Starting point is 00:00:00 Not too long ago, two friends of mine were talking to a Cuban refugee, a businessman who had escaped from Castro. And in the midst of his story, one of my friends turned to the other and said, we don't know how lucky we are. And the Cuban stopped and said, how lucky you are. I had some place to escape to. And in that sentence, he told us the entire story. If we lose freedom here, there's no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth. This is the last
Starting point is 00:00:55 stand on earth. The last stand on Earth. SILENT PRAGUE © BF-WATCH TV 2021 You are now listening to the Patriot Power Hour. This live episode features the situational awareness you need to practice self-reliance and independence. Introducing your hosts, Ben, the Breaker of Banksters, and Future Dan, the editor of FutureDanger.com. Patriot Power Hour. It's episode 262, May 15th, 2024. Ben, the Breaker of Banksters, here with Future Dan. We're on 262, and I haven't seen a week where we had so much natural news.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Most of the headlines we're going to get into are deadly natural occurrences and they're abroad. Other than that, there is news at home. What's striking your interest right at the top of episode 262, Ben? Domestically, it's all about the economy to me. Internationally, there's a lot of other stuff going on, and we'll talk about that, whether that's Ukraine, China, et cetera, Middle East.
Starting point is 00:03:15 But home, it's all about the economy. And I am biased as the breaker of banksters. But essentially today we saw that the Federal Reserve is hinting that they're going to lower rates again and would be there with quantitative easing and more bailouts if there is any sort of crisis. So we saw more than a dollar gain in silver, 30 bucks in gold, and more than $4,500 just today in Bitcoin increase. So the printing machine is warming back up if it ever cooled down. All the different treasury bonds and the yield on the government debt going down, meaning
Starting point is 00:03:59 they expect interest rates to go down. But they've been heeing and hawing and hemming and hawing and all the feds speak in the world. And who really knows what's going on? I just think keep prepping. The economy's definitely not getting better in the long run. I can tell you that. So CPI, the super price index, came in running 3.4% year over year,
Starting point is 00:04:27 and the stock market went up for the rest of the day as well. So that's where we're at. Not as bad, I suppose. But conversely, yesterday, just one day ago, we saw producer prices, U.S. producer prices accelerating at one of the highest clips in the past year. Definitely much higher than average and way above expectations. As any finance 101 person could tell you, the market's already priced it in if the expectations are there.
Starting point is 00:05:04 But when expectations are missed, or whether that miss is high or low, it can change things. And even though the inflation's still high, the market, at least today, thought, hey, maybe it's not as bad as we were thinking, and maybe the Fed will be able to cut rates a little bit, and maybe we can keep this party going a little longer
Starting point is 00:05:28 and that set off some financial gain for those who are prepared for it. Yeah, how close to tottering and spinning apart do you think we are right now compared to, oh, I don't know, last week? Oh, it's super hard to tell week to week because what's really the depths of the banking system we're not privy to. And a lot of times you're not privy to till way after a crash or a liquidity event or a bank failure. So there could be a huge bank that's failing right now and they're having emergency talks
Starting point is 00:06:04 with the Fed that we don't even know about that may never manifest because they're able to patch it up or might manifest next week out of nowhere. I think we're not in a better situation than we were last week. Have we degraded by a precipitate, you know, by by a large amount? Hard to tell. Hard to tell. Hard to tell. I think what I've always looked at, and we talked about a lot last week, is debt relative to GDP or debt relative to what you actually produce, your actual revenue. And we're seeing the interest.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Well, first off, the deficits are huge. National debt and consumer debt are just massive. And with these high interest rates, I mean, when the interest on the debt is more than the entire defense budget and it continues to grow faster than the defense budget, that is actual national security level. So I think we're at red alert already. And the defense budget is not getting smaller year over year, that's for sure.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Yeah, right, exactly. Yep, we got news abroad, we got news at home, we got economic news, natural news, but everybody else is going to be talking about the fact that there, right now, will be a Biden biden trump debate again in june that is taking up all the airwaves all the internet all the television everything uh all the papers i'm sure tomorrow whatever people don't read the papers anymore but i think the average person is more worried about record household debt jumping delinquencies massive amount of bankruptcies and foreclosures on the horizon.
Starting point is 00:07:48 James Walton, the Detroit Commander here on Prepper Broadcasting Network, a few days ago talked about prepping to excess, and that's definitely the same financially. If you are making more money now than you're spending, good. Save that, invest in that, whether in preps and your skills and health first and foremost uh and hold on tight don't don't piss it away you know i want to go buy a new truck really bad and i'm not doing it because i'd rather just hold on to it because who knows is let's get through this election through the year at least maybe even through
Starting point is 00:08:23 the inauguration next year uh before any of those big purchases and splurging a little bit. And I think that's smart for everybody. Prep to success, financially or otherwise. Yeah, I think inside that federal government right now, they're prepping for their success in a second Trump term. Now they're prepping for their success in a second Trump term. And that means hardwiring funding streams and getting money appropriate, putting into place people to just absolutely defy him if he makes it to the presidency. If he makes it to the debate at the end of June and is not in jail by then.
