Another snow day here. Yep, another snow day here. Well, they said because of the road conditions and the plummeting temperatures, that was what was in the message. So they didn't want little ones, you know, getting frostbite on their way to school, which was probably a good call. Anyway, I want to ask, how's your EV charging? Huh? How's all your electric vehicles doing in this extreme cold? Oh my gosh. Another reason not to get an electric vehicle. Yeah. I guess Chicago had really, really like 27 below zero, something like that. And the electric vehicles just kind of saps a battery. So that's that.

I bet all those virtue signaling people that thought the electric vehicle shows I'm so good with carbon. I'm a carbon neutral guy. Yeah. I do have to get the battery out of the tractor though. This cold weather really saps it and I don't run it every day to get it charged up. So I'll bring it in here, put it on the trickle charger. I'm going to do that today. I don't think it's going to warm

up very much. It's 12 right now. Last night it was 9, 9 degrees. Now that's better than negative 9. So, and, you know, we got wood. Everything's good. You know, pump's not freezing, nothing. No problems, no problems. You know, you listen to the news media, every day the weather causes Armageddon.

But did you hear the Biden administration funded the University of Rhode Island leftist organization to counter propaganda from counter-propaganda from conservatives and Donald Trump. They specifically named Trump in the federal grant program that they would combat propaganda from Donald Trump.

I think through the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department. There you go. That's really something right there. The State Department is supposed to, you know, do stuff like that with foreign entities. It was originally

designed to counter terrorist groups, propaganda to stop people from getting radicalized by these terror groups. And it was a program that was set up when Obama was in office. Trump's Department of Homeland Security wanted to do away with the program. They kind of just shelved it. They didn't actually do away with it. What Congress needs to do is defund all this stuff

they just need to go through, find these things and eliminate them from the budget because this is we need to get back to some sense of normality here and Congress can be a big help. A big help. Anyway, yeah, that's about what I'm doing here at Jones Homestead. I'm prepping on different little things.

I was able to acquire like an armored up laptop. It's one of these that are designed in a tough box. And the reason I got this one, besides it was on final clearance, it's solid state. There's no spinning hard drive. It has a DVD player in it. And touchscreen.

It's pretty nice. Pretty nice. And $300. You can't beat it. So that's going to be my end of the world computer. And I'm going to load it up with everything I can. Books, pamphlets, all my prepper stuff that's on PDFs and all that kind of stuff. And of course we have tons of DVDs and with this in the Faraday cage, we will be able to watch DVDs on this. So, that's an

idea. That's a project right there. I'm looking at it right now. I'm checking out all the parts because I got a 90 day warranty on it. It was repurposed, remanufactured. They put a new battery in it. And then they sold it, you know. So, got it from Woot. Chin turned me on to Woot a few years back.

And every so often there's something on Woot I just have to have. And this was one of them. Every so often there's something on Woot I just have to have, and this was one of them. Hey, so there's a new movie coming out, and it's called Civil War. And wow, does the trailer look fascinating. Looks just fascinating. And it's fairly low budget. It's not a Hollywood blockbuster thing,

but it looks really, really good. And I would be interested in to see what the premise is. You know, because sometimes, sometimes Hollywood shows you what's about to happen. Sometimes they predict the future. Like Minority Report, Tom Cruise, Future Crimes. Yeah, AI. In Minority Report there were these three

telepathic people that could see into the future. And if they had a consensus on a timeline, you were arrested for a crime that you didn't even commit yet. Pretty crazy. But in today's age, it's, it's AI is predicting, you know, what your next step is. That's pretty crazy too. Anyway, sometimes Hollywood predicts the future. And I want to see this to see what the premise is and how this all comes about. We've talked about it here on PBN a few times.

What is the end result here? Where is this country going? And how do we right the ship? Because we're leaning... Is it starboard? What's left in nautical terms? I think it's starboard. We are listing to the starboard side terribly.

Yeah. About to capsize. If you can picture that. Well, I'm pretty sure we'll be back to school tomorrow. Boy, it's like we've got a second Christmas break here. I've never been so excited for snow days. Yeah. Yeah, the kids just, oh my gosh, they go crazy.

Alex is jealous because he didn't get that many snow days and he just don't remember them. He got them. Yeah. Anyway, PBN family, stay tuned. Tonight's Wednesday. He's thinking of coming back to PBN in another format.

Colin is, well, you can still hear Colin in the audio drama. Sarah Hathaway's audio drama. Oh my gosh, it's getting so good. If you're not up to date, oh my gosh, you have to listen. The last two or three episodes the plot is just moving forward at a lightning pace now. And, oof, things are coming together. That's all I'll say about that.

No spoilers here. You can play the game. Can I hear the NBC guy in this episode? And if you hear him, how many times is he in there? Sometimes I'm arguing with myself. Some of my characters got killed off. Yeah, I think I have the most killed off characters. Some of them, I don't know, they're there, but they're going to come back.

Maybe, maybe. I did come back one time. I had to go back and listen to what voice I did to be able to remember what this guy sounded like. So it was kind of crazy. Yeah, and then sometimes I'd pull from Mel Blanc. I do folk horn horn leg horn. Yeah, boy. Boy, let me tell y'all.
