Starting point is 00:00:00 Good to be live. What is up everybody? Ominous suspense. Welcome in. So, I wasn't even planning on being on today. Wasn't in my plans to come on to Rumble or anything along these lines. As you can see, it's a bright day out. I have no light. This light hitting me is from my window here.
Starting point is 00:00:36 But we're experiencing the largest IT outage in history right now. Not my words, the words of professionals, okay? Let me make sure everything is clicking and clicking. We're live, podcasting live. We are also live on Rumble. Let me tell my people in Element that we are live so that they know. I just did a massive Instagram broadcast on this with Jay Ferg from Phoenix Survival. We're going to go over all the stuff that is
Starting point is 00:01:07 happening at the moment it's affecting everything from airplanes to hospitals okay i've seen a lot of a lot of different yap about stuff that's going on we're not here to verify every single thing but we'll tell you what we can tell you okay i gotta get these guys a link how can i get these guys oh i know so if you're out there and you're listening live and you're in rumble or you're in the element chat obviously what you're experiencing is important you let us know we can share it with everyone else the The most disturbing and most sort of short-term, large-scale effect that I heard about on Instagram was from a friend of a friend sort of comment about ATMs and gas stations. I have read nothing else about it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:02:03 That's the long and short of it so far. Let me find a link real quick. What we're doing today for you guys, you know, we talked about a lot of things. We talked about a lot of potentialities. We talked about could this be cyber attack? Could this be cyber attack? What it sounds like thus far is a crowd strike glitch. What's most unnerving is this latest from 7.30 Eastern, July 19th, says it could take weeks to fix after system failure double whammy. The ongoing IT outage that struck dozens of companies around the world in the recent hours could actually take weeks to fix, according to an expert. Now, you know, experts.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Quote, an IT failure double whammy has brought the world to its knees this morning, and the ongoing chaos will be costing businesses billions of pounds every hour. Just to put that in perspective. Billions of pounds every hour is bananas. All right. So let's get into it here. There's a bunch of crazy headlines. You know, the biggest outage in history is no joke. It's a thing. You know, right now it's being called the Microsoft crash and wreaks havoc and, you know, an update didn't work right or something along those lines. Let me close some of these windows. Why did I put that in the open chat?
Starting point is 00:03:32 What's it mean to you? What does it mean to you? You know, that's what's important right now. What does this whole situation mean to you? I'm sorry that I am like whited out. I don't know how to fix that really. What does it mean to you? If you're being affected currently, then of course that's a problem. That's an issue in and of itself. What is most scary is the effects we don't understand yet, like the effects to the healthcare system that will, I'm sure, iron out as the day goes on or at least reveal themselves as the day goes on. And that's going to be a thing. That's going to be a nerve-wracking thing in and of itself. You need to look at this as an opportunity,
Starting point is 00:04:16 okay? Because look, these lines of communication are open. Imagine they weren't. Imagine these lines of communication were not open, right? Imagine you couldn't hear from anyone anymore. You don't think that could happen? Okay, I'm at the mirror. Issue related to a bug in CrowdStrike system CEO says, United Airlines resuming some flights. It says, United Airlines resuming some flights.
Starting point is 00:04:50 CrowdStrike CEO confirms outage was not security incident or cyber attack. CrowdStrike fix may take days to work. And Microsoft breaks silence. So, you know, massive amounts of industry being affected here. I wish I could get a – I had an article earlier today that gave me the list of industry banks trains health care worldwide this is worldwide you know what i mean garden girl in chat says that her husband had a interview today probably have to do it another day because of the outage there's so many people with issues at the moment pertaining to work carl b in our carl be the friday, the host of The Strange Truth, which airs Fridays, right now has mentioned.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Here we go. The biggest IT event in history just occurred. Spectator index services disrupted. Sky News is off air due to the outages. Oh, this is great. Carl B. is the man. Carl B. with The Strange Truth, Friday show, unbelievable. He just hit me with exactly what I needed.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Carl, if you're out there listening, dude, thank you. Thank you. This is the breakdown. It's pretty extensive. Sky News is off due to outages. Services disrupted at London Stock Exchange. American Airlines, Delta, and United grounding all flights due to outage. Now that's 27 minutes. I don't know when this was taken from, but it sounds like some of the flights are going back up. Microsoft service outages affecting millions of users worldwide. Australian companies hit by massive technical outage.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Multiple U.S. states hit with 9-11 outage reports. Mass disruption to payment systems in different parts of the world, including Australia. Reports of mass disruptions across many supermarkets and retailers in Australia and the UK, Berlin airport suspended flights due to outages, significant disruption at Australian airports due to outages, major banks, media, airlines affected, significant disruption to some Microsoft services, 9-11 services disrupted. We mentioned that. This is an opportunity, folks.
