Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to P.B.N. You're playing back the stability here. pbn family we made it to friday can you believe it listen to judson carroll yesterday make it a point not only to listen to his podcast yesterday but to share it with everyone you know and I mean everyone you know Judson put together probably the best piece of content on what's actually happening in western North Carolina that I've heard and everybody needs to hear it everybody needs needs to hear exactly what he has to say because he is positioned right in the center of it all. He's communicating with people who are going through it,
Starting point is 00:01:14 and he's got some information about donations. It's just a lot. It's just... Sorry, I'm leaving the yard here. He's done a serious service and it's up to us now to spread it around to as many people as possible so that they can get their eyes opened about what's happening. It's a very measured podcast.
Starting point is 00:01:39 It's not like something I would do. He stayed on point, tried not to make it very political and so forth. And he just did a phenomenal job with it. So give it some air time, man. Because this is my number one concern with this right now. with this right now. We are, our heads are looking at a situation where it's like, well, we probably got like some weeks until recovery. You know, like that's what the brain is doing right now. We got some weeks till recovery. Things aren't right right now in Western North Carolina. You know, give some money, do some things, and then move on to our next problem.
Starting point is 00:02:28 We're keeping these people on the radar for as long as possible is essential. You know, this is going to be another forgotten community. You know, we've had these forgotten communities. This one is going to be a forgotten community. People are going to be, well, homeless, you know, largely forgotten about. And it's ugly. You know, it's a very ugly thing. So listen to Judson, okay? Listen to Judson. You can use some of the links that we've provided over the last few days to donate money if you so desire it. Again, if you donate $50 to the cause and you get me a screenshot of that donation, I'll get you a signed copy of my community preparedness book or preparedness book, whatever you want to call it,
Starting point is 00:03:23 called Come Unity Community. It's a great read. I wrote it years ago when I was just starting our own community garden. And, you know, all these years later, it's not to say that we have the most prepared or even linked community of all, but, you know, it's a different thing. I'm certainly not isolated on a suburban street surrounded by people I don't know or who hate me or, you know, we have a network here. And it goes a very long way and a disaster and you kind of are going to hear stories about that, I'm sure, in the coming weeks and months.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Along with the chaos in North Carolina, wow, that sun feels good. It's been a while since I felt the sun on me. As long as the, along with that chaos, you know, I made the announcement that the strike is over, the port strike is over, there's going to be some catch-up time on that, but, you know, the great news is that's a done deal, so we don't have to worry about three weeks going by, four weeks going by. I don't know. There's a lot of thoughts about it. I've had people reach out and ask me if they think it's the Democrat Party took care of it real nice and quick and clean, so America wasn't dealing with that going into the election because that could have easily gone right into the election.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Don't forget we are now, you know, well, what's today? Today's exactly a month, isn't it? The 4th or the 5th. Guys, I've been completely and utterly overwhelmed lately. And I'm really hoping things slow down a little bit. And what do I mean by slow down? Just sort of the personal and professional waves of things. You know what I mean? Just in general.
Starting point is 00:05:22 Like I'm ready to settle into a nice, boring holiday season, which I know is not going to be the case, but it would be nice. I'm ready to see family. I'm ready to do some shows on preparedness basics and preparedness topics and preparedness projects. But I feel so inclined lately to put shows out that are recapping these monumental things that are happening. And I'm nervous that it's just going to be monumental after monumental.
Starting point is 00:05:50 We've reached the monumental point. You know. X7 and X9 solar flares are in the universe right now. I think the X9 is either hurtling towards Earth or starting to make it to Earth. Yeah, this happened too. This happened yesterday. Crazy, right?
Starting point is 00:06:14 The things that happen in a day are just astounding lately. And I think it's because we've created this network of information that tells us all about the threats. What we have to be careful about, though, is with all this stuff happening, we have to be very careful about outcomes, and we have to measure personal outcomes, right? In other words, there's absolute chaos in the Western Appalachians, right? Not the West, in the Appalachians, in the Southeast. Absolute chaos.
