Starting point is 00:00:07 To oppose tyranny and fight for the rights are created to the Stodas in the United States Constitution. We are the proper broadcasting network. Hello, everyone out there in Internet Radio Land. This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy. Coming to you on this. Memorial Day. Yes, Memorial Day. And we are happily celebrating Memorial Day by putting up fences and archers and things like that.
Starting point is 00:00:46 No cookout for the Jones Stead. Yeah, we have the sound of freedom going on next door. And those that know what that is, know what that is. And those that don't, well, gas. And speaking of which, before I get into gasoline, because I got to talk about gasoline. We had another power outage, okay? A lot of rain.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Let's see what happened. The rain got into the, the transformer made a connection, arched across, burnt the pole. So the very thing that caused the power outage also saved the force from burning down because everything was so wet around that pole, it didn't go any further than the pole.
Starting point is 00:01:36 So the pole got completely charred, charred. We were without power for almost 24 hours. got to test the Pocklink with the Intrepid Commander. At first, it did not work because the cell towers went down, you know, because the power outage, they only have a limited amount of battery time. And then when I went out, let's see, in my driveway,
Starting point is 00:02:06 I guess I was able to pick up another cell tower and got two or three bars and we connected. So remember that at all, operates off of 4G, and 4G is probably the most used network in the world. Okay. So before 5G came out, everything was 4G, and it's still around. So it worked. The Pocklink worked. I just had to run around outside till I found a tower. And it will flash red if it's not picking up a tower. And then when it does pick up a tower, the Pock Link actually tells you Pocklink now connected.
Starting point is 00:02:54 So then I knew I was connected and I could talk and it was flashing green. So there you go. Pocklink is a good thing to have on hand for backup communications. And boy, so it talked. you know, over 150 miles, clear as a bell, clear as a bell. Calling it a radio, I mean, it is a radio, but it works as good as a cell phone. Better. No number to dial, you just push to talk.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Pretty darn good. So power went off. Gasoline, I have gallons and gallons of gasoline stored up. because of Biden. And probably half of it is bad gas. And I did not do a good rotation or marking the gas cans. I know I have newer gas cans
Starting point is 00:03:58 and that has newer gas in them. But don't throw your old gas away. It can be used for many, many, many different things. It's just don't put it in your, your generator. Now, how can you tell bad gas? Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:18 The gas that's good will be clear, almost white. I mean, it will be clear. Bad gas has a yellow tinge to it. So if you're unsure, cut the top
Starting point is 00:04:33 off of a water bottle, pour some in the water bottle, look at it up in the light, and if it is yellow, and it will get more and more yellow as it gets weaker and weaker and more like, what do you call it, varnish. That's actually what happens is it forms a scum over your carburetor like varnish. And if you don't clean that out or flush that out, it'll gum up your carburetor and, man, then you'll have problems. so that's why you should always have a fuel shut off going into your carburetor which I don't have on this generator and it's just upsetting me so bad but I've used the generator now twice in the past week so the gas is going through it
Starting point is 00:05:28 so that's my tip on gasoline if you're not sure before you dump it in the tank cut off the top of a water bottle, pour it in there, look at it through the light, and if it is yellowish, you know, it can go all the way to like an orange tint, yellowish, orange, maybe reddish, it should be clear or white-looking. We used to call it, when unleaded gasoline first came out, we used to call it white gas. because that's the way it looked. And so that's my tip on the gasoline. Now, let me go on to what's going on here in Virginia. And I have to say, don't they know, haven't they learned? And what I mean by they is Democratic politicians.
Starting point is 00:06:33 I happen to be in a, what do they call it, rural king, If you've never been to a rural king, it's like tractor supply and Walmart had a baby. Okay. It's huge. It's massive. It's like a Walmart. Okay. Because they just cut open the boxes and put the stuff out there.
Starting point is 00:06:54 And it has tractor supply stuff all over the place. If you can't find it at tractor supply, you can find it at rural king. And they also have a gun store. inside the rural king. So I had a little bit of a time away from the warden, and I just went over to talk to the guy. You know, and I said, hey, do you got any lowers?