Starting point is 00:07:11 It could get worse. It could be much worse. Who knows? It's in its early stages, I think. The fix will not be in for days. The payment thing should worry you most. You know, plan accordingly this weekend. If you skate away from all this and say, I got a day off Friday.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I got lucky. My direct deposit came in. I had a day off. It was nice. But it was unnerving Right Because everybody's Gotten real uncomfortable
Starting point is 00:07:48 All of a sudden Everybody all over the world Has gone like Straighten Straighten their back up Something's going wrong You can utilize this As a test
Starting point is 00:07:59 You know You can use this As a test to say What if More stuff didn't work What if the water was compromised? What if the tap water was compromised? Do we know yet?
Starting point is 00:08:11 You don't know yet. Good chance not. I doubt a lot of water systems run off Microsoft, but, you know, it is what it is. so as preppers or hopeful preppers you know you should be looking at the essential essential systems of your life sorry and asking yourself man what what would i do you know what would i do if i were in a situation where more of this stuff wasn't working. What if I couldn't even get any news updates about it? What if I couldn't even figure out what was broken altogether? What if social media was down? What if cell phone calling, all that kind of stuff was down?
Starting point is 00:08:59 I know they're saying this is not a cyber attack, and maybe it's not a cyber attack. Maybe it was just the greatest screw-up in the history of CrowdStrike and Microsoft and if that's the case then I'm telling you right now those guys are going to be in some hot water I don't understand how a business survives such a screw-up you know what I mean what's up Volcana you had some IT for us, didn't you? Let me see here. I know I saw Volcana mention something in chat. Yeah, here we go. 8.57 a.m. Seattle is all good. Flying out of Dallas today. JB Biondi. good flying out of Dallas today. JB Beyondy, um, here in drama now, lots of places going down. Volcanus in chat says, I had issues last night with some of my IT consoles, but it has settled now. However, Boston's reported that the local health system is down and nurses can't get the
Starting point is 00:09:58 medical info. See, that's, that's a big one. That's a, that's a huge deal, you know? And that's it that's a huge deal you know and that's one of the ones that i think you should keep an eye on most uh for reference company does not use cloud strike but it took out some essential ms online services which we do use so it's cascading effect remember i told you not long ago after the northern lights situation how we're playing a game of Galactic Rush of Roulette with the sun, because of all our, excuse me, because of all our digital, you know, necessities. We, you know, this is a perfect example of that. Why did I open that? Let's see. This is probably going to absolutely blow up everything I just opened my mic tech for no reason Alright Get me back to the hub of it all
Starting point is 00:10:52 Trump's 90 minute speech has disappeared And has been replaced by this So you know it's a big deal Good to talk to you Volcana Even if it's through chat I always love having you on Good to talk to you, Volcana, even if it's through chat. I always love having you on. Volcana in chat says,
Starting point is 00:11:15 Cybercriminals could only hope to make such a mess as this. It's a big one. Microsoft crash wreaks havoc. World plunged into darkness. My favorite thus far, my favorite quote thus far was from an expert who said, this is what we were worried about at Y2K. This was the Y2K we were worried about. I thought that was awesome.
Starting point is 00:11:37 I thought that was pretty awesome. I thought it was so awesome, in fact, that I decided to put over at pbnfamily.com down in the description below you'll see a link to pbnfamily.com if you are not a pbn member if you don't have access to all of our membership only podcast videos pdfs all kinds of great prepping information to help you deal in situations just like these. You can join for $10 off. We're going to do it all weekend. PBNFamily.com. Sign up. All you have to use is the promo code Y2K24.
