To oppose tyranny and fight for the rights are created bestowed us in the United States Constitution.
We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
Hello everyone out there in Internet Radio Land.
This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy.
I crack myself up sometimes.
I am heading up into the woods here to change the game cam sticks, memory sticks.
See what we got on there.
So recently we've had a bobcat.
which you don't see that very often
two bear
some turkey
some deer
and the fox
was all around here when we had the chickens up
so I don't know what we're going to get this time
we moved the chickens
this is the least amount of animals
we've had in probably 10 years
I would say
uh what is that oh a piece of wood
maria said if you get up there and change yet before it gets dark
the sun is down it's not dark enough to use your flashlight yet but it's getting dark
she said the bear will get you i said well if he bites me he'll only die
oh my so this past week at school i got to fill you in on this because it's kind of funny
a team another school's volleyball team canceled and uh and the coach said look it's the second to last
game i already paid for the ref uh would you be interested in being part of
staff versus team
volleyball. And I said, okay, I'll do that. You know, I'm thinking
two out of three, maybe we lose two games and go right home. You know,
make it quick, make it easy, make it painless. We played
five games. Five games. Oh my gosh, it was
torture. I was hurting for days after
that but it was fun and uh maria said no you're not gonna play i said come on i'm just gonna stand there
and just whack it she said no i know you you won't just stand there and i didn't i didn't i made
some good plays it was fun it was really fun uh so the intrepid commander got on there today
and said about Deerborn, Deerborn.
Let's see what the game cam says here.
Oh my gosh, is it off?
Don't tell me it's off.
Ooh, it says there's a thousand pictures on here.
That's definitely not off.
So the Intrepid commander said about Deerborn,
and you know what I say, you always got to be ready.
I have not heard any of the EBT riots
Oh my
There's 2,000 pictures on this stick
What the heck
Okay, well
It is what it is
And I'm going to just leave that one in there
I must not have
deleted them or something
They're time stamped
So that's good
So I'll be able to tell
you know
what's what
who's who and
when's when
you know
game cameras are good
but you got to know
their limitations
you know it's not like it's a live
picture
it's not like you're going to get
feedback or anything like that
but if you have a
place that you want to surveil
and you know
a place to put the camera
so it's not detected very well.
Oh, that says 159.
So there's something, something going on.
Sometimes the wind does it.
Sometimes the wind moves the bushes
and makes them go off.
Oh, come on you.
I have two cameras, kind of not quite facing each other,
but uh so you get an angle you know a better angle oh card error i don't think i like that
yeah so your game camera is definitely part of your security plan no sd card card
there we go now that one says 29 pictures so i must not erase these i usually erase them if
i'll move this a little bit there you're up here in the woods with me how about that
pbm family back of the house here
what else we got going on oh we cut down some trees we we planted some stuff um we're digging some stuff up
for ryan yep mr buford of the northwest passage uh he sent us some roots we we met up at prepper camp
Maria talked to him about roots and he said things that he wanted and so we got his package.
Now, I don't know if she, I think she's sprouting them right now.
You can tell I'm the unskilled labor in this organization here.
I don't even know what's going on.
But I think Ryan needed some elderberries, which we got tons, tons of elderberries.
They grow well up here on the mountain.
Just crazy good.
And some other stuff.
Marie has been cultivating all this for years probably since we've been here.
Yeah, we have some horseradish that we buried the year we got here.
We've just been digging it up ever since.
So whenever you wanted fresh horseradish, you just go out and dig up a piece or two.
of it and it keeps growing.
Things like that.
We're doing like the
permaculture kind of thing.
You know, where you put one thing
on top of another and it fertilizes
the other and then
it just keeps growing.
So we cut
down two fruit trees
that had some kind of
a blight on it. They were still alive
but we decided it would be
too hard to save them.
So we cut
cut those down and we transplanted two elderberries and then we put in a, what is it, Carpathian
walnut tree? I don't know. And she says, oh, we're going to get walnuts in just a couple
years. Well, I hope that's true. Because whenever I think a walnut tree, I think, you know,
75 years later, yeah, you have a tree. But that may not be true.
And is it getting cold in your area?
It's been off and on cold here.
I don't think we've had a real frost yet.
But the leaves have changed probably more than 50% off the trees.
And that's where we stand with the winter.
I'm doing some stuff.
Little projects here and there because I can only work on the weekends.
So what projects we got going on now?
Come on. Speak.
Let me clean the mushrooms.
Well, there you heard it.
You heard it right from the boss.
Let me clean the mushrooms.
Hey, when are we going to put up that mushroom tent?
Okay.
You have to buy me the kids first.
Yeah, well, the mushrooms stink.
You know that.
And to have this thing in the house.
Are you recording that?
Yes.
Let me throw something at you.
Don't throw anything.
Come on.
Yeah, so now I'm downstairs.
Sorry, sorry.
I didn't want to get hit up alongside the head with the frying pan.
No.
She wouldn't have done that.
She would have used something softer.
Anyway, PBN family.
Wait, did you hear Future Dan was back this week on Patriot Power Hour.
They had an anniversary and you got a little understanding of the behind-the-scenes working of future danger.
It was very good, very good episode.
Gosh, what else can I tell you?
Just that, you know, I hope you had a happy Halloween.
We did all kinds of stuff, mainly for Deanna's senior trip.
It was raise money for the senior trip, and we ended up selling cookies.
I don't know if you know the brand name David, David's cookies, but there's
They're really big.
They're about as big as your hand.
And they sold very well.
So senior trips coming up in May, it's something that the school does to celebrate the seniors.
Last year they went to, oh, where did they go, Pigeon Forge.
And they went to a young mother's counseling area.
you know, people that get rescued from abortion and stuff like that.
So it was very good.
I hope this year we can do something equally as well and meaningful.
But we'll see.
We'll see.
I'm on the trip, too, by the way.
So, and all of it's going good.
Going good here at the Jones homestead, just busy, you know.
You keep prepping away, keep prepping away.
I don't know.
The government's not opening, not going to open.
So we'll see how this EBT thing shakes out.
I hope everything's good, that they fix everything and that the midterm election is bad for the Democrats.
So there you go.
So take care.
And prep on.
