Merry Christmas, PBS, PBM family.
It's time.
It's time to talk a little bit about yours gift.
Now, you might remember,
I was supposed to release a book called Let Your Heart Be Light on the 9th of the month.
And then I started thinking to myself,
what can I do?
What can I give to the PBN family?
Christmas gift.
You know what I mean?
Something special.
How do you give an e-book away the right way?
How do you make it so that it's easy to get your hands?
hands on and so on and so forth and that's when it occurred to me that let your heart be light
a book that i have worked on and i think truly is one of my best really one of my best i just it's a
culmination of christmas and knowledge of a 39 year old man who's been married a long time had
kids for a long time done life many years seen life and death and failure and success and
upheaval and so on and so forth all brought to you in in a very short Christmas story you know
it's a short story it is it's it's not a book it's a short story and it some short some stories
should remain short I don't know how to explain it you know what I mean it's just the way
some things should be told I'm going to read to you from it this is going to come to you
via email. I'll also get you the link if need be, right? It's going to be on Amazon. It's going to be free
on Amazon for three days. It's going to be free tomorrow. It's going to be free December 25th and
December 26th. So Christmas Eve, you can get it. You can read it. It'll come via email. You can go
find it on Amazon. Let your heart be light. Merry Christmas to you, okay? They'll be free.
That's it. It's my gift to you. It's two years of work. It's a lifetime of knowledge.
melted down into a short story that is, I don't know.
I have no idea, really, how, I don't have no idea how many pages it is
because it's a finished e-book.
But I know you're going to love it, that I'm sure of, you know.
I have no doubt about you'll love the thing.
You'll love the thing, you'll love what's in it.
I'm trying to find this section that I want to read from.
and
there's a lot of little details
there's a lot of little details about this book
this book was basically born out of
that one Christmas song
you know through the years
we'll all be together if the fates allow
that's life
that's all of life PBM family
through the years we will all be together
if the fates allow
And how lucky we are if the fates allow
And the fates only allow so long
Maybe you and your own family
You have sort of noticed that you felt that you've seen it
You've seen all of a sudden
Oh, parties are dwindling
The same people that used to show up
May not be with us anymore
For some of you who are older out there
You probably realize
Probably this time a year
Might be asked something of a hell
But it's still beautiful
You know what I mean
So I'm going to read this
from the story.
There's a million things I could read from the story.
But this, I think, is a little taste.
You know what I mean?
It's a little taste of kind of the direction.
We have multiple characters, multiple,
we have three different characters
with their own chapters each explaining their holiday experience.
You have Jonah and his wife Rose,
who were at odds about Christmas traditions
and the value they're in.
They're two beautiful little daughters, Joy and Holly.
We have Debra, who is a, well, I don't want to tell you about Debra,
but she is the linchpin of the whole story, in my opinion.
And she is a very interesting life.
We're going to read from her chapter right here.
And then we have Zeke, who has met Mary in the Christmas hubbub,
and you get to watch their relationship sort of unfold and collapse a bit
and see what happens to it from there.
And I hope you enjoy it, you know.
This from Let Your Heart Be Light, okay?
The chapter is Debra, and every single chapter is a song, right?
So the largest portion of the chapter is the name of the character, right?
Deborah.
This is the second chapter of Debra.
And the title of the chapter is Have a Cup of Cheer.
So you may be able to pick out every single chapter title by lyric.
The following chapter is Zeke. Bells will be ringing the sad, sad news, okay, if you get my drift.
If you get what I'm doing, you may know each and every song, it's not a tremendous challenge to know all the lyrics from all the songs that are represented in the chapter's subheading.
But it's fun. I'll tell you that. And they relate. You know what I mean? They relate to the chapter itself also.
I write the chapter. I wrote the chapter and then I would go, what's the lyric for this chapter?
you know like the jonah's jona and rose they they go to pick out that tree and in i think is what is the first
chapter of the book and uh you know i think it's how the how lovely are your branches chapter one
is that what it is or is it oh christmas yeah how lovely are your branches so anyway without
further ado i'll give you a little taste of deborah and uh you know this isn't really
describing her character very much.
It's a lot more about the vibe, I guess, you know?
Yeah, I don't want to go into that
because I'll give a little too much way of her story.
There's a way of living each season in this life.
During Christmas, we cover the outside world in lights and garland
to get at what is left inside.
We want to rewrap the gifts and place them back under the tree
to try and touch last year or years before
to try and feel that feeling of magic again
of course that's as crazy as sitting at your desk with a pen and pad
and writing the same sentence over and over all Christmas long
tis the season this is your Christmas story
and there's nothing more exciting at Christmas then
what could be wake the little child inside you and tell them
it's that time of year once again
your memories hopefully are joyous and full of magic the ink in your pen has hardly run dry keep writing of many a merry christmas so there's a lot of gushy you know gushy that kind of christmassy stuff all right i could have released it on the ninth maybe i should have i'd have sold a bunch but i'll tell you what sometimes it's uh it's uh it's good
to put the money where the mouth is in gift.
So the 24th, 25th, 26th, let your heart be light.
By yours truly will be free to all.
So it's not, you know, you can give it to whoever you want.
Just tell them, give them the link.
You know what I mean?
It is not a prepper story.
It is a Christmas story, and it's a wonderful one.
And I'm very proud of it.
So Merry Christmas, PBM family.
Enjoy the read.
And let me know how you feel about it.
Let me know if you liked it.
because like I said, it's year two on its creation and refinement and now publishing.
It always feels great to put the final touches on a new book.
Talk to you soon, folks.
