You're listening to PABN. You'll pay us back the stability here. Do you know the symbol?
Do you recognize the symbol, the scours, whatever.
Tonight we meet, the continuity.
Postponed from last week and quickly brought back onto the schedule for tonight.
For those of you who are unaware, go to pNfamily.com, scroll down to the bottom,
bottom of the page, it's a lot. It's a lot over there. It's a big website, tons of stuff.
Check out what is basically the rebuilding of society. You look at it that way, you know what I mean? It is, it's a game, it's
a thought experiment, it's a sort of survival simulation monthly. We'll take,
well we're gonna take a very interesting angle to this week. An angle that some,
well at least one of you knows about. Two of you. Some people showed up late to the continuity meeting
last week, and I stumbled in there
and gave a little insight on how we're
going to do this week's continuity.
And it'll be fun.
It really does require people, you know?
So as many of you as can make it,
in order to get in to the meeting you have to be a member
So you you can sign up at PBN family comm
There are two options there to sign up
You'll see them there in bright blue with a little yellow link
You get signed up today, and you'll have access today. It's that simple doesn't take anything
You don't need my blessing nothing right. Right? You sign up, scroll down to the bottom. There's a link
down there at the very bottom of the page for you members who haven't seen it
yet. It's relatively new addition how we're handling the continuity now.
There's a worksheet. Bring the worksheet. You don't got to print it out. You can
print it out if you want. You don't have to. We we're going to fill that thing out as we go.
It's going to address numerous tiers of how society is run,
various things.
Fill that out as we go.
And by the end of the night, I'm hoping
that we have a cheat sheet for the continuity of civility through a serious cataclysmic disaster.
And we'll do a new one every month.
I can tell you right now, month two will undoubtedly be the massive homeland attack here on the
United States soil through a variety of methods and means used by terrorists.
Like that's sort of what we've been focusing on for a long time.
Now, what, four months? Three months at least.
And, you know, it's going to require a lot of thought.
You don't think about it a lot, but imagine what your state or local would have to go
through to deal with a multifaceted terrorist attack in your mid-tier city, should you be
in a mid-tier city, at more than one location.
So in other words, maybe not something as, or maybe, who knows, maybe not something as or maybe who knows maybe not something as dramatic as
9-eleven, but you know a much more coordinated attack than just
some dude
Driving into a crowd of people right? That's not gonna be
Well, we won't be so lucky. I don't think the next go
so
It's a rainy day rainy day here in Richmond. We got largely updates
today folks like largely update stuff. It's a to-do list fundamentally for you.
So if you're like looking for cheap thrills I don't know if this is the one
for you but if you're looking to change things about your day to day if you're
looking to upgrade your preparedness in big ways if you're looking to be challenged
You want something to look forward to in the future?
just you know as opposed to like
the back and forth of
Who's right and who's wrong?
Which dominates every single day anymore who's right who's wrong? I told you I was right. No, I told you I was right
And here are the facts. I got them from chat GBT so you know is what it is however you want to live your
life so the continuity probably now I would say the continuity itself is worth
the cost of the cost of entry for your prep a broadcasting network membership
But there's much more let's let's real quick a real quick and then we'll talk about ration or ruin
If you didn't listen to my podcast yesterday about ration or ruin
I'm not gonna go as deep I did I don't know like 15 20 minutes on the upcoming
did, I don't know, like 15, 20 minutes on the upcoming, really what will be the ultimate like personal survival challenge that you'll probably undertake much different than say
like a weekend survival course where you're learning to do things, make things, like really
a sort of a lonely, a lonesome struggle to see what your preps are capable of and really what you're capable
of.
It's going to be a major test of your willpower should you choose to join us on that.
Not for the faint of heart, not for anybody with any kind of medical conditions either.
But if you really want to see, if you want to see what all those
Twitter posts and forum posts and you know all that bravado really adds up to
Try yourself on ration of ruin coming May. Okay, so you got a lot of time to prepare for it
I have the link to that show down below if you're on YouTube or if you're on rumble
So you can or you can just go to prepper?
Broadcasting calm and listen to the podcast from yesterday the ultimate survival challenge ration or ruin is the title. Okay
It's a big one it's gonna be tough on a lot of well, I don't know how many people are gonna
Undertake it. Like I said yesterday, I would at least give it a week
Maybe you don't want to do it for a month. I'd at least give it a week.
And I think you'll see tremendous benefits.
You know, it's going to cut right to the bone.
That's kind of the cool thing about it, right?
It'll cut right to the bone, and you'll know right off the bat,
I'm ready or I'm not ready for the worst case scenario.
And by ready, I mean like you personally and also your stash.
So I'm at pbnfamily.com for those of you who are on video
and I'm just gonna show everybody the entrance,
the doorway into the continuity tonight,
just to double and triple up the sort of process.
So these are our membership series. Many of you watched them, many of you are into them. up the sort of Process, you know, so
These are our membership series many of you watch them many of you are into and we appreciate the support
Members you guys make the world go round for PBN. This is not a thing and then it's grown that the
broadcast and the archives themselves have grown to the point where
It's not really a thing that I personally would pay for anymore.
