And whenever it seizes him to the ground and he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and stiffens out.
I told your disciples to cast it out and they cannot do it.
and he answered them and said oh you unbelieving and perverted generation how long shall i be with you
and put up with you bring your son here for the bible loop nine thirty nine through forty two
which also the same situation shows up in
Mark 9, 18 through 20
where Jesus
heals the possessed
rebukes the unclean spirit
welcome in PBN family
why
why demons on December 11th? I don't know
why demons in the most
holy of days
because
these are the times
that we look to
the birth of Jesus
and many other
holy traditions
throughout Judaism and
so on.
This year probably
definitely
this year more than ever.
It's just become very apparent
to me.
Something
Something that operated on the periphery of my mind for a while, which was demons.
Real?
Not real?
You know, like horned entities with pitchforks?
What are we dealing with?
What is this thing?
Tucker Carlson says that the UFOs are demons.
I don't know.
He says the UAP phenomena are demons.
maybe distractions i don't know one thing i do know and it's important for me to tell you sort
of the yeah i don't know you have to find your way into everything in life you have to find your
way into things it's very important and how you make those connections
now in the Bible they talk about the devil's temptation of Jesus right
and to me that's probably one of the more
that's probably one of the realest representations
of the battle that you face every day
right so in other words if you're going to
if you're going to cut down a demon
never born as you were as it were
then you know what does that look like
what are you after what are you battling what are you fighting
to me it is this constant gnawing
it's this chewing on the on the mind and on the senses and on the willpower
i don't know i always have an image
and it's an image of sort of like a a creature who
who has a body lock on you,
if you're familiar with Jiu-Jitsu, right?
It's got like this body lock.
He's taking your back.
He's chewing on your head a little bit.
And what I think is most important about this battle with this willpower draining battle with the demonic
that we all face is there are people who believe it.
There are people who understand it.
And then there are people who don't.
And for a long time, you know, it's one of those things where it's like,
how crazy does that sound?
But you know that you have some days that are better than others.
You know that you have days where you're stronger, days where you are weaker.
I mean, you just know these things, right?
You know these things to be true.
You know that there are days where your willpower is immense.
It's unstoppable, you're unstoppable, right?
And there are days when you give in the temptation.
This is the battle.
This is the battle.
What really helped me understand the battle.
And you see, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood.
What the hell does that mean?
In some ways, you can understand what it means.
And I guess more important than what does it mean is how do we act?
How do we take action in the face of that?
How do we fight with that?
Right?
I'm telling you all this from experience over a year,
sort of understanding kind of how to win and how to lose.
A lot of times in life you have to be brought low
to really understand the battle.
because when things are going well for you in life and all things are going well and everything's coming up roses
that it's kind of easy you know what i mean it's kind of easy to say oh well i don't know things are good
am i worried about things are good i don't have to you know and even when things are going well
you're still locked in that battle it may not feel like it all the time but you are 100% locked in that
battle. And you just had to be aware of it. But when things are going well, there's something
about it, the cacophony of success and, you know, all the things that are doing things the way
they should be doing and so on. Money in the bank and, you know, relationships going well and all
these kinds of things. I don't know. It's not that you're not fighting the war, but I think
you're less aware of it and a lot of times you give in the temptation of much easier when things
are going well because you're convinced hey must be doing something right must be doing something
right i mean look at everything going my way you know what i mean so in these moments
there's not as much to learn as there are there is uh you know when everything's falling apart
when you are brought low a lot of people say that god will bring you know important people low
or bring his favorite people low or bring people who need saving low first or his leaders or like
you see it all the time some kind of thing along those lines whatever we all have hard times you all wind up
there at the bottom you know but one thing to take advantage of when you're down there one of the
most important things to take advantage of when you're down there is your sensory perception
of what it is that's actually attacking you suddenly you're down there suddenly you've been brought
low and you can tell
What do you run to?
You know, you don't want to admit it.
But you know when things are at their worst.
