To oppose tyranny and fight for the rights
of created the stodas in the United States Constitution.
We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
Hello, everyone out there in Internet Radio Land.
This is Dave Jones, the NBC guy,
and I am coming to you, semi-live, traveling to school,
teacher work day.
Oh, my gosh, beautiful, beautiful Monday.
Yeah, not supposed to be as hot as yesterday.
yesterday got up to like 95 so it's going to be mid 80s no humidity perfect weather man get out there
and do something I am fired up I'm fired up for a couple different reasons I'm fired up for
prepper camp oh my gosh big big big prepper camp is going to be bigger than ever new venue gosh if you
can make it this is the year to make it you just
I was there the first year they had the new place, you know?
But if you can't make it to prepper camp and you'd like to see my presentation.
Oh my gosh.
I have a stick.
I have a stick.
Now, the last time I talked about the stick, a gentleman ordered the stick.
and I've found that the post office has changed.
Yeah, used to be able to drop something there and say,
send it first class.
Now if it's not like a document,
and I had the post lady say that,
first class is only for documents.
If it's any kind of different size envelope or not,
flat, which my stick is not flat. It has to go partial post. Yeah. So that's eight bucks.
It's still cheaper than FedEx, but gosh, eight bucks. For, you know, what's a stick? I mean,
it's probably not even an ounce, maybe, maybe an ounce. I don't know. Anyway, I'm sorry to have
to say this, but I got to charge, you know, five bucks shipping. I'll make it a flat $5
shipping and then, you know, I'll eat the other three bucks. But this gentleman who
remained nameless asked me a question about EMP and I thought I would cover it a little more
in detail than I could in the email.
So here's your proper tip of the day.
If you're worried about EMP,
know that it's extremely hit and miss.
Okay?
If someone is trying to sell you something
that will absolutely positively protect you from EMP,
that's bullshit.
Okay?
I'm not casting shade on any problem.
product out there, I'm just telling you, there's no way anybody can know this. And if someone says to you,
all your shit will be wiped out, there's no way he can know that. There's too many variables.
How big is the bomb? How far away is the bomb? How much shielding between you and the bomb?
How much altitude between here and there? There's just too many variables. Now, EMP is terrible and
bad and will cause us all to turn into Amish overnight.
Okay.
And I say this in my presentation, we become Amish overnight.
Because the level of destruction to the grid is immeasurable.
Inmeasurable.
There's only one thing that could be worse, and that is the sun, which can also cause an EMP through, you know,
ejecta is what it's called
Corona mass ejection
so that can wipe out the whole planet
and EMP is much more local
and will wipe out areas
and you know cause damage
to the grid the electrical grid
so the number one thing you can do
is reduce your demand
on electricity the number one thing
is you can go through all the stuff that you have.
First determine, is it vital?
And vital means you're not going to survive without it.
Okay, water is one of them.
If you're on a well pump, you know, a well with a well pump,
your water is vital.
So you have to figure a way around that well pump
because even if your well pump works,
electricity ain't coming to your house.
So those are the things you've got to look at.
Reduce your demand for electricity down to where you can operate
with like backup systems for your vital things.
Okay?
I have two different generators and a solar generator.
If I had to, I could run my well pump on those three backup systems.
So there you go.
And I have multiple sources of water.
So this is my tip for you today.
Have a Faraday cage, but because it's so hit and miss,
don't spend a lot of money on this Faraday cage.
A Faraday cage is nothing more than a high school science experiment.
Okay, think of it that way.
High school science experiment.
Now, how much will you spend on a high school science experiment?
I'm going to tell you.
$24 a tractor supply.
A stainless steel garbage can.
Okay?
And you line it.
Anyway, get.
Get my stick.
It tells you how to make a Faraday cage.
You can Google it.
You can Google it.
Making a Faraday cage.
How to make one.
And put your vital electronics in there,
everything that you need to survive after the nuclear attack or EMP attack or whatever.
Okay, so make a Faraday cage, put vital things in there.
and that is your insurance backup, you know, solar-powered stuff works pretty good.
I mean, they withstand EMP very well, but, you know, solar panels and all that.
But they're charged controllers, the little electronic brains, they do not.
