Good evening, PBN family, and thank you for joining us.
It is the new show.
It is the mother of mayhem.
We are live.
We have Dave Jones, the NBC guy.
But I want to open this show with, it is the show on the Virginia gun grab, the new gun restriction laws.
We'll talk about them in detail.
We'll talk about what I think might stick and what ain't going to stick and so on and so forth.
But to open this show properly and to paint a picture that I want to paint tonight, we have to start with 2026 regular session House Bill 863, which has nothing to do with gun restrictions for the average person, the average Virginia citizen.
It has everything to do with the removal of minimum mandatory sentences for a variety of crimes in.
the Commonwealth of Virginia.
You see right here.
All of these crimes here
relating to elimination
of mandatory minimum sentences for certain offenses.
Stay with me.
We are to talk about gun bills.
We are to talk about action to take
as a citizen to fight the insane gun restrictions.
Bills have changed.
The bill on
max capacity magazines or whatever, you know, the standard capacity magazines that they call
high capacity magazines. The language has changed in just a few days to now being anyone
in possession of those high capacity magazines in the state of Virginia or standard capacity
will be, yeah, guilty of a level one misdemeanor. Just for the sheer ownership, there's no
grandfather the grandfathering has been left out so to put that into perspective you know that that's
kind of it's kind of where we stand but before we get to guns and and peaceful peaceful citizens
of the commonwealth of virginia owning firearms for for self-defense and protection against
marxist madness the type of which we're seeing you have to look at this you have to look at
this is my favorite right here enhanced punishment for gang activity taking place in a gang free zone
now we're told that the schools and the children are the most important things right they are the
future well what has been omitted from this is the mandatory minimum sentence of two years
imprisonment to be served consecutively with any other sentence should gangs commit gang activity
on a elementary, secondary, post-secondary school or institution of higher education.
Why?
And then we scroll down to malicious bodily injury to law enforcement officers, firefighters, search and rescue,
emergency medical service personnel penalty, right?
Upon conviction, the sentence of a purse of such persons shall include a minatory manum
imprisonment of two years.
That's been removed.
so we're limiting the protection of the officers.
And we could go over this in detail.
This bill is linked down below.
Send it to anybody you know who lives in Virginia.
Send it to everybody you know who lives in Virginia, right?
Assault and battery, brandishing a firearm.
All of these have had their mandatory minimums removed.
There are some in here you cannot believe, and I'm going to shoot down to it really quick.
This is an interesting one in the age of in the post me to age, in the age of women's rights version 2.0 and so on.
Explain to me why mandatory minimum sentences, especially the punishment here where an offender,
is more than three years older than the victim, the punishment shall include a mandatory minimum term of confinement of 25 years.
A mandatory minimum confinement of life, these mandatory minimums for rapists have been removed.
How do you feel about that?
Forcible sodomy removed the mandatory minimums.
These people, object sexual penetration penalty, remove them.
How do these even come up?
how do they even show up and where are the benefits of reducing the sentence or removing the
mandatory minimums for object sexual penetration penalty we're dealing with a democrat party
that is so sick it's like nothing i have ever seen in my life to be quite honest with you so
really quick excuse me before we get going everybody's sick
I'm not really sick.
I just have like cough, but Dave Jones is getting over something too.
I think we've been poisoned, to be quite honest with you.
We've been poisoned in our souls and in our hearts and in our minds and in our bodies.
I got a bunch of links down in the show description for you from the VCDL, okay,
the Virginia Citizens Defense League who has spearheaded action against gun bills forever,
at least as long as I've lived here.
Sorry about that.
I took myself out of the show.
I've got a bunch of links down below to the VCDL action items.
There's a big event tomorrow, subcommittee, meeting on all the gun bills we're going to talk about tonight.
And you can get involved.
You can actually call into this meeting and give them your two cents and talk about the reason you think, you know, having standard magazines for your AR-15 should probably not be a misdemeanor.
the standard issue, right?
So these are all linked down below.
If you're on X, you're going to have to either go to Rumble or go to YouTube because that's where it's all linked also.
We have the Action Center link down below.
So for anybody who's in Virginia, you have a delicate.
You click that Action Center link.
And what it's going to create for you is it's going to create an email.
You can add a little paragraph or two at the top of the email.
and you'll be able to send a pre-written email to your delegate about your concerns about all these bills.
These things have to get done, guys.
If these things don't get done, then you're just as bad as the guy who sat on the couch on election day.
You know what I mean?
Most importantly, to contact your delegate takes two seconds.
Click the action center link, fill your name in, whatever, boom, send off the email you're done.
And we overwhelm the inbox with that.
And listen, these things work.
I was here in 2020.
I was at the rally in 2020 when things were going absolutely insane.
And we were all about to be felons.
Remember we were about to be felons for owning an AR-15 on July 1st, 2020, right before COVID hit.
These things work.
Now, we brought, you know, tens of thousands of people to the capital.
And that was a whole different world.
But if we do nothing, then whatever.
be false as is just as much our fault, right?
So without further ado, we've got a list of these bills,
but most importantly, we got Dave Jones, the NBC guy with us.
How you doing, my man?
How you feeling?
I'm feeling okay, not 100%, but, man, way better than I did a couple days ago.
I had another slice of bread, so I'm really doing good.
I think I'm up to four slices of bread now.
Oh, man.
Two cups of broth since Sunday.
So what's happened to Dave is he's been taken into custody by the Spanberger regime.
And he's in prison.
He gets gluten-free bread slices and bone broth every day as his rations to survive.
I was making notes while you were talking here.
So the reason they want to reduce those are eliminating.
those mandatory, you know,
sexual predator ones is because
Democrats are that.