Starting point is 00:09:07 So there's a lot of context. I think the average prepper broadcasting network listener is more focused on the things you've mentioned. But the average American tonight? No, they're talking about Trump, Biden, and what kind of train wreck that's liable to be. I mean, it's going to be historical. I would love it. I would love Trump to clean his clock live on TV. I'll give it like a coin flip at best of occurring, just the debate, let alone anything beyond then.
Starting point is 00:09:37 But let's have it. Let's do it. Um, what mono a mono? I think there's no audience. That's part of the terms right so i'm wondering if the terms are they they don't even appear in the same room they're like in video clips with responses to each other so yeah the first presidential teams debate on the stuff teams or something. So cringe, but so likely, apparently. I don't know. I would look forward to it.
Starting point is 00:10:12 I don't even know if Biden would make it that far. There's still a lot of folks out there that think he could be replaced in the DNC in August, I think. That's so close to the election. But I know it feels like they're turning against him, and he's getting older every day like all of us, but it affects somewhat of his age and dementia a lot more than everybody else. So anyway, we'll see.
Starting point is 00:10:35 That's still like a month and a half from now. There's a lot that could change between now and that debate. The Democrats do have delegates in primaries that could go to a convention and just vote against him that is true that'd be amazing to watch a political party in the west remove its own leader by you know just a party apparatus the delegates not you know everyday voters um because he did win all the primaries, to my knowledge. I don't think he had any opposition in a single state. That would be so undemocratic to witness. That'd be a turning point. I'm not sure he would go out that way.
Starting point is 00:11:22 He might pass away between here and the election. He's certainly old enough. Other presidents have at that age of life. Or have to step down because he had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks and he couldn't even hide it. I'm just saying I'd rather him not be a martyr and be hurt or injured
Starting point is 00:11:42 or sickly. I'd rather him just get whooped fair and square. But there's a pretty high chance that his health could fail between now and the election, now and inauguration, even now in the June debate that's set up. Are they going to do two of them or just one? Didn't they maybe say there's going to be two? I thought they announced two, and the first one's in June.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Okay. All right. Yeah, it's entertainment at least, and I hope that Trump would whoop them, but yeah, it's not that relevant. Yeah, and the prospect that that party could do that, just jettison their sitting president as candidate in their convention the same summer that they possibly jailed their political opponent, right? I mean, think about that dystopia. There's going to be, beyond a shadow of a doubt, a one-party system rising in this country if that happens. And left, right, and center would be able
Starting point is 00:12:46 to watch it with their own eyes. A lot of people would bury their head in the sand, but a lot of people would wake up or continue to waking up seeing that. Yeah, we got a couple minutes until break. What else on your radar before we go to break and before we go to the news blitz?
Starting point is 00:13:05 That kind of waking up is destabilizing, right? So with that background and context in the popular election starts to have second and third order effects. And other parts of news that are getting much more serious. other parts of news that are getting much more serious. So there's no indicator to talk about the controversial presidential debate on future danger. In and of itself, it's a good thing there's a debate. But it's going to be shaking up this whole country in the next month, and especially if Trump goes to jail, it's going to be amazing to watch whether the judiciary can do something to put an end to this
Starting point is 00:13:51 or they just let it ride and the country's going to boil. Probably purposefully. They could get a lot of other things done and blame a lot of people, get a lot of infighting going on with that. I think Biden would have to step down himself or be so like I said medically incapacitated that it couldn't be denied
Starting point is 00:14:11 I don't think they will literally you know try to remove him when he's kicking and screaming trying to stay in that would be such a bad look I think it's more of like he literally passes away. He becomes so infirm
Starting point is 00:14:28 or hospitalized he can't make appearances and just has to throw it in or he says hey I need to step down and he tries to save Grace or whatnot. Anyway folks we're going to break. On the Patriot Power Hour with the News Blitz and a lot more analysis as well. Stick with us. Finger up for Ragnarok. Finger up for Ragnarok.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Patriot Power Hour. Interception. February 25th, 2020. Episode 85. Why can low interest rates be bad in layman's terms think of it as adrenaline if you're running on adrenaline at all times that is really taxing the system and really it could kill you sometimes you need adrenaline if there's a medical emergency that can keep the patient alive right bam right in the heart like pulp fiction but guess what you can't be having that all the time we're not just seeing emergency measures we're seeing unprecedented emergency measures very low interest rates for prolonged period of time they simply lead to bad and poor allocation of capital slash resources. Malinvestment, those investors, whether it's your pension fund, whether it's 401k, whether it's foreigners who buy a lot of our debt, by the way, all those folks, they want to get a return.