So you might want to have a backup one of those and stick them in your Faraday.
cage. You want to have backups for things anyways. Primary, alternate, contingent emergency,
you know, the pace plan thing. So you would want to have redundancy in those specific areas
anyways. We'll keep one in your Faraday cage, okay? Like a backup insurance policy. Now,
your Faraday Cage, how to test your Faraday Cage? That's a great question.
Okay, I used to say, get you an AM radio, tune it to Rush. Put Rush inside the can. Seal it up.
If Rush goes to static, then you got a good seal. Okay? So the second time, you know, that's your test.
Now the next time you seal it up, you may not get as good as seal.
So what do you do the second time is you leave the item in the cardboard box that it comes in
and wrap it in aluminum foil.
Okay, aluminum foil is cheap and it gives a secondary protection inside your Faraday cage.
So there you go.
You got a whole big portion of what's on my stick right now on this daily audio cache.
Hey, and I'm going to read the reviews.
So I sold these two sticks.
I put some thank you gifts in there with the sticks.
But I sold these two sticks and I said, well, give me a review.
And I was thinking I would get something like, hey, looks good, sounds good.
Highly recommended, something like that.
Man, did they do a great job on the reviews?
I am going to read them on the air.
Let me see if I can pull into sheets here and pull them reviews up.
Okay, so it just popped in my head that I got to stop a sheets anyways to send this daily audio
So I thought, well, I can pull them up on my other phone and read you what these listeners have said.
Now, this is a gentleman.
He says after 11 years in the fire service volunteer and full time,
28 years in a nuclear power, 10 in the fire protection, 13 in emergency preparedness,
off-site liaison hosts for the county.
And finally, five years as an external relations manager,
I can safely state,
I have set through my share of training and presentations.
Yours is among the best.
I'm embarrassed.
This is high praise, I must say.
best you relate well to your audience and I assume adjust depending on the level of their knowledge.
The training, a trainer a long time ago when I was receiving my teacher's credential for firefighting told me
the mind can only absorb what the asshole can endure.
I appreciate the bonus material.
as you're aware, many things keep me up at night.
And I am ready, am I ready to cover everything?
So that came from one listener who got my stick.
And wow, I really appreciate this.
This here was another,
young lady and you know they they're all young ladies to me because let me see if i could find it
oh my gosh let's see here maybe i maybe i click the wrong person anyway if you want to get a
hold of me NBC guy at protonmail.com NBC guy at protonmail.com
Let's see
Oh, that's not it.
Well, maybe I will not be able to find this other one.
But it was very, very nice.
And let's see.
No.
Not seeing it.
But it was nice too.
Let me see if I sent it.
I think I sent it.
Well, anyway, I don't want to hold you up here.
PBM family.
This, nope.
That's me thumbing through my emails.
Anyway, that's my prepper tip for the day.
Expect more daily audio caches just because the Intrepid commander is out and about,
and I'll be available.
I'm going to close this down now.
If you have any questions, NBC guy at Protonmail.com.
If you want the stick, 35 bucks.
three presentations on there, two NBC presentations, and one on biological warfare.
And the biological warfare happened before the pandemic.
And you'll see, when you see the presentation, I pretty much nailed it.
I mean, it was prophetic, I would say.
And then there's a bonus feature.
The bonus feature is my prepper stuff.
So the prepper stuff folder that's on your desktop, I just stuck that in there.
So this is everything of mine plus all my slides and stuff like that.
So that's my commercial.
I appreciate it.
Please come to Prepper Camp.
I'm much better live.
but I'm far more organized on the stick.
Not only that, I didn't have a time limit on my presentation when I gave it in the firehole.
I do have a time limit of one hour at prepper camp.
So I kind of go very quickly and hit the high points.
I always update my presentation.
You know, if Rocket Man is shooting something off,
and I always try and update you with the latest news.
So if you come to Preper Camp, you'll see the presentation,
plus get, you know, the latest and greatest that's out there.
Okay, I've rambled on enough.
I hope you have a wonderful Monday.
Carpe Diem.
Seize the day.
That was one of my bonus questions on the first.
final exam, what does carpe diem mean?
My students all know that because I say it frequently.
Take care.
And prep on.