Yes, that's it.
It's mostly Democrats.
That's it.
So, and you said
a gang-free zone?
Yeah, so if a gang's committing,
if they're shooting each other, selling drugs,
you know, shooting opposing gangs,
on school premises,
they don't have to worry about that pesky old
mandatory minimum sentence anymore.
Yeah, but why is?
isn't all of Virginia gang free zone.
Good point.
They made almost the whole damn thing a gun free zone by now, right?
It's going to be.
They're making it that way.
And you said about, you sit on the couch,
well, that was Alex.
Oh, yeah.
We pay for that.
We all pay for that.
He's upset about this Uber Eats tax because that's all he does.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, you always get something.
You always get a reminder that you should have went.
out. But he's going to get a lot of reminders. There's a lot of reminders coming his way.
Because it's, I mean, we're going to do. So just for all of you out there who've never seen the mother of mayhem.
This is only episode two. Dave, you were on episode one, funny enough. Yeah. I have a feeling since you're a Virginia night,
Virginia here that you're going to be probably on a lot of these. But yeah, this whole show is,
it truly is political and it truly is about the takeover here in Virginia. And the fact that,
that anybody who's a Democrat who's watching this with a frowny face should know that you were lied to 100% by this gang here on the background picture.
They told you life was going to be affordable.
They told you, you know, whatever.
They lied to you.
The taxes are here.
The restrictions are here.
The laws are here that you can't even believe.
And so, you know, I don't know.
You fall for it every time.
So I don't know how to help you.
Well, it wasn't only them.
It was all the Republicans that sat at home.
and didn't do, you know, didn't go out and vote.
True.
You know, something I was thinking about today, you never got any news coverage,
good or bad about Winston Sears.
Yeah, that's a good point.
Jack about her.
Yeah.
You didn't hear the four years she was lieutenant governor.
Never, never heard about her.
Yeah.
Never heard about her.
Yeah. What an amazing story too, right?
Yeah.
And then, and then she's on the campus.
paint trial and I'm like, huh, I didn't know that was the Republican candidate that's running.
Yeah.
Clever.
They're good with, they're good with what they show you and what they don't show you.
Yeah, the news media, the most insidious power they have is the power to ignore.
And that's what Chris Plant says almost every day.
It's powerful.
Yeah.
You don't get to hear anything.
And then.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Those tools are getting dull, though.
Those weapons that once had a razor sharp edge are dulling.
You know what I mean?
They're not as effective as they used to be because people are here listening to us instead of watching mainstream media.
You know what I mean?
And watching a bunch of other people.
Well, yeah.
Which is great.
If you're not one of those people that distrust or questions or looks,
if you're just the headline reader
news consumer
and you go on and you don't even consider the source
man
man
which I think that's the majority
I realized
I realized before I came on tonight Dave
that I'm not even political
I'm really not that into politics
right only doing this show
because I have to be political and have
to be into politics because I've been doing a lot of PBN shows that are void of politics
and they're completely fun and fine.
Yeah.
And I realize that this type of stuff is the only thing that really forces me into that,
you know, political mindset.
Yeah.
But I guess you just got to do what you got to do.
You know what I mean?
Prepping itself is eight critical.
Yeah, largely.
For sure.
What's wrong with having a couple extra cans of food and, you know, first day.
kids, some bottled water, you know, that's not Republican or Democrat there.
Yeah, the good thing is now we could even agree on guns. Everybody's carrying guns anymore now.
Well, I'll tell you, Richmond, Richmond is going to be a war zone.
I think you're right. It's going to be crazy, crazy.
Well, we know we're going to have, we know we're going to have gang activity.
That's been greenlit.
Yeah.
I'm going to throw up, how could I do this here?
I'm going to throw this up into the show.
I wish I could get it just as is,
but it's going to have to live within my Gmail
because it is what it is.
But just so everybody,
how does I get to see the chat of Garden Grow?
I've never seen a chat before.
Oh, you can't see the chat.
Not on the show.
Yeah.
Oh, I don't know.
I've never been a guest.
I forget if you can't see it or not.
I'll put them up.
I'll put them up for you.
Well, I can see it.
I clicked on chat,
but I don't know how it gets in there.
Oh,
oh,
if you want to put it in there,
just click it.
Like click show.
Oh,
I see.
Yeah,
click it itself and then it'll pop in.
Okay.
So what I got here,
folks,
They're all house bills for the firearms.
And as you can see, it's quite a list.
And it keeps on going.
And I just want to do to talk about these on tonight's show so that everybody knows kind of what's going on.
House Bill 19.
And remember these names, too, you know, these names, these delegate names are important.
These are the people who bring these things to the floor and think they're a good idea.
Yeah.
Delegate McClure makes battery in a dating relationship, a misdemeanor.
takes away the right to purchase, possess, or transport a firearm for three years,
should you be in that kind of a situation.
Okay, so if you slap your boyfriend or girlfriend,
you lose the right to protect yourself for three years.
That's it.
Your Second Amendment is on pause for three years.
And McClure thinks, I guess, that that's the only way you can get angry and kill your spouse.
or your girlfriend or boyfriend or whatever.
The anger expires in three years.
Yeah, you feel better in three years.
They get a gut again.
Yeah, I mean, all these are going to be a front of the Second Amendment.
Some of them are going to sound like they make a little more sense than others.
But these are what we're dealing with.
If the guy or the girl wants to kill the other one, they don't have to do it with a gun.