Starting point is 00:16:23 And guess what? When inflation is actually higher, even though they say inflation rate's low, it's not this low. And the lower these rates go, it just means inflation is much and much higher. Where does that end? Just ends in the total, unfortunately, the total destruction in an exponential fashion of any mathematical model. We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network. Target on my back, lone survivor last They got me in the sights No surrender, no trigger, fingers go Living the dangerous life Hey, hey, hey, every day when I wake
Starting point is 00:17:23 I'm trying to get up, they're knocking me down. Chewing me up, spitting me out. Hey, hey, hey, when I need to be saved, you're making me strong, you're making me stand. Never fall, never walk. Shot like a rocket up into the sky, nothing can stop me tonight. You make me feel invincible, earthquake powerful. Just like a tidal wave, you make me brave. Time for the News Blitz Episode 262
Starting point is 00:18:11 May 15th, 2024 Let's start with the wide variety of natural news Late last weekend, you may have heard it here on PBN A lot of alerts of extreme solar storms, coronal mass ejections, et cetera. Luckily, we didn't sustain a kill shot that took out tons of satellites or even power grids. They did survive, but this is the first one in 20 years i mean this extreme of a solar storm in 20 years u.s did suffer some radio blackouts after being hit
Starting point is 00:18:51 thankfully nothing too crazy but there were in other natural news or unfortunately have been some deaths and big time destruction thousands Thousands of homes destroyed, over 300 dead as flash floods ravaged northern Afghanistan. Huge floods in Brazil. Deadly dust storm in India. Kills eight in Mumbai. All types of negative health effects, I'm sure, as well. Mumbai, all types of negative health effects, I'm sure, as well.
Starting point is 00:19:33 Asteroid to fly past Earth at a very close distance of 0.06 lunar distances. Super close, relatively speaking. A couple earthquakes in Mexico, Chiapas region. So it's that time of the year, at least in the northern hemisphere, lots of activities, spring, storms, and whatnot. Economics, we touched on some of this in the intro of today's show but producer prices accelerating at fastest rate in 12 months fed chair admits inflation higher than expected on the other hand today's cpi came in at a not trust me inflation's not going down,
Starting point is 00:20:26 but it wasn't as high as potentially expected, meaning the Fed may have a little bit of wiggle room. We'll see. Meanwhile, commissioned to address federal government's $34 trillion in debt. Well, it's dead in Congress, so maybe when it gets to $40 trillion, they'll rally. But I don't think so. But it's dead in Congress. Maybe when it gets to $40 trillion they'll rally. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:20:46 But it's dead for now. Record household debt. Jump in delinquencies. Signal worsening financial distress. Cars to houses to businesses
Starting point is 00:21:00 to yes, governments. Lots of delinquencies biggest nato exercise since cold war is going on swift response in kharkov which had two huge battles in World War II between the Nazis and the Russians. Well, that's the front lines again. Ukrainian front lines, though, are collapsing. Some Ukrainian military men really pissed that their defenses were not fortified enough.
Starting point is 00:21:41 The Germans, the Russians, were able to plow through their front lines taking a lot of land in eastern Ukraine after Orthodox Easter just a week ago any sort of ceasefire was over POTUS 46 calls illegals crossing the border Hispanic voters
Starting point is 00:22:02 also was bragging about how they're joining the labor force. And finally, they are model citizens. So aliens vote is what that one's under. Future Dan, there's the news blitz. Yeah. So we got a politician in Slovakia assassinated tonight as well, or attempted assassination.
Starting point is 00:22:29 So that situation in Ukraine and Eastern Europe is more volatile tonight than it has been since about the other moments in the first year of the war, but we're getting a crescendo in the Ukraine theater of combat. And the Slovakian president or prime minister expected to live last I read about 45 minutes
Starting point is 00:22:58 ago, but was in very critical condition and was let's just say, it wasn't Putin that did this, we won't think. Anything could happen with cloak and dagger. But this guy was, if anything, pro-Russia and anti-NATO and said he would not allow or he would veto Ukraine entering NATO.
Starting point is 00:23:24 I guess Slovakia is in NATO, future Dan. Did not know that. Yeah. All the states are in NATO now, with Finland and Sweden joining, except for Switzerland, of course. There you go. So a NATO, a prime minister of a NATO country that actually was sort of pro-Russian shot in broad daylight today. Yeah, by a 71-year-old apparently.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Things are getting unstable. all around the fringes, every seam in our society and our world geopolitics is shearing off, it seems like. Slowly, though, right, in little bits of time, we're not even talking about most of the same topics that we talked about last week on Patriot Power Hour. That's a theme week to week, month to month, and almost year to year, I feel like, with Patriot Power Hour and this whole situation, and I want to make it more of just a circle that continues, you know, a concentric circle, or maybe a spiral that continues to spiral, but all I keep picturing is going down the toilet, I'm sorry, but it's where it's it's you know each loop is a little bit worse than the last one but there can be reprieves and you can also think of it as a wave right there's peaks and
Starting point is 00:24:52 valleys but each peak is higher and uh things are really oscillating on in an unstable fashion at this point and things can really just shake apart There's just so much new technology going on. I don't feel like the banksters. Or whomever's in charge of the financial system. Really understands what's going on. Or could really control it. If they ever could. First off.
