So I'll ask again, is the president working to make life more affordable for you and your family? We all know the answer is no. One actually with the gas price, I don't feel as angry with her as I did when I first heard it. I like that intro. That was good. How have you been, my friend? Thanks for joining us tonight. No, thanks for having me. I appreciate it. Folks, this is Mother of Mayhem episode nine. I thought it best to title this one, Sanctuary Insanity, as we are going to touch on,

like, you know, kind of the no-dah situation that Virginia finds itself in, which is Abigail's final executive order that she signed in her list of, I think it was 10. Correct me if I'm wrong, Keith. And that final one was to not cooperate with ICE. And now the DHS has come out, and these are their words, not mine. They were quoted saying, DHS accused Spanberger of creating a, quote, hotbed for illegal immigrant violence with her day one order rescinding former Governor Glenn Yomkin's 287G agreement, which cut cooperation ties with ICE and the Virginia State Police Fish and Game Wardens and State Corrections officials. after the latest gruesome incident, which was the unbelievable two-year-old who was killed by Ortiz Moron. Moron.

His name's actually moron. If you were fits. So the terrible tragedy that it is, man, is, you know, whatever. I don't know if we need brownie points to blame her for it. It is what it is. But I think we kind of saw this coming, what, back in episode two or something, right, Keith? We said if we, you know, you don't let ICE come in here and get these people out of here, bad things will happen and bad things have happened.

I guess the question is, do you think bad things will continue to happen? No, they will. And I guess the only saving grace with this is that the local sheriffs, they can actually, I guess, decide, I guess, amongst themselves with their jurisdiction. You know, she has jurisdiction over state police, like you said, gaming in the fisheries and those kind of folks but you know the sheriffs might be able to uh you know to push back a little bit on this but you know it's it's it's a bad situation i you know you just mentioned that one case and every time i read about it get little blips here and there just i just

i just get a pit in my stomach i mean i look at it this way with with illegal immigration and even though crime and murder and all that stuff is is down is trending down if he was not in the country, then the crime wouldn't have happened. Two-year-old's alive. That's how I look. A two-year-old girl. Yeah. Crazy. Two-year-old girls alive walking around.

And that's kind of the thing that we, you know, well, first of all, Keith joining us from the common sense practical prepper. Follow him down there. That's your ex-handle, right? At a prep underscore podcast. Great show. Great guy. Going to be a prepper camp.

I'm going to be doing an active shooter class. the Preper Camp this year. You're doing two classes or one class? No, just one class, one class, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. Yeah. Friday, Saturday, Sunday. You can see Keith, just so everybody knows who we're dealing with and how to follow them because you're going to love them. We're all suffering under the tyrannical hammer, which of course is, you know, ironic in and of itself because of the flag of the state of Virginia. But that's, That's where we sit right now, right? And so, but our chance to kind of help out, I guess, comes in 100 days, right? We're seeing the downstream effects of voting the wrong people into office. And, you know, they're deadly, frankly. And in 100 days, we have the ability to affect another election if we get out and vote. So I don't know how we get people to do that, though, Keith.

That's a tough one anymore. No, there's a lot of folks in Virginia that don't. they don't get off their butts and they don't come out and vote. So it's, I don't know. I don't know what it looks like for the midterms. I don't know if it's if we're too early to talk about picking up seats or losing seats. But yeah, people have to get out and vote. It's just plain and simple.

Yeah. And this, so if you come to the show because you don't like the governor, or if you come to the show because you want to know what's going on in Virginia politics to some degree, I mean, we're pretty much kind of focused on Abigail and, you know, figuring out how bad things are going to get. The whole motivation of starting this show was let's keep an eye on her. So we know, you know, how bad it's going to be. If three months ago, we thought we were going to be turning guns in or, you know, dealing with repercussions had we not or not being able to buy certain guns.

You know, it's a big deal. So we sought to keep eyes on, you know, what she was up to. And that's how this show came to be. But, you know, the other problem that we have is that the, you know, the Congress, the state Congress is in a bad position. and of itself with the Democrat majorities. And it could get worse or, you know,

I don't know. We beat the gerrymandering, so that was a plus. But nobody gets in votes. They will take, do they have them? They currently have the majority both, right? Let me double you. Yeah, they have the majority so they can hold on to the majority and do all the crazy they want

for a while. Yep. Then we got the injunction that went into effect a week ago. Yep. The magazine ban and the And the assault weapon ban, I guess they called it. So, yeah, that'll be working its way to the courts. But, yeah, who knows how long that's going to take. Gosh, that could be next year.

Hopefully. Hopefully it goes on and on and on until it gets up to the Supreme Court. And they go, oh, yeah, I forgot we had a Second Amendment. When I was just, I forgot what shall not be infringed meant again. Exactly. Yeah. So, you know, I don't know if we have the moxie to motivate you guys to get out there vote, but in Virginia, you know, it would be a whole different situation if we could get a

house majority, you know, just to battle against what we got going on here because we flipped everything. And I think this is just the beginning, unfortunately. Yeah, at least get the majority in one of the, one of the branches, so you can at least kind of, you know, put up some roadblocks. And I mean, that's what they did to Yon. No, yeah. They told him, they said, you know, we're just going to block everything. We're going to be obstructionist from day one, regardless of what you try to pass. We're just going to block it. So, I mean, fair play. I'm really worried about the gas price and the war and how that's going to affect people because, you know, that's a powerful tool for the Democrats, I think, is every day you drive past the gas and go, John, Trump, get out of this dumb war, man. We're dying here with

these gas prices. And I think that'll affect people at the polls. I do. You know, what I say, people vote with their pocketbooks or their debit cards, pocketbooks, I think. So, yeah, no, exactly right. You just, it's on the, on the very surface of it, like you said, you drive past a gas station, you go, you want to get some hamburger or a steak up a food line. And you're like, oh, my gosh. And immediately, you're going to blame whoever's in office, regardless if they have anything to do with it, you automatically, Republican Democrat, you want to blame the person in power. Yeah. Yeah. There's that.