And you're struggling and battling and fighting and every single moment of your life,
something's wrong and it's almost impossible to get out from under this problem,
only to find that problem and only to find this problem.
And you realize when you don't have the money to cover it up
and you don't have the, or whatever the situation is.
You realize that when you're in those moments of panic and fear and struggle and failure,
you see a break in the madness, a break in the chaos.
Where do you go?
You know what I mean?
What do you do?
I'm talking real now.
Don't tell me you reach for the Bible.
I'm talking about you've been stressed out for months.
You've been struggling.
and nothing's going your way.
And then suddenly you find you have some free time.
You find you have a moment.
You find that the world has gone quiet.
And what do you run to?
Where do you run?
What sort of proclivities that you chase down like a starving lion, right?
Who has found a wounded gazelle?
as in those moments, man, you can really start to understand your demon.
You can really start to understand it.
You can start to see what it does, how it whispers to you.
Like I said, when things are going really well, you can't hear the whispers.
You can't hear them as well.
They're out there with your laughter and everybody's having a good time and it's a blast.
And the quiet, malevolent whisper.
of the enemies, it's harder to discern.
But when you're brought low and you're alone,
and your brain kind of aches and your soul kind of aches,
there are things that we all run to to patch ourselves up quickly
in order to get back out there and to be who we are in the world.
And I always feel like in those moments you can hear it.
you can hear that which you are wrestling against right you can hear it you can feel the presence
you can feel the presence and i think that's the only way to actually fight and win well what is it to
win the other thing about battling demons and this is one
One of the most unnerving things about it is, there is no win.
There's no winning.
Right?
Some of these ideas are disarticulated so well in the Warhammer world, and you can poo-poo it all you want.
But there's been 30 years of demon fighting in that world over there.
And a lot of thought has gone into it.
And while it may not be biblical, there is a lot that you can learn from it.
Can you banish your demon to never return again?
I'm not sure.
What I am sure about, though, is if you can recognize it, if you can discern it,
if you can be real enough with yourself to say, these are the things I struggle with,
this is what is standing in my way.
This is what's standing between me and God fundamentally.
Well, that's how the battle begins, right?
That's at least how the battle begins.
Now, from there, I mean, there are many ways to attack.
There are many ways to attack.
but you have to be able to understand it through honesty with yourself you know you're struggling
you're suffering addiction is a great thing it's a nightmare you know what i mean it's an
absolute nightmare that just rips people apart families what one of the most beautiful things
about it is what God knew forever and scientists have discovered in psychologists or whatever
is that it's a placeholder. That's what it is. It's a placeholder for the thing that you really want,
that you really need that's missing. It's a placeholder for some pain or for some
schedule that you're upholding that you simply cannot on your own
me
over time
over duration
you know what I mean
you wake up and you go my guy
could I do it again
oh god how am I going to find God
give me the strength to do it again
and sometimes God gives you
the strength to do it again
and then sometimes
you find the strength elsewhere
or at the end of the long day
you find the strength in a
in a bottle
right
but there's no denying it you know what i mean it works
and people utilize these things and i think they fall
they fall far and they fall fast
into the demonic
i don't think anyone's exempt i think we're just quiet about it
right? I think everyone's quiet about it. You look at the world today. And for what? The last five years at least, the behaviors of the people on this planet, you struggle to even explain. You struggle to explain how a person gets to the point. Well, it brings me back to the, I'm pretty sure it was the guy. No, that was not the guy. The Minnesota shooter. Was it Minnesota who shot up the
church through the windows one of the most i'll bring it up on the show show you guys
because it is so it's rare you get it nowadays in such a straightforward way right but his image
that he drew of himself looking into the mirror and seeing a demon was one of those
revelations it was like a it was such an unnerving thing to see for me you know what i mean
and i'm a guy just unnerving you know the parkland shooter also from jail has drawn
all sorts of demonic things demon faces terrifying demon faces now i could tell you i've never
seen anything i don't think i've ever seen anything truly demonic in my life have you guys
have you guys ever seen like the demonic have you ever seen a demon have we ever had visions of
one such demon i had a vision one time but i don't think it was demonic i don't even know
if it wasn't it may have been a dream um and it was of
I was in a sensory deprivation tank, which when you talk about the demonic, I mean, now knowing what I know, it does kind of feel like, I better be careful.