Starting point is 00:25:17 But geopolitically. And the health system as well. And then you compound that. We talk about all different topics each month. But in the end. We do continue to build these stories on all these topics, and pretty much all of them are going in the wrong direction. Well, one of them we always come back to, and it can be categorized tonight as $1 trillion in debt every 100 days.
Starting point is 00:25:41 That's our current rate, and we talked about that one last week. That's our current rate. We talked about that one last week. That's crazy. And we're not even under a super emergency Oh my gosh. Hey, we do have a chat from Sloan. What's going on Sloan? If the Dems pull Biden, who do you think they put forward?
Starting point is 00:25:58 President and VP. Thanks Sloan for the comment and question. Future Dan, do you have any thoughts of who they might, who they might put in for Biden, whether they pull him or whether he's unable to make it? Clinton. Really? Hillary.
Starting point is 00:26:19 That's the only one I can think of. I don't know what her health is. She was, she was collapsing. She was fainting in the first run against Trump. So her health wasn't, you know, actually Biden manages to, even when he falls down, he gets up. So he manages to walk around and still mumble in person, in public. I don't know if she's fit to do that, but it's the first one that comes to my mind.
Starting point is 00:26:45 It had to be someone with star power, I think. They could have just put in some middling person, I don't think. Michelle Obama says she wouldn't run, but who knows. Who else could it be besides Michelle? Good question, Sloan. I try not to even... They could try Harris. They might just have to do that.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Whether that's Harris as the president or keep her as VP and put someone else as VP. Newsome, aka American Psycho, he has kind of the look of one, but I don't know. That's a great question, Sloan,
Starting point is 00:27:27 something we need to maybe focus on a little bit. Of course, if that happens, we'll be covering it here on not just PBN, but PPH. Yeah, so something else cropped up in the news that isn't on the dashboard that you read, because in and of itself it's not dangerous, but it may be symptomatic of the malaise on Wall Street, if nothing else. has spiked again. The Apes are back. Roaring Kitty came out of retirement.
Starting point is 00:28:11 Have you been able to take a look at that little sideshow and tell us what it is? Is there any there there this time? Here's what is there. Halting trading 38 times in one day because GameStop and AMC were just ripping and roaring, going unbelievably high. To say that we have any sort of free market or close to free market when they can halt it 38 times, but guess what? They almost only halt it on the way up they sure don't halt it on the way down we've seen this meme trade which i think is bogus and i don't participate in but it's kind of funny to see and it's good to see some hedge funds eat crap but it's kind of a distraction but it is a
Starting point is 00:28:58 symptom of just how schizo the system has been. But these guys are kind of calling the bluff of these hedge fund guys that are getting burned by this short squeeze. And the funny thing is a lot of these people that are participating, pretty much what's happening is all these hedge funds, not all of them, but several, are short the stock. GameStop and AMC's hedge funds, not all of them, but several, are short the stock. GameStop and AMC. And this occurred a couple years ago as well. What happened is a grassroots movement through Twitter, through Reddit,
Starting point is 00:29:40 and through Wall Street bets and the apes and all this other craziness, the grassroots people said, I'm going to spend $20. I'm going to spend $50. I'm going to spend $500 of my own money to buy these stocks. And when those prices go up, it's actually going to cost those Wall Street firms that were short, it's going to cost them millions and then billions of dollars in losses when the price goes up for really no reason. There's no reason anyone would buy all this crap. But these, a lot of them kids, a lot of them my age, but a lot of them are like 25,
Starting point is 00:30:16 30, just throwing in like 20 bucks, 50 bucks, 500 bucks. And in the aggregate, a few thousand, 10,000, 50,000 of these people kind of power the people screwing it up. But in the aggregate, a few thousand, 10,000, 50,000 of these people kind of power the people screwing it up. But in the end, you're not going to win this game. You're going to lose that money. So it's kind of, you know, that's cool. But you're going to lose all that money. I think you could use that money to fight the system
Starting point is 00:30:38 and prepare a little bit more efficiently, but I like to see it. It's good gumption. Hopefully some of these kids that got into it or will be inspired by it will look deeper into the system, you know? So what you're saying is there's never going to be a moment where GameStop or, you know, AMC is profitable enough to not attract the attention of shorts. Those things are always going to get shortened because their business models are unviable and my if you if the answer that is yes
Starting point is 00:31:13 then are these are those two stocks or at least game stop stock going to be the one place where no hedge fund dares short because just out of spite just for sport there's this massive group of people that'll just do this again yes and i'm not a historian but i swear there will be books and there actually is already a netflix movie about uh the first game stop shenanigans a couple years ago. I swear I haven't seen it, but I saw it. I didn't actually watch it, but I saw a preview for it or whatever. But they're going to lose money, and GameStop was down 18% today.
