A person who advocates and practices preparedness.
One ready for any event that would disrupt their daily routine.
That is a proper.
Hello everyone out there in internet radio land.
This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy,
coming to you semi-live from the Jones homestead.
I was going to take you with me to dispatch a raccoon,
but I did change my mind on that. It might be too much
for some people's audio ears. You know, the problem with raccoons, they're cute, but they
will tear up your livestock. They will kill every chicken you have just to kill the chickens.
chicken you have just to kill the chickens.
So, you can't be a faint of heart. Anyway,
expired can of sardines.
Yeah, that right there really
attracts them. So, if you're
looking for a good bait for a box trap, there you go.
And if you happen to catch the neighbor's cat, well, I'm joking.
I'm joking.
I am joking.
I'm joking.
Hey, last night's show.
Oh my gosh, was it awesome.
You talk about Prepper Gold.
That is Prepper Gold right there.
It was from 2020.
And it was early, early on in the pandemic.
Very early because we talked about Discord.
Discord was the emergency operation center, the EOC that we had.
Chin came up with it.
It was the very first element.
So if you're in element, Discord was the first version of that.
And we ran it for a long time.
And we think it was because of our views on COVID.
Because we don't know.
But Chin was banned for life.
So now he can no longer ever again get in discord.
And they never gave him a reason.
But I'm pretty sure it was our views on COVID.
You remember how big tech censorship was going on.
And you could not say anything against anything you know
lord fauci and uh man man that guy that guy he's he's dead to me yeah i remember saying that on the
covid cast fauci is dead to me oh it was it was the mask thing it was over the mask thing
first it was masks don't work
don't use masks
then it was use masks
then it was
and he lied and even admitted he lied
and he's still getting his massive government paycheck
and he has armed security which I think think may be Secret Service, I'm not
sure, just because he is science.
When you argue with him, you argue with science.
Now, is that guy full of himself?
Holy crap.
The sole arbiter of science, Dr. Fauci. Yeah, give me a break. Still can't admit to
this day that it came from the lab. And the reason he can't is because he paid for the
research. He funded them. Oh my God. The government is so corrupt.
And here's the thing.
Listen to that episode.
Because you hear where our minds were right then.
What we were thinking.
How we were acting.
And I'll tell you this.
A more diverse group of people you couldn't put together if you tried.
And I don't mean diversity in the way the woke crowd means diversity.
I mean from the West Coast to the Southwest, you know, to the East Coast.
Northwest, you know, to the East Coast, you have people all over, all walks of life, all colors.
And it's just, it's amazing what is on Prepper Broadcasting.
And you get to hear everybody's viewpoint.
You get to hear what people are thinking. And if you listen to last night's episode, there is the lessons learned for the next pandemic.
Because you know it's coming.
And the number one lesson you should have learned is how useless and feckless our government is.
They are not here to help.
They will lie to you.
They will coerce you.
They will use big tech censorship to suppress you
because they proved it.
Fauci admitted he lied.
He lied so that they could have
all the N95s for themselves.
Man.
Man.
Anyway, it's a huge, fantastic episode.
It is prepper gold.
And gosh darn, get ready.
Get ready because you know that was the practice
COVID
was the practice
pandemic
for us, for preppers
and society as a whole
did you learn your lessons?
did you figure out what worked
what didn't work
did you get your stockpile of N95s?
Because when the next pandemic happens,
they're going to go away faster than they did in the first one.
So if you don't have them now, boy, oh boy, what's wrong with you?
And that's what I meant when I told people in my pandemic class, masks work.
Not the cloth, paper, diapers that they
had you put on your face, but the N95s.
The medical masks and the protective
masks. Okay? So that's what I
meant when I said masks work. I don't count those face
diapers as masks. They're
yeah, yeah. And the only person arrested at the big
gun rally in January
was a lady wearing a mask. And she was arrested for wearing
a mask. And a month later,
everybody's wearing masks and it's mandatory.
Isn't that crazy?
Her case should have been thrown out
if she was ever heard or arrested or whatever,
went to court.
I think that is irony to the max.
Anyway,
so,
what did you learn from the last pandemic?
You know, if you had to sit down
and make a list
of the pros and the cons,
there are some things that still work.
You know, social distancing,
being able to lock yourself down
and stay away from people.
That works.
All the precautions that we took
here at the Jones Homestead
meant that we did not catch COVID
for like two years.
I mean, I tested, we tested,
never got a positive test until a few months ago.
And what happened?
The first iteration of COVID
killed a lot of older people,
people with respiratory problems,
and then it mutated.
And if you remember Obancon, I even said on one of the episodes
that the Omicron is less deadly than the vaccine.
The vaccine, and this is even before all this other stuff comes out about the vaccine,
but they had a rate of death for the vaccine, which was higher
than Omicron.
I said, give me the Omicron.
So if you can lock down and that virus will mutate, and as I said in past episodes, it
behooves a virus to mutate where it doesn't kill the host.
If it kills the host, all we do is isolate those people, let them die like Ebola, and
problem solved. The virus, the Wuhan Red Death, as Chris Plant calls it, changed, become less deadly, and now it's another version of the cold.
Can people still die from it?
Yeah, but very, very few.
You know, how many people die of the common cold? Very, very few. You know, how many people die of the common cold?
Very, very few.
So, that's what I mean by isolation, social distancing.
Because that virus is going to change and mutate.
And if you can stay away from it long enough,
maybe it will mutate into something that's harmless
so there you go
that's my prepper tip for the day
prepare for the next pandemic
oh boy but it is a great episode
I mean we got Chin on there
we got the Intrepid Commander
we got Jordan
we got me on there, we got the Intrepid Commander, we got Jordan we got me
all a panel discussing and you're going to see
you're going to get supply chain disruptions
yes, yes, expect them
for the next pandemic, anticipate them
don't be the people running to Costco getting toilet paper.
Yep. One time we
went downtown. All dressed up in our gear.
Masks, everything. And we just wanted
to see the craziness that was happening at Costco.
And we just stayed in our car, took a few pictures,
we posted them in the back channel. It was pretty
crazy. So what we did here at the Jones Homestead,
we were able to hunker down for six weeks. I pulled the
kids out of the school
a week before they actually closed the school. I was calling them in sick.
And I remember talking to the principal. She asked me, because she knew what I did,
you know, NBC guy. And I said, well, I don't see any other way. They're going to close the school.
And this was Wednesday,
and Friday is when the governor closed the schools.
So, lessons learned, people.
Prep on, prep on, prep on.
Man, we got 10 turkeys.
We got three geese.
We got guineas we're going to butcher.
We're going to be processing birds here this week because they're just eating too much feed and not producing what we need.
We get about 20 eggs a day. We're going to start freeze-drying eggs.
Maybe we'll have some freeze-dry eggs
to sell at Prepper Camp. That's not a bad idea.
Marie is making tincture and soap.
We are definitely coming to Prepper Camp this year.
Gosh.
So PBN family, take care.
Prep on and listen to last night's show.
It was awesome.