And that, the other thing about the gas price and the war is it feeds into this. I mean, I don't know how legit it is. feeds into this kind of democratic socialist slash communist mentality that's out there brewing and particularly in young people's heads, which is I want to get something on the house because the system is unfair. And I don't think anybody who's in that camp looks at a Republican as a viable option. You know what I mean? They look at Republicans as capitalist old system, you know, not going to get me a house, not going to get me a car, not going to get me a whatever else, a vacation home. I don't know what people expect, but they definitely seem to be in the market

for something free from the government, it seems like lately. All these young kids, I mean, trying to get homes and stuff, they can't, you know, with the, you know, with rent being so high and not, you know, they don't have a good credit. It's legit. I mean, it is legit. My gosh, high interest rates, you know, so I can see why some young adults would look towards, you know, the, what, DSA is at the Democratic, so, yeah, I can see why they would kind of look towards it and be like, well, what can you do for me? You know, I can't get a house. Gas prices are through the roof.

I can't afford X, Y, and Z. I got student debt. What can you do? And when someone says, well, we can do it all for free, we can give you free stuff, you're like, oh, not knowing that somebody has to pay for that somewhere down the line. Yeah. Yeah, it's, well, they're in a bad position, you know, and I guess it's probably, It is possibly the worst time for as good as something like Doge's,

as good as something like Nick Shirley's findings are coming out and finding all this corruption in the government. There's so much truth hitting the airwaves, hitting the mainstream right now. But the problem is I think it feeds into that mentality that the young people have right now. And some of it feeds into the very real truth that they're living, right? Which is like people are getting rich all around me.

doing the wrong thing. I'm trying to do the right thing, and I can't get out of mom's house. Exactly. Yeah, you see all the fraud, and you and I and a bunch of other people are like, well, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Oh, yeah.

There's tens of billions of dollars more. And again, you get the young adults, and they just get even more discouraged. They're like, look, just like you said, I'm trying to do the right thing. I'm working 60 hours a week. And here's all this money that's being wasted. Why should I have to go out and bust my butt and work all this overtime when all these people are just robbing us blind?

And again, what can you do for me? Why can't I get something for free when they are? Yeah, I think that's the big deal right now. And I think that's going to affect a lot of things at the polls. I don't know if a lot of people are going to fall for the, I don't even think it's falling for the Democrat socialist situation as much as it is. kind of having no faith in the fact that things will change under, you know, if they vote Republican. Right. No, it's easier. Yeah, with the DSA and stuff, you know, if you just put your, you know, you just put your thinking cap on just for 10 seconds and you think about some of the things that the DSA is offering, you know, they want to get rid of the Supreme Court, the Senate. They don't want to just get rid of everything, you know, banking and they're just like, this is absolutely. It's communism. Yeah, exactly. But, you know,

young people out there that are very discouraged and disgruntled, they're going to give it a second look. Oh, for sure. It's difficult. I'm not necessarily going to judge them, but I mean, if I was in that position, well, I'll have to exclude me from the conversation because I have half a brain and I, you know, I'm a critical think, but people out there that are very impressionable to get told these things over, over and over eventually, eventually they're going to start believing what's being told to them. Yeah.

Yeah. they get put in that kind of a buying right i mean what what else is it well under by in uh in the chat no go ahead go ahead no it's fine it's not going anywhere with biden they wanted to you know get rid of the student loans and everyone's like that's fantastic but if you think about it for a second that has to be paid for by somebody you me and all the other people listening to the podcast oh yeah that had that has to be paid for by somebody but you get the kid who wants to wipe away 60 grand you me and And he's like, absolutely, why wouldn't I want that? Not thinking that everybody and their mom's going to have to chip in to pay for that 60 grand.

That's it. Yeah. Well, look at, I just heard yesterday our free bus service is getting reduced because we're blowing $7 million a year on bus service here in Richmond and can't afford it. So they're going to cut the bus service down. I guess they go pretty far into the county now. I'm assuming either they'll drive less routes or they'll drive. you know, less far. I'm not sure how they're going to do it, but I had no idea. It was free. Oh, the buses are 100% free. You can ride a bus. And me and my son did it the other day, just for the hell of it.

We were up by, uh, on Forest Hill Avenue and we hopped on. But he said, let's hop on the bus. I said, all right, why not? He never rode like a public bus before. Right. We just hopped on and took the bus close to home. Got off. That's it. You just get on and get off. Nice. Here's the funny part about that, though, Keith. Ready? This is what I don't understand. Seven million, which. Sounds like a lot of money. Seven million per year is what we're losing right now to give people the free bus rides. Which, I mean, if you can make it work, it's fine with me. I think it's kind of cool, to be honest with you.

Sure. This is what I don't get. Richmond is liberal. There's no way around it. Liberal, artsy, donors, the whole thing, right? Nothing wrong with that. I'm a avid VMFA goer. Thank God for them.