Starting point is 00:12:19 It's in the description down below of both the podcast and the video. Y2K24. Because it's a great opportunity. You know, when these eye-opening events happen, the first thing that happens to me is I'm like, thank God for the PBA family. Thank God for the hosts. Thank God for all the messages that are streaming in right now, giving me the real deal, the real story, you know? Let's check in with the hospitals and see what's up, because the hospitals to me is kind of the most terrifying.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Global tech outage live updates at AP News. It looks like flights have been grounded and office hit as Internet users face disruptions. A widespread tech outage grounded flight. About 15, okay, three minutes ago update. Oh, this is a good one. We'll keep this one. About 1,500 U.S. flights canceled by late morning, FlightAware says. By late morning, the East Coast, 1,500 flights, 4,000 delayed.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Delta canceled 500 flights. American Airlines, 300. United, 200. And those numbers don't include flights on their regional affiliates. CVS drugstore and pharmacies operating normally. So that's a good thing to know in terms of prescriptions and so on. Ten minutes ago, this poor guy, George Kurtz, this poor son of a bitch comes on and has to say,
Starting point is 00:13:55 we're deeply sorry for the impact we've caused the customers, to travelers, to anyone else affected by this, including our companies. Wowee, buddy. You're going to need to do better than that. This is amazing. Capital Economics says outage likely to have little impact on world economy. The global computer outage likely will have little impact on the world economy. What? It already is having impact on the world.
Starting point is 00:14:21 How can you down 1,500 flights and it not affect the world economy? See, some experts you listen to and you go, yeah, that makes sense. That guy's probably right. And then some experts you look at cross-eyed and go, what the hell are you talking? How could it not affect the world economy? They can't take payments in Australia. What are you talking about? It won't affect the stock market because that's a fake anyway.
Starting point is 00:14:47 So to that degree, he's right. We don't even know when this thing's going to be fixed. Historic mistake by CrowdStrike. A county in Michigan closes non-essential operations for the day. We'll probably see a lot of that, particularly being a Friday. South African airports unaffected. Universal Studios in Japan's affected, in case you were wondering.
Starting point is 00:15:16 The good news is an hour ago, President Biden's team got in touch with CrowdStrike. Standing by to provide assistance as needed. That's the president, just in case you were worried. Biden is getting continued updates throughout the day, and the administration is standing by to provide assistance as needed. Okay? Way to go.
Starting point is 00:15:40 So don't worry about anything. Everything's going to be fixed. Joe's on it. We're good to go. Everything will be fine. Joe Biden and his team are ready to swoop in, save the day. Okay. Uh-oh. Jor8 in the live chat on a PBN podcast. What is going on? Jor8 says, but are we being told the right story? What if it was an attack? Jor8 says But what if
Starting point is 00:16:02 Are we being told the right story What if it was an attack Bad time Hey Brett Guy What's up man How are you Remind me who Brett Guy is You know my name
Starting point is 00:16:11 I know I say my name on here But should I know you better than Than I think I do And I apologize if I should have Talked to a lot of people this morning But thanks for joining us here On the Rumble side of things. Like I told you, well, it's a question, right?
Starting point is 00:16:32 Would they admit to a cyber attack if there was a cyber attack? My gut tells me not a cyber attack. My gut tells me humans screw up. Humans screw up, man. You know what I mean? And it gets big. It gets big and it gets big fast. Let me go to the PBN think tank and my host's chat to see what they're talking about.
Starting point is 00:16:55 Major problems with the hospital's computer systems here in New York from Carl B. 9-11 not working in NJ, New Jersey and other areas from j ferg over at phoenix survival um patients and hospital staff share fears frightened health hello the phone the microsoft attack has got my phone all scared frightened frightened health care staff and patients are documenting the chaos inside hospitals caused by major worldwide out it outage um tiktok videos staff can be heard shouting with panicked voices at the camera pan so computer that's been knocked offline we saw stuff like this during covid so be careful with what you see. This is a very important one right
Starting point is 00:17:48 here, okay? If you're listening to me read off my cell phone, I'm sorry, this is a low-budget operation, but I appreciate each and every one of you. It's me in my incredible podcast studio here. Meanwhile, a nurse in California detailed how staff have had to revert to pen and paper and using iPhones to treat patients and prescribe drugs, raising the risk of errors. That's how fast you go back to pen and paper. Never forget it. This happened to a car dealership in Utah that got hit with a major cyber attack. dealership in Utah that got hit with a major cyber attack. When it's, when it's a hospital, when it's a car dealership and that kind of thing, and it's, it's a short term, oh, 916 Brett,
Starting point is 00:18:40 I'm so dumb, man. What's up? My, yeah, it's just a lot of people. I'm sorry. Um, I appreciate you, bud. Um, anyway, when this stuff sort of happens, it's like the effects are instantaneous. Planes hit the ground. Not in a bad way, but planes don't leave the runway. And if this type of thing affects your life, all of a sudden the water is not safe. All of a sudden the power doesn't work. All of a sudden, the power doesn't work. All of a sudden, this magic box doesn't work anymore. Oh my God, my magic box doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Do you know what I mean? That's how fast disruptions like these happen. This is why I always say war equals off-grid. You say something like war equals off-grid because it's easy to remember. War equals off-grid because it's easy to remember, right? War equals off-grid. It's a good way to sell a book on top of it if I'm being transparent, right? The off-grid projects book. But on top of all that, you have to understand what off-grid is. You have to understand how much it will affect you. None of this is happening, right? None of this will happen in an off-grid situation like that. You'll be lucky if you have cell service. I am not from Sacramento.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Oh, I'm sorry. Garden Girls in the freaking rumble and the live chat. Just whatever chats are necessary, that's what happens. I wonder if I could tone this down a little bit. That really didn't do much. Anyway, so, you know, the effects are swift. That's what I'm trying to convey. The effects are swift, but the reason I can get up on here, Jay Fer-headed and talk to you guys is not because of something that I get up and – it's not my actions personally. It's not my level of personal calm and all that.
