We are the proper forecasting network. Hello, everyone out there in Internet Radio Land. This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy. How are you doing on this beautiful, beautiful Saturday? Oh, my gosh, it's so nice. I can't believe it. It's just no humidity. It's, uh, how can I describe it?

Sunny in the 70s. It's a perfect fall day. And, uh, we were going to butcher some chickens today, but we're going to let them get a little bigger. We are down on animals, probably the least amount of animals we've had in 10 years. And I'm liking it. I'm liking it. It's pretty easy. Freezers are full.

And we're going to start freeze drying again massively. But got back from Prepper Camp. Preper Camp was last weekend. I know you've been listening to the tips. So I recorded all of those before I went to prepper camp Because I didn't know what shape I'd be in when I got back It's quite the drive It was really really nice prepper cramp

Really nice Hopefully I can join the recap We're going to have a recap on Monday night You know school and all that geez, staying up to 9 o'clock is pretty hard for me and then do a show from 9 to 10. And then you're hyped up from the show and it's hard to go to sleep. And the school is going great this year, the new schedule, hour-long classes. They got me teaching gym five days a week, though.

That's kind of strange, the oldest teacher in the school teaching gym. But, yeah. So, PBN family, as I covered in my class this week, the government shut down. Is it affecting anybody? I know there's probably some government employees out there that are affected. I don't think it's going to be shut down very long. It's not a very good way of doing business. Because the American people, most of them are informed enough to know that this was all kabuki theater on the Democrats part.

You know, having health care for illegal aliens and funding, put 500 million back in funding for PBN, or PBN, not PBM. public broadcasting, it just, it's mind-boggling that that's what they're holding this up on. So, I think it'll be short-lived. And hey, how about them generals, huh? Did you listen to Patriot Power? Our guys, they had a great show. You got them generals together and told them the way it was going to be. Pete Hex-F's speech was phenomenal. I really liked what he said and how he said it. And I said in the back channel, dang, makes me want to join up all over again.

Yep. Then recruiting is good for all the services. Trump did that army celebration with the parade. And recruiting has, according to him, never been higher. So, yeah, Maria made a whole bunch of tinctures and jewelweed spray, and she had soap, it did not sell one soap and did not sell one hot sauce. So I don't know what's up with that, but we're going to try and get into some of these local farmers, markets. And she wants to open up an Etsy store because her tinctsters are more concentrated

and more powerful than anything you could buy out there on Amazon. And there's only two ingredients, the herb and alcohol. So, and all the herbs are either grown by her or foraged here on the Appalachian Trail. So that's where that is. And we'll see. I plan to, this is the plan, the current plan as we are today. But I plan for this to be my last year teaching. I'm going back to, I'm going to re-re-retire.

And back to the homestead lifestyle. So we'll see. We'll see. Like I said, the schedule's good. I like, even though it's tough. Physically, I like doing the gym because, hey, it keeps me in shape and I get to smoke youngsters. Who wouldn't like that, right? Yeah, I get them down in the push-up position.

They start screaming. It's funny. I said, I don't want to hear it. If a 69-year-old man can do this, you can do it. Yeah. Anyway, I don't know what else to say because we're going to talk about stuff on Monday night. And when the group gets together,

we always feed off each other's energy. And it's a great time. So hopefully everybody can join in and join the call and no technical difficulties. And hopefully I could stay up that late. Maybe if I take a long nap. Yeah. We were thinking about getting a pig.

This was before Prepper Camp. The lady has way too many pigs. And they are ready to be butchered right now, I say. They're probably 30, 40, 50 pounds. And they'd be nice. They'd be nice. But we'll see. We'll see because, wow, it's tough.

It's hard. You know, I had help last time. James came up and we butchered several pigs. He went home with one. And we got those. Unbelievable. Like $25, I think. $30, something like that.

The guy wanted to, you know, Cully's herd going into the winter because he didn't want to be, you know, feeding all these pigs. And he had quite a few. Anyway, that was the last time we did pigs like that. Put them in the cargo trailer, got them out one by one, put them in a pen. Then lifted them up with the tractor, you know, to skin them. let them bleed out and all that. Anyway, I hope I painted a really good picture there.

That's another thing. I'm teaching ag, agriculture, education. This is an elective that happens on Monday. And I brought some video of us processing rabbits. And the kids were at their limit there. And I asked the other teacher who's helping me, I said, Do you think that was too much?

And he said, no. They got to know, this is where their food comes from. It doesn't come from the back of a grocery store. So in case they never get to make a field trip out here to the Jones homestead and see all this. Okay, PBM family, I rambled enough. It's interesting to see what's going on. Peace is breaking out everywhere. Hamas has finally said,

okay, that peace plan, I'll come to the table with that. Well, the first thing they've got to do is release the hostages and all the bodies, the dead bodies they've been holding for two years. Yeah. Trump gave them until Sunday. And on the world stage, you know what Trump's deadlines mean, right? I ran Houthis

Who else did they give deadlines to? Well, you know, you usually get bombed right after the deadline expires and I mean immediately after the deadline expires. So, Houthis are at the table. This could be historic. You know, I did play his speech to the U.N. to the class and we talked about the establishment of the UN and what the UN has been doing

ever since it was established and they got a good idea how I feel about the UN. So there you go. Take care and prep on. Thank you.