It's like gangs of New York, bricks, bats.
axes yeah that's the deal i was in romania a few years back and you know how people go a little
crazy at christmas time right yeah this this man bludgeoned his entire family with a baseball bat
to death very christmas yeah good grief yeah wow yeah it's a little little hard to commit suicide that way
you know,
like cartoon almost.
Yeah.
All right.
So House Bill 21, Dave Jones,
brought to the floor by Delegate Helmer,
allows one of the most highly regulated industries.
This is the wording of the VCDL.
If you're not a member of the Virginia Citizens Defense League,
even if you don't want to be for like a long time,
at least be a member now.
You don't have to pay or anything like that.
But sign up for the emails,
all that kind of stuff.
Because they tell you when to go to take action and where.
how and that seems what this whole show is really just kind of build out of their email so they're
a great organization um so basically this one allows uh it allows you to sue right i think that's what
it all it one of the most highly regulated industries the firearms is to be sued civilly for a
variety of already illegal actions it also holds the manufacturers and sellers of even the most
benign of firearm accessories like a buttstock or a gun case liable to a
civil lawsuit if it doesn't quote or crow properly protect that item from theft or misused by a
criminal so they're talking about giving and you know this is a huge can of worms if if anybody can
drag rougar in to civil court right right and say hey my cousin got shot by your gun yeah well that's
right it had it had a folding stock on it on top of that
You monster.
Yeah.
That made it worse.
That made the bullets more penetrating.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Ruger has that paragraph that stamped on the barrel of their pistols.
Does it?
I have a room.
Yep.
Yep.
That was the result of a lawsuit back in.
Oh, my.
Maybe the 80s?
You know, read the instruction.
manual.
I don't know what all it says.
I should get my Ruger out and read it.
You got me wanting to go look at the old P95 after this show.
Yeah.
So House Bill 40 brought to the floor by delegate Simon.
I don't get how all, I guess all these people are sitting on bills.
And they're like, the Democrats come in, man.
We're just going to, we're going to drop.
Yeah.
Yeah.
As soon as they won the election, it may be even before.
They were working on the wording and getting it ready.
Do you understand?
Stealing it from California, right?
That's what it seems like.
Well, yeah, the magazine ban, you know, California's magazine ban is going to be heard by the Supreme Court.
This one's wild because it's, HB40 makes unfinished firearm frames and receivers
and un-serialized commercially made firearms unlawful to possess, purchase, seller transfer unless they're serialized.
So, you know, they'd have to further define unfinished firearm frame.
But, you know, those are your lower 80 lowers, 80% lowers.
I don't know if, you know, I'm sure people listening have screwed around with the 80% lower and things like that.
Yeah.
You know, these things could be made out of aluminum.
They can be made out of even composite.
it and I mean I've bored them out myself.
It's so cool.
Well, yeah.
It's such a cool thing to be able to do.
So possession of them,
unlawful to possess, purchase,
seller transfer unless they are serialized.
These are the kind of things that drive me crazy
is when you get immediately in legal trouble
for the things you already own.
You know what I mean?
Well, is there an instance outside of firearms
where something like that happens that you could think of
or just overnight it's like
oh shit those Nike's are now illegal
sorry
no not that I can think of
probably tomorrow
I might think of something or
over the night but when you
were talking about parts
you know you can take two pieces
of pipe have you ever seen that
slam shotgun oh yeah
where you put a 12 gauge shell
in there and you slam
the other
is it that an unfinished firearm?
Pretty much.
Yeah, it's a very good point.
See.
Yeah, that's, yeah.
You're getting to the point where they can come into anybody's house
and find the thing that you get arrested for.
Well, that's a part of it.
And as we get down into these, you're going to see some that are so blatantly,
I mean, they're damn near Canadian.
make me like I get a bad taste of maple syrup in the back of my throat just reading some of these laws.
HB.1.10 Delegate law for been sitting on this bill, I guess.
Yeah.
Creates a fight.
You know what I wish I could have done?
And we may do this.
We may do a round two of this.
We may have to do a mother of mayhem unmasked or something like that.
And all these delegates can get their faces put up on the show.
I agree.
We'll go through House bills and we'll go through Senate bills and all that kind of stuff.
I agree.
Beyond guns.
Because, yeah, it's not fair that you get to hide behind delegate law for creates a $500 civil penalty and subjects a vehicle towing if a person leaves a visible handgun in an unattended vehicle.
I'm not terribly like against this one, to be honest with you.
I mean, it's not that hard to just not leave your gun on the passenger side.
The only thing about it that's weird, though, is.
Like being in your neck of the woods and being in a hunting truck, right?
Right.
And having a gun rack in the truck.
Yeah.
So.
Or your four wheeler and you're out.
I mean.
Oh, that's a good point.
What if it's, you know, you just made a mistake.
You know?
That's a $500 mistake, my man.
If they get their way and they may tow your car on top of it.
Dang.
And here's the big one.
Here's the one that everybody knew was coming.
HB217, delegate Helma, Delegate Helma,
Prohibits the sale,
the Helmers, they love taking guns.
Prohibits the sale, possession, transfer,
and transport of an assault firearm, quote on quote,
made on or after July 1, 2026.
It also prohibits the sale, possession,
transfer, and transport of an assault firearm
to anyone under the age of 21,
magazines that hold more than 10 rounds
and were made on or after July 1,
2026 are prohibited.
Yeah.
Wow.
Wow.
That's the big one, right?
Then they have their big list of things about what a quote-unquote assault firearm is,
and that's where we get into like Disneyland.
Yeah.
Because they just do whatever.
They want to throw shit.
Anything.
Just throw something in there.
Brugger 22.
Yeah, with a site on it.
Yeah.
So there's a salt firearm now.
Yeah, it's a salt firearm.