Starting point is 00:20:35 It's the vast amount of people that interact with me on a day-to-day basis, especially when things like this go crazy. When you start getting information from all over the country, from hosts, from listeners, from people who watch your stuff, and you can start to build out a picture of what's going on, it changes everything, man. You know, it really does help. I don't know what to tell you. Well, I do know what to tell you. I don't know what to tell you. Well, I do know what to tell you. Go to PrepperBroadcasting.com and at least start listening to the podcast if you're not already. Now I'm talking to the Rumble audience, you know, if you're listening. If you're going to put in place exist in some sort of an information form over there.
Starting point is 00:21:31 All, you know, if you want to learn about emergency communications, if you want to learn about bolstering security, we have entire hour-long presentations, masterclasses with Dave Jones, the NBC guy, on home security. It's all over there. It's all at your fingertips. And I'm telling you right now, this could be a dry run for what we have to deal with in the fall. And I don't mean a dry run for a cyber attack. I just mean the sheer effect of waking up on a Friday and being told that everything's broken.
Starting point is 00:22:04 You know? New York as well. Yeah, we heard from Carl B. We know that several states' 911 services are not working. Oh, crap. MeGray is in the chat. Do I need to do the PBN Daily News live? live what the hell i don't even know what that means me gray but me gray says have we been updated on biden's ipad install of con academy kids you know i i really messed up gray i really messed up members if you haven't listened to my podcast from yesterday, my members-only podcast from yesterday on just that topic, and this post is about preparing to sustain your kid's education should things get so crazy in the fall that they take them out of school. I totally forgot about
Starting point is 00:23:03 Khan Academy. Khan Academy was something that I used a lot during COVID when my son was out of school. That was a cool computer-based learning. All of the different subjects and grades, all provided up there in Khan Academy. It's good. It's good. What else? Let's see. Let's update here on our AP article that's going minute by the minute.
Starting point is 00:23:29 We've got an update from one minute ago. Looks like Maryland courts. Oh, there's a couple scary ones that popped up. And remember, the expert came out and said that this wouldn't affect the world economy. Genius. A genius. I don't know who he was. Maryland courts, offices, and facilities will be closed to the public today due to the outages. Now, you know, that's state workers. That's government workers. They might look for a reason, you know, to have the Friday off. The Maryland Department of Emergency
Starting point is 00:24:07 Management, on the other hand, is increasing the state activation level from normal to partial, meaning there's an event that requires significant monitoring. It's a big deal. Brazilian bank says digital services are unstable. That's a problem. They got enough problems already. Bradesco has more than 100 million clients cyber outages affecting them ATMs are working in Brazil Mass General Brigham canceling all non-urgent care visits
Starting point is 00:24:35 this is happening in a lot of hospitals they're telling people don't even come they're canceling surgeries it's a lot man, it's a mess it's a lot, man. It's a mess. It's a mess. It's a mess. How do you deal with a mess like this, you know? The Blue's Clues app. I like that. Okay. Well, I can't knock Blue's Clues. I used to watch with my niece, my little niece, my little niece who's 20's Clues. I used to watch her with my niece, my little niece. My little niece who's 20-something now. I used to sit down when I was a teenager and watch Blue's Clues with her.
Starting point is 00:25:13 I'm going to tell you, I'm going to give you a quick memory. We were watching Blue's Clues one time, Blue's Clues with my niece Mallory. Clues with my niece, Mallory. And look, I was saying, I used to use the phrase, you feel me a lot. Like I'd say, you feel me? So we're watching it and we're talking about the show and what's happening. And I looked over to you. I don't know exactly what we're talking about. I remember saying, you feel me? And she was like three or four, right? So what she would do, trying to understand what her uncle was saying, is she would grab my arm and feel me, right? And as we were talking through the show, I kept slipping up and saying, you feel me? And she would hug my arm every time I said it. It was just so fun. I'll never forget it.
