A person who advocates and practices preparedness.
One ready for any event that would disrupt their daily routine.
That is a proper.
Hello, all you preppers out there in Internet Radio Land.
This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy coming to you on a Sunday.
And if I seem like I'm overcaffeinated or have too much energy,
that is because I am halfway through my 72-hour fast.
And this is what you can expect.
Maria and I have been fasting for years, years.
Back when I actually had a job and worked other than teaching,
teaching is not just a job, it's an adventure.
Okay, so to borrow a tagline from, I think it was the Army,
not just a job, it's an adventure.
Or maybe it was the Navy, I'm not sure, from way, way back, way back.
We don't ask for experience, we give it.
That was another good one.
Anyway, I'm digressing, you know, having mental.
Your brain will have these spurts of energy.
You will have spurts of energy.
I know it seems counterintuitive, but that's what happens on a fast.
The first 24 hours is the hardest.
Just know that.
And once you get through that first 24 hours,
hours, man, it is unbelievable.
And if you get a little down or you get a little tired or you're feeling a little groggy
or dizzy or whatever, get you just a pinch of, I use pink Himalayan salt.
So it's really, really good.
And it's like a rush to the brain.
I mean, it almost instantly corrects everything that's wrong and you're back at it.
so we decided to do it on the weekend because well you know I'm teaching and I have to I can't have these ups and downs and spurts of energy and all that so we're going to end it Monday night Monday night when I come home so I'll have one day at school and then we're going to we're going to finish it but we've done 40 an hour
hour, 72 hours. We've done a week.
Maria did like, I don't know, it was almost 30 days, almost 30 days.
And there's a guy in, I think he has a clinic in Mexico or something like that, somewhere in Central America.
He claims to be able to cure cancer with fasting.
And you medically check in and he puts you through the,
these protocols and monitors you daily, and when you think about it, if you don't have,
because cancer feeds on carbohydrate, sugar, you know, and if it doesn't have anything to feed on,
not only that, your autophagy, when you get in the autophagy zone is where your cells are
eating the bad cells.
So it would make sense that the cells would eat cancer cells, because,
they're deformed, they're mutated, and anyway, that's not why I called.
I mean, called, yeah, I'm using my phone, so that's why I thought it was calling.
But we got the wood, the frost is on the pumpkin.
We found a guy that really good price, and it's oak, and all we got to do is split it.
So I got the splitter down, haven't run the splitter, and geez, when was Joe Biden elected?
No, it hasn't been that long, but it's been a long time.
Probably, well, probably four years, yeah.
And cleaned it up, got it ready, drained the gas, of course.
And, man, it started right up yesterday.
So thank the Lord.
right and we split about a quarter of what we got and stacked it up we're going to go out there
and do some more splitting now you may not want to you may want to control the amount of
activity while you're fasting we decided to do exactly what we had planned but we've done
this fasting before so if it's your first time out and of course if you have men
medical problems, do not, do not do this. Do not do the fast. If you have any kind of health
issues, diabetes, for sure, can't do it, you know. But anybody else, any of the preparers that,
you know, fit, healthy, it's a great way to drop a few pounds in a short period of time.
Yeah. And I wanted to talk to you about the, you,
government shut down. Every day I go to class and I say to the students, anybody else feeling the
government shut down and no one says anything. And then I say, see, how much government do we
really need? And it did affect this, though. We planned a field trip to the Marine Corps Museum
in Quantico and it's been closed because of the government shutdown. So we postponed it
twice now. And it looks like we're going to have to postpone it a third time.
I may just redo everything and start over and tell the parents, we'll try this again when
the government opens back up. Yeah, maybe something like that.
Anyway, PBM family, I hope you're doing great. I hope you're prepping on.
I managed to get a nice buy at Costco.
It's one of those battery, inverter, charger, air pump things.
And it's a caterpillar, you know, cat.
It's nice, it's little, supposed to do 1,700 watts.
So it could jump your car.
But the reason I got it is only $49.
It was on final clearance, half price.
And it has, what is it, a 200-watt inverter built into it?
You know, which will power, you know, electronics and things like that.
Let me see here.
Let me see.
30-watt charging, 15 watts.
Where is it?
Let me see if I can read it on the box.
I know I'm taking you all over the office here.
There we go.
Yeah, I think it's a 200-watt inverter,
which I thought was pretty good, you know, for recharging things.
it will do a USBC at 30 watts
and it would do a USBA at 15 watts
Yeah, 1,750 amps of power
has a small LED built-in light
and 200-watt inverter.
Yeah, 200-watt inverter, so there you go.
49 bucks and it's it's pretty light pretty small very compact um final clearance yeah well that's
about all i have stay tuned to pbn boy i'm telling you let's see what what did i get a chance to i
listened to the intrepid commander this week the patriot power hour always always a great show uh if
If you're looking for a prepper news kind of show, that's the closest thing we got to that.
And then I listened to a little bit of, oh, I'm going to listen to Reliance.
Reliance today.
Ah, my week, my week always goes well when I listen to Reliance, Stephen Manking, the chaplain of PBN.
Okay, PBN family, I'm going to sign off.
