A person who advocates and practices preparedness. One ready for any event that would disrupt their daily routine. That is a prepper.
Hello all you preppers out there in internet radio land.
This is Dave Jones the NBC guy.
How are you doing on this nice Tuesday?
Tuesday before the 4th, the big celebration.
Where you pay sales tax to get fireworks to celebrate the day
we stop paying taxes. What?
Okay, how much
tax do we pay? I mean, I, oh my gosh, every dollar
is taxed several times. But I have
a new word for you.
Kakistocracy.
K-A-K-I-S-T-O-C-R-A-C-Y.
And I'm going to use this in my history classes
because I also teach government
and we are in a cackistocracy.
This is a government that's run by the worst and least
qualified people. The most unscrupulous
citizens. Corrupt and unscrupulous citizens.
That's where we're at people. Cackistocracy.
That's your word for today.
So, what's going on in the Preppersphere? Hey, did you listen to Preppers Live last night? It was
a great show, a rerun. I do remember
that show, but you've got to listen to it because
you're getting to pick
someone else's brain that was a former
CIA operative.
And he's prepping.
He's prepping like there's no tomorrow.
And you listen to the stuff that he's prepping like there's no tomorrow and you listen to the stuff that he's got
and you're saying wow
there is definitely something to this
and of course the intrepid commander
I like that intro he has
that was funny
the intrepid. I should have one. The NBC guy.
Sometimes I crack myself up. So what's going on at the Jones Homestead? Well, this weekend
we're going to get a sheep and we're
going to butcher it up. He said they're around 200 pounds live weight, which is pretty nice.
That's like a big deer. Okay. So I'm pretty sure we can do it in a few hours. We've done deer
in that amount of time. You know, in the winter
time, we usually gut it and skin it and hang it
whole in the garage when it's nice and cool.
Yeah, when it's cold out, we can hang it in the garage
and let it age a little bit. It's like having a a big refrigerator but we're gonna cut this baby up quickly and we do have an auxiliary fridge in
the garage and i took all the shelves out and uh we are we'll probably put the pieces in there.
But Maria wants to save, like, everything.
I don't know what she wants to do.
We'll see.
She wants to make sheephead stew. I draw the line at brains, okay?
I just can't see myself eating brains.
Sounds too zombie-like.
So, I'm not going to be down for that.
Well, the warden caught me, so I got to go.
She's giving me the, what are you doing in here?
Get outside and work.
I'm going to put a stick to you.
See, that's the abuse I take around here.
Anyway, PBN Family, if I think of something else, I'll do another daily audio cache.
You know, something that's bugging me like the belt was bugging me the other day.
Yeah, nothing comes to mind.
We're increasing our food production daily.
Last night's plate was 100% homegrown.
The chicken that we ate was our chicken.
The salad was from our garden.
Everything that was on the plate was from us so that that was pretty good i always like that when we can do a hundred percent um
anyway take care and prep on Thank you.
