To oppose tyranny and fight for the rights are created bestowed us in the United States Constitution.
We are the Preper Broadcasting Network.
Hello, hello, hello, all you preppers out there in Internet Radio Land.
This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy.
I am coming to you semi-live on a Saturday.
Beautiful weather we're having here in Virginia.
I just wonder when winter is going to hit us, and I think it's going to be rough this year.
I think I have not.
put up any wood so far.
So we'll see how that goes.
The Intrepid Commander was in full wood mode.
He scored some free wood, which is energy for free,
chicks for nothing.
You know, whatever that Duran Duran song is,
I don't think it had to do with wood.
But we are.
are on full-blown
prepper camp
focused. This is
the last weekend before prepper camp.
Sorry if you didn't get tickets.
Plan it out for next
year. This
prepper camp is going to be pretty
awesome. Pretty awesome.
Because
we're going to have all those survival
tales.
We're going to sit around the campfire and talk about
how we made it out of preper camp.
last year, and what we did and what we lacked and what we wished we would have had.
But here again, the campground was isolated, protected.
It was almost like there was a force field around the campground.
and we suffered very little to no damage.
Yes, we were relying on the cell phone towers and internet,
but our new technical support brought Starlink
and we actually were able to communicate with the outside world.
Whereas a lot of people, and we didn't even know this,
a lot of people outside our bubble had no communications.
This has prompted the warden to put me on a mission for sat phones.
So I'm going to get at least two sat phones and we'll probably station one with Alex
and one with us on a semi-permanent basis.
But I, the, you know, not the coverage.
The monthly bill is getting, you know, if you could pay as you go, turn it on, start a new month, that's the way to go.
You know, when you need it, you need it, when you don't need it, why are you paying for it?
So that's our dilemma right now.
and the warden has
put me on a path of getting my GMRS radio
in the car and up on the tower
so I will have communications that way
and so many things have happened this past year
and I'm sure you've experienced a lot of this too
I'm not just, you know, northern Virginia.
That put us in a position here where we need to be able to communicate better.
So that's a top priority.
Not only that, I went by Harbor Freight today and picked up one of those Harbor Freight, 100-watt solar panel things.
It's on final clearance.
and because I'm a what is it called inside track member
I got an additional 15% off the clearance price
and now this is like the third or fourth of these things
that I purchased and I've yet to set one up
so I'm telling you my successes and failures here
so I am going to put electric
in the outdoor kitchen
because Maria needs
lights and I have these
40 watt LED
fluorescent lights. I'm going to
string two of them up there, hook
it to a battery, put the solar
panel on the roof
and
poof.
Light. Let there be light.
Okay, so
what's going on around the Jones
Homestead? We are continually
decreasing the amount of animals.
When we get back from Preper Camp,
we're going to butcher up
the last few chickens that are in our front pen.
So if you're keeping track,
we have three areas now
that we can put chickens.
The one down below,
where the rabbits were,
we're trying to grow some grass,
up in there and trying to make that a little better before winter hits and then we're
going to put our layers down there and then we're going to rehab the other two areas
that is the plan we have the grass seed we have everything we need a straw we're
going to put straw down and we're going to leave those until next spring
to put anything in and well you got to have that prepper infrastructure right this the intrepid
commander talks about this prepper infrastructure if you have that you have versatility
if you don't have that you're stuck you're stuck with what you got so hey and i want to shout
out to everybody that's listening right now if if you like david
James the NBC guy, you're going to like 30 days, 30 prepper tips. And hopefully you're following
along, but there's 30 tips for the month of September. I'm posting one a day. Usually I do
them all on the weekend because, you know, school. And then we just go through. Now, I need to
prep. I need to do these before we go to prepper camp. I did this last year. I did this last year.
and I posted everything up through Preper Camp.
I actually gave you an extra tip the other day
because I didn't put the date right.
But no extra charge.
There you go.
I hope you're liking them.
If you're liking them, send me an email,
send the Intrepid Commander an email.
Give us a thumbs up.
Let us know that you're out there listening.
you know, even in these times when, well, the Trump effect is in full swing.
Everybody's happy that Trump's in, the economy's good, gas is down,
peace is breaking out all over the world.
But you know what preppers do?
True preppers.
They don't stop prepping.
They don't.
The last load in the freeze dryer was all rabbit meat and vegetables that we can cook up any time we want.
This one's a set of eggs.
We do freeze dried eggs.
The combination, how to recombine them, is two tablespoons of egg powder, two tablespoons of water, two tablespoons of water.
That will give you one egg.
And you can cook it, you can bake with it, you can do whatever you want with it.
Now for PreparCamp, Maria is bringing all kinds of tinctures and sprays.
And she still has soap.
She's going to bring some soap.
And hot sauce, she has two trays of hot sauce.
She makes homemade hot sauce.
that is just fantastic.
It's kind of mild, maybe mild to hot.
It depends upon your taste,
but you can eat this on anything,
and what flavor, garlic, onion, it's fantastic.
I hope you're mous water.
Now, along with this, we plan to launch,
I don't know, a website,
an Etsy site or something
because she's bringing
different
tinctures.
Okay, I wish I could
remember them all.
Mulane.
What's the root?
A bulldog root.
She's bringing all kinds
of tinctures to
Preper Camp and this is going to
launch her website
of homemade tinctures and
Creams.
Okay, I have to confess, she made a cream for your eyes.
And you put this on at night, okay?
And ladies, if you're listening, and men, men like to look good too.
I put this stuff on.
First, I was skeptical because I didn't want this goop on my eyes to go to sleep.
when I woke up, my eyes, I could noticeably see less wrinkles in my eyes,
and I think I could see actually better.
So whatever's in this cream, night cream, eye night cream, is very, very good.
It's probably the best thing I've ever put on my face.
And at 69 years old, I put a lot of stuff.
on my face.
So please, if you're listening to this and you're at Preper Camp, ask her about the
night cream, because I'm not sure she wants to make some to bring with.
We may only have our version of it, but it is fantastic.
Those crow's lines, you know, laugh lines, whatever, crow's feet.
whatever they they disappear overnight and like I said I wash my face in the morning and it's soft
and it's pretty fantastic I she's planning some meal for Thursday night so all the hosts and
everybody that's listening that's going down Thursday night come to the Jones Stead
site. We're going to have
like a little, I don't
know, get together.
She wants to
see everybody. It's been years since
she's been there and
we're bringing the kids.
So everybody's grown
up now. We'll
see how that goes.
Because Prepper Camp usually
does not have very good internet
and I'm okay with that.
But the kids
not so much.
it's always fantastic to see your extended family,
the people that you would actually trust your kids with.
And, gosh, Prepper Camp is a one-of-a-kind experience for preppers.
It's hard to describe.
It's phenomenal.
You go once.
and you'll never be the same after that.
You'll want to go every year
and you will lament any year that you miss
no matter what the circumstances.
And that's just the way it is.
Everybody that's been there,
I'm sure I can get an amen from on that right there.
So before I sign off here,
make sure that you text or email
The Entrepid Commander or myself, NBC guy at Protonmail.com,
say, yeah, thanks for the tips.
They're great.
They're coming in.
I strive very hard not to duplicate the tips that I gave last year.
Maybe at one point we can string them all together and make a show.
It'd be a 60-minute show of two-minute tips.
So send that email out.
Let us know that you're out there.
listening. Take care and prep on.
