Welcome in, everybody, National Prepared this month. Can you imagine? Day seven already, guys. That's hard to believe. Came quick. I think it'll come and go quickly, to be quite honest with you. Today we have a special guest. Been working with Bryce for some time now. And I think you guys are going to love his company, particularly those of you in the off-grid par lance, right? This is small and effective technology that, Well, it does all kinds of stuff. So we're going to have him on today in just a moment. Before we get rolling, I want everybody to remember that these shows are on daily. Okay. These shows are on daily every day throughout the month of September. We're going to be on here bringing you some new guest and their product, their service, their style, their personality, whatever it is, and how it relates to preparedness here in America through National Preparedness Month. So without further ado, let's get our man Bryce Harper on with off-grid power tech.

How you doing, sir? Can you hear me? I can hear you just fine. Good morning. Thanks so much for joining us. I'm powering up the internet on the back end here just in case. Excellent. Yeah, thanks for having me on. I'm excited. Yeah, no problem. You know, one thing I don't know is how long have you guys been doing what you've been doing? I met you at the, at sort of the height of the oasis, but I never really asked you, like, when did you get started and all that? Yeah, I mean, so when we first contacted, that was about almost three years into the whole thing.

Starting with the oasis, some of you may have seen it. It was the water distiller desalinator that took the waste heat involved with that and generated power from that as well. I have a video on here still. I'll look. You keep talking. and I'll see if I have a video of it still in our stream yard. So that one took about three years to develop fully, the technology, the way it works together,

then developing that into a portable, user-friendly device. So now it's coming on four and a half years, just about something of that nature in that ballpark. And now we're introducing our second product, the Heat Force Pro, which, similar to the Oasis, uses that thermal electric heat harvesting technology to heat of space, pushes hot air around the room, charges your devices, USB power phone charging, battery banks, GPS, radios,

LED lights. And then you also have a little stove top to cook on. That's where the heat comes from. So you can cook, charge your stuff, and heat your room. On the side, there's a fan. I saw a fan in the video. Is that inside the unit? That is inside.

So what it does is it heats up those, and all of you all see in a second. It heats up the heat exchanger towers. So basically heats up all these metal fins. And then that fan self-actuates, self-activates, and pushes air through those fins. So it takes the cold air, pushes it through, heats it up in those fins, and then pushes out the hot air and pushes that around the room. So when you're talking hot air, is that something, obviously, not like a heat pump heat, but will there be hot air coming out of that thing or warm air, something like that?

Exactly. Yes, exactly. That's the idea. Think of it kind of like a wood stove fan a little bit, but a lot more advanced and a lot more efficient in pushing that heat around. It sucks the heat up and you'll see it uses either canned heat, so like sterno or something like that or a little alcohol burner of your own that you have. It's compatible with either.

And basically the Heat Force Pro sucks that heat up from those heat sources, distributes it to the air, pushes it out with that fan. And then you also get the added ability of USB charging. It comes with a little USB port up to 3 watts. Just about its average output is 3 to 4 watts. Is that the same as the Oasis? On output? No, Oasis is a little higher depending on how you're using it. But this is a consistent.

So as long as you're heating your room, you get that charging power at the same time. Okay. Yeah. And, you know, don't underestimate that amount of wattage, folks, for your ability to power lights and to light up a dark room because, you know, light, you know, makes a huge difference. So, but that thing, could you use that thing in like the, you know what? Let's look at the video and we'll show everybody kind of what, the heart. hardware looks like. And then I'll give you some questions after that.

We'll talk about the Kickstarter and those kinds of things. That's good to me. The most sense. Let's get a look at the Heat Force Pro inaction. You want to tell us who these fellas are? Maybe that would be an important thing. And where they're at in this video? So we got the help of some outfitters and outdoorsmen out in Wyoming.

Some of them ran their own outfitting outfits out in Wyoming. Some of them are just avid outdoorsmen, hunters, and such. And they so graciously volunteered to be part of this video and give a little testament of what they think of the Heat Force Pro. They used it for that day, and we got some shots of them using it, cooking on it, and that kind of nature. And they seem to have liked it a lot. So, you know, they're out there in Wyoming.

They're out there either in the summer and the winter, mostly a lot of the times in the winter are going out, packing out, 50 miles and staying out there for a couple weeks. And they love the product. So we'll see what y'all think. Let's take a look. When you're off the grid or working in real winter conditions, the basics matter more than anything.

So you see the fan, you see the cooking capability, you see the heat source at the bottom, the charging capability. Can you put that thing in a... Say you started a small... fire like under the grate of a fireplace. Could you put that in the fireplace and operated in there? Absolutely you can.