You may want to be careful with sensory deprivation, right?
It does feel like you're opening the door to something.
I found it good.
I remember a presence, like above my head.
It was like a clean, shaven face and head.
Not demonic whatsoever, but it was just there.
It wasn't doing anything.
It was just like a floating head to top right of my skull.
And I remember just sitting there going like, is this real or am I asleep?
You know what I mean?
Because in a sensory deprivation tank, you could fall asleep.
easy right it's almost perfect you're almost in a dream right but those of you don't know
you're in this solution of absum salt and water and there's so much salt in the water that you
just float you literally float sort of like the salt lakes the temperature is kept at 96 degrees
or 98 degrees or I'm sorry
98 or 99 degrees
and you could choose to have light on
and that kind of stuff if you want to music
but I just do it in the complete darkness
and you kind of lose
sense of yourself
after a while
you got to kind of go in with a to do list
you know what I mean at least to some degree
you want to go in with a to do list you want to be
in the sensory deprivation tank
and have a to do have things
to do you know what i mean
prayer
gratitude right those kinds of things
i like to really open my mind up the problems that i'm having and try to just let
the brain figure it out you know it can help
but you know you read things the more you read
warhammer the more nerve-racking these things become
because there's always something going on in the Warhammer world
where some guy is opening himself up to something
or some guy is assembling something
or some guy finds some relic
and he's like, oh, you know what I mean?
And then all of a sudden chaos and demons come pouring out of it
and oh my God, and then the space marines show up
and cut them to bits.
But the idea is the same, right?
the phoenix says it's dark devoid of light hope and full of fear and anger and emotions are to express
i mean that's it well you have to you also have to hack through all your weird shit right at the
beginning that's the good thing about sensory deprivation in other words you sit a person from
this day and age, which is why
I chose that Bible verse
because I really like that Jesus says
you unbelieving in perverted
generation, how long shall I be with
you and put up with you?
That's weird, right?
And Jesus answered and said
you unbelieving in perverted generation
how long, it's like
you say something you say
when you're angry, like with your dog or something.
You know what I mean?
Oh, and emotions are hard to express is what you meant.
But it's like he's angry, you know what I mean?
Like I dealt with these people.
And here I am going to sacrifice my life for you and be tortured to death for your sins,
the sins of this perverted generation.
I'm angry.
I'm annoyed.
And because, I mean, you know, you're a part of that generation.
I'm a part of that generation.
We are undoubtedly a part of a perverted generation.
You know what I mean?
You cannot deny it.
You're a part of it.
You're active in it.
You take part in it.
There's nothing.
I mean, this is why the battle against the demon is perpetuating.
Do you know what I mean?
I hope that everyone out there listening to me can...
It is important to understand that we are all perverted.
And maybe not even, like, by our own fault, you know what I mean?
But literally, I mean, this day and age, and maybe even when I was a child, like, you're brought up in perversion.
Just is what it is.
You're just brought up.
You're immersed in it.
It's everywhere.
Nowadays, it's everywhere.
I mean, it's everywhere.
It's everywhere.
It is probably like the most popular article of clothing,
women wear.
I mean, what's a crazier thing than leggings?
Is there anything crazy?
I mean, maybe it doesn't sound that way
to the average person who doesn't think about it.
