Yeah, I'll be shaking it tonight. So they say, in Romania they say this, so we have a Romanian New Year's going on tonight, which I am going to call in tonight. Don't miss the party tonight. It is adults only. Okay, I'm making that announcement now because I got a bunch of jokes. And you know, what's funnier on New Year's Eve than a bunch of jokes? Anyway,

and a bunch of jokes. Anyway, what you do New Year's Eve, you will do all the year long. So you know exactly what I want to do, but that's not what I'm doing. I'm cleaning up. I'm putting stuff away. So you know how in the winter time things accumulate and you don't get a chance to put

them back and put it away and well the the yard's been a mess since before the ducks and it's it got cold we you know butchered the ducks but we never put all this stuff away. So that's how I'm spending my New Year's Eve day. I took a short break here to put a massage thing on my back here. It's heating it up and massaging it. And take a break. You know, I'm out there sitting on these plastic lounge chairs that we bought many, many years ago and have never actually sit in them. So you get to thinking to yourself,

why? Why are we not relaxing a little bit, taking time, enjoying the view? We don't do that nearly enough. It's constant work around here. I've been threatening to go full Amish on Maria and just no electricity. Nothing.

We'll see how that would go. We can do it here. That's the key about electricity. You've got to decrease your consumption enough that if it's intermittent or non-existent, it's just a bit of an inconvenience. So we have done that. I have a generator for the well pump. I have a manual pump. I have not get it put in. It's been on my to-do

list for the past, I don't know how many years. You know, you make a list at the beginning of the year, put that hand pump in the well hole. It's just I have to glue it and then let the glue stay overnight and then somehow I have to lower this 100 foot pipe down in the hole without screwing anything else up.

And man, I'm just not too comfortable with that idea. Yeah. Anyway, I digress. I am all over the place. The reason I did this Daily Audio Cash is not to tell you about tonight, but tonight's going to be great.

It was to tell you about Carl B. and Jay Furry. Oh my gosh, what two great shows there. Carl B. put on his best Stephen Minkin impression and if you haven't been to church just listen to Carl B.'s last night

that was fantastic or Friday, it was Friday, I listened to it yesterday it was great, loved every minute of it and I'm glad to see Jay Fergie's back you know Loved every minute of it. And I'm glad to see Jay Fergie's back. You know, I mean, she's back podcasting. She never really left. She's in the PBN family.

You know, PBN Hall of Fame, so to speak. And the only time I hear Ryan anymore and Colin is in the audio drama from Sarah Hathaway. So, oh gosh. Yeah, I'm kind of scarce myself. Going back to school in a week. Yikes. Yikes. Well, I say yikes.

But I'm kind of looking forward to it. The second half of the year. I already did half the year and I want to knock this out. I want to get this done. I want to man. So, I'm looking forward to it.

So, getting back to the Romanian traditions, it's okay. New Year's is kind of like their version of Halloween. It's the time when the veil between the living and the dead is the most weak. And ancestors are supposed to come and check up on you.

And kids come around to the people's houses and they sing. And then you give them little candies and stuff, little cookies, traditional cookies. And they bang a bell and do all kinds of stuff to ward off evil spirits. It's interesting. And you're supposed to eat something like 12 different kinds of food.

You're supposed to wear red to ward off evil eye. And you're supposed to wear green for prosperity. I don't know. I don't know. It's too complicated. for prosperity. I don't know. I don't know. It's too complicated. But if I can get Maria to join us in tonight, she'll tell you a little more about it than I can. I'm just following the rules as best I can. Okay, PBN family, take care.
