Starting point is 00:01:22 What do you want? Banksters here. Guess what it is? It? Is it put this on your action item list? You decide your love, love and power hour. We had a snafu with the audio there. I swear I had it good, but it reset itself. Anyway, it is episode three hundred and three of the page for power hour. Ben, the breaker banksters here.
Starting point is 00:01:42 April 29th, 2025, We're gonna go through the news blitz as always. But if you've been paying attention on Pepper Broadcast and Network, you might see or heard, I guess more appropriately, but we're visual now as well. And by the way, I am gonna have a video presentation today. So go back to rumble. If you're listening to this on the podcast, go back to rumble and watch and pretty much participate in and watch the video presentation I'm gonna have here in a few minutes. But anyway, Rationer Ruin has been talked about a bit here on Prepper Broadcasting Network, Tripit Commander and others participating and well today I'm going to go ahead and give you my plan and also show you an Excel spreadsheet pretty simple but pretty thorough to track my progress and rational ruin as a participant a pretty extreme participant. Here's a hint. I expect to lose between 10 to 11 pounds in a month. Now, if my fishing and trapping and gathering go very well, maybe I'll only lose seven or eight pounds, but I'm gonna lose a lot of weight. I'm
Starting point is 00:02:56 looking forward to that necessarily. But I got a plan. I got a tracking system as well. So we're going to go through that. And of course, the news blitz, you know, I'm gonna go ahead and just start with the news. We'll run through the news blitz. And then the second half of the show, after reviewing some articles and whatnot, we'll go through the rational ruin spreadsheet kind of my strategy as well, a little bit of a strategy. And yeah, but without further ado, let's go ahead and just hit the news because there is a lot going on. Future Dan not here today. We'll be back next week and is fully participating in Ration of Ruin, by the way. So don't worry. Future Dan
Starting point is 00:03:40 will have his kind of plan and his thoughts on Ration of Ruin, which starts up quite soon But he's not gonna be here today. He has been updating future danger comm quite a lot though So we have a lot of news to cover. Let me go ahead and share screen if y'all for those of y'all that are watching on rumble YouTube and X And again, we put the podcast only on Spreaker but you can go back and
Starting point is 00:04:07 check out the archive if you want to see some of this hint hint the J6 footage got some good views on that I got them more we'll want to see that so here's the news bullets looks like we got some comments as well let's take a look good evening fire will forge I know fire will forge is participating in the ration over and I've been hearing some of that commentary. Wife is worried about it. A, I am actually relatively concerned about it. I think I have a good plan.
Starting point is 00:04:33 But number one, I don't want to get sick, like run down my immune system. That's huge. Number two, I don't want to lose a lot of muscle. So those are the two things. The actual pain and suffering of it, I think I can survive. That's half of it. But the other half is how can I use my preps to mitigate the damage to my body? That's how I'm looking at it.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Part of it's suffering. How much can I suffer? And building up to that. But just as much or more is how can I mitigate the suffering with my preps? And I think I got a good plan. We're going to take a look at that. Eating bugs. I don't know if I'll be doing that in a real situation. It might be different, but maybe not a day one. Let's hit this news though.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Let's go ahead and start with the economics. Not much in terms of news articles, only a couple existing home sales, weakest March since great financial crisis. I mean that is important and I've been seeing signs of that around here too where I live. 12 signs that consumers are experiencing far more financial stress than most people realize. Looking at the markets, it's been relatively flat over the last week, so I don't even have to jump too much into it. Oh, I got the paid ad thing here. But Bitcoin's at a decent spot. 94k gold back from 3,500 this time last week, that down quote unquote to 3,300. That's not much of a decrease in my book, but a little bit. The stock market's up a bit,
Starting point is 00:06:11 has had a few consecutive days up, and you know, it certainly hasn't been the catastrophe that a lot of folks have been hoping they could pin on Trump and the tariffs. Then again, the tariffs will take a while to work their way through the system. Won't be easy, but point is, yeah. Well, today, by the way, first hundred days in office, we'll talk and evaluate some of Trump.