A big part of it too is I mentioned the wood stove fans earlier. You can stick this on top of the wood stove and not only push that hot air around the room just like a woodstow fan, but you also get that added charging ability from it. So like you said, you just drop it right on top. Exactly. Oh, that's cool. Yeah, that's really cool. Easy and cool for sure.

Yeah, I was thinking about that from the fireplace perspective. Maybe you can push some of that heat from the fireplace around the room. Exactly. If you build a fire strategically, you probably could handle it. Is there anything that could be compromised from too much heat in that thing? Yeah, you want to moderate how much heat? That's why, you know, we designed it with the four sternocans. That kind of outputs the perfect amount of heat for it to function properly.

If you do use it on a wood stove, you just got to make sure it doesn't peak above 200 degrees of the surface temperature of that stove. That's what you want. Okay. Exactly. So, you know, just being responsible with it. But if you are and you're just safe and using it the way it's supposed to be used, it'll work great. And when you're using the Heat Force Pro for cooking, you're putting some kind of pan or griddle right on top of everything? That's right. So in the video there, you saw they used a big old square cast iron pan. They cooked up. Was that about eight pieces of bacon at the same time? With those four sternal cans. So it puts out a surprising amount of heat.

It does a pretty good job with the cooking ability. So that the design must be robust enough that it can stand some weight on top of the unit. Are there any strong limitations on that? On top of the stove top? Not really. It is just solid aluminum construction. Okay. And, yeah, no plastic parts, nothing like that.

It's all metal. Yeah, it's pretty dang strong, especially since it's just that cylinder disc shape, basically. Yeah. So whatever you're cooking, you know, it's not going to be too heavy for it. It's not going to compromise it at all. It's going to, it'll be just hard. I like that. I like that it's a block of metal, essentially.

You know what I mean? That's all it is, yeah. Which really lends it to that sort of austere off-grid kind of Stick you know storage wise you probably don't have to go too crazy as far as protective storing I guess you might be a little worried about the USB connections and things like that Yeah, well it'll be it'll when when they do ship out It'll come with a little carrying case so a little kind of you know those canvas kind of deals Or nylon you know yeah, but um yeah

When it's all packed away and inside of its specific little carrying case, everything is pretty secure and pretty safe. So even with the USB connection, it's not too much of a concern jostling it around and stuff like that. So Bryce, I don't know if I ever mentioned this to you or not, but you were one of the biggest parts of a, you were at least one of three players in like a real shift in thinking of mine where I started thinking about my own kids and the fact that they could potentially own their own utility systems. You know what I mean? In terms of like house to house ownership, self-reliance of utilities.

Really? Yeah, because you and a few other companies were doing things that were like in how many more years until people really are like their own electric company, how many more years until heating the house doesn't require like an entire electric grid to do it in a way that's also convenient

outside of a wood stove, right? Totally. And I just see you guys as one of the companies that keeps pushing the pace on, well, really what it is is self-sufficiency, self-reliance, you know. So I appreciate your hard work because it's really got my mind turning about how do we set the next generation up so that they're off-grid in a way that looks like they're on-grid almost. You know what I mean?

From the convenience and the comfort standpoint. And this is just another piece of that. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next. Don't you have another product, the third product, too? Yeah, we got some. It's still much more in the drawing board phase, but similar to the heat force pro. What's that? I thought you had one out there already.

No, it's just the oasis in the heat force pro right now. But we are working. It's called the power disk. And similar to the heat force probe, but instead of heating up air, it heats of water. So it's a water heater. And then it generates 40 to 50 watts of electricity. electricity at the same time. And that one's a lot more versatile. That one, you can stick on hot coals of fire, campfire, directly on the campfire, wood stove, sternal cans, you know,

pretty much a very, very robust selection of heat sources there. I got you. And a lot higher power output, too. So that'll be coming. That's sweet, man. So what we have now, folks, is a Kickstarter that is launching when? That is launching October 1st is the projected launch date. So just under a month. Oh, dude, that is perfect. It's literally the grand finale for National Preparedness Month. There you go.

That was all the questions, too. That's just lined up pretty perfectly. That lined up perfect. Yeah, so you guys can put all this sort of preparedness knowledge in your head. Hopefully you use our first interview of the month, be prepared solutions, and take advantage of their plan builder. build out your emergency plan and then see is is off grid heat something you're interested in. I'll give you a hint.

Off grid heat is something you're interested in. Off grid power, all that kind of stuff. So off grid cooking. So the Heat Force Pro might become a big piece of that puzzle for it. Especially nowadays. Yeah, yeah. I mean, a lot of the stuff with this thermal electric technology is just crazy expensive for some reason. I think people just like to market up. But you really... Yeah, it's a little snake oily, if you have to be what I've seen. That's what it seems like.

It's a shame because it seems like it gives people like a bad taste in their mouth about the stuff, you know. But it is really cool technology, I think. Yeah.