Starting point is 00:26:07 It was one of those beautiful memories amidst a massive global IT outage. Family is everything, PBN family. I hope you have what you need to sustain yours. Let's see. I'm not going to stay on too much longer. It's almost 11 o'clock. And I was hoping to have an early day today. But, you know, it doesn't look that way.
Starting point is 00:26:32 I can't wait to hear Dave Jones' thoughts. I'm sure he's going to pop on and tell us all about what's going on in his world. Everybody getting to know each other in the chat good deal good deal so real quick guys uh this is the could take weeks to fix i don't know if it'll take weeks to fix who knows but then again we don't know the extent of what's been deleted and ruined let's look at world plunged into dark ages that seems like a bit much, but it is from the sun. So computer says no. Written boarding passes, blue screens of death, and check out chaos as the world reacts to being in the dark ages after tech outage. Again, I'm going to tell
Starting point is 00:27:18 you, you know, all of this stuff is designed to get you to click. You know that, right? You know that I'm as guilty as anybody else. But you should really use this as an opportunity. You know, this is a dry run. This is an opportunity for you to say, what would I do? What do I have in place to deal with something like this? You know, I was talking about pace. You should apply pace to all the systems in your life. That's like a staple of prepping. Primary, alternate, contingency, emergency. When you think about communications, primary, alternate, where do you go after the cell phone, landline, right?
Starting point is 00:28:01 Contingency, emergency, whatever. You need answers, right? Primary power is this light above my head, right? Alternate power is a blackout kit. Lights, maybe solar lights installed, things like that. Contingency, emergency, you need options for that, right? I've got a point zero energy generator down here at my feet, gas generator elsewhere on the property. These things, when you look at everything through the scope of PACE, primary alternate contingency emergency, then you have options. Look at your water, right? Your primary source of water is your tap.
Starting point is 00:28:43 I don't know why my thing won't focus right. But your primary thing is your tap, right? So what happens when it's not anymore? What's your alternate to tap water? You got bottled water, you got water filters that you can filter tap water to make it safe. What do you have? What are bricks that are filled? You got rain barrels that are filled with water, all that kind of stuff. Is there a Creek nearby? What do you have? Hubba hubba hubba. Who do you
Starting point is 00:29:12 trust? Um, sorry, my I'm dinging. I just want to see what's what. Oh, okay. Not relevant to our issue here. So when you take that angle and you apply pace to all your systems, it becomes a lot easier for you to look at a situation like this and not huff and puff. What happens outside of your control with medical records and appointments and flights, you know, that stuff just is what it is. If you have someone who has to get home, then hopefully you've planned for that as well. It's the early stages of an event like this that are nerve wracking. You know what I mean? Not knowing exactly what's going on, not knowing how long it's going to last, those kinds of things. All I can tell you is dig deep. Dig deep into what we do here at PBN.
Starting point is 00:30:12 A bunch of people have hopped on and added their intel. Received intel. All that kind of stuff about what's going on. What's happening. How it's happening. If you don't have a community like that, we're your community. We can be your community. You know what I mean? You don't have to go out of your way we're your community. We can be your community. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:30:28 You don't have to go out of your way to reinvent the wheel. We can be that for you. I want to find that AP article again that's going minute by minute. Let's see if we can bring up the AP real quick. Because I know it'll be top. Live updates. There it is. Well, the New York mayor's come out.
Starting point is 00:30:59 One of my favorites, Eric Adams. There are no calls being held or missed. No backlog. no critical infrastructure, no impact to critical infrastructure emergency operations, including the 911 system. Train and bus services unaffected in New York. Uh, okay. New York airports are affected, but. So that's the deal, man. We'll have to watch it unfold
Starting point is 00:31:26 and see how it goes. Do you know what I mean? We'll have to play it by ears in terms of how long it's going to take to get everything back in order. I'd pay close attention to hospitals and medical records and those kinds of things. You may want to check up on stuff like that if it's important to you. In the meantime, go to pbnfamily.com, become a member today so you have access to all kinds of preparedness goodies, podcast videos, spreadsheets, preparedness schedules, PDFs, homestead logs, and, you know, food production, all that kind of stuff, calculate it up for you.
