?
Whenever I went through a gate, a military gate, in the past,
even though I was retired, or in civilian clothes,
I got a salute.
I never got a salute this time. Now I
am not about being saluted.
For those of you who know me, know that that ain't me.
I'm just saying that there is
there's not the level
of proficiency,
professionalism, and people.
There's three Ps for you.
Proficiency, professionalism, and people
that were there.
And McGuire was a hub for material transport.
And, man, it was dead.
I did see one unit pull in,
and it shocked me because it was a chemical unit.
And I actually saw some guys at the PX,
and I said, hey, what's the chemical corps doing here at Fort Dix?
And they said, we're here for annual training, sir.
So it was a reserve unit in on annual training.
So just, I don't know, a sad state of affairs for our military.
And I have some military friends.
for our military.
And I have some military friends.
I text them in the background questions. And it seems we've come to the same conclusion
that the United States military
is a hollow shell of what it once was.
And, you know, they say recruitment is down 25%.
Now that's insane. You know, they say recruitment is down 25%.
Now that's insane.
And with so many of the middle management,
look, the same thing happened during Obama, okay?
He came in with all these crazy policies
and people were getting out.
And now we got the what's your pronouns
and trans gender surgery
and all that kind of crap,
which has no place in the military.
No place.
Anyway, that's my editorial hey uh the uh matter of facts guys actually phil ravele
uh google it he did a great uh youtube video on a man pack uh gmrs radio if you do not have your gmrs radio license i have to say
what is wrong with you okay trump brought the price down to 35 bucks and it's for everybody in the family. I can't remember if it's 7 or 10 years.
No test.
You can broadcast up to 50 watts.
And it seems to be the go-to prepper network.
So, ladies and gentlemen,
so ladies and gentlemen
get your GMRS
radio hand license
I mean
and get your radio
get hooked in
oh someone's knocking
it might be Larry
yes it was
my good friend and highly
armed neighbor, Larry.
He was the guy that was watching the homestead while we were gone.
And it went well.
Everything worked.
Not that I should be amazed.
But, you know, you go away, expect something to be not quite right. This fell over, that turned off,
everything worked. Thank the
Lord. Thank the Lord.
We kind of
waited a last minute on a lot of that stuff, but I'm going to
send video to the Intrepid Commander
of how we set things up and what we did.
Now, the beach was just fine.
Everything was just fine.
It's just that that military base was a shell.
I mean an empty shell of what it once was
I just couldn't believe it
everything closed at 8
and I go and tell Maria
well the gas station's open
you know at least till 9 or 10
because at the gas station
you know it's like a mini market for the military
and you get gas, I mean, closed at 8.
Closed up at 8.
And that's during the weekend, too.
I just, I can't figure it out.
Other than, you know, if the troop strength is down, then everything's down.
There's just not enough there to support anything, so they close it down.
Sad. Very sad.
Yeah.
So, what is ahead?
Oh my gosh.
Huge. Huge.
Huge.
We're going to do a live election broadcast.
Okay?
That's coming up.
The fast that we're doing, this one's going to be a longer fast.
I'm still feeling the effects of the fast.
I'm sleeping good.
Energy levels are there.
You know, without supplemental energy drinks.
And I think Ben is still feeling the effects of the fast.
But he did it a little longer.
The longer you do it, the longer the effects.
I would like to try
an experiment in that
for a month, you do 72
hours, eat one day. 72 hours,
eat one day. I would like to try that experiment.
Because, wow.
Talk about build your confidence level.
That's a huge, huge confidence builder is fasting.
Because you have a frame of reference.
Your mind don't freak out on you when they say,
there's no food.
We're not going to eat for a few days.
Yeah, that's a confidence builder.
It's just like when we did the chamber exercise in the military.
For every military person out there, they know what this means.
The chamber exercise.
They would pump this room full of CS, tear gas.
And you would go in there with your masks on.
And you would breathe and it would be smoky in there and full of tear gas. You'd feel the tingle on the
back of your neck. Every place that you sweat you could feel it burning a little but you could
breathe and you could talk and you could function and then you took your mask off
and you got the full effect of the tear gas.
So that's what they call a confidence building exercise.
It builds confidence in your equipment
and your ability to use it.
So that's what a fast does.
I mean, hugely with your body.
You won't freak out like a person that has never fasted will freak out.
And it is 80% mental.
So I highly recommend fasting.
And so does Ben.
And so does the Intrepid Commander.
PBN family, you can tell I missed you.
You can tell I miss being in the saddle.
But it was good to be on R&R.
Rest and relaxation.
And it was good.
And now I'm back.
School starts for me on Monday.
And, well, we'll see what this year has.
We'll see what this year entails.
Looking forward to it.
Great anticipation, but no tribulation.
Take care, PBN family,
and I'll talk to you soon.
Dave Jones, the NBC guy, signing off.
