Bucky come on our very own Sarah Hathaway her changing earth audio drama book series has been picked up by a Hollywood production company. Now what all this means, I don't know and how it's all going to go. I do not know.

But we are going to have, when I say we, I hope it's me and the Intrepid Commander, are going to have Sarah Hathaway on a show just to talk about this because this is big. This is really, really big. I'm so happy for her because, man, she has wanted this. She has this vision and she goes out and makes it happen. Yep, that's what you do. That's what preppers do. You get a vision, you make it happen.

If you're wondering what I'm doing. Maria made scrambled eggs for them yesterday. Clover didn't eat them all, so they're now frozen solid in her bowl. And I at least want to get them out. There you go. And Bucky, Bucky's too stupid to eat these scrambled eggs. Come here, Buck. Come here.

Come here. Let me give you this. You'll like this. There. Okay. They got nice accommodations. Insulated boxes. She found some old blankets that we had.

We gave them those old blankets. And they are snug as a bug and rug. We have water bowls that are plugged into the electricity so that they stay warm. Their temperature activated, so they just don't stay warm all the time. They kick on when it gets below zero and it keeps their water from freezing. Now I'm going to take you over to the chicken coop, which is great that they're right next to each other.

Egg production has been down, but we have a one of those black bins that you see at home. that you see at Home Depot all the time with the yellow lid. We have one of those completely full of packets of freeze-dried eggs. So I'm pretty sure we got enough eggs for the foreseeable future. We started doing that last year, a little over last year. and there you go guys there you go

there's an egg oh they're lining up above there we also save the scraps scraps eggshells what have you let's see what we got

treasure oh two in here nice our neighbors they oh right another one their chickens keep coming over

and we think we have we have added to our flock without having to incubate because the eggs that we're getting right now are strangely colored for our chickens look at seven eggs seven eggs good job ladies

good job yeah let me top off this water here they have the same deal and she put a red light up for them at the top of the roost so if they want a little bit of heat

this used to be the male goat pen now it is a chicken coop I added a automatic door to it and some roost and some laying nests. I also used the rabbits nests, wooden rabbit nests. Chickens, you put a little sawdust in there, they'll lay in there. So the rabbit nests are getting like double duty.

he said duty every time every time I say that in in my history class and then I say oh he said duty the class just starts laughing beavis and butthead I think

I don't know who who said that anyway going back up the hill I'm glad that these guys are at the same location that we stop going up the hill and then down the hill and taking feed and water in both directions.

You might hear me fall here. Mashed a few eggs. Falling. Yeah, not bad for 69, huh? Yeah, not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was. Yeah, something like that. Okay, we're back up here at the house.

What else can I tell you? I got to split a few more pieces of wood. Monday night's supposed to be just apocalyptic cold. Not the coldest it's ever been here, but below zero, which is no joke. freeze things break you know oh let's see I'm back underneath the rabbit tin split a little bit of wood I don't have much kindling this year should have went around and gathered up all the twigs it were all in the yard for the kindling you know didn't do it so if you're taking notes that's a bad thing I got

I have a small generator 3,600 watts I got that baby fired up yesterday it's brand new I found it this was a few months back I think you might have heard when I found it it was quite a fine 200 bucks at Walmart actually less than 200 So that's an auxiliary backup and if Larry needs it I can take it over to him it's pretty small I can carry it if it doesn't have gas in it and you'll do the job you'll do the job keep your fridge going maybe power heater heater's around a thousand watts you know So if you're calculating, air fryers 800 to 1600, depending upon the model. Small microwaves are 800.

So you figure up you can make, you know, something, you can cook something and eat it. You don't have to live on peanut butter and jelly. Hey, I think I hear the snowplow. I'm going to go over there and see what that is. Kind of sounds like the snowplow, but kind of sounds like something else. Oh, it's up the road. It's up the road.

Anyway, back to splitting. Back to splitting. It's a way to, you know, manage your weight in the wintertime. And before I got the hydraulic splitter, that was my weight loss program. Yeah, I was with the mall splitting it. Now, that'll give you some huffing and puffing there, boy. But a few years back, I got the hydraulic, and now it makes easy work of it.

Well, I mean, easier work. not I'll tell you if you do that your back's hurting you do that for a day you know you did it hey while you're listening you might be able to hear me hit my fingers not that I'm clumsy but accidents do happen wouldn't that be something live on PBN