But when you really stop and think about it,
like what is the craziest
what's more crazier than an article of clothing
that is basically like not an article of clothing
and everybody wears it
I'm not like it's not an attack
understand right
understand it's not an attack
every husband loves when their wife
has the leggings on
but it's the idea that you walk out into the world
and the world is surrounded you surround it
it's barely any clothes on
you know what I mean
it's like there's barely any clothes on
there's sex in everything
everywhere
and
that's the reality of it
that's the reality of it
and if a man sits there
right
if a man sits there
it goes like
I'm good
you know
nothing nothing wrong with this world
everything's fine
no temptation
no lust whatsoever
I just think
you haven't recognized
how deep in
the whole the society is
in terms of perversion
and look
your proximity to God
is kind of the only thing you can do
at the end of the day
like if you're not fully prepared
to join the army
or, you know what I mean,
jump, like, do some drastic
shit.
Then your proximity to God is your best
bet. It's your best
chance in all of this.
You know what I'm saying?
We
develop
crazy habits and
crazy things
to battle the fact that we know
we're at war
with demons.
now you might just just swap demon out for whatever you want you know what i mean swap it out for
whatever you want lust addiction infliction whatever you want
swap it out for whatever you want cell phone you know what i'm saying but we're all at war
and you know you're at war you know you're battling you know that there's a little voice
that in your quietest moments pick me up do you know what i mean
There's that little voice in your head.
When you step in.
So what I'm getting at is we build up all this shit.
We build up these walls, these gigantic walls, these gigantic stories, these epics that we tell ourselves.
One epic that everybody loves, and I understand it completely, but there's an epic of to-do.
There's an epic of busyness.
There's an epic of, you know, running and dashing, which is why prayer, which is why meditation,
which is why sensory deprivation, all of them things aren't good, I don't think.
But I'm not sure that meditation is that good.
I'm not sure that sensory deprivation is that good.
I'm sure prayer to the Almighty is good.
But the reason those things are so hard is because you're in a, you're living a life where it's like,
I cannot go to my core today.
I do not have the wherewithal, the willpower to go to my core and address the darkness.
That's what I see.
That's what I see.
There are so many contradictions and just all these kinds of things that come to light with just a little
scratching at the surface our society probably better than any of all time has become so good at adorning
the surface layer the surface level right we adorn the surface level and the surface layer with
all of this stuff these all look at all my pictures on social media i'm so good i do so well i just
so you know look at and look at all these things that i have and that i have earned and look at all
all these different medals and awards in the eyes of society that I have achieved.
And if all of that fails, and oh, I am ever so busy, I have no time.
I cannot stop for a millisecond to breathe.
And I will run, run, run until death meets me at the doorway and takes me.
Where will he take me?
Nope, can't think about that.
Let's move on to the next thing.
What else do we have to do?
Is there a dish?
Is there a laundry? Is there a trip? Is there a place? Is there a dessert maybe? Is there something that we can do anything?
The car, I'll go fix it, I'll wash it, I'll clean it, I'll go, you know, back it into a park. I have no idea. Anything. Anything to avoid what's really happening in the soul.
So one of the first things you have to do when you're isolated like that is you have to, you have to, you have to, you have.
have to get through all that you have to get through all the stories and all the things that you
tell yourself the lies that you wake up with and the fakery that you put on for the world and all
of the fake and the walls that you build you have to get through all of that before you can even
get started and that's why sitting still is nearly impossible for the average person that's why
the thought of laying floating in a small, claustrophobic, dark space for an hour, uninterrupted,
is petrifying.
It's probably the one of the most terrifying things a person could do, I bet.
Just to be with yourself, because pretty quickly, all of that adornment dissolves away
and you're back to you and your soul.
And you're demon.
Right?
And it's all right there.
And you're stuck.
You're trapped in the dark with it.
You're trapped in the dark with the demon.
And whatever happens, happens.
You're faced with the truths, though.
There's no doubt about that.
You're faced with the truths about everything.
That's the beauty of it.
You may not like them.
You may hate the truths.
Because a lot of times they require change.
A lot of times they require change that you know you're incapable of.
And you are incapable of them.
I mean, there's no doubt about it.
I'll tell you from experience, you are absolutely incapable of winning.