So, you know, this one, this one scares me the least, to be honest with you, out of a lot of them.
Because I just think there's too much unconstitutionality in it, particularly when it comes to the magazine side of things.
Yeah, but even they pass the thing.
Then someone's got to take them to court.
And it's got to go all the way to the Supreme Court.
It could take two, three, four years.
Everybody's living in turmoil.
That is true.
Either they're criminals or they're, oh, take my gun.
Take it.
Take it.
I don't want to get in trouble.
And the only one that will have them are criminals.
Definitely, definitely.
The ones who also got a great deal from the mother of mayhem.
on their mandatory minimum sentences for beating you, robbing you, raping you, shooting you, shoving something up your ass, whatever they want to do.
This is why I prefaced all this with that house bill so that everyone could have wrapped their head around like, oh, it's a field day of crime in Virginia.
Let's go for it.
Let's take everybody's guns away too.
Well, sodomy is actually anything that's not national sex.
Yeah.
Yeah. They even have a, but there's even a provision about foreign objects.
I don't understand how you look at the state of Virginia and you go, man, we got some problems.
We got some things we need to work out. This is a beautiful state. History of the nation here.
Big responsibility. Bring me all the laws you got on sodomy and rape and let me see what we can do about these mandatory minimum sentences.
How can we fix this?
Oh, let's eliminate the minimum mandatories for these people.
Yeah.
First order of business out of the gate.
That'll make things more affordable.
Hey, like they say, right?
Not all Democrats are criminals.
Yes.
But all criminals are Democrats.
You know what?
I don't know if I think it's, I think it needs to be all Democrats are criminals and all
criminals or Democrats. We probably just need to remove the knot. I mean, if you look at what's going on,
I got to, I get to, if we have time, I'll bring up the guy, the video, or the guy who's going to kill
Donald Trump. Did you see that? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. He's got a Philly, right?
Isn't already knocking on his door. I can't believe that. That's, I can't believe it.
Yeah, they're the party of death.
They are the deathocrats.
The deathocrats is what they are, man.
And, you know, step one in really killing people is let's make sure they have no guns to protect themselves.
Then that we can bend them any way we want.
Yeah.
So HB229 Delegate Hernandez prohibits firearms or knives with a blade longer than 3.5 inches, which is tiny.
In facilities that provide, I probably have a bigger one on me right now, in facilities that provide mental health services,
or developmental services, including hospitals, emergency departments, emergency medical care facilities,
if they offer such services.
So that's where the guys are going to go for the mass shootings, mass killings, mass stabbings.
Oh, yeah, the best places to go, right?
You know, nobody's armed.
You don't even have a three and a half inch knife blade on you.
Not to mention somebody, not somebody, but the taxpayer probably or the owners of these places,
if they're independent,
has to enforce it, right?
Or if you're not going to enforce it,
then HB229 by Delegate Hernandez is a joke to begin with.
If we're going to work on the honor system.
Isn't there some requirement that they put a sign up?
Something.
Something?
Yeah.
And just that sign will do it.
You know,
that will keep everybody out that has a weapon.
In a similar vein,
HB 626 by Delegate Kalson
restricts firearms at public institutions or higher education by requiring such firearms
be part of an authorized program or activity inside the building.
So, you know, another candidate for mass shootings,
as if higher education isn't already in the crosshairs, right?
Yeah.
It's just a big list of places to go.
You know what it really is is a list of targets for radical Islamists in Virginia.
Yes. And since our, go ahead.
And crazy people.
Yeah.
You know, how can I get a bigger body count than they did it?
You know, to get my name down in history.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And here's the big one, guys.
Here's all this pressure from all these house bills kind of culminates into HB702,
which creates a, and ask your friends in Australia how this went.
A Virginia firearm.
give back program and fund.
Now, where's the money come from that goes into that fund, you think, Dave Jones?
Yeah, well, it comes from us.
That's right.
We're going to raise your taxes.
Then they give you a little of your own money back for your own gun.
Take our guns.
We're going to pay them to take our gun.
Give you a little of your own money back for your own gun.
Then you turn around and walk out and they point and laugh at you.
take your address down, give it to their gang friend, and say, well, his house is good to go.
Go head on over there tonight.
The sole purpose is for either the state police or optionally local law enforcement to collect and destroy any firearms that are voluntarily turned in.
Yeah, I don't buy that.
Yeah.
Like, I can't wait to wait to see what they're going to throw them all in a furnace or something.
Yeah, everybody who's ever gone down.
down this path has regretted it.
We've got a listener here at PBN,
a great friend of Sarah Hathaway's
who is suffering the woes of Australia.
And you see what's happening in Australia.
And now they're even,
the few people who even own guns in Australia are now getting even more
gun control on top of the fact that they
supposed to, you know, they already handed all their guns
in to begin with. Yeah.
And it never stopped. You can't appease these people.
Because two Muslims went hunting Jews one day.
Right. Yeah.
That's exactly right.
You know, it make more sense to restrict Muslims from getting guns.
No, everybody.
It's everybody's problem.
Yeah.
It's everybody's problem.
Now, here's the Canadian bill.
Whoever Downey is, Downey must be too far north.
He's too far up there.
It's getting that Canadian air and it's messing with his freedom.
HB 871 Delegate Downey requires, I'm out already.
requires all firearms in a home that are not being carried on or about a person to be unloaded,
placed in a locked container.
First of all, what the hell?
If there is a minor in the home or if there is a prohibited person in the home, whatever the hell that is,
a gun may only be stored loaded if it is in a biometric safe.
Gun dealers must post signage about the law, and there's also provision to educate the public on firearms storage.