God bless him. They said that the donors, they can't find $7 million a year from donors even. That's why it's getting cut. They couldn't find the money to pay for the extended service. And they couldn't find donors to support it either. Now, that kind of makes me angry about donors, because I bet a lot of these donors are the type of people that would swear up and down. What we need is free public transportation like in Europe.

You know what I mean? So it's not putting your money where your mouth is kind of thing. because I know, I mean, you know the houses in Richmond, Virginia in certain spots in this town, man. There's plenty of people with plenty of money who could make that a reality. And maybe they will. Maybe they'll, maybe it's not their responsibility to or anything like that. It's just kind of one of those hypocritical things. But be prepared solutions in chat.

I also said the trap, a democracy stands until the population realizes they can vote themselves government benefits. What is that? That's Franklin. Is that what that is? I think it's a Franklin quote. I mean, he didn't say that exact thing, but it's pretty close. pretty close to their quote I think it was

Franklin one of them well and the statute just gave about what 1970s and the spending itself the dollar went a lot farther back in the 70s the value of the dollar it's devalued so much I mean it's just

yeah that seems a little low right 70s till now 20 to 30% seems low on housing I have a hard time believing that people are spending only 30% of their income on housing right now because rent, you know, it's crates.

Like, I wonder what the national average is. It's got to be $1,500, $2,000, something like that, right? Oh, at least. Yeah, I mean, gosh, even Chester, I was looking around just for kicks and giggles in like two-bedroom apartments, you know, $16,700. That's minimal. Then utilities, if they're going to cable, electricity. You know, you're looking at $2,000.

You know, and kids coming out of college, I mean, you know, if I guess you could have made it. We never could have made it. My wife and I. You know, there's no way. I was a chef out of college and she was working actually for the company she works for, and still. But she was entry level at the time. It was literally like a job that they set her up with out of college to start making money to pay the loans back. You know what I mean?

There's no way we could have afforded that. And that's not taking into account that even if you have a couple, you're probably sitting on another thousand in car loans. A month, right? Like the average car loan is insane. And the biggest problem with that is, there's no used cars like there used to be. So you can't even really opt out. You can't be like, well, I don't want to take the loan on. I'll just buy a car out and out. Or you can't as easily as you used to be able to anyway. Yeah, everybody's hanging on to their cars. I mean, I'm due to say, I've got a, just my grocery getter. It's a 99 Buickless Sabre that bought off of a co-work. Oh, it's just, it's a land yacht and I love it.

You know, it's a fantastic little, and I'm going to, you know, it just hit 100,000 miles. It was it? Like, you know, I think that's an old car. And I'm going to drive it to the wheels fall off. That's it, man. Yeah, that's it. Because, I mean, even with the exorbitant, which is another cost that's totally out of control, even with the exorbitant amount of money you've got to spend to get a car fixed.

Like, if you got to drop two grand to get the car fixed, it's, way better than having to drop half of that a month for your brand new car. You know what I mean? Because I know people that have $900 car notes. It's insane. I mean, it's literally insane. It's like, do you live in it? You may as well. Half your rent, half your mortgage, I'm sure. You might as well as right. That's, it's insane. So to, you know, to boil it all down, that's sort of the issue, right? That's the concern is, what is a kid going to look at the Republican Party in fall and say they're the ones I want to vote in because what they're going to do is this. Yep. You know, they're going to look at the war.

They're going to look at the, and I don't even think that people are sold on the, look, I'm not even completely sold on the tariff thing. You know what I mean? I don't go tariffs great. I understand how that works and I understand how that benefits me. Right. I don't. You say tariffs. Sometimes I'm like, does that mean I'm going to have to pay more?

money again. Exactly. You know, I don't quite get it. Although, you know, and the long term, I can, I kind of understand it. You know, what I would do, Keith, is I would just have a tax moratorium. That would be my goal. If I were the Republicans, I would say, we're just going to, we're just going to finagle some kind of a state tax moratorium or a Fed tax moratorium or both. And until we get out of this war with these gas, until we get out of this inflation, until we get out of all these problems until the housing market corrects. We're not paying all the taxes because immediately you help everybody working just immediately. You pay your take home gets, you know, bigger and better. Yeah, they could do that. They'd have to put it in a graph or something to show everybody, you know,

this is how much you're paying now, you know, do it for what three months, six months, whatever it happens to be. And this is how much. I mean, I know how much I get taken out in the federal state and FICA and all that. I mean, yeah, I think people would love that now. We're already $39, $40 trillion in debt. So what does that do for the debt? I mean, I'm sure it would just climb even higher than it is now. If you were to spend some sort of tax. Yeah, but the problem with that is Donald's bringing in all kind of tariff money.

That goes to the debt. Yeah, is that where is that? That is a lot of money. Is it in a bank account somewhere? Is it in somebody's pot? Where is that? It needs to be on that debt. He needs to be on that debt or it needs to be in a check form.

coming to the American people, one or the other. You know what I mean? It needs to be an offset or it needs to be... I mean, I'd rather than put it towards the debt myself, but hey, you know, whatever. But to your point, that's the big question. Because when the government gets their hands on money like that, and then all of a sudden they're like, you know, kind of reminds me like Social Security. Oh, we're going to...

We'll hold on to this for you. When you're old, you'll be fine. Yeah. Talk to a senior who lives on Social Security. No kidding. Yeah. If you ask the average American what they would want, I bet you most, most folks, I'd probably go 50-50 would say, you know, cut me a check.