Starting point is 00:06:35 First hundred days, we've been doing that every single week though here on Patreon Power Hour. But again, the gold $3,300, oil super low, all considered only 60 bucks. That's because demand, worried about demand, i.e. recession or depression globally, not just here, China in particular. It's hurting us, it's hurting them just as bad or worse. But yeah, Dow back above 40k. I said don't even panic unless it's 35k or below Didn't even get there back up to 40k So that's really economic news not much crazy by the way the fourth column nothing in there nothing in the health or nature So no major storms. No major flooding. No major pandemics. No major bird flus no major storms, no major flooding, no major pandemics, no major bird flus, no major solar flares.
Starting point is 00:07:30 I guess if you lived in Spain or Portugal and your power went out because you're all based on wind power and there was no wind, that could be natural news, but we live in America, so we don't necessarily cover that. don't necessarily cover that. It is interesting. Interesting what happened there though. Yeah, be prepared for power outages for a long time. Let's just say that no matter where you live, especially Europe. Holy cow. Let's move on to geopolitics and security. There's actually a fair amount. Zoom in a little bit. Democratic representative calls on people to threaten Congress, take to the streets. We'll explore that in a couple of these other articles in more detail. Five Chinese students caught spying on National Guard base in Michigan. Foreign black ops confirmed not just suspected and we have four headlines under Indo Pak War starts India
Starting point is 00:08:38 and Pakistan. We you know, we're going to deep dive this entire indicator actually. So, we'll finish this newsitz, but going back, there's some articles, you know, back in 2019 in the archive, you can see this was flaring up a bit in February, 2019. It was pretty bad. It looked like, but since COVID, there's only been a couple articles and one last October. Yeah, only one last October and then here in April 2025 and trust me future Dan is consistent with his news sourcing so it's back
Starting point is 00:09:16 we'll review that a little bit more because again four articles in one week after being dormant essentially for five six years that's something we got to look at so to read those headlines Pakistan warns of active war after India cancels water treaty India and Pakistan trade gunfire and build up militaries after Kashmir terror attack second straight day of that like second straight day of that. And really hopefully this is bluster, but Indian PM as well as others been saying pretty much bring it on. They gave the military the green light to respond.
Starting point is 00:10:00 So tip for tat escalations. It's one of the top regions that have been wargamed into potential nuclear war. Everyone thinks about like, yeah, Ukraine, Korea, Taiwan. Those are the three Iran and Israel. OK, that's for this is like the fifth of the top five. I'm not even say it's the fifth most likely, but if you did like the five flash points of thermonuclear Armageddon for the entire universe or at least Earth
Starting point is 00:10:27 India Pakistan's in that top five so worth watching. I Mean absolutely worth watching and worth prepping as best you can And we'll hit knock into the excuse me well, I'll get right into the liberty and pretty much liberty and justice for all Liberty indicators related to well I like to think of it as like the the Bill of Rights column in a way whether it's you know freedom of speech second amendment whether it's you know freedom of speech, second amendment, whether it's the fifth amendment, heck not having government agents quartered in your home
Starting point is 00:11:11 I think we've even seen that a couple times. I forgot which amendment that is but anyway here we go. This not literally the Bill of Rights column. I'm sure future Dan's cringing but that's how I kind of think of it in a way. So, federal authorities charged two judges for harboring and aiding the evasion of illegal aliens. Oh yeah, I'm sure you guys have seen that last few days. Prey also saw this. Epstein victim dies by suicide weeks after saying she had just days to live. And by the way, several times over the last since pretty much since this info came out, you know, she can't it
Starting point is 00:11:54 came out public that she was a victim. She said she's not suicidal multiple times publicly since she's come out and yeah meanwhile Maxwell Epstein's accomplice appeals case to the US Supreme Court like the gall to appeal when you're scum like her you're appealing I guess lawyers do what lawyers do like someone's representing her. Again, paid a lot. I'd be actually scared to represent her by the way. Probably going to be dead too.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Anyway, Democrat for fundraising targeted for enforcement by POTUS 47. Those are the articles. We'll dive a little deeper. Firewall forge on YouTube. It looks like he's on YouTube again. You guys can can watch on YouTube, Rumble, or X, or all of them. Why not throw a like if you do watch on Prepper Broadcasting Network live stream now here on Stream Yards not just a podcast but a video with chat integrated chat so far with force says we need a lottery for everybody two countries have beef take random citizens with a random event this is the twist I really like here boxing