So it can't be just a regular combination, Steve.
It has to be a biometric safe.
Yep, yeah.
So someone kicks your door in.
You've got to find the person who can open the safe with their fingerprint.
Get the hand on the safe.
Take the gun out.
Hang on a minute.
I got to put bullets in the mag.
Load the bag in.
And then you're ready to go to work.
Or they break into your house and then they take your hand over and open up your
safe.
Yeah.
They get all your gun.
after they shoot you in the face because you have no gun.
Yeah, they drag your body over for the fingerprint.
Yeah.
Don't you feel safer?
I feel safer.
Whereas if I had a combination when they shot me.
Can't take nothing.
Yeah, can't take nothing.
It dies with me.
In this case, they can just take whatever they want.
Yeah.
Oh, here's another winner, Dave Jones.
You're going to love this one.
I hate when I see these builds.
like there's something about a bill like if it's a 626 or a 969 they always make me nervous
delegate price would like to create this is house bill 969 delegate price creates a state agency
named the virginia gun violence prevention center hmm that's all the center would only be
targeting violence committed using firearms and ignoring the root causes of crime the vcdl goes on to
sort of mock it a little bit.
But that's,
that's his plan.
That's the full extent of,
you know,
what's listed here.
Yeah.
So,
you know,
another government organization.
Get your buddies hired.
Get the people that
get hired.
That's it.
And then sit around to talk about how you can do more gun control.
Bring recommendations in.
Yeah.
Because preventing gun violence is giving
people more guns. Yeah, that helps. It definitely helps to know the public is armed.
Yeah. Not so quick to pull a gun on somebody if you think, oh, gee, they might have a really nice
Glock too. I jack a car, rob you, or burglarize you. The crime goes down when this citizenry is
armed. That's it. There has to be a threat because now we know that the people in power
or pose no threat to the criminals.
We talked about that at the head of the show.
Yeah.
Now, there is a blue bill, HB1303, and this is a gun bill that is, you know, it's one that we actually want.
It's from delegate where it sets 90 days as the maximum number of days that the Virginia
state police can take when processing a non-resident concealed handgun permit.
If the permit is not yet been approved after 90 days and the permit is issued at that point, if the applicant is later found to be disqualified, the permit is revoked and the applicant has to return it.
But this keeps them from sort of, you know, oh, we're too busy.
There's too much, there's too many people applying for permits.
So you're going to have to wait five years, right?
Yeah, that, okay, there's some problems with that in that the counties run the concealed carry.
Okay.
Oh, that's good point.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So the state police, all they do is the background check.
Yeah.
So now what this does is it allows the state police to take up to 90 days.
That's a good point.
Yeah.
To get the background check back to the county.
Oh, so that may not be as good as it sounds unless there's already.
Yeah, because I never had any wait time on a background check.
That's a good point.
Yeah, they're an instant.
Now, they did play some stuff, and I think it was Fairfax.
They did do some of that in Fairfax.
They were, oh, we're backlog, blah, blah, blah.
And then I can't remember how they fixed it.
Someone investigated and they found it was just they were dragging their feet.
But what this does is you get the Democrat administration in.
they appoint someone commissioner of the state police and and they say look you got 90 days take 90 days
yeah so delegate hope HB 1359 she's delegate hope is is permit this is the big permit requires a person
to have a permit to purchase a firearm quote unquote permit which is good for five
years to qualify for a permit, the applicant must have had his fingerprints taken and have had
firearms training within the last two years. The training must be approved by the Department
of Criminal Justice Services. Okay, this is all right.
Fire. Yeah. Oh, this is a lot. There's a lot here. But go ahead. We'll finish because it keeps
going. This has already been struck down by the Supreme Court. And I can't remember what state
did it. It was either New York or Illinois. I think it was New York.
Yeah, that you had to get approval to buy a gun.
Yeah.
And they struck that down.
They obviously don't know anything about concealed carry about, you know, what's lawful, what's constitutional.
Don't care.
Yeah.
Well, they don't care.
Don't care and don't know.
Didn't do a lick of research.
called their buddy in California and said,
hey, how'd you do it?
Oh, that sounds fun.
Let's do that.
That'd be my...
Without debate.
Yeah.
They'll read it, okay?
And then it goes to the sentence.
Yeah.
Exactly.
And, you know, thank God because that's a reason
why a lot of these will fail,
just like this one will fail.
It says persons under 21 years old
cannot apply for a permit
and are thus prohibited from buying firearms.
I don't understand this law.
I wish I could understand at least any example of why a responsible 18-year-old kid can't go buy a gun.
Right.
I don't even understand it.
There's nothing, you don't even get intoxicated.
Well, you might get a little intoxicated when you hold that thing, but it's nothing.
You know what I mean?
It's so crazy.
Yeah.
I was in the army when I think it was Clinton.
They did the assault weapons ban.
And then if you were convicted of spousal abuse, you couldn't own a gun or something like that.
And they were, the army was, you know, for weapons qualification.
And there is a lot of spousal abuse abuse in the military.
But they were going to have these cards that say whether or not you were convicted of a,
this all went by the wayside though, but it's just an example of these people don't think
of what the possible outcomes are because they have no clue on what they're trying to force down everybody's
throat. It's insane. Yeah. So, but, but this thing goes on and on. Oh, boy. It keeps going. A person renting a
gun, persons with dual residency and out of state residents purchasing long guns must have a permit.
In a private sale, the purchaser must have a verified permit. I don't know what that is. They
don't explain it. The state police can charge whatever fee they feel covers their cost in processing the
permit application.
Wow.
And can take as long as 45 days to issue the permit.