But then I think folks that are more financial, that are in a better financial spot would say throw it on the debt. But a lot of people, young adults, you can't blame them. No way. No way. For 500 bucks or 800 bucks, whatever it happens to be. Yeah. I mean, that's something. I mean, there's half your rent.

I think it would be a lot more than that. I mean, last I remember he said, what? It was in the hundreds of billions or something like that. It's a lot. I think when we cut the COVID checks, we spent like $8 billion or something, right? Yeah. I think it was something. And that was what, 600 a person or nine?

I can't remember. But yeah, it wouldn't make a difference. It's time they government do something that make a difference or else, yeah, it's going to get bad. Well, something's going to have to give for the midterms because I don't see a lot at the end of the tunnel. I don't see the Republicans, you know, the next to do shiny thing, you know, for someone to, someone sitting on the fence to go, okay, you got my vote. I don't know what. It may not be the save act because Thune is screwing that up royally. I'm not sure if he's compromised, who he's getting paid by, but I don't like that.

I just look at that guy and I'm like, you're such a typical politician. He just. Yeah. I get the same vibe. Yep. Yeah. Yeah. Because, I mean, yeah, I don't know.

That's a, that's a wild. one. That save act, I just don't understand it. I just can't wrap my head around it. It seems like cut and dry. The only thing it does, you know, the only rational thing is just to say like probably lots of Democrats and even some Republicans want to cheat. You know what I mean? I don't think it's all Democrats or else we'd have, I think we'd have more support. You know what I mean? You'd have, you'd have a few Democrats across the aisle and yeah, I don't know. No, it's weird. What about 80% of the people?

Yeah, it's something like that. Of the American people. Yeah, an 80-20 issue, I guess they call it. Yeah, support voter ID and all that stuff. I mean, just, yeah, and the fact that Washington's just, you know, kicking the can down the road and ignoring what, you know, 80% of the people want, Republican, Democrat, across the board, eight out of ten votes, regardless of your political affiliation, want it.

And they're just... Put it on the ballot. we got reproductive rights on the damn ballot put it on the ballot do you want to push this say back through so that we know we're not cheating on elections or not vote yes or no do you want free and fair elections like they did with the gerrymandered vote remember yeah well if we if we lose you know if we lose the house or the senate come come the bid terms and it's just going to be a moot point i mean if we can't get something passed you know with a majority oh right now yeah that's a rap no no

we're screwed. Yeah, we're just going to be pretending elections for a while. Yeah. Maybe a long while. Could be. Could be is right. Hey, let's take a, I forgot. We got to take a, not a break, but I got to show everybody something.

chagrin i'm not a big fan of putting milk and this is this one was actually fills not necessarily his design but his it kind of came from oh he put the story in here when i was a young lad i used to spend summers in evergreen louisiana with my great grandmother whom we called mammy and she made the best freak of pecan pie in the world and uh this is our pecan pie flavored coffee this one i haven't tried it sounds like it's probably pretty damn good though so go to disaster coffee there are two new offerings for this year we'll probably do another regular coffee before the year's out too, but this is something new for us. Oh, and for all of you Halloween freaks out there, one more.

One more. I'm a Halloween freak, too, so don't worry about it. But this is the black pumpkin, and the black pumpkin is the pumpkin spice number. So if you want to get into that earlier, and I see a lot of people that are like screw summer. We're done with it. We're going right in the fall. I don't know. I was at Lowe's yesterday, and they already have the animatronics and all that.

Oh, don't tell me that. Now I've got to go to those tomorrow. Oh, my goodness. You know, the 12-foot witch and the little dancing mummies and stuff like that. You know, I'm not a, I'm not a coffee, a flavored coffee guy, but that became, that became coffee. It's probably pretty good, yeah, check that out. That sounds pretty good. The pecan pie coffee.

Yeah, that was Phil's inspiration. He saw, he said, man, that might be, yeah, that could be something. I was like, you know what? Let's do it. Let's run the smore for the summer. Let's run the pecan pie. We could always, you know, chime that back in come Thanksgiving. time. We have fun over there, man. It's a good time. It's way more fun than Chase and Abigail Spanberger

around. I'm going to bring an article up real quick. Actually, you know what? Let's check X real quick, too, because there's a, I saw something about data centers of the, I got Spanberger distances herself. That draws a hard line on data center bands because she seems pretty intent on that. Tomorrow at 10 a.m. I got a guy coming on who's building the data centers. He's a contractor. Wow. Very nice. He's literally like the, you know, he's in there building them. So that should be pretty interesting.

What? What is X money? You've got X money. Yeah, that's the do X, it's a debit card. Oh, it's the X debit card. How about that? It's rolling slowly rolling out. I think you have to be a

what, uh, not the free subscriber. What do I pay for something over there. Yeah. I pay like 11 bucks a month. What do you? I don't even know what it's called.

I think that's, it's got to be one of those. They're slowly rolling that out. Oh, bummer. I thought I got some money for something. So this is an interesting little one. I'm glad I found that I can't believe I found it.

This is a wing in a prayer. Let's see. Did that come up on the stream here? Yeah, there you go. So this guy right here, and I don't have the link to it, so we've got to like at least assume it's real. Six News, WTVR, Richmond, Virginia's study on groundwater data centers calls for tighter water regulations. And what Occam's razor up here says is Spanberger and company hit a groundwater report showing that data centers are draining our aquifers. Virginia is now literally running out of water.

