This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy. How are you doing on this Monday before Thanksgiving? Oh my goodness. I have the whole week off, so you may be hearing more of me this week. I'm pretty sure, unless the warden has too much work for me.

Right now we're finishing remodeling the downstairs bathroom. That's going to be a few days. And then I still got to finish that aviary out there. She is talking about selling the pigeons off because they keep kicking their babies out of the nest or the babies keep falling and it's too cold right now and they're dying and man, we don't need any more of this. We don't need any more of this.

So prepper tip. Prepper tips. James told me the other day that whenever I get on, the listenership goes up. So I know I have some peeps out there. I know I have some followers, some people that listen to the NBC guy. And I'm grateful for that. So I thought I'd tell you what was going on in my mind this weekend because some of you may not have this. So

I have over the years developed a list. This mainly started at the pandemic because we didn't have a good list of things that we should do if we're leaning forward. In the military, leaning forward means getting ready. Get everything ready because you might get called and you're keeping

your stuff wired tight. During the pandemic it was kind of, oh my gosh, we've got to do this. Oh, wait, wait, wait. We've got to do this. Oh, oh, oh. We've got to do this. So I said, you know what? We need to have a list of things that we do when the world starts looking a little shaky and, you know, the proper sense is tingling. We just go through X, Y and Z to lean forward, to get more ready than normal. And one of those things are, is, and I've been doing this pretty much the whole Biden administration, is

keeping my gas tank full. I do this in the wintertime to lessen the possibility of fuel line freeze up. So, you know, when you get down to half a tank, fill it up. Look for, you know, go to the place, fill it up. Don't let it get below a half a tank. And that's one thing. You may want to look at getting your gas cans filled,

which mine are all filled now. The last couple of times I haven't been able to use my points because it would mean going out and buying more gas cans. So I probably have some gas that's at the limit of storage, which I may just use for, you know, starting brush fires and stuff around here, burn it off that way. It may be too old to put in even small generators.

You know, another thing is, and this is during power outages, for long periods of time, like more than a day or two, I will start carrying around the property all the time. I will strap a gun on wherever I go because when the power's off, the bad guys know it and they may come and try and steal your stuff. So, we have power failures up here a lot and when it gets past a day or two,

you know, I'm out filling up the generator or doing something outside, I'm carrying. I did notice my neighbor Larry, he's carrying almost continuously now. So there you go, that's two little tips that you might want to put on your checklist. And since I mentioned gas cans, you know, any type of energy propane tanks, if you have extra propane tanks

keep them filled up, topped off. Do all the little things. Think about every time when your prepper sense is tingling, think about if this is the last time I get to go in town, what is it I need to top off? What is it I need to get one more of that I don't have right now? And I don't mean ammo. I don't have right now. And I don't mean ammo. I don't mean ammo.

Although I did get my second shipment of Ammo Squared about a week ago. Yeah, I timed that to come in right after the election. And if you're part of Ammo Squared, then you know what that is. So you're not going to keep it a secret, but at least not from the UPS guy. What other tips can I give you? You know, we hear the Jones homestead follow news in Europe, mainly because, you know, my wife has family in Romania.

Oh, they had an election and the far right conservative won. And he I knew that was Donald Trump version in Romania, because that's the way the AP categorized him. It's crazy that far right are people that believe there's only two genders. Gosh, that's that's only two genders. Gosh! That's amazing, right? People that actually believe in science are far right. And the people that believe in fairy tales,

they're supposed to be the normal people. Yeah. Just saying. Yeah, he's also against abortion he wants to make Romania energy independent okay so yeah a lot like Trump and this seems to be a phenomenon going on worldwide because we went too far the other way I'm expecting the Canadian people to follow suit and get rid of that POS. Trudeau.

Anyway, PBN family, whatever your list is, develop your list. You'll feel better if you're exercising a list that you can go to whenever you think the world is shaky. And you'll be that much more ready. And then if it doesn't materialize, just back off. Go back to the way things were. But that list will help you.