Local law enforcement be notified that you've been issued or denied a permit.
This bill adds new misdemeanor prohibitors from getting a permit.
Wow.
So that's a one liner that's a pretty big deal right there, right?
Yeah.
Get a misdemeanor.
Forget about getting a permit.
It's not a, it don't take a felony anymore in other words, right?
The felony is the thing.
Oh, no problem.
We appreciate you.
So the felony is no longer the thing.
Right now it's a now it's a misdemeanor because the misdemeanor means you can't get the permanent.
If you can't get the permit, then you can't get the gun or you can't sell the gun.
You can't do nothing.
Yeah.
And that's the situation.
Well, according to Don Lemon, he was he was arguing with some woman that a misdemeanor is not breaking the law.
That sounds like a Democrat to me.
That sounds like Democrat thing to me, unless, of course, I'm the guy with the misdemeanor.
Or the misdemeanor has something to do with like a standard capacity magazine.
Yeah.
Oh, and you get charged for each magazine.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
It's not like, well, you got these 21 misdemeanor.
No, you get 20 misdemeanors.
Yeah, where is that one?
We'll look at that one in detail.
the actual assault weapons ban.
HB217.
Okay.
I'll look that baby up.
In the meantime, folks, this is where everybody's pissed and everybody's angry and everybody
wants to do something.
Go down in the show description down there and you're going to see a link to the action
center for the VCDL and click that link.
That's going to take you to where you can fill out your email, right?
The email's mostly pre-written, but there is a box where you can type whatever you
want and say you guys can go straight to hell whatever you want to say and then you send that
email to your delegate they'll find out who your delegate is for you you don't have to do anything
it's super easy right simple that's in there and then they're having it a big meeting um a big meeting
tomorrow and i'm pretty sure this link this QR code up here let me double check this QR code
yeah didn't you say you can join via zoom or something like that yeah yeah yeah
This QR code up here, oh, it's over here, with the duck in it, the streamyard duck, the mallard, that will get you to where you can register to be a speaker at the meeting tomorrow.
But there's also a link down below for that so you can register also.
And if you want to get irate, if you want to bring some ammunition to the meeting, I also link to that house bill with all the crazy misdemeanor minimum.
Don't say ammunition.
Mandatory minimums.
You guys know what I mean.
Hey, it's a digital meeting anyway.
Oh, okay.
He killed me with digital bullets.
Yeah, exactly.
So I'm bringing up that HB217.
Just so we can look at it.
Rice.
Oh, nice.
What's in the rice?
Oh, she's got parsley in here, some mushrooms.
Oh, yeah.
She did it.
upright.
Oh,
imagine that.
Yeah.
The lady who was baking fresh bread in an ice storm.
Yep.
Yeah, that stuff looked good, man.
Thanks.
That was the first time we ever baked in it.
Yeah, that's cool.
We had warm stuff up in it, you know, pieces of pizza and stuff and hot dogs.
But we actually baked two loaves of bread in it.
Yeah, it's beautiful, man.
I was telling my father and I were talking about the ice storm incoming and
you know about technology and how it's crazy that everything hinges on power
and the power is the most fragile thing in the society you know what I mean
like we're building God in AI not God but you know whatever that
the psychopaths version of God the chaos and and everything that we're doing with
technology but it's all powered by poles and wire that fall over snap break you know explode
yeah crazy so i told him i said you know if if we're gonna if we're gonna survive with this
like early 1900s technology then i think we need to install early 1900s or pre-900s even
technology to stay warm in the house that's what you guys have you know what i mean yeah that's what
anybody who would a wood stove have. Now they want to take the wood stove away from it. Oh, I forgot about the wood stove. Is that up? Is that in Virginia, too? Is that a new bill? Yep. Yep. Five acres. You have to have five acres to be able to have a wood stove. Are you kidding me? I said this. What's the five acres thing? Who's on the five acres? I don't know. Five acres with the shooting. Shooting, yep. Where do they come up with these magical numbers and stuff? Well, it's like 11 bullets.
What? What's the 11th bullet? Is it magic?
It's the magic bullet. Is it more deadly? It's the deadly 11th bullet. I don't know what it is. I'm not raising my hand to for a question. I just had to shut the camera off from following me. I didn't hear anything about the snows.
If you hold your hand up, it doesn't follow you? No, no, no, no. When you hold your hand up.
Sign language. It does a little bit. When you hold your hand up like that, it'll change colors and then it'll follow you.
wherever you go. Oh. And I don't want to be followed at the moment. But yeah, I had no,
I, that this is, there's so many guys. Like, this is why the mother of mayhem show is, is a thing.
Yeah. Because I can, if I could put it all in one surviving America episode, I'd have done it,
I'd have been done. I'd have said, screw her, screw him, screw her buddy. But this is going to go on
and on and on, you know, all the way down to me and my wife are laughing today in the kitchen because
we're talking about all the, it was the same thing.
All the problems in Virginia and somehow you arrive at leaf blowers.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Like, let's get these.
Give me all you got on leaf blowers.
Get it in here.
It's gas powered leaf blowers.
They are devil's work.
Yeah.
Can you imagine?
I mean, I don't even understand how it comes up.
Yeah, this disqualifications for handgun permit.
prohibit the selling of firearms,
purchase possession, transportation.
I'm looking to see if I could find the
updated version of the magazine thing
because it's changed to be
you're screwed no matter what, basically.
Yeah.
Well, I think they want to have so many laws
that they can just pick something.
Yeah, I mean, it was that way with Northam, too.
He did the same thing.
Yeah.
He had so many gun bills come out and it was just crazy.
And they were crazy, man.