Listen, when you read stuff like that on X, I don't know who the hell Occam's Razor is. He's probably from Richman, though, because he's got a damn possum profile picture. Everybody in Richmond. Oh, is he? Okay. There you go.

Well, when we get that, we get Keith's blessing, that must be legit. So produced by environmental scientists, the report, which the state for more than six months had refused to release, said regulator should have more authority to reject industrial water withdrawal permits. Force entities to examine alternative sources of water

and clamp down on users might be using more water than they should be. Which, I mean, this is fundamentally the big gripe with all the data centers, particularly here while we're in a drought, right? Yeah, there's four of them being built in Chesterfield. Chestfield to go to Chesterfield. Gov, they did their own little tab on data centers. Oh, really? Yeah. Four.

Yeah, the, that Medaville out there where Lego is, the Medaville Technology Parkway out there near 895, and there's four of them going up. There's a lot of space out there. That makes sense. Yeah. And a lot of them are close systems. I mean, again, I'm not the, I'm not the data center expert, but a lot of people talk about, you know, the groundwater and depleting the aquifer and stuff like that. But it's my understanding that a lot of them are closed systems. Once they put in the five, 10 million gallons, then it pretty much, they kind of recycle it. Yeah, but there's some that aren't like that. So, yeah.

Again, whether, but, you know, there has to be some evaporation at some point. I don't think it's truly a closed system. I mean, like your car, like your radiator. You know, in summer, you need to top it off every once in a while. Yeah, that's a good point. But, yeah, I mean, I'm not bringing this guy on tomorrow. to go one way or another with him. I really just want to hear what he's got to say because he might be one of the best resources there is for this stuff.

You know what I mean? Because he's the guy with his hands in it, build it. Yeah. And I do know there's an exorbitant amount of money being divvied out to build these things. Oh, my goodness. And the tax breaks and the tax incentives, my goodness. Yeah, he's what this guy does, I found him by accident on Instagram, but what this guy does is, he coaches other contractors on how to get more clients.

And the whole reason he put the video up was he was telling guys like, you know, you've got a decision to make here. Either you're going to be Mr. anti-artificial intelligence or you're going to make all these millions of dollars and help build these data centers. So, I mean,

it's a conundrum for them. Right. I guess if that, you know, that's their thing. But it'll be great. I can't wait to talk to them. I'm sure it'll be an awesome,

uh, I'm going to flip, get this out of here because there's another one I wanted to bring up here with Spanberger's take on the data center situation. Because it seems to me like, you know, I don't know how youth feel about it, but it seems to me like somebody talked to her and was like, look, I don't care who gets upset. We're building these things. And we already have a ton in Virginia, you know. Oh, gosh, up near, gosh, up near D.C. I had to go up to Dulles to pick somebody up. last weekend and they're just almost as far as the eye can see i mean they're just they are just and

they're easy to pick out they're very easy you know they don't look like anything else but you know with with with with spanberger i mean you know she ran as a moderate of course we know she's not and her numbers are in the tank i mean so far like the first six seven months she's like the her her numbers are worse than any other governor you know with with you know this short tenure you know i think her her advisor somebody's telling her she's telling her she's going to have to push back a little bit to try to at least give the impression that she's coming more towards the center. Now, again, I don't think anything's going to help her until she does what she said she was going to do. There's no pool and wool over the people's head.

Every time people turn around, she's adding costs, taxes, costs, fees, you know what I mean? And her whole platform was, I'm going to lower cost of living, affordability. I don't, yeah, I mean, you can move her all around the chess board until she gets prices down and cost of living down in the state. Like, I think it's going to continue to get worse and worse for her. I think the midterms will be very telling. You know, if Republicans pick up some seats or something like that, then I think there's going to be even more pressure. They need a plan. They need something to combat it.

That's why I think the tax, I mean, I know it will never happen until we have 20. porches and pickaxes, but like the moratorium on taxes or something along those lines would at least resonate, you know, at least say, look, Abigail failed. This won't fail. This is money in the bank, you know, and people would say, you know what, I'll vote for them. Why not? What do I got to lose? I voted for her. She said she's going to make things cheaper. They didn't know them would go up. You know, at least I know they're going to cut taxes and make things work for me a little bit, but. Yep, they took my gun. I don't know. My power bill went up, but everybody's power bill's going up $13. Yeah. That all adds up, man. Green energy surcharge or whatever accurate.

Yeah, that was great. Throw us right into that. That's what we need. Yeah, exactly. Well, something's got to offset all the pollution from the data centers, I guess. Right. Well, she's going to have to do something. You know, she's a one-term governor. You know, she can't run again. Yeah. And so, I mean, you know, she has aspirations for higher office. one of these days, I mean, her legacy cannot be that she just ran Virginia into the ground. She took a budget surplus from Yonkin and just squandered it. Yeah, she's going to have to do something, make herself a little bit more marketable come, you know, 28, 32, whatever she wants to run. Speaking of, another question about where big lumps of money are, if we got a $7 million a year problem in Richmond for the most important thing in the world, which is free,

public transport port, you know, and if she's so green, that's a surplus problem, right? My wife tells me the other day in the car that there's a new new tax. Like the tax is going up 1% in Richmond or something like that because there's infrastructure shortfalls for schools. All I can think is why no budget surplus dump into Richmond for that? I mean, I don't understand how Richmond schools don't have enough money. I can't, everything I've heard since I've got here in 2009 has been, we're going to raise, raise, raise for schools, school, schools every other year, you know.