Starting point is 00:06:46 But for the vast majority of you listening, it's important to recognize that you haven't been hurt at all. Yes, it's sad and terrible and we have a duty to keep the media focused on it and the American people's eyes on it. But it's also important to understand that this has no effect on you if you're not in that area. None. Right? No real physical effect. Like you're not in that area none right no real physical effect like you're not hurting for something wanting for something there's something you can't have the port strike you know barring some people doing some panic buying and that kind of thing the port strike hurt no one who's the i mean i don't know i'd never guess in a million
Starting point is 00:07:23 years just like i wasn't going to guess what that hurricane would do. I would never guess what a solar flare can do, okay, or will or will not do. But if this passes without any issues, then this will be another one of those things we get excited about and we have to measure. Like, okay, it happened, it came in, it was scary, it was anxiety, and it did nothing. Like the last one essentially did nothing. Now, I don't know if this one will do nothing, you know. The other piece of that puzzle, though, when it comes to anxiety and threats and all that kind of stuff is what's your mitigation, right? Right? So for the average Joe, X9 solar flares coming, you just started thinking about solar flares and EMPs and that kind of thing.
Starting point is 00:08:16 There is some, speaking of power grids, there's some very interesting stuff to... There's a big story with the power grid in North Carolina and watching that piece of that power grid recover is going to be very interesting. Because it's a sort of a microcosm of one of our largest concerns, which is damage to the power grid at large. So that will be interesting. But if you're new and you don't have any EMP protection and you're thinking to yourself, here comes a solar flare, what should I do? You've got the, well, maybe nothing happens, right, to sort of help you deal with that anxiety. What I'd also recommend, though, is some real legitimate EMP protection, you know? So we have several different ideas and concepts.
Starting point is 00:09:03 We have several different products here at my home. Of course, if you really want to get deep into it, if you really want the real deal protection, you want to go to FaradayContainers.com. If you have a lot of stuff that you want to protect from an workbox, a five-foot metal workbox, check out faradaycontainers.com. You know, they're creating sort of the most hardcore EMP protection that I've seen. And they're a sponsor here at the Prepper Broadcasting Network. We're proud to have them. But we do have to be careful. We have to measure all this stuff.
Starting point is 00:10:09 We have to measure outcomes. And make sure we're not just huffing and puffing. And know that there's enough. We can recap. And say okay. Was this as bad as we thought? And then we can also recap and say. What can we put in place. To mitigate the anxiety for the next go-round because we know
Starting point is 00:10:25 we're ushering into an age where things are going to be crazy right we know that like there's no it's there's nothing you know that this fall is going to be crazier than last fall and probably a number of different ways right so what are we doing to get ourselves in a position to deal with that, right? We need to be in a position to deal with that. It's a big deal. Otherwise, we're just going to be going, oh my God, huffing, puffing, huffing, puffing. Something bad is going to happen. And I'm not prepared for it, or maybe I am, or maybe I'm not, or I'm not sure if I'm prepared for it.
Starting point is 00:11:05 You know what I mean? Now, I've asked you to share PBN with people. I seen yesterday that happened, and I thank you. That happened. I looked at the data. I can tell things happened yesterday that I want to happen more regularly, and I appreciate that. That happened yesterday. That I want to happen more regularly.
Starting point is 00:11:24 And I appreciate that. You know we have the firepower to do some amazing things. For the world right now. And that's really kind of what I want to do. You know that's what I want. Stay tuned this weekend. Obviously at noon we're going to have Carl B on. I've got a show in the chamber for L. Douglas Hogan.
Starting point is 00:11:52 That may be out today or tomorrow. Plenty of content. Like I said, don't get overwhelmed. There's a lot going on. Donate where and if you can. And yeah man, spread the word. Prepper Broadcasting Network. It's almost too much to wrap your head around these days.
Starting point is 00:12:12 And we're doing our best for you, okay? Talk to you soon.