You know, it's great and that's a great thing.
You don't want it to be a hobby forever because it won't last, but it's grown to the point
now where it's a big bill every month, you know what I mean?
And largely the members are the ones who pay that bill, so thank you for keeping the archive
alive. We could trim the archive away and watch it die, you know. But I don't know, I feel like
seriously responsible for that. What is it now? 2018? So it's a lot of years, you know
what I mean? Seven years of podcasts podcasts It's not just about our message
But you know these podcasts are personal journals that I imagine our hosts will share with their family and their kids
and grandkids potentially
Just the sheer volume of podcasts like running through 2020
to hear the audio remarks, actions, plans, concerns,
all of that week after week through a time like that is pretty wild, particularly from
our standpoint because we're always well-informed and always kind of, you know, we're not looking
essentially for a punch line or a laugh line or a clickbait sort of outcome. We're trying to figure out what's the
best next step for us personally and then what's the best next step for
everybody at large. And it's just it was a crazy time in history so to be able to
share that with the families, I don't know, there's definitely a sense of
responsibility in that
We have the the next generation archive for those of you who are new
You really should check out the next generation like the next generation was the
The growing up of Colin Buford Ryan Buford from the rising Republic
Largely watching his son week to week grow into a man, you know, and I can't think of anything more valuable than that
From Ryan's perspective and maybe even collins perspective, you know when he grows up
I'm sure he'll get a laugh, you know, and probably have a ball
Particularly when his father passes to be able to go back and listen to all those
You know those podcasts from the past listen to the Colin the crafty Colin fun fact of the day and all that kind of stuff is
fun it's a great show man but yeah we we what we listen to Colin grow up here on
PBN and that stuff can't go away you can't you know well we're not gonna
maintain that part of the archive sorry There's no way so long story short
We appreciate you members. You guys really do make the world go around here at PBN
I'm sort of slow casing showcasing some of the things that we offer here on the the membership side
This is probably the most underutilized section these self-reliance courses
We should have a lot more of these there was a time when I said I was gonna do one of these every month
And actually I still have a food one
I have to edit and get up here and it really is a great one the the food network or whatever it is the network of
Food something or other I forget what I called it, but it's it really is kind of the way I look at
what I called it but it's it really is kind of the way I look at the growing the raising the sourcing the storing the preservation the trading the bartering
that's just though the many different tiers in my head on how they you know
bring food into the home and you know that's that so down here at the bottom
all the way down to the bottom if you're not a Human stardust what's going on if you're not?
watching the podcast but listening just scroll all the way down to the bottom if you're a member and
You'll see the continuity and the continuity is the ultimate doomsday thought experiment
That's really what it is
and just so you know it started out as like a really fun make fun of secret societies
And we probably will blend some secret society stuff into it once we get our legs here with the purpose
we had before we had no purpose and just a fun idea and
It went through various iterations and now it's kind of come back to like, okay
What's the purpose and then we can build?
you know, then we'll hand out the cloaks and the hoods and the
The vials of blood later, you know what I mean?
Human stardust go to PBN family comm and sign up come join us the prep and Patriot will be there tonight
Yeah, we're gonna have fun tonight. I'm doing a 30-minute podcast so that I can't be late for tonight's
Iteration of the continuity and look Mike my continuity symbol here
You see this this little symbol that I created all those years ago every piece of this thing has meaning
I'll break it down to you guys
One of these days maybe at the meeting tonight, but every piece of this thing has a subtle meaning and symbolism
But the symbol is so sweet that somebody decided to just plop it into their Twitter profile as their logo
You know, you know what they say, right?
Imitation is the most sincere form of
What is it I forget I'm drawing a blank imitation is the most sincere
for the lights a compliment let's go with it that way it's an old Chinese saying I think
oh the most sincere form of flattery that's it okay so I'll take it that's fine what else
ration or ruin I think we kind of touched on it's fine What else ration or ruin
I think we kind of touched on it, right?
We did the ration of ruin thing think we're pretty good on that end
If you want the full breakdown of what it is going to be
It's it
You're going to be hungry. Let's just go with that. You're going to be with you're going to be hungry
You're going to be eating a lot of survival food and hopefully
and it will rather than hopefully you're going to be
putting your your real like dirt and and mud survival skills to the test to eat you know what
I mean so whatever kind of what I really like about this challenge man is first of all it's
going to give you a clear picture of what it is what's
gonna happen to your body by eating the high sodium freeze-dried food
exclusively for a few days a week and then it's also going to immediately
protest your your skill set are you good at hunting? You know
Maybe
Maybe not a lot of people in the prepping community are like I'll just start hunting
You know what? I mean, I'll just take my 22 rifle out and shoot squirrels or shoot deer or shoot whatever
and
Then I'll forage too, you know, I'll forage and I'll
And then I'll forage too, you know, I'll forage and I'll
You know find the roots in the tubers and mix that in with the deer and mix that in with the berries and and
Just be living, you know, we'll be living
But I think it was yeah, it was TJ Morris from bear independent
He had a great take on this. He probably I mean he still has probably the same take I just don't watch him as much and I don't know if he even is on as much anymore. He's busy guy
But his take on this was really really good and it was if you could forage and kill all your food
You would be doing it anyway
like you would do that now instead of whatever it is you're doing and
I always thought that there was some there was some legitimacy to that.
