A person who advocates and practices preparedness.
One ready for any events that would disrupt their daily routine.
That is a clever.
Hello, all you've prepared?
out there in Internet Radio Land.
This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy.
Merry Christmas.
Well, Christmas came a little early for me right here because I got another day off of school.
Yeah, we got a winter wonderland going on here in northern Virginia.
I guess everybody's afraid of snow.
I don't know what it is.
You know, it's winter.
It is supposed to snow.
in the winter. This should not be a shock to anybody. But I'm not going to question it.
Someone else makes the decisions. I just have to live with them. So we got the day off of school
and I'm pretty happy about that. Hey, did you hear the Patriot Power Hour guys last night? Wow.
What a great show. Those guys get better and better. I don't know.
I can't wait for their prediction show and their recap because they started a tradition a few years back where they look ahead for the coming year and kind of give a like a percent over and under of what they think the next year will hold and then they also see how they did on their predictions from the previous year.
and it's very entertaining, interesting.
I like to hear the back and forth and the reasoning and, well, these guys are great.
Anyway, there's a couple things that are rolling around in the NBC guy's head.
One of the things is they're siding with drug dealers, drug cartel people.
I can't believe that the Democrats would stand up for drug dealers as opposed to our military.
It's inconceivable to me.
But they're losing on so many levels.
It's not funny.
They're like grasping at straws.
I don't know.
They're just trying to drag anybody down with them as they descend into the abyss.
I guess.
I don't know.
I can't figure it out.
They brought that admiral up there, you know, and questioned him.
And he was like, yeah, sure, no big deal.
They're drug dealers.
And the other thing that gets me is, where are our warriors?
coming from
where is this
our generation
this generation
where are they coming from
I mean I'm looking at
young people right now that are graduating
or about to graduate
and wow
they don't have
the warrior mentality
they don't have a lot
they don't have a lot
they don't have you know
the basic, what I would consider basic skills, you know, to problem solve, to troubleshoot,
and to come up with answers to problems, situations, you know, they have a flat tire and they
don't even know where the spare is to fix their flat tire.
and this is an actual incident that occurred at the school a few weeks back,
let alone being able to change it.
Okay, so, and this is two boys.
This is not, not that girls can't change tires.
They certainly can.
If you teach them, they're physically capable.
I mean, it's, it's not a mystery, but you would think that boys,
boys would have came across this exposure more than a girl would have.
But they had to call their dad to come help them change.
Now, I don't know about you, but I knew how to change tires before I had a driver's license.
It was kind of what you needed to know.
Now, I don't know.
and do I see this as a weakness?
Well, I think that if you don't have these basic skills,
there's something lacking.
I don't know, fill in your own blanks,
come to your own conclusions, look around,
where is the next generation of warriors coming from?
because I don't see this generation having many options.
A few years back, I did a comparison between today and World War II.
And the basic question was, if World War II happened today,
would we be able to fight it and win, okay, like we did back in the 40s?
and I went through a whole bunch of different things.
You know, logistically, we're everything, everything, national production, okay?
We have shipped all our production capabilities overseas.
So, and this has been a long, this is back when Prepper Broadcasting was owned by G-Man,
and I was doing, you know, the,
what do you call it, prepping up with the Joneses show.
And it was just basically I went down through what it took to win,
fight and win in World War II.
And did we have that same capabilities today?
And the short version is, no, we don't.
I mean, I don't know how that you would change your prepper outlook,
but it just seems like we've grown into a nation of comfortableness.
And, you know, what was considered hard some time ago is now inconceivable, you know.
And the new definition of difficult or hard is something that wouldn't even be an inconvenience, you know, 20 years ago.
So I don't know
Also my thoughts are going to communication a lot this Christmas
I don't know why
Combs is big on my mind
I know Chin keeps pinging us in the back channel
With all kinds of stuff
Over the years I bought
Several different radios that he puts in the back channel
This is a good deal
So Chin says it's a good deal
I buy it
and gotten in trouble quite a few times from Chin.
But Maria knows him and loves him and thinks he and his family is great.
So I said, Chin recommended it and then I get off the hook, see?
But lately I've been, I'm going to put that GMRS radio in my vehicle.
I have two of them that are 50-watt base stations.
I'm going to put one in the vehicle.
I'm going to put one here at home.
I'm looking at other communication things too.
And, of course, I looked at the satellite phone for a while,
but couldn't find a viable option there that, you know,
you could pay, like get minutes on a SIM card.
And when the minutes run out,
can charge it back up.
That's what I want to pay as you go, but then you got to spend a thousand bucks on a phone
and you can't just have one, you know, so it's just too far out right now, satellite communication.
So I don't know, we're going to look and see what we can come up with.
And I don't know why all this stuff is on my brain, but it is.
So that's where we're at right now.
And if it stops snowing, I think we're going to head in town
and get some of our errands done today since we have a three-day weekend.
How about that?
Okay, PBN family, that's just daily audio cash going on here at the Jones homestead.
I'm down here in the office about to set up the new printer that I got.