I don't understand where the money goes. Well, they had the budget surplus with Yonkin. I mean, I don't know how many, you know, tens of millions of dollars or whatever. But what happened? Did someone just erase it off the books? I would love to know, you know, day one, she came in office. We have this much of a surplus. I mean, what happened to it?

I mean, it's paying for a national run for office. right now going into the pockets of people who are going to give her favors later on or who she's going to give favors too later on on I don't know man that's that's the kind of stuff that will make people insane though you know that will drive people totally nuts where all the money go I don't have any of it I can tell you that much so this article from I think this is the examiner I'm pretty sure what is this Washington examiner Reno Roe it's a great name

Reno Roe. State, Virginia governor, Abigail Spanberger, defended the economic and national security importance of the state's booming data center industry this week. Those two things right there. Like, if you see those two excuses for artificial intelligence, I'm not necessarily anti-artificial intelligence, but if you see those two things, I always think it's crap. Because economically, we're not really sure. and national security is always

it's just the fallback on everything, right? It's always like, oh, we need for national security. Don't you want to be safe? So, yeah, but she seems hell bent on, oh, here you go, Glenn out. Oh, no, that's not, that's an ad. Budget finalized by law-mainland. Create a first-of-a-kind tax on electricity consumed by data centers, which should offset some of our taxes, right?

When I hear the word offset, offset just means it's going to cost you more money. There you go. There is no, it's never coming back. Don't worry. That's right. That's why they'll never do the tax moratorium. Because then they would have to raise the taxes after they, you know, cut them back.

You cut them back. It's a hell of a time getting them back up to the previous levels because people go, hey, things aren't looking all that bad and we're not paying any taxes. They're still out there digging every damn roam up in Richmond. And, you know, we're doing just fine without all this tax grab. And look at that. By the end of 25, Dominion Energy, they had a request. I talked about this a month ago, I talked about data centers on my podcast,

70,000 megawatts. That's just what on paper, the data centers like, hey, Virginia, Howard, we're going to need this much. That's a lot. And again, it's a big number now where that place, into how much you know how much we have in the grid like that I don't know but yeah on paper the you know as they slide the paper across the destiny in Indian power like oh I need 20 15 I only need five 70 thousand so we need to come up with seven or somebody does needs to come up with 70 000

megawatts and those damn wind turbines off the coast of virginia beach are not going to do it those things are ugly as hell I cannot believe cannot believe they did that I haven't seen them with my own eyes I don't go to Virginia beach very often no I stay away from the beach all I'm not a beach guy, but yeah, saw some news stories on it. They're just out there just spinning around. It's wild. Spanberger said eliminating the tax exemption outright with risk damaging an industry that has become a cornerstone of Virginia's economy.

Yeah, they're not going anywhere, folks. With her in office, we're going to have data centers down top of data centers on top of data centers. That's that. I don't remember that being a part of her plan. I don't remember her talking about that much when she was running to you. And I'm going to bring a whole fresh crop of data centers into Virginia. No, her advisors are like, don't even say that. That's a dirty word until you get into office.

Don't say we're going to increase your, you know, we're going to increase your power bills or we're going to put a bunch of buildings around that make all these crazy noises and drive people bananas at night, that humming stuff. Don't tell anybody about that until we get into office. Yeah, they did a good job. I don't know, though. She's floundering, man. The question is whether or not we'll go back. Republican for the next goat governor. You know what I mean?

Oh, if that's, he's going to be with Nova going, you know, more and more blue and nobody voting out in Southwest Virginia. It's going to be tough to get us to get us back even purplish. I don't know if we'll ever, I don't know if we'll ever be red again. I mean, we got lucky with Yonkin. I don't think we'll ever, at least not for a long time, someone's really going to have to screw things up. Yeah, because what was the motivation to change?

You know what I mean? There was no big gaff in Youngkin's governing that I remember that people would go like, oh, we need a Democrat in there. Like this Republican thing ain't working, you know? Well, it was, yeah, they didn't, yeah, they just voted. It was a vote against Trump is what it was. She didn't win. Everyone just voted against Trump.

I mean, that's how the DSA is getting into politics and getting in, you know, some of them are, you know, getting on the national stage as far as somebody's, you know, positions are being elected. elected to. And that's all everybody's, that's all the Dems are running. They're just saying, I don't like Trump. And it was like, I was like, oh, I'll vote for you 10 times if you just don't like Trump. I mean, that's, and that's all it takes. They have no platform. What are they going to do when he's gone? What are they going to do? What is the media going to talk about? What are the Democrats going to talk about? What are they going to be get up?

What are they going to get up for in the morning? Are they going to rash of suicide when Trump's gone? The meaning in life is just going to be over for these people. Well, is it going to be. Nobody left to hate. You know, is it going to be Rubio or is it going to be, you know, Vance? And, you know, J.D., he's the vice president. So he's just, you know, he's Trump light. He's been close to Trump for, you know, five, six, seven. No, no, no, no, we can't have him because he's going to be just like Trump.

And then he might be like, you know, anti-J. Vance might be the polar opposite of Donald Trump in a lot of ways. You know what I mean? Sure. His upbringing is, I mean, just. Oh, yeah. Very different than Donald Trump. Marker Rubio, very, very smart man.