You are completely and totally incapable of beating the thing that you think you need to beat.
And until you get God involved, man, you might...
It's hell.
It's hell on earth.
because that's exactly what the hell it is do you follow me i want to put up this picture
for those of you who are watching i'm not doing video for those of you who are listening
um but i'm going to put this picture up from the minnesota shooter
look i and here's why i want to put it up and let me explain the context too of why this is
so interesting to me because I grew up listening to heavy metal and death metal okay I grew up
really very sort of you know hardly even bothered by the demonic or satanic you know what I mean
like it was just like an accoutrement to a band you know what I mean it's like oh yeah yeah
you know it's a black metal band and of course they worship the devil and of course they worship the devil
And of course, there's all kinds of, you know, the Pantera, they always had the pentagrams and it's six, six, six, six, and just all this stuff.
You know what I mean?
We drew it in our notebooks and it was all that kind of stuff.
It just didn't, I don't know, there's just a factor of growing up in the metal world, right?
Rob, zombie, all this kind of stuff.
So I've seen it.
I've seen guys in my band and in my friend group.
draw all kinds of crazy stuff and do all kinds of stuff and
the reason I'm telling you about this
cannibal corpse six feet under I'm talking
lyrics you couldn't even imagine right
the darkest and most depraved lyrics you could even imagine
and you know you got you got teenage boys wrapped up in this stuff
so they're going to say crazy stuff and do crazy stuff and all that kind of stuff
When I saw this picture in this guy's notebook,
I don't know if he was planning on this notebook being found,
why does the internet, I mean, websites suck so bad, they're unbelievable.
I don't know if he was planning on this stuff being found.
When I saw this picture, it really freaked me out.
Can I see him blown up without breaking everything?
This picture really freaked me out, man.
I think the childishness of it freaked me out.
You see, it's possessed now.
Like, it's clearly drawn up by a kid.
You know what I mean?
It's drawn up by a kid.
But the idea that he's...
And, you know, he put emphasis kind of, when you look at a drawing like this, you can, if you ever drew anything, then you know.
There are things in a drawing that people emphasize in the drawing, right?
Like, you look at his hair and his face, there's barely any detail.
He's got, well, the little pom-poms that he wore you, he's got a little detail.
The arm, barely any detail, right?
You look at the lines that went over the firearms, a lot of lines, you know, a lot of detail.
And the same thing with the demon.
And I think this is literal, man.
I don't think this is metaphorical.
And that's what scared me the most about it.
When I saw it, it was one of those images where I said,
this seems real to me.
like based on the actions based on the like the overwhelming actions of the of the guy and and i mean
pre planning and the drawing on the magazines and all this sort of built up hatred and everything
it did seem like a manifestation to me and to see that picture and see this is not the first time
i saw this picture by the way i don't know guys how do you tell us
story without telling your whole life story this is this is a this is it's bigger than this
picture okay and when you get into this crazy shit that happens with demons you have to
understand this is a thousands year old problem and there are reoccur there are patterns
I'm psychotic because of pattern recognition like I should have been a stockbroker
or something like that if I didn't suck so bad in math
Well, I gave up in math in high school.
I wrote a play instead, which is probably the most James thing in the world when I look back at it, right?
Algebra 2, how about I write a play instead?
But anyway, it's the pattern recognition that drives me absolutely crazy, okay?
And when I was little, I used to read a book by Dean Kuntz, kids' book of all things, right?
Imagine a man like that writing a children's book.
And maybe I'll show you the picture.
Maybe I won't.
I don't know.
But there's a scene in it.
It's a book called The Odkins, and it's amazing.
It's the better version of Toy Story.
Like, if you wanted to write Toy Story and do a really good job at it in a way that would be better than just sort of surface level, oh, the toys can talk.
And, oh, my God, they have a problem.
One of the toys is injured and needs help.