Starting point is 00:31:57 And it is, though, got to be kind of a worry for some of those hedge funds out there that, hey, what's the next one? But I still think AMC and GameStop in particular were kind of unique circumstances that lent themselves to this in the first place. They were essentially bankrupt going through restructuring and or just, you know, during COVID, no one went to movies. And also no one hardly buys physical movies or video games anymore like gamestop relied upon gamestop almost all of its margin came from buying used games and systems and electronics from people for you know pennies on the dollar and then reselling it but a lot of that business went away let alone during covid so all the hedge funds decided to short the hell out of it.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Easy money. This thing is going to zero or near zero. Let's just pile on and make a quick, easy buck, right? It's like Mike Tyson when he's like a 50-to-1 favorite, right? But he got knocked out. He got knocked out. And they kind of weren't ready. Maybe they took it a little too easy.
Starting point is 00:33:05 So I don't expect the apes or the kitty or all that stuff to be able to overturn the entire stock market. But they have shown, once again, the power of people rallying like that. But I think that's, again, put better in gold, silver, Bitcoin, and prepping yourself. Because eventually the house wins and all that money put into it, those hedge funds, or if not those exact hedge funds, others come in and profit off of it. Some of these hedge funds might lose a billion dollars or even go out of business, but one of their buddies or even one of their rivals will come in
Starting point is 00:33:42 and eventually get all that money out of it and you're going to be left all that money out of it. And you're going to be left with no money. And it was funny. And it kind of proved a point. But did it? I don't know. The meme stonk momentum crowd.
Starting point is 00:33:59 You're discounting the apes tonight. We'll see. They've stood firm and wreaked havoc before. That's a little distortion on the margins of the economy, one could say. Interesting story. We'll see where it goes. Two other places we could go. Last week, Trump came straight out and said, if you're for crypto, you're for Trump. Want to get your take on that?
Starting point is 00:34:21 So you're for Trump. Want to get your take on that. And then we were looking ahead at extreme solar flares, which have happened and have continued to happen without any noticeable degradation of anything in society. Wanted your take on that one, too. With Trump, my personal view is every crypto except bitcoin is a security so it's essentially a financial instrument and some of them might be legit a lot of them aren't but the government has purview to regulate securities so trump first off sees business opportunity in it he sees tax revenue and
Starting point is 00:35:08 even though he won't say that out loud i'm sure right and he sees hey maybe we can make some money off this maybe this crypto thing you know i don't know anything about it but it sounds good a couple years ago though he said about bitcoin that bitcoin is very bad that it's the threat against king dollar and that there's no room for a competition to the dollar so either in the last couple of years he's changed his mind or maybe he's just thinking of crypto generally as business and smart contracts and there's a lot of interesting cool stuff with blockchain and stuff but none of of it except for, in my opinion, Bitcoin can challenge the U.S. dollar and other national currencies and be kind of a currency of the people
Starting point is 00:35:54 and something that can't be taken from you certainly not as easily as your bank account and 401k. I don't think he would be, he's pro that still though. I think he would be like, oh no, I don't think he would he's pro that still though i think he would be like oh no i don't mean that though king dollar all the way we need to lower interest rates to zero percent as well i think he's a big fan of low interest rates uh i don't know maybe he's turned though maybe he's learning i'd like to hear him say something about that in the debate or down the line though absolutely he might be doing that too what about the uh solar flares solar flares can you
Starting point is 00:36:28 prime that question a little bit more or once more it was much anticipated this time last week and we've had the flares they are you know record setting in terms of you know decades the most severe that the Earth has had recorded hitting us in at least two decades. There hasn't been the damage that one would fear. What's your thoughts?
Starting point is 00:36:55 Very happy. Very glad. I do have Faraday Cage as well as a silent pocket squared away with some basic electronics and other stuff protected. As well as a silent pocket. Squared away. With some basic electronics. And other stuff. Protected. Doesn't mean I.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Would be prepared for. Massive power outage. Continent wide or worldwide. Like some were thinking. Had a 5 or 10% chance of occurring. I don't know if those. That threat was overblown. or if we just got super lucky. I do believe it wasn't,
Starting point is 00:37:29 you know, wasn't as direct to hit as people thought it would be. I'm taking it as a near miss and like, okay, maybe I need to double my Faraday cage capacity. Maybe I need to, you know, make sure my preps are a little bit more in gear.
