live more brief appear, our life succeeding stages.
A day to childhood seems a year and years like passing ages.
Thomas Campbell, 1774 to 1844.
The end of the poem goes on to say,
heaven gives our years of fading strength endemifying fleetness,
and those of youth a seeming length proportioned to their
Sweetness, PBN family.
I'm back.
Sorry.
Go on a while.
Been planning May Day protests across the nation with Robert De Niro.
Just kidding.
Busy life.
Baseball games and, you know, end-of-school year events and, you know, the crashing waves of what it is to be a man in the midmost solitudes of, you know, the moonlit sea.
don't know how else to tell you.
So just a busy, a busy part of life, you know what I mean?
It's not without consequence.
There are people who wanted me to be on the air, needed me to be on the air.
And I apologize.
But in terms of sheer content, you know, there's always something to listen to a PBM.
I used to get a little nervous and think that I better hop up on there.
everyone's going to leave, you know, but we've got so much to listen to, so much to catch up on him.
I don't want to thank you all for participating, listening, sharing the whole thing, making this network what it is.
It is something. It is something. I will tell you that.
It's a time for food, folks. You know, it really is. It's a time for the forging and the gardening and the whole nine yards.
It's like May is here.
The weather's been great.
The young plants are sprouting in many parts of the country, right?
The dandy lion.
The easy-to-find forageables, the plantain, the dandelion, the violet.
These things are everywhere.
Actually, the violets have passed already here in Virginia.
They'd be harder to find now if you didn't recognize the heart-shaped leaf.
But I'm over here doing my judson carol, and maybe I shouldn't be.
I don't know.
I spent the morning writing a poem called The Promise of Autumn.
It's a weird one.
Maybe you'll read it one day.
I don't know.
Who knows?
I've also been inviting the presence of God into the home
over these last few days in a way that...
I don't know.
I'll have to show it to you to explain it,
but you will see it.
And there's something about it that feels really good.
of like fortification of the spirit.
And I've only just started, but it's new and it's,
some of you will love it. Some of you will probably turn your head sideways a bit.
Some things are a bit too James, if you know what I mean.
I don't know how else to tell you, but some things are.
Do we want to talk politics?
Do we want to talk?
You know what?
Let's talk about the great sponsor of today's show,
which is portable prep
because I want you guys to see this portable
prep portable wind power system
these guys have a great water filtration
system that's portable as well
I do think in
like the sheer
the sheer breakdown of your preparedness
plans
you really should wrap your head around
like electricity as a temporary
grid electricity as a
temporary solution to powering your home.
I'm on the grid in all transparency, right?
In no position to be off the grid, not close to being off the grid.
But in the distance, and, you know, one of the reasons why is the investment always didn't
make sense to me.
You know what I mean?
And the explosion of technological advancement always made me nervous.
I always looked at solar panels and said,
that's really cool.
What's it going to be next year?
That's the fundamental crux of me and solar power.
That's where we butt heads.
I always struggle with being off-grid with those solar panels really looks great.
But what will that look like in a year?
What will that look like in five years?
And now it's getting to the point where I can see on the horizon,
and people are going to own their own utilities.
If you know where to look, right?
The average person is that there's not going to be some massive marketing campaign to like,
hey, stop paying the electric company.
Start doing this.
But I'm out here like a mole, you know what I mean, digging around the Internet
and social media trying to find companies like portable prep so that you can, you know,
link in with these companies.
because from one of these places will bloom the technology to power your home completely without the grid.
I know it. It's going to happen. It's going to happen. It's going to happen in waves. It's going to happen in, you know, the way all technology does.
It'll be crazy expensive at first, and then it'll whittled down.
Before long, man, it's going to be something. But I want you to visit their Kickstarter. It hasn't launched yet.
It's launching soon. But now you can.
and go over there and you can, all you have to do is just hit the save button or the little button over there on Kickstarter that lets you get information when their wind power system goes live at Kickstarter.
Okay.
I want, I want you guys to get information.
You go over there and you save it over at kickstarter.com.
The link is down in the show description, right?
You go and save so that you're notified when they launch.
And then you can go see the whole situation.
You know what I mean?
you can back them if you like
you can help them on their mission if you like
but I think it's real important
that you at least see what's going on
you know what I mean you at least go to kickstarter.com
the link down in the show description
see their incredible wind power system
because it's sweet man
I mean it is sweet
it's one of those things that
it can be deployed anywhere
They got a lot of video imagery of it near water, of course, because of the wind, right?