There was some honesty to that.
I liked that.
I will tell you this much from my experience hunting, particularly hunting and also from
my experience fishing with people who haven't fished a lot. Excluding my, really excluding my wife and my,
not really just excluding my wife fundamentally.
Almost no one I fish with picks up a fishing rod
and is good at it right off the bat.
Like, it just doesn't happen.
It happened with Lady Liberty.
It was crazy.
It was immediate.
I can remember the first wading fishing trip that we took.
And it was a snail.
I think she caught a striper in a creek.
You know what I mean?
So chances are, no matter where my head was at in our relationship
at the time, that was probably like on the shallowest of levels, that was like the defining moment.
Like, probably, probably marry this lady. She's just casting a bass assassin around,
you know, having not really fished much her whole life and pull a striper out of the Chester
Creek in Pennsylvania, which is just doesn't really happen. You know what I mean? I fished
to Chester Creek my whole life and caught like two or three stripers
They come up like they sparsely come up from the Delaware River
Like spar you catch me and my dad would catch him like all those stripers are up. We got one. Oh my god
It's amazing
pretty funny
So
Anyhow You didn't get no notifications from the monsters over at YouTube?
Tsk, tsk, tsk. I did get your comment over at YouTube though. I got the
notification about your comment, FireWolf, in chat. So anyhow, my experience with
hunting and fishing has been that if you don't have experience,
it's not a light switch.
It's not a thing where you're going to be like,
I'm a hunter now.
I'm going to go kill stuff.
I was actually having a conversation with Future Dan
because ration or ruin will coincide
with some hunting seasons, mainly turkey.
And we were figuring out
like should we go out and do some turkey hunting together.
But the you know, the big problem with turkey is they got better eyes than you.
I don't care who you are.
That's the biggest struggle with turkeys.
They're sneakier than you and they got better eyes than you.
So if if you think that you're gonna traipse around
in a new spot and, or even in an old spot,
like there's not really much traipsing.
You're not stalk hunting turkeys.
You fundamentally have to scout an area,
find out where they are and sit on that spot and pray.
I've done all of that.
You know what I mean? I've done all of those things.
And I have, in scouting, I have walked up on turkeys and watched them disappear
into the woods. Walked up on them in a field line at Brewery Creek Lake and
watched them see me slowly approaching and they slowly backing into the woods
and then once they're in the woods it's you know good luck so just one of those
things you know to consider what I like about the challenge again is you wake up
on the day that is forage and hunt day to eat that's your only option to eat and you go
well
wonder
wonder how many
calories I'm gonna come in away with
Prep and Patriot said a turkeys been hanging out in my backyard off and on for the last two years the self control not to
Break out the bow and deal with it without no one knowing. Oh
Yeah, I mean I
would definitely 100% I would have shot that turkey already you know what I'm just you know it's not a
admission here or there or an accusation or anything along those lines I just
know I wouldn't be able to deal with it there was a time in my life guys where
I was dreaming about turkeys
I was thinking about was going out and trying to hunt them and it's so
sucking so bad
That I was having dreams of prep and Patriots backyard
Like I was having dreams of looking out my bathroom window and oh my god, there's a flock of turkeys out back. I can get one
Hunting is not easy bow hunting is really not easy
Hunting is not easy. Bow hunting is really not easy. I could talk for an hour about failed hunts for real.
But that's what I like about the Rashing a Ruin challenge.
You know what I mean? It becomes a matter of what are you going to do in the face of all of this?
What are you going to do?
So I'm not going to go on and on, on folks we're 20 minutes in we've got a
show tonight we're gonna have Mike Sieglander on with us from the it's not
the American Warrior the Everyday Warrior podcast the Everyday Warrior
podcast he's a shooting specialist and has a lot of great sort of thoughts
about self-defense and responsibility, discipline, those kinds of things. It's gonna be good conversation. I mean, he's the type of guy I listened to
a bunch of his podcasts, I found him. Did I find him? I think I found him like perusing
X or something like that. And he just seemed like one of those guys that you could pull
into the prepper broadcasting network and it would be seamless
You know what I mean?
So he'll be on tonight 9 pm eastern. I'm gonna try to wrap that up 30 minutes 45 minutes max
it's gonna be a good good conversation for sure and uh,
And then it's off to the continuity
off to the continuity folks and
The only thing i'd ask other than that out of you guys from today's show is to
head on over to Lima tango survival comm and
Support Lima tango. So, oh, you know what though? I think they are still running the MRE bag promotion at
Pack fresh USA our sponsorreshUSA. Wow. Thank you, my man. Oh The Patriots saved the show he saved the show Wow