Starting point is 00:37:44 One thing I'm planning to do this. Hey, and Sloan just chatted. What's going on? Sloan shown says we need to make sure my preps are a little bit more in gear. One thing I'm planning to do this. Hey, Sloan just chatted. What's going on, Sloan? Sloan says, we need to do a summer Gotham get out. And this is actually perfect for what I was just about to go into. Is this summer I'm going to do at my home and where I live at least 72 hour no power challenge. Just to kind of get in that rhythm just to work out some of the kinks of my no power uh plans so i can't think of a crappy example right now but just like getting my making
Starting point is 00:38:17 sure my candles are all good and uh you know making sure my water filters are squared away and that stuff already is but there's way more than just lighting and, and water when the power's out for 72 hours. But anyway, so I'm like that, but also like Sloan said, a Gotham get out, maybe we could parlay that into it or Sloan wants us to do a Gotham get out
Starting point is 00:38:36 this summer though. I like that. Well, put the two together and you'd get a three day Gotham get out, move about, you know, five to eight miles per day to different sites and you certainly wouldn't have electricity while you did that i honestly think
Starting point is 00:38:51 that's a good idea because in my opinion i'm able to i feel like i'm able to just power through a 24 or 36 hour no sleep no food 15 mile hike i could do that without too much trouble but it's the next day could i do another 10 miles and then the next day i do another 10 miles like that's a different level when you start to deal with blisters lack of sleep lack of motivation as much and the weather will definitely get you after a while so anyway, we've got to think about it. Some sort of Gotham get-out this summer into the fall. I'm all about it. If you are, we'll start to think about it, Sloan.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Sloan says, I live in Arizona. I'm talking like 115-degree weather. That could get real dangerous real quick. Yeah, I'd be all for helping organize one. I'm not sure I'm necessarily needing to compete in two in the same year, but being a judge, walking along with people wanting to do that, we've got to get with the interpret commander and Dave Jones and see if that's feasible, but I like the idea.
Starting point is 00:40:03 I just wanted to weigh in on the solar flares, the way I kind of conceive of them. And I'm not a, you know, astrophysicist and I'm not well studied on this particular aspect of solar flares, but you know, my,
Starting point is 00:40:19 my understanding limited though it may be is, uh, make, makes me think of them similar to earthquakes. And what I feel like what happened this week was somewhat equivalent to a five-point-something earthquake, which could possibly do some damage, but typically not much. So the scale that they've got for the flares, you know, X flares now, this class of flare was considered extreme, like 20-year record or so.
Starting point is 00:40:54 But it's pretty mild, I think, against modern infrastructure. But if one of these solar flares came at us and it was the equivalent of a 7.5 earthquake you know the richter scale scales up by multiples of a thousand so something like that could come off of the sun and absolutely do the damage that could could be wr, but it's going to be an exceedingly rare event. If anybody's alive when it happens, nothing else matters since electronics, right? Before electronics, they probably happened and no one much noticed.
Starting point is 00:41:41 Oh, look at the, we got the Aurora Borealis down in Florida, but whatever. You know, it didn't affect anything. That happens again at, you know, Richter 8 scale kind of solar flare. I'm not even sure that's preparable for. You just got to know how to live like our ancestors did. The good news is, think about how much of the country 100 years ago wasn't even electrified. Like, you can live. You can make it. It was certainly done before. Will it be easy? No. Will it cause hardship? Yes.
Starting point is 00:42:19 Will people that are able to live because of air conditioning and respirators and other medical treatments be in jeopardy absolutely right but it won't be a civilization ender and and we've already had you know for 60 years 70 years militaries shielded for this sort of thing so it doesn't it doesn't pose a threat to the military. A lot of great points there. It might wreck satellites, but even those can be put back up fairly quickly. One of the first trails I was going to go down is, even if, let's just say, the GPS system was down for 30 days,
Starting point is 00:43:03 that would cost tens if not hundreds of billions of dollars in damage. That would be much larger than the Baltimore port or a lot of these other issues. It wouldn't be absolutely devastating, but that could be an actual black Swan. That would be enough to tip over the economy, you know, that would kick this house of cards down for one,
Starting point is 00:43:21 uh, with regard to living like our ancestors i think that's a big part of what pepper broadcasting network's about some of the shows teach you how to live like that and then just overall ethos of self-reliance is a big part of of that i would personally be much more worried about other humans for the first several months. Whether that's people looting or just super desperate. I'm not just going to shoot anyone that shows up at my door by any means. But I would be able to survive many months without electricity by myself.
Starting point is 00:43:59 It's just other people that may not be able to could become problems. I'm hoping those type of people would burn themselves out within a couple months and then everyone who's left that was preppers can try to rebuild. But, yeah, get out of the cities, folks. At least in America, I think we're pretty damn blessed because we got a lot of great land. Crops grow well around here. Pretty good weather depending where you live.