Remember, it was, I do, you and I had this conversation on air.
I remember it was the training one.
We were talking about training with one or more people.
Right, right.
Remember that?
You walk, walking down the road with your firearms and your buddy, you're training.
You're a militia.
You're training.
Yeah.
Yeah, that was it.
That was a bill that Northern Prope.
pose and it was all about militias and paramilitary training.
And all I'm thinking about is me and the Patriot Power Hour guys and Dave Jones
up on the mountain hanging out.
The SWAT team pulls up.
Yeah, exactly.
Hey, guys.
How you doing?
Want a beer?
Yeah, right.
Exactly.
Yeah.
No, I, well, don't think the team.
I don't want to be.
I don't want to be a harvager of doom, but I think these episodes are going to,
someone's going to hear about it in Virginia.
Definitely.
And they're going to say, James, just saying.
I'll show up like on a, you know, with the mask over the head and they pull it off and in the bright lights.
And I don't know if I'm on air
or if I'm arrested by the
the Jay Jones crew
will have to see.
He likes to shoot people
or apparently or likes to talk about shooting.
Yeah.
Maybe that's it.
Maybe all the mandatory minimum sentence removal
was just all the things he wants to do to people.
And he said,
let's get these mandatories out of the way
because I'm dying to be a monster.
Yeah.
That guy, I'm telling you.
Yeah, they just say it's, you know,
it's a full scale assault.
There's a bunch of smiling people.
Hey, yeah.
First female.
You know, first this.
You know, first this and first that.
Beware of them firsts, man.
The firsts are dangerous, it seems like.
Yeah, you can't have.
A lot of firsts.
Too many firsts.
There you go, Dave.
Oh, my God.
It crosses the,
it crosses the freaking threshold in the politics from prepping to politics.
Yeah.
This is a too many first.
You're right.
Yeah.
I haven't seen, you know, for all the celebration on firsts,
I haven't seen a whole lot of firsts.
that's been very exciting in the political spectrum.
You know what I mean?
I'd look back in Barack Obama and go,
oh, that wasn't a good first.
I'm ready for second.
We need second to come and do a much better job than first
because that was rough.
Yeah, well, that was the beginning of the great division.
It was.
It was.
It truly was.
I mean, the Cambridge professor and what was the,
the other thing.
Was he the guy that the cops arrested trying to get into his house?
Yeah.
Well, they didn't really arresting.
Yeah, he didn't get arrested.
No, but then there was another one, a drunk driving case.
And who was the kid that was shot in Florida?
And then there could have been my son.
Trayvon, yeah.
I forgot about Trayvon.
Yeah.
Yeah, that was another.
ugly one because it kept all stuff kept coming out about it and yeah Zimmerman yeah Zimmerman and
Trayvon I remember because we were talking community watch here at that time remember because I just
put the book out and I remember we were talking a lot of community watch and I was like who they said
Zimmerman was doing community watch yeah their neighborhood watch whatever yeah yeah it was bad man
Eric Holder was tremendous.
I mean, he just...
Oh, yeah.
That was a winner.
He had a whole lifetime of resentment and hatred for white people that just came right out as soon as he got power.
He just was...
Bang.
He sent all his FBI agents to investigate hands up, don't shoot, which was a total lie.
And that police officer that had his occipital lobe, crushed.
That's your eye socket.
Oh, that's right.
Yeah, I remember.
And he was fighting for his life.
Oh, yeah.
When he shot the guy that was reaching for his gun.
Right.
Yeah, you take another shot to a fractured orbital.
It could just penetrate your brain.
It's over.
Yeah.
With all them little fragments in your head.
Now, that officer is still hiding today.
Yeah.
Can you imagine?
I mean, just look, that's,
the future of these poor guys in ice.
Yep. You know what I mean? These guys in ice are going to have a hell of a time post-top.
I mean, it's not going to be pretty for them for a while. They're kid. You imagine the kids.
You imagine your dad's works for ice and you go to like middle school and the kids find out in a liberal, you know, public school.
Oh, my God.
Oh, that's dark. That's a dark consideration.
Yeah. That's the nature. That's the nature. That's the nature.
of this side of affairs, man, and they come in and they come hard. And that's, that's kind of my point.
And that's, that's what those of you watching this that aren't in Virginia need to take from the
mother of mayhem series is when they come, if they get control of your state, they have a playbook.
And it's all this shit that makes no sense, takes away freedoms, raises taxes everywhere,
on everybody. The moment they say we're raising taxes on the rich, you know, your
taxes are going up. Doesn't matter how much money. You make 25 grand a year. Like New York,
California, Illinois, the rich just pack up and leave. And who's left paying the tax bill?
That's it. Yeah. I think we're going to see it here. I think we're going to see it here.
Some people are heading to DeSantis. We talked about it. I know. I remember you sending a message
over as soon as things started getting in. Florida may be a new base of operation.
for PVN, we'll never know.
Yeah.
I mean, it's, it's so hard because I hate to seed ground to losers like these people.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
I would hate to give up Richmond because I love it so much to these people who,
and in large part, they might not even wind up living here.
A guy like Jay Jones isn't going to die in Virginia.
No.
Not committed to the state of Virginia.
You know what I mean?
He's an opportunistic.
Barack Obama ever go back to Illinois?
Right.
Yeah, exactly.
No.
Spanberger will be running for president.
She won't care about Virginia.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
It's so to take, ah, just.
But, you know, never say never.
Never say, I do hate winner.
There's no doubt about that.
I never caught a peacock bass in my life,
and I'd love to hook one of those down there in Florida.
I can tell you that much.
So you never know.
There is a point, I think,
for everybody where they say that's it.