I mean, I mean, he could run. I never noticed Rubio's ears. See, a big ears. You don't miss nothing. That's why he's so smart. His ears are enormous. I was watching him today. I was going, my God, the ears on this guy.

He hears everything. He's like a weapon himself in meetings, I bet. One of the press conferences, I mean, he just, he knows his stuff. I mean, he just. No, he's great. He stopped smiling and he became awesome. He used to be all like happy, remember? Now he's all straightforward.

face and he's the man. I like him. He wants to be president. Very smart man. I'd love to see him as president. He'd be great. And I think under this administration I think he's probably learning a lot, you know, and he wants to keep law and order in the country and I think

that's probably going to be, you know, that's your wheelhouse, but it's probably going to be one of the most important things that we preserve in the coming years, decades is law and order here in the states because there's going to be so many reasons. There already are so many reasons for people to be at each other's throats.

Oh, it's terrible. The division, it's, oh, it's just, it's sickening. And it's done on purpose, you know, neighbor against neighbors. It's just, and, you know, everybody's falling in, you know, falling right into their laps. Yeah, it's the communist credo, the doctrine. You know what I mean? It's older than my father, this idea. Literally the, the, we're going to run it.

We're going to, I've got the documentary. I don't know the guy's name, but I got it saved. I watched it years ago. go and it was just unbelievable. It's like a 1950s black and white documentary. There's no way I'm going to find it because it's saved in a YouTube playlist with all the other ones. There's a ton of these amazing documentaries from like 50, 60s, 70s. And they're not, this one is a little propaganda-esque. Like if you were a communist, you might watch it and go like, I don't know. But then again, he reads out of this communist manual. But one of the things that's

crazy about is he talks about the book that he's reading from talks about the importance of basically the blacks and the whites being against each other and how it is like the cornerstone of getting communism into America. Yeah. Because these two sides can fight, you know, forever. And it just they can bring the whole country down around that. And it's just crazy that, you know, how long we've been at it now. This has got to be 1960 at latest.

It's all black and white. Yeah. And we're still falling into that trap, man. Yeah. No, it's just fighting amongst ourselves and fighting with your neighbor across the street. And you're not paying attention to what's really going on. Yeah. And that's, you know, you're too worried about what people are saying about you,

what your neighbors are doing and crime. And you're not paying attention to what's really going on behind the scenes. And that's what they want. It's a perfect cover. It is a perfect cover if you want to build four data centers in Chesterfield. That's not anybody saying anything. True. That's true. Too busy arguing with my neighbor to worry about the data centers at Chesterfield.

That's right. Reading bumper stickers and getting mad. Yep. That's exactly what it is, man. It is. The question in my head always is, you know, what happens if we do wise up? Because that's kind of scary too. I mean, if everybody comes together and goes, okay, it's time for some action. Oh, DC, they'll, they'll crap their pants.

You know what I mean? That's a long shot. But I mean, I think there are a lot of people that are finally figuring it out. You know, and you see their little testimonies on Facebook and YouTube and all that. It's like, look, and how can this be? This is not right. But is it, you know, are enough people, you know, putting on their thinking caps and really digging into it to see exactly what's being done? that's the question right but there's no doubt that they were rolling into a time like never

well we're in a time like never before where people you know there's no hiding anything anymore you know what i mean yeah that's that's that's a kind of a dual edged sore but no you're exactly right you have these people coming on saying look you know we've been getting screwed for the last 50 60 years what have you this is not how you know i want to live or he wants to live you know and you have the ability of getting on social media and spreading that so that's it You know, hopefully, hopefully enough people will listen and then, you know, then D.C. screwed. Yeah, I think we need a, we probably need a wave of new politicians. You know what I mean?

Not new politicians per se, but people in public office who maybe aren't so good at being politicians and more prefer being representatives, right, like we're supposed to be. Because it seems like the, I don't know. I mean, outside of the everyday sort of corruption of politics, I also feel like politics now, even with the new up-and-comers, it feels like theater. It feels like even when we get somebody like, all right, we got them. We got them dead to rights. He's sitting in front of Congress. We're going to make him look stupid.

We're going to put a bunch of clips on TikTok of how smart we are, you know, asking them questions about abortion or whatever. But nobody ever goes to jail. Nobody ever gets in trouble. nobody ever goes to jail or at least I don't hear about it you know I want to see headlines I want to see this person lied under oath and here's the repercussions yeah I want to see a perp walk I want to see a mugshot that's it I think everybody does I think a lot of people read you know all this stuff all this corruption Fauci's going to testify tomorrow yeah you know and my ex feed that's all my ex feed was was Fauci this Fauci that his diary he lied he had dinner with Jake Tapper and all that I I think I posted

it's something or replied to somebody. I'm like, this is all a bunch of baloney. You're blowing up my feet. When he's in cuffs, and there's a perp walk and a bugshot, somebody call me. Until then, just get off my feed

because it's all just a dog and pony show. And this is another aspect. You know, this is the two-tier justice system that, man, the communists eat that stuff up. You know what I mean? They eat that stuff up.

Like, these people just walk. Imagine if you were there, doing it you know what i mean imagine if you did all the lion that fouchy did under oath into congress and to the american people you'd be in jailed i mean you know you can't even not pay your taxes you forget to pay your taxes for a week and see what happens there'll be 70 people calling you hey uh i'm gonna come take your house if you don't straighten this out just like it's all theater it's all just for show no nobody's nobody's going to be held responsible nobody's going to have to you know, suffer the repercussions of all the crap they've done.