Starting point is 00:44:24 So, I mean, there's places you can go ride this out without too many people around you, you know, so that's what I'm planning to try to do. We'll see. Yeah. Unless you have, you know, rely on electricity to stay alive, like your health is in that condition and there's people like that, obviously, But otherwise, it's just are you ready to accept a quality of life that in many ways moves back 100 years, right? A dark age. That's what that would be.
Starting point is 00:44:58 It would. It would. Sloan says, keep up the amazing work, guys. I do not listen to much BS media, but I always listen to PPH on PBN. That's awesome, Sloan. Thanks for the chat. Really appreciate it. That's really cool.
Starting point is 00:45:11 We are live, actually, everybody, each Wednesday, 7 p.m. Eastern. I know the good majority of our folks listen in an archive, but if you want to chat, interact with us live during our shows, be like Sloan. Thanks, Sloan. That's awesome. Yeah, thank you. So got to be a few headlines you wanted to click on and make sure we had our say before this. Episode 262 concludes tonight, Ben.
Starting point is 00:45:40 All right. All right. Latest on the Slovakian prime minister, Robert Fico. I don't think it's Fico, like a Fico score. He's expected to survive. Sky News says he's very pro-Russian. They had to throw that in there. But there was a couple let's see um
Starting point is 00:46:17 half a million russians are massing against ukraine right now that's that that that's serious news uh i think the isr kill chain air kill is going to really just be a matter of how many of that 500,000 can Russia run into the artillery and aerial bombardment before. They'll get terrain this summer, but it's going to be just bloody war on the east front, June, July. I'm calling that now I think it would be the bloodiest summer I feel like at this rate they say that the fighting's equal to as severe as it's ever been
Starting point is 00:46:56 and as you said there are half a million Russians in reserve meanwhile Ukraine saying they're really pretty much out of men they're getting reinforced by western equipment, materiel, rockets, artillery,
Starting point is 00:47:12 drones, ISR, and all that. But if you don't have the flesh and blood on the battlefield, the Russians, they'll keep marching. They've already lost, what, like half a million casualties i would say the russians that's some numbers i've seen some think even higher and they would lose
Starting point is 00:47:32 another half million if they was able to get the job done in the next few months if they really wanted to i think so uh they're not they're not posturing like they're backing off by putting another half million on the border and intensifying this attack. I don't think it's a faint. Doesn't seem like it. It's going to be a lot of private military companies in Ukraine pretty soon. Going to pay me enough Bitcoin to go there. I'll tell you that. me enough bitcoin to go there i'll tell you that but some people you know mercenaries or bloodlust or believe in the cause and want to go get go and join uh terminator drone warfare in ukraine
Starting point is 00:48:15 go for it um but yeah china rapidly developing space weapons and nukes and kamikaze satellites and robots and drones as well so everyone's watching what's going on ukraine and developing their own defensive and offensive capabilities as such i watched the twitter feed for the ministry of defense of taiwan and they always announce any incursions in their air defense identification zone, which mainland China regularly violates daily. I think I saw a tweet indicating, because they count the number of aircraft at the same time, and ships that are encroaching.
Starting point is 00:49:05 I saw some large numbers like a day before yesterday. We should put into context in Europe, though, the biggest NATO exercise since the Cold War is going on right now. Swift response, they call it. So this was a stage land assault that started over the weekend in Estonia, the Baltics. Biggest NATO military exercise since the Cold War. Yeah, could be going down soon. No reason to not prep at this point, I can tell you that.
Starting point is 00:49:47 So on the, you know, that actual border with Russia and Belarus, large amounts of NATO troops does, you know, put at risk, you know, the Russian ability to, you know, how far into Ukraine can they go before they risk, you know, one or more, at least European countries, you know, responding. But again, everybody's under each other's nuclear umbrellas. How does that work? How does it, you know, start and not stop? They don't know.
Starting point is 00:50:22 So the stalemate persists and the meat grinder that is Ukraine goes on tonight. It does, it does. There's actually I'm sorry, I missed a couple articles on NewsBlitz that Chinese one about
Starting point is 00:50:41 space warfare, but did I cover the CDC reports 41% more imported malaria cases in three southern border cities in 2023? I don't think so. Yeah, we should get into that. It's just clear as day. It's the illegal migrants, right?