Like, if you wanted to write a really deep and engaging and fun and terrifying toy story, that's the Odkins.
and the villain in the Odkins is he's a bad dude
I mean he's no he's no Sid from next door
you know what I mean he's a bad guy evil to the core
and what's what's important about it
is that he talks to the devil
and there's a scene
which is the exact
situation of this sketch
where he walks into a bathroom
sodden absolutely soaked from walking miles in the rain
being drawn somewhere to some location
into pouring down rain.
He doesn't know why.
He doesn't care.
He's just going.
And he's being drawn by these demonic powers.
You know what I mean?
And there's a scene where he makes it into
the bathroom.
and he's looking in the mirror except the face in the mirror is not his face it's a demon it's the face of a demon
and it's such a terrifying picture that i used to love looking at it when i was little you know i'd get
the odkins down and i'd flip through it and i'd look for a handful of pictures because they were they were
truly terrifying and this one was
and it is the exact
situation
you have a man who's a monstrous man
who's intent on terrible and horrible
things
and he takes a moment to catch his breath in the bathroom
and he looks into the mirror and sees his true self
staring back at him
let's see if we can find it
for those of you listening
I can't convey it but
I'd like to see if I could find it for the listening audience.
Oh.
Yeah.
It's a thing.
I'm not going to be able to find.
Unless I go grab the book and show you,
I'm just not going to be able to find.
It's too obscure a reference to just be sitting in Google images.
Not to mention Google images is probably overcome with artificial intelligence.
intelligence and you know nonsense but it's the same thing it's the same and i think it's happened
before i think it's a thing that happens you know what i mean when you get deep enough into
this battle with the demonic and you're losing and you're giving into it all you're giving
into the temptation of it all like it's there's no doubt well how far along the path do you have to
get before you see the demon in the mirror.
Hmm. That's an interesting one.
So I can tell you that repetition, and maybe this is because patterns,
but I can tell you that one of the best ways to steal yourself against all of it is repetition.
Repetition of the word.
Repetition of prayer, repetition of your relics, right?
The pudding, the dawning and the doffing of the cross.
Maybe the, what's it called?
What did the Catholics use?
The, what did Catholics?
Where's my Catholics in chat?
J. Ferg, you're Catholic, right?
What's it called?
The Rosary.
The rosary, you know, the usage therein, the incense and so forth.
These things are ancient for a reason.
I don't think people did stuff.
just to do it do you know what i mean back in the day i really don't i think the stakes were high
you think about the stakes were high you know what i mean it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it couldn't
have been that they did a bunch of stuff just because i think they burnt these incense i think
they clutched these rosaries they said these prayers and incantations because they worked
Now, all these years later, we've been convinced that this is mythology, right?
Demons are mythology. God himself, mythology.
Jesus, philosopher.
Jay Ferg says each beat is a prayer in the Holy Rosary.
We've clutched these things through the years.
Remember, we were, who called us that?
Obama, the Bible clutching.
What did he call us?
I remember all those years ago, the Bible clutching something or others, right?
I think it was explaining people in like Western Pennsylvania or something along those lines.
It was really, it was a real slip-up.
You know what I mean?
It was definitely a slip-up.
You started to see just under the surface, what really lurked under the surface with Obama.
No, no, they cling to their Bibles and their guns.
That was it.
Yeah, that's what it was.
cling to their Bibles and their guns.
You hear what I'm saying about relics and the things that work
and also the things that the mirror of Warhammer.
The mirror of the Warhamic world.
I mean, if you want to talk about a group of warriors
that cling to their guns and their Bibles,
there's no greater group than the Space Marines.
I'm telling you right now.
they literally they wrapped them around their you know their belts and some factions of space marines
they carry you know what is their bible essentially in this fake world on their belt and
carry it into battle and use the incantations to fight but to me the real weaponry pb and family
i mean if you're listening to any of this if you've hung on and thank you if you have
to my meandering about the war against the demonic,
which I just want you to understand.
It's not been a long time.
It's been three, four years.
It's been three, four years I started going,
demons?
I don't know.
To now where it's a 100% belief.