And it's just one of those things.
The other great thing is the whole sort of breakdown.
The breakdown of at the bottom of the Kickstarter, you get a look at kind of the bare ingredients, you know, the base level ingredients, if you will.
The copper wires used to generate the electricity.
I think there's some PLA there.
There's some 3D printing going on with the turd.
the fan blades
look
go check them out okay
link is down in the show description
kickstarter
um
there's a whole world
out there okay
and
kreep portable prep
is a part of this world
I don't know how to convey this any
clearer okay
first and foremost go visit the kickstarter link
in the show description
Second of all, understand, right?
Yesterday we had one side committing themselves to a protest that was ineffective and did nothing, right?
And to be honest with you, I'd like to rope some of the more sane elements of that group into our world.
The Red Beacon Media Platform is something special.
And I can tell by the level of nightmares that I'm having to deal with already.
Can I tell you a secret about life?
Things that meet the most resistance are usually the most valuable.
I know that when I hit Rebellion X Renaissance,
the concept of Red Beacon Media Rebellion X Renaissance.
And oh, by the way, I will get back to you.
That wonderful lady who emailed me, don't worry.
I don't want to say your name on air.
I don't know.
Longtime fan member, wonderful person all around.
But I will get back to you.
I'm sorry.
I've literally been on the hiatus the last couple of days.
I've been writing, recording video reviews and doing other things that kept me away from the microphone.
But I met with such resistance for Red Beacon Media that I know it's the way.
There's no denying it.
It's the concept, right?
And one of the core concepts is the rebellion concept, right?
Red Beacon Media is sort of the overarching concept is rebellion and Renaissance.
I don't want to go too deep in that.
That's a whole other show.
But let's just sit on the rebellion part for a second.
Okay.
It has been said, and not by me,
but it has been said that your attention and your time
are the most valuable things you have, right?
You could see that.
You could see the reality.
That's pretty, I mean, it's never been clearer than now, right?
I could read you the T.S. Eliot.
Was it T.S. Eliot?
I think it's T.S. Eliot.
and his remarks from 100 years ago,
damn near about men staring at nothing,
papers with nothing on them, right?
Again, the devaluation of attention, right?
But companies like this,
and the ones that I bring to you,
are at the heart of rebellion.
They are at the heart of rebellion.
If you are at all interested in taking a stand
outside of prepping,
which prepping in and itself is,
is a massive rebellion.
It's the idea that I can live outside of comfort and convenience.
I can live here, right?
That idea is now bloomed into these companies
that simply will never be, maybe not never,
but a lot of them don't have the marketing power,
don't have them structured,
don't have the capability to fight through big tech,
fight through big pharma,
a fight through big everything, these gigantic conglomerates that make it impossible for them to
stand out in any meaningful way without thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars
to pump into marketing, right? Understanding these places exist and supporting them.
To be honest with you guys, like if what I'm saying to you is resonating, you should not
only visit the Kickstarter link for this company, you should share the Kickstarter link for this company.
Because this is the kind of action that needs to be taken.
If you want to build the world outside of the world,
if you look at the world and say, this is fucked, right?
Then we've, I mean, we've been doing this for years,
but we've been actively building a world outside of the world.
And if you want to participate in the building of the world
outside of that world or the parallel economy or the parallel electronics
or, like, you know, grid, whatever, these are the things that you do.
you know, to take a link like this and to share it, to support a company like this is,
it's going to do way more than any no King's rally will ever do.
You know what I mean?
And I don't mean that in standing against Donald Trump, obviously.
But I mean in sheer effect, in like the sheer effect of doing something, that changes something.
You follow me?
Because, you know, you chip away.
It's a little chisel
It's a little pickax
And you chip away
At this sort of big monolithic structure
That's been built to make sure
That you go to Target
You go to Walmart
You go get your this from here
And you pay the power bill
Because that's where the power comes from
And you pay the water bill
Because that's where the water comes from
And you pay the grocery bill
Because that's where the food comes from
And all of that
And you stay in that cycle
And you never think
You never
You never raise up above that
Mount Wall
and look over the wall and go, oh, shit,
we might be able to make our own power.
You don't climb up the wall and look a peek over the wall to see,
oh, we might be able to grow our own food.
That's exactly what they want.