Starting point is 00:51:04 They're directly measuring them. So, you know, the diseases are coming here like it hasn't been for anybody, any American's lifetime. 41% more imported malaria cases in 23 compared to 22. And it's not like there weren't that many in 22 so just massive 41 is huge if you got a 40 raise at work would you be pretty happy well if your malaria cases are going up 41 in one year in southern border cities and if also many folks are making it through the border without being stopped or caught and you would presume the average population would also have the same
Starting point is 00:51:54 preponderance of malaria just not being caught by the cdc that means that and a lot of other diseases could be going in i don't know i I think if you're sick with malaria anywhere in the world, your best chance of living is go to the U.S. southern border and get caught by the Biden administration and hope to get treatment. Hey, maybe. I'll give you that. I'm sure there's some that are like, okay, I made it here. Hey, take me.
Starting point is 00:52:24 I just don't want to die. But I'm sure there's some that are like, okay, I made it here. Hey, take me. I just don't want to die. But I'm sure there's a lot that got through. Yep, it can't go on. It's just something's got to break with that going on. Something that would be an interesting analysis, maybe for episode 263, a little teaser here. At some point, it's going to be worthwhile, I think, for you and I to break down all the arms sales in the world right now. Who's selling arms to who?
Starting point is 00:52:55 Who's exporting? Who's importing? And what quantities? Because if you look at that analysis there we we have they say it's a multi-polar world and it is obviously much more than during you know the time the soviet union and the cold war however it you know it's really two sides and and all the sides that will arm and will support russia that that's an interesting block right there, right? Because we have relationships with a lot of those countries. Same could be said for Israel. So maybe that's something geopolitically that we really talk about. What's getting built and who's buying it and who's selling it?
Starting point is 00:53:42 Do you think we could find reliable info outside of the West, like how much China and Russia are purchasing? There are public estimates. There's open source intel. Enough to begin speculating. It's the same thing we face when we use Federal Reserve numbers, frankly. You take the number and you understand that there's some variance in it and how much faith you have that the variance is small or large. But taking official numbers at face value and discussing what those implications are, something that we should aspire to. It's really going to talk about the hard reality of who's with who
Starting point is 00:54:28 and who's against who. No matter what the political, popular discussions in those countries are, show us the money, right? Show us who's arming who. It tells you more, perhaps, than what any of those governments publicly say. I like it, especially trade amongst governments with regard to, you know, national security equipment, military spending, etc. So I know with regard to oil and a lot of other natural resources in the last few years, Russia and China have been pushed together a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:55:11 They're definitely trading with each other a lot more there. In terms of military equipment, I don't know because they are natural enemies in my opinion. They're not natural allies at least, but if they get pushed to collaborating a lot more on new weapon systems or manufacturing massive amounts of currently established, that's something I don't want to go down a huge tangent, but that's something that I find really interesting is all the badass American equipment from the 80s that was really designed in the 70s. F-16s and the Abrams, all that, are really still the platforms that are being used nowadays.
Starting point is 00:55:52 They just are tricked out with equipment. So Soviets are somewhat similar, or I mean, kind of a Freudian slip, but the Russians are using Soviet-ish equipment. Of course, North Korea and China use a lot of Soviet hand-me-downs, but maybe it's gonna go the other way now where china designs in conjunction with russia some of these systems i don't know what do you think you think they will collaborate with each other in that regard if you're a major power producing arms how do you not use ukraine as a test bed
Starting point is 00:56:20 that's true too for sure these drones, that's a huge whole new thing. Ammunition, smart munitions, there's a lot of Chinese tech that clearly is going to be available to the Russians with the caveat that
Starting point is 00:56:38 the results of those weapons are well measured and well studied. I don't know if those countries are naturally enemies or allies. They're both great powers, right? They're both different poles in the world political system. And certainly from 1950 when the communists took China through the mid-60s, they were allied. And we could see a phase of that again.
Starting point is 00:57:13 They could easily ally for some period of time as they confront the West. And Iran has a fair amount of people, a fair amount of money and technology, so it'd be kind of a nice third wheel there. Good stuff. We've only got about a minute left. Anything else you want to get off your chest before we end this episode of Patriot Power Hour? North Korea's in on that game too. Yep.
Starting point is 00:57:42 Yeah. too yeah yeah so who's who's in the West is is and isn't you know arming Israel or the Middle Eastern states at this point they're the Gulf states we're gonna we're gonna make that a project I think and you know try to try to turn it into what what what does that mean to look out for when you hear different breaking news that's surprising? Know the background on who's supporting who first. I really like it.
Starting point is 00:58:10 I think that's smart. I think you and I combined could really do that analysis quite well. We're not the Rand Corporation over here, but we could do something. Good stuff, Future Dan. We can read what they wrote on our radio show. Exactly. Exactly. Well, shout-out again to Sloan coming in, listening live, a little bit of chat.
Starting point is 00:58:32 Hopefully next week we'll get another chatter. Feel free to come through. But we'll be live next week, Wednesday, the 22nd of May. God willing, Future Dan. And we'll cover all the news and events between now and then. And keep up the analysis, sir. Honor doing the show with you, Ben. Thank you. I am paying for this microphone.