100%.
Do you know what I mean?
There is no doubt in my mind.
And the fact that I can't see it,
and it's not running around, like with a fire burning
on the tip of its tail in my house.
Irrelevant.
Absolutely irrelevant.
But there's no doubt about it.
You're in the battle, baby.
You're in the war.
And I think the people who suffer the most of...
And it's this number that's grown massive.
The people that really suffer the most, I think,
are the ones who don't believe it.
To not believe it is to not understand the load that you carry every day.
To not believe in the demonic attacks on you
is to not understand or appreciate why you feel like shit,
why you feel like at the middle of the day that you've already fought a war.
Many of you out there, you know exactly what I'm talking about,
the end of the day rolls around and you feel like you've been hit by a Mack truck, right?
maybe you've been hit by a brimstone
and that could very well be it
you don't understand the war that you're having in your own mind
with your own soul and so on and so forth
I can tell you guys
you know
repetition repetition repetition repetition
and it's not repetitive
terrible or anything but
one of the best things I'm telling you right now
find some people
find so you listen to me right i have to imagine if you listen to me you listen to me
for a number of reasons like what i talk about maybe you like how i talk maybe you like my voice
right so you've chosen to listen to james the internet is full of people who read the bible
that's what they do they just read it there's no there's not even any it's the absolute
opposite of my show which is exactly what i'm looking for when i need my repetition
They're people. They get in front of the Bible and in front of a microphone just like me and they read it. And that's what they do. Word for word. They don't open up and go, today we're going to do a reading. Well, they might say we're reading from blank. And then boom, they're reading. These people are like armor. If you find a voice you like, find a person you like, find a, you know, the way that they read it.
I'm telling you right now these people are invaluable
because you can have the armor.
You can have the words, the verses, chanted constantly.
You can't sit in the Bible.
We got stuff to do.
You know what I mean?
You can get in the Bible.
You should get in the Bible every day.
But one thing you can do is you can throw the headphones on
and listen to, you know, I like,
there's a woman named Melody Joy.
William's and melody joy Williams is an impassioned speaker she got a great voice great passion when
she reads the Bible and I it's it's phenomenal it's a little bit of uh I don't know there's some
kind of music behind it you know what I mean but she just read straight through the Bible she
sings and stuff like that too I don't listen to any of that stuff no offense and you
know I'm always looking
I'm also always looking.
I'm always looking for other people who read it.
Because I really do believe in this guy.
I think this is a thing.
I think this is a weapon that no one's ever had before in the battle.
To be able to listen to audio of the Bible and the biblical text being read constantly,
I think it has an effect.
I feel very different.
I feel very different on days
when I've just kind of soaked in the word man
you just marinated in the word for most of the day
maybe you're doing editing work or something
some kind of work that's a little bit mindless
you know what I mean
there's something about it
there's something about it
of course prayer
you know of course
reading one of the thing about the sort of christmas what do they call it the uh the gospels
i used to read the gospels for the christmas aspects of it i never really i never really
paid attention to the demonic thwarting that goes on in the gospels too and why you know
why is that in there i mean it's in all of them like it's not in there for no again these things
Things aren't there for no reason.
I'm going to leave you with this, okay?
It's inspiration.
It's not the same.
It's not biblical.
It's not even real.
It's science fiction.
But it's delightful, and it explains sort of the battle that we fight.
In the Warhammer universe is a guy who goes by the name of Garin Crow.
And he's a castellan of a demon-hunting faction called the Grey Knights.
And the Grey Knights are expert demon banishers, hunters, killers.
And the Castellan came in contact.
Well, he really took over the responsibility.
of shepherding a sword called the Blade of Antwerp, A-N-T-W-Y-R-P.
Now what makes this blade so important is that there's a demon in it.
Okay, it's a blade from the warp, which is hell in Warhammer.
Okay? I'm sorry, the Blade of Antwer. A-N-T-W-Y-R-R-A-N-T-W.
