Hello, everyone out there in Internet Radio Land.
This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy.
Oh, I'm coming to you on Sunday morning, Sunday morning.
The rest of the household is still sleeping.
So I thought I'd get up and do a quick daily audio cache before the events of the
overtake my thoughts.
So thank you.
I have a listener that reached out to me.
It's always great to hear from listeners
to let us know that you're actually out there.
I mean, I know you're out there,
but it gives confirmation that you're listening
and he was gracious enough to let me know
that the Starlink system has been working great for him for years and he highly recommended it
and I went yesterday and got it at Home Depot it was a Black Friday special so I got it for
like $200 and I think $260 and I got the two year extended warranty and I got the two year extended warranty
on the, because I saved all this money and I'm going to hook it up.
I am going to hook it up and I think I'm going to be saving some money while improving
my situation.
So, you know, every time we lost power, internet would go down.
You have voiceover IP, which is another way to communicate without cell towers.
So I think this is going to be a great addition.
and thank you again for reaching out.
I know you're out there listening.
He put in his email.
A long time listener, first time emailing.
Well, I appreciate that email.
I also have another listener that reached out to me a long time ago,
and I finally sent her the Christmas present.
I've been promising my schedule.
I don't know.
We were talking.
I'm on Thanksgiving break this week from school.
So you'll be hearing a lot more of me this week.
Well, you know, projects, you can imagine if I'm off for a week
how much the warden has set up for me to do.
So hopefully you'll hear a lot more of me this week
because, gosh, we're going to be getting ready.
winter winter
I got to clean the chimney out
we have almost all
the wood split and stacked
so we're ready to go in that
respect we probably have
about another two maybe
three hours of wood splitting to do
and then I'm going to put the splier
away
the warden says we don't need
any more wood
we'll see I think this winter
is going to be particularly
cold and
a long. That's
my opinion.
It's been a while since we had a bad winter,
so
I mean, a good, good long
while since we had a long cold
winter.
And we'll see.
We'll see.
The intrepid commanders using his
commander's intuition.
And if you haven't heard,
he is establishing
a
no AI zone. And I think this is brilliant. Brilliant. So for years and years, since he acquired
Prepper Broadcasting, he's had this Red Beacon Media, and he's been back and forth what to do
with it. And now that AI is so prevalent, and I mean it is everywhere, you can't tell
anymore, what is real and what is fake.
I mean, if they don't show their hands with extra fingers, it's very hard to tell.
But he's establishing a no AI zone.
So if you go to Red Beacon Media, I don't know how this is going to go, but I think it's a brilliant idea.
it is going to be an AI-free zone.
When AI first came out, this was years ago,
and everybody was freaking out,
and I said, I think it's going to cause a premium
on actual human content.
I think that's what is going to be, you know,
this is AI art, and this is,
human-created art, and I think the human-created art you're going to pay more for.
I don't see AI creating a Mona Lisa.
I mean, they could create a Mona Lisa, but
it's not going to have the same impact.
You understand?
It's not going to be of the same value.
So that's my prediction for what it's worth.
But the Intrepid Commander is usually right.
He has this amazing ability to take the 50,000-foot view.
And anyway, keep an eye out for Red Beacon Media.
I think it's going to be a great addition to PBN.
So here at the Jones homestead, we're down on animals right now.
Oh, poor Bucky.
Our male golden retriever, Bucky, he had gotten a bone caught in his back teeth of his mouth.
And he could not get that bone out.
And his mouth was wedged open because of this bone.
Oh, that was so terrible.
And we found it, pulled it out.
But if you can imagine what it was like to have your mouth open,
we figure it was almost 24 hours that it was stuck in there.
Poor guy.
But he's fine now, you know, eating.
It was just, gosh, darn.
I feel for dogs.
I don't know what it is about dogs.
I feel for them more than I feel for humans.
That doesn't mean that I'm more compassionate or less compassionate.
It's just that I don't know.
There's something about dogs suffering that they can't tell you,
oh, it hurts here, or this is bad.
I don't know.
I was a dog catcher in Anchorage.
Yes, I know.
James is saying, oh, this guy, he needs to write a story about his life.
I was a dog catcher in Anchorage for like a year.
Animal control officer, if you want.
And it just, it hurt me so bad when I saw a dog suffering.
And we saw a lot of dog suffering.
Some hit by cars, some cold, you know, people would just move and just leave their animals behind.
Animal Control Officer in Anchorage, Alaska, yeah.
Now, I never got a call for a wild animal or anything like that.
That was the state.
We did, you know, pets.
feral cats, wild dogs.
We did them, but we didn't do like, you know, moose, bear, anything like that.
That was the state police.
And they had wildlife officers.
When I was in Alaska State Trooper, the same police academy, wildlife officers went to.
So if you were a wildlife officer, you were de facto state police officer because you went to the same academy.
They just got additional training on animals and stuff like that.
It was fun.
Interesting.
Different uniforms.
Yeah, on Sitka, the island of Sitka, Alaska.
The academy was on an island.
So there was nothing to do but work out.
And I worked out like three times a day, a day.
We get up in the morning and run three or six miles, okay?
Then at lunchtime we did an aerobic exercise,
and I usually skip lunch after aerobics and ran some more.
And then at night I was lifting weights with this guy
that was a weightlifter in the Olympics.
So I was, sheesh, after the State Trooper Academy,
I was in the best shape I had ever been in my life.
I was like 13% body fat.
I was just rock hard.
Years later, on Discovery, they had a show about Alaska State Troopers.
And what got me was, it was the exact same building.
and the exact same color.
I couldn't believe that, you know, 30 years later,
they hadn't changed a thing.
That was pretty crazy.
I only saw one episode of it.
But yeah, that's part of my life.
Who knew, right?
Anyway, I'm rambling on PBN family.
I hope you're out there prepping on.
Sharia law.
I'm laughing because
this type of thing
has been attempted in the past
and deemed illegal.
So I don't know how they're doing it.
Yes, the Amish have
their closed societies
and they have their version of a sheriff
and things like that.
But they stand by our
laws. They
don't, they have
their own religious laws
and they can be shunned from the
church, but they
don't take penalties, you know,
murder, rape, robbery,
that's the state
takes care of that.
So, I don't
know how these Sharia law things
are being stood up.
And of course, if you believe
some things on the internet,
there's groups
of Hamas terrorists inside the country right now
that are supposed to be targeting Christians
during the Christmas season.
So keep your head on a swivel.
Watch your six.
All this stuff we used to say when we were in the green zone.
You are now leaving the green zone.
Do not screw up.
And I cleaned that up quite a bit.
It was not PG-13 when we said it.
So, PBN family, take care, prep on,
and I hope Spreaker don't ban me for playing my theme song anymore.
Thank you.