Starting point is 00:07:22 He's a no-er-all-sold-out. Wow. I said, do you got any 30-round magazines? Nope, sold out of every one of them. What about any gun with a threaded barrel? Nope, sold out of those. Folding stocks, nope, sold out of those. So here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:07:42 This is a super popular place, great gun store, had very little stock up on the shelf, very little. Not that I need anything. Not that I need anything. But whenever they pass this crazy legislation, it makes you look at stuff you would have never thought of looking at. Like, I never found the need to get 80% lower. But I want one now. I want one. And this is what they're doing to the average citizen.
Starting point is 00:08:18 People that never thought about getting a firearm are running out to get the firearms between now and the 1st of July. And ultimately, I believe it is going to be struck down in the courts. if not the Virginia Supreme Court, the U.S. Supreme Court, because states cannot trample your rights. And I wish the Supreme Court would come in and just strike down every gun legislation that passed since 1939. Because they are all unconstitutional. If you read the Second Amendment, it says, will make no law infringing upon this right. You got to read the whole thing,
Starting point is 00:09:10 because they usually stop at the need for a well-regulated militia. They usually stop there. Yeah, read the whole thing. Anyway, that's the reason the sound of freedom's going on right now. They, you just, man, I don't know what these people, people are thinking, I may make one more gun purchase just because I'll give in to the feeding frenzy that is. And Trump made a deal.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Someone shot up the White House. I think he just wanted to die. He wanted suicide by cop. And that's the way to do it. Shoot at a building that houses the president. And chances are you're going to die in the process. So, and 50% of all Democrats think that Trump has faked at least one of his assassination attempts. Can you believe that?
Starting point is 00:10:21 I know. You don't mess around with guns. So what was Charlie Kirk? A fake assassination attempt that went wrong? Right? I mean, you don't play around with guns and guns. bullets. I don't care what it is. And the only reason that guy at the White House correspondence dinner isn't dead is he slipped and fell.
Starting point is 00:10:51 He slipped and fell on the ground. And that was how they were able to apprehend him because the one guy shot six times and never hitting. And that whole thing right there is just, gosh, I can't tell you how bad it was. We did a whole show on it. You can go back and look it up. But 50% of Democrats think that Trump has faked the assassination attempts. That's just plain crazy. They won't admit. They do not see reality for what it is. The rhetoric that has drove these mentally
Starting point is 00:11:42 unstable people to go shoot people up and it's worse now than ever because it's everywhere. It's on your phone, it's on your TV, it's everywhere.
Starting point is 00:12:00 So people are being bombarded with this and poof, what do you get in your mind? Oh, I got to go kill Hitler. Yeah, yeah. So let's see how the deal goes. I expect the price of oil to drop precipitously, at least for as long as this deal is going forward.
Starting point is 00:12:31 I do not trust Iran, and no one should. because they've never stuck to a deal, ever. And to say this time is different, well, I do trust Trump to know the difference and to be able to verify stuff that Barack Obama and Joe Biden never did. And let's not forget that for 12 years the Democrats had control. and it's only during Trump's second administration is he fixing everything. So, wow, there's there, that's my political rant for the day. Happy Memorial Day.
Starting point is 00:13:28 I am blessed that I never saw anybody die in combat. I don't know of anybody that died in combat. When I did the Joint Personal Effects Depot in Aberdeen, Maryland, I purposely stayed away from the people's names because after spending over 20 years in the military, you meet some people. So I tried to stay away from them because I did not want to know. And I do know of a man that I served with
Starting point is 00:14:14 in combat and he came back to the states did a completely different thing, went from the Navy to the Army, apparently had a stellar career in the Army, Army Intelligence, retired as an officer in military intelligence, ran for a state
Starting point is 00:14:44 house representative, something like that, and ended up contracting cancer. And he caught it too late. They did some treatment, but it was already too advanced. And he ended up passing away, and a few years back, we went to Arlington because he requested it to be buried in Arlington. Apparently, he had enough clout to, because not everybody gets, gets buried in Arlington. I mean, very nice, very nice funeral, very nice. The old guard did it.
Starting point is 00:15:33 So, you know, it was top notch. Real bugler, all that kind of stuff. Anyway, PVN family. Take care and prep on.