I added a
I added a letter
so
this thing is so powerful
that there's a
there's a monster
and it a demon in it that can be unleashed
if it gets into the wrong hands
really if it just gets into weak hands
like if I grabbed the hold of the thing
you know what I mean for regular human being
grabbed the whole of it
then the monster the demon
would be unleashed
and you know
It's no joke.
I don't want to go into, in order for me to explain how dangerous it is, I'd have to do another 10 minutes on silly, goofy Warhammer lore, okay?
And I'd rather not do that to you today.
So, long story short, the Castellan has but one option.
He has to hold on to the blade of Antwer forever.
always
he has to carry it
in his hand
all the time
he sleeps with it
wrapped in his fist
it never leaves his sight
okay
that's just one part of this whole thing
the most important part
about the blade
is that it talks
okay but it doesn't talk out loud
it talks to the person who holds it and people in close proximity to it okay so it talks consistently
it never stops it's always talking to the castelland and it's always telling him let me out
and it's and it's offering him everything it's offering him every gift the universe could give
If you just let me out, then I'll make you the strongest there's ever been.
If you just let me out, I can end this war.
We can stop the slaughtering of the humans.
I can make sure that everything works the way it's supposed to work in this world.
I can give you everything you've ever wanted.
I can save your brothers from slaughter.
So the Castellan has to carry this thing around.
He can never let it go.
Never.
The only thing he can do with the blade of Antwerer is hand it over to another capable gray knight to hold it for eternity also.
To destroy it would let the demon out, right?
So this is, to me, this is the best sort of metaphor for wrangling your demons.
that there is.
And it's incredibly inspirational to me.
It really is.
It's this idea that this thing,
you're responsible for hanging on to this blade of Antwer,
and it's going to tempt you,
and it's going to promise you everything that you could ever want,
and you have to deny it and soldier on.
You can't see it if you're listening,
but if you're watching,
there's a picture of the Castellan up,
and he has these...
purity seals all over him and there are these little writings that fly off of the the melted wax
on his uniform and these litanies of hate and so forth they're all they're all to battle against
these temptations and these forces and i just think it's it's it's a it's just another way for me
to explain for those of you out there are going there aren't any demons dude like there's there's no
There's no red-fleshed creature.
There's no Biazobb outside the window with his flute, right?
Or is that pan? I don't know.
It's just a way for me to help articulate what the struggle really is.
Because I want you all to understand. It's real.
PBM family, these are wonderful holy days.
They are tremendous days to be alive.
They are days that you should delve into the Word of God, into the Holy Bible.
It is good to celebrate the birth of Christ, but it's good to also understand kind of what he was doing while he was here.
And one of the things you see him doing time and time again is casting out demons.
He's looking over a perverted society and going, oh, my God, there's a lot of work to do here.
I can't get on the cross fast enough for these people.
And, yeah, I mean, recognizing that that is the world around you
and recognizing that that is the world within you
and biting down on the bit to battle it
and using the word of God to help you battle it.
It's just our responsibility.
I don't know what else to say.
you can turn your head from it right you can turn your eyes away from it all you want but
understand it never turns its eyes away from you this is not decidedly a or maybe it is
you know on the face of it you'd like to say this is not really a preparedness podcast but
father rex who made sure that i was baptized
this year. He did a whole
45 minute class
on the concept of spiritual preparedness.
So maybe that's just what realm we're in today.
P v.N family, I'm going to get, it's been almost an hour.
Thank you for enduring this. I hope you took something from this.
I hope you understand that you're locked in battle,
and it's a battle you cannot win. And it will follow
you to the grave and each day you have the opportunity to fight yeah each day you have the opportunity
to fight so keep yourself in shape mentally physically spiritually keep yourself in shape because
it makes the war easier it makes the battle easier get into the Bible surround yourself in the
word is best you can.
You know, more importantly, though, I think, is just to sheerly recognize the war that you're in.
Without that, you can't even begin to fight.
I'll talk to you guys soon.