That's what's got to change. Or the whole house of cards is going to get flipped on its head by young, freaking radical, maybe not even that radical. You know, the other scary thing is the fact that like the crisis of young men and young women because of the internet largely is keeping them apart. And, you know, in this kind of environment, the last thing that you want is a giant population of 25 year olds who are like, I don't know what I'm doing with my life. You want to topple the government? That sounds like fun. Right. Right. We can put that on TikTok for some views. Right.

You know what I mean? Right. I mean, that's where we're at. We get to, you know, but there are a lot of people doing a lot of great things. There are. I just don't get the news. You know what I mean? They don't get the press. And, you know, that kind of press, unfortunately, doesn't sell anymore. Yeah, not at all. There's no value in the good stuff. So. But, you know, the good news is Abigail's tanking. The mother of mayhem is tanking, which hopefully will, you know, draw an end to her influence. And maybe we'll wind up getting somebody in office with half a brain.

I mean, where we live, we're doomed no matter what. So it doesn't really matter. I don't think. That's true. That's true. Well, we can hope, you know. We can always. It's what degree of suck are we willing or are we going to put up with?

There you go. That's true. Right. But it is a beautiful place. It is. It's a wonderful place, man. It's hard to imagine what it could be. How much better could it be?

You know what I mean? If we had some people with a quarter of a brain. I'm trying to figure out how many times we're going to dig Forest Hill Avenue up. I can't wrap my head around. Is there a max number you can dig a rhoda? You know? Every time they fix it, it just gets worse. Yeah, it's not like it just gets worse.

It's like the Pennsylvania Turnpike. It's like, last 50 years. I mean, it's still under construction. You're just like, man, those are the same cones that were there 10 years ago. Yeah. Where are the guys? Where are the workers? It's amazing.

I love it. I think it's hilarious. You're driving down the street and you're like, oh, they're digging again. Okay. Just digging it up again. We would laugh because they started changing pipes in our neighborhood like three years. ago and they dug the whole neighborhood up and they covered the whole neighborhood and then they dug the whole neighborhood up again little did i know this is just doing business i had no clue i thought i figured

if you're going to dig through the asphalt you do it one time right fix everything and then you know you don't do it anymore but that seems to be the way things go down here i guess that's that's how you spend a surplus that that's why we don't have free buses anymore that's how you spend a surplus you get guys out there you say, you know what, dig it all up, fill it. I'm not from here. I've been here since 86, but it's my second home. I guess you could call it. I mean, Richmond is, it's a, it's a beautiful city. And I mean, the state has everything. I mean, you know, Nova excluded, you know, no offense anybody up Nova. But even as a toxic cesspool, you can go visit up 95 north. Yeah, you've got the mountains. You got the beach. You got everything in between Shenandoah National Park, some beautiful colleges and universities. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It's an amazing place, man. I mean, just Richmond alone. Just the James River, the restaurants, the museums. It's amazing, man. The bow tie cinemas. Yeah. And it's squirrel's new park is cool.

They tried to kill everybody in there the other night. That was pretty crazy. I've got season tickets. I sit right behind. Were you there? I left because it was packed. It was like, what was it, U of R night and Faith night? I mean, the place was packed.

Loaded, huh? And, you know, top, it was a bottom of the eighth. and we were up by one. I'm like, let me start slowly. I walk around, slowly get to my car, beat most of the traffic.

Yeah, yeah. And then the next morning. You heard the screams of horror. My son sent me the video and I'm like, oh my goodness. Yeah. For those of you don't know,

our AAA baseball team is double A, double A baseball team. The Giants, yeah. Set off fireworks. They do it a lot. They set fireworks off often. And they set some off. in the field, in the outfield, and I guess some of them tipped over and shot into the crowd.

Did anybody get hurt, though? I don't think anybody got hurt. No. No. Ironically enough, it's called, and I'm not making this, in your face fireworks. That's exactly what they call it. Yeah, in your face, in your, in your shorts, in your chest, in your hair fireworks. But now, they're going to launch them over inside the old diamond. Yeah, the diamond. So you've got, you've got a couple fences and some walls between, but, you know, it's on a utility trailer. And as you walk in, you see the pyrotechnic guys, you know, wiring up. Yeah. They got the big borders. You know, and they put them on this utility trailer and he's bring out a little tractor and, you know, shoot them off. One fell over and then, yeah,

and then people were just getting just getting tagged. The new stadium's pretty cool. I do miss the diamond though. Yeah. No, yeah, the new stadiums at Carmex Park. It's beautiful. It is a beautiful place. You were there during a toxic air day. We went there for Christmas in July. when the air was supposed to kill us all off if we dare go outside yeah it was a good game well it wasn't actually it was a horrendous game what am i talking about it was like nothing nothing in the fifth and we left oh but you don't have to wait for the bathrooms there's plenty of food it's not like oh yeah it's cool man oh it's they yeah they have a good setup there they got a good thing nice yeah it's nice yeah there's just something about the big old concrete that i liked i don't know

yeah i also like being up high too i like that i was always the second left level guy all the way over there on, you know, first baseline. But the seats are way better. Oh, they're comfy and they're wider. You can actually sit back. Like every seat is nice. Every seat's got a good view. You're close. You're down there on the, on the field. Yeah. We also don't want to get taxed to the point where we have to leave. That's another concern. You know