Let's sell it all and hit the high road.
Well, when you're sick and tired of working just to pay your tax bill.
Yeah.
It goes up constantly.
Yeah.
And when Trump goes and cuts taxes, the other states go, nope, nope, no, tax on tips.
Yeah, we're taxing tips.
Yeah, yeah, yep, yep, we're taxing overtime.
It's like you just can't get a break.
Yeah. And then they go with their hands out to the federal government.
Yeah.
They tax the hell out of you.
So you're thinking, okay, well, things should be good.
They got plenty of money.
And then you find out they're over there to Trump.
Can we get some federal funding for the for the children?
We need federal funding.
The Somali Learning Center.
We need the area.
Yeah.
You're right.
Yeah, you know the Minnesota's get taxed until their eyes water.
I'm sure because, you know, it's Democrat run.
this is our fate at the moment, Dave Jones.
It is what it is.
You know?
Yeah.
It is what it is.
I'm going to finish up this year of teaching and start working on that book.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, did you, can you put the cover up?
I did that cover with AI.
And I, you, I put it in, I put it in, I put it in.
I put it in Signal.
Oh, I don't know.
In Azure Highland chat.
Let me see.
Well, by now it's probably pretty far up there because it's been tracking silver and gold.
How did I miss the cover?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
What we thought?
We talking today or yesterday or?
No, this was a while ago, a while ago.
I don't know how to put stuff up.
I have it on my lap or my computer here.
I think I did see it.
Yeah, it's a guy in civilian clothes with a fanny pack on.
He has a beer in one hand and a cell phone in the other.
Yeah, I remember it.
I'll put it up as the, what I'll do is I'll put it up as the show art for the next show that I do.
Recalled.
Recalled.
One man's view.
I didn't know you made that, Dave Jones.
Yeah.
That's sweet.
Hey, I is totally out of control.
Look how good that looks.
Yeah.
That's better than every book cover that came out pre-2005.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
I mean, that's pretty much what it was like right there.
Recall is a good one.
That's a good one.
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, yeah, you've got an amazing story.
We got to make that happen.
for sure. Oh, dude, we're on this boat, river boat on the Nile. And we're having a,
like a dinner theater thing, you know, they're doing stuff while we're eating. Yeah. And I had this
Nokia phone that could call anywhere. And, you know, in 2001, that was a rare thing. Yeah. Oh,
yeah. Yeah. That was pretty rare. So I passed a phone across the table to my, one of my guys, and I
said call someone right now and tell them you're having dinner on the nile guess where are you
that's what i mean man yeah it's it's it's crazy yeah it'd be a fun hell of a read i could tell you
that much but oh it's it and it took me a while to figure out because the chronological order of
it's just it's just too much so what i'm going to
going to do is like make little sections oh yeah yeah you can you can just open it up and say uh you know
one chapter will be a funny thing happened at the briefing today and it'll be all the times i went
into the briefing got yelled at by the colonel you know all those funny stories
the uh no not no reservations um not bowed in the throat the book between
those two by Anthony Bourdain, Kitchen Confidential.
That's the layout of Kitchen Confidential, very similar.
All the crazy things that happen to Bourdain in different, you know, sections of his career
as a up-and-coming chef, you know, executive chef, heroin addict chef, all that kind of stuff.
And it's like that, you know, what do you know about meat?
It's a great, it's a great chapter going to what you know about meat.
But we're getting off topic, man.
This is Mother of Mayhem.
I guess we, I'll tell you what, Dave Jones, you were flying high for a little while there.
I think you were a totally different color of tan when you were really getting fired up.
You look good.
You look like health was coming back into you.
Well, I can also adjust the light.
Let me see if I got the...
Oh, no, don't even worry about it.
We're wrapping it up anyway.
We want to get you back to full strength, man.
You got your congi there.
You're ready to go.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, I appreciate you coming on.
And folks, all the information in the show description down below, you can click that little square over there to be a part of the meeting tomorrow.
I'll be there 4 o'clock p.m.
And I'm definitely going to give my two cents if I get my, get picked with my hand raised.
So.
Yeah, I'm going to try and get on there too.
They canceled school for the rest of the week here.
Oh, right.
Yeah, the ice fest.
Yeah.
Here in Alaska.
Yeah.
We don't have school until next Monday, maybe, because it might rain or might snow rather
Saturday, right?
Yeah.
It might snow Saturday.
So kids could be off even further.
I keep trying to explain to them.
They're elated in my house.
And I keep trying to explain to them.
It's good to have some snow days.
You don't want too many.
We're going to wind up going to school through summer.
That's right.
That's the worst because as soon as our kids get off freaking school, we're out of here.
to the outer bank.
So that can make things interesting.
We have programmed in for this year for snow days.
So we've already blew it by one.
They won't they won't adjust the summer.
They'll just take it off a spring break.
Oh, and that's a good move.
Spring break gets shorter if you get more than that.
That's a good move.
I don't know.
I'm in the city of Richmond, Virginia.
You have no idea what they might do.
You know what I mean?
that they are that yeah they love the kids they tax for the kids we want the kids to be smart
no child left behind they come out of 12th grade they're reading at about a third or fourth
grade reading level yeah and they call it a success and you know move on so that was pre spanberger
oh man god only knows now yeah well
folks stay tuned more mother of mayhem to come there'll be plenty more to come we're just
and be scratching the surface and plenty more guests i'm not the only one here definitely yeah
definitely but dave jones he yeah we had we got to have him talking about the firearms because
he's the man all right folks we will talk to you soon thanks so much for joining us tonight and uh
see you tomorrow man we're off to a great start