They want you behind the wall.
It's perfect.
And then you go to the target, and then you pay the light bill,
and then you pay the water, and then you go to the grocery,
and then you go to the Walmart, and then you go to the bit-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-d-d-d-d-d-
until you're insane.
Right?
And you stare into your phone and have them tell you.
you, how horrible you are and what you need to change and what you need to buy to change
and, you know, how you look isn't good enough and how you talk isn't good enough and how you feel
isn't good enough and you need a pill and you need a cream and you need a hat, you need a shirt
and you need a knife and you need a good. And that's, that's the cycle. And, you know,
that's a long-ass commercial is what that is. No, I'm just kidding. It is and it isn't.
It's a mentality. It's, you know, it is what it is. Some of you are content to listen to
the prepper banter do your thing fill your pantry do your stuff stack your silver you know ammo whatever
but there are there are some of you out there who want more i know it there are some of you out there
who want to have an effect they want to leave this world better than they found it right we're in that
position right we're in that that strange position where i don't think generations before we're like
that because we're already on a trajectory right but we have the capability to leave the
world better than we found. And we're just doing our part here at PBN. I just got a message from
the Phoenix. The Phoenix will be on later today. Okay, look for that. Could be a nice Saturday here at
PBM. Something rocking on Saturday. But I wanted to get on, pay attention to the goings on at
PBN, right? Go back. There's tremendous, the daily shows were amazing this week. If you didn't see the
daily shows this week. They were unbelievable.
They always are, though. You know what I mean? This daily show archive business that we started is,
I mean, I don't know. It's hard to put a value on it, right? Medical Monday, we did fractures,
face masks, and tourniquets with the one and only Dr. Bones and Nurse Amy. Can't get it anywhere.
It's buried in the archives. Tactical Tuesday, we did World War II guerrilla fighter field craft and tactics.
Dick's, come on.
Wait, what, like, my podcast of a podcast of the Open Road was really good.
You should enjoy that one, too.
Women's Wednesday was amazing.
It was Sarah Hathaway headed up a Ladies at Preper Camp Roundtable.
Phenomenal.
Throwback Thursday, we did the, a full-length show from the NBC Guy archives,
establish a position and improve upon it daily.
one of his adages.
We didn't do a foil Friday.
I was already gone, right?
I was already off on hiatus.
Patriot Power Hour was up April 30th.
I didn't even listen to it.
I got to go back and listen to it.
Oh, Dave,
Dave put up a thank you podcast to the Intrepid Commander.
Look at that.
Of course, herbal medicine for preppers.
Rodeola.
I'm telling you, man.
Like, oh, Judson Carroll has a YouTube channel now.
You got to go subscribe to it.
At Judson Carroll 5903.
too. The least we can do, okay? Subscribe to that. That dude is, I mean, he's giving us everything.
Crazy. So, you know, you got a weekend. Spend it with us. Spend it with us. Support PBN, the great
sponsors here at the Preb Broadcasting Network. We'll be back next week. You might hear from me tomorrow. I don't know. We'll see.
But we'll be back next week, undoubtedly. And I think that's...
That's all I'm going to get into today, guys.
I think that's it.
I don't want to tell you about any broadcasting problems.
I don't want to tell you about anything coming.
I've got a lot to talk about next week.
Stuff that we've done and products we've tried and kinds of stuff, man.
Just keeps coming.
But suffice it to say, enjoy your weekend.
It's going to be nice.
Kind of cool, good, good, like, fire pit weekend.
Break out the ferro rods.
Break out the, the, the, uh, the, uh, the,
bow drills.
If it's been dry, everything's dry here in Virginia.
You could make a bow drill fire out of anything right now.
But, you know, maybe break out the fire stuff and,
don't forget to enjoy your life, PBM family.
It's fleeting.
It is fleeting, right?
Maybe I should read it one last time.
It's so good.
I was on this yesterday, this Thomas Campbell.
I'm reading the first and the last.
The more we live, more brief appear.
Our life succeeding stages.
A day to childhood seems a year and years like passing ages.
I will do these last two stanzas because they're both good.
It may be strange yet who would change times course to slower speeding.
When one by one our friends have gone and left our bosoms bleeding.
Heaven gives our years of fading strength indemnifying fleetness.
and those of youth a seeming length proportioned to their sweetness.
Stay tuned for the Phoenix, folks.
I will see you.