Starting point is 00:13:26 chess rock-paper-scissors like the event is random so it could be of intellect of a game of intellect could be physical prowess could be random chance that part is kind of random and I I like the random citizens, too. Maybe we'll do like a best out of three, you know, three different citizens. I don't know if I trust three random Americans. The way things are going in this country to beat three random Chinese. That's sad, though, right? I Gosh, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:05 That's a great barometer now that I think of it. Firewall 4 is like, if you're not comfortable that three random people from your country picked did not have a good chance to beat another country, especially if it's like China, you're probably not very confident in your country and it's probably a problem or multiple problems. Make better citizens exactly. So I'll hit on a few of these articles here and we'll jump right into or I'll try at least I'm going to do a little technical switchery as best I can. I'm going to share my screen and show or share my other screen that is and we'll take a look at ration or ruin
Starting point is 00:14:44 preps but first let's hit some of these articles I think economics we've already knocked out we've looked at the prices is what it is home home sales going down is well from the data I've seen it's true number one number two I've been watching real estate for the last five years in certain areas and I've seen a lot more go up for sale I've seen a lot more taking Longer to sell and he's a lot more price cuts now nothing crazy. I'm not seeing 30% price cuts or Decent property staying on the market for like six months or a year, but I live in a pretty
Starting point is 00:15:22 You know not a depressed area, let's say. But I am seeing price cuts, I'm seeing more inventory slowly but surely. But we're seeing articles suggesting that's, other areas especially in areas that led the 2008 financial crisis like Arizona, Florida, Texas, certain areas in those states in particular, but other places too,
Starting point is 00:15:45 but kind of those bubbles, Nevada and Las Vegas, where they like went up in value so much and then they totally collapsed with subprime bubble, like way more than other places. Well, they've recovered past that and are skyrocketing and have been, but now we are seeing 20, 30% price cuts. But those 20, 30% price cuts are still more than COVID prices, so keep it in check.
Starting point is 00:16:13 There's been so much inflation in not only stock market but real estate that 10, 20, 30% cut is not as much as it sounds like. So anyway, I do want to see in particular, this is the most, you know, most actualized, highest grade article of the day so we cannot let this get lost in the shuffle. University of Michigan, which, by the way, is one of the top public universities, and they're one of the rivals of my University Purdue University. We have a lot of national or Chinese nationals that come to Purdue. Definitely a ton in Michigan. Well five Chinese graduates of the University of Michigan. This ain't like community colleges. This is a really really really good school. Only short distance from controversial Chinese battery plant. Well, they are caught spying on a National Guard base.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Conspiracy, making false statements, destroying records during the federal investigation. Destroying records. They weren't going sightseeing and. Got lost and took some selfies on accident. Let's just say that. By the way, this is America's largest U.S. National Guard training facility, it's not just.
Starting point is 00:17:37 An armory like the county armory in a county of 5000 people, it's not that America's largest U.S. National Guard training facility in Grayling, Michigan. The students claim they're there to observe a meteor shower. Their presence coincided with military exercises involving Taiwanese forces. So, hey, what can I say? They're being charged with this. May justice be done. If they truly are innocent. I do feel bad for them. I just feel like it's probably not innocent. I don't want to purge and take out all these innocent folks,
Starting point is 00:18:15 but I got a feeling there is some foreign ops on soil of America and foreign black ops suspected. Let's take a quick look at this indicator on future danger.com the archive. Well, today we got the S HTF level one, but over the last, uh, let's just say since the start of the year, we've had a lot of high level severe or high or shit hits the fan level. Several, you know, pretty much all the way from the election on if not before really yeah
Starting point is 00:18:50 definitely after the election and before the election too so anyway more and more data points any of these data points by themselves especially this one are important but you put them all together and it's like wow there is a systemic attack on America's homeland right now by China and other foreign operatives as well enemies foreign and domestic weather operating foreign or domestic as well. Democratic grip calls for people to threaten Congress, take to the streets. Frederica Wilson, Democrat out of Florida.
Starting point is 00:19:38 And I'm not gonna play it. Definitely don't wanna hear these people. I almost never, almost, never watch cable TV, like MSNBC, CNN, Fox, any of that stuff, because I can't listen to these people actually talk. I can read about this stuff, but I can't listen to it. So when I do listen to radio shows or podcasts and they play, these people actually say this stuff, instead of just reading their quote, I actually have to listen to it, makes me kind do listen to radio shows or podcasts and they play these people actually saying this stuff instead of just reading their quote, I actually have
Starting point is 00:20:06 to listen to it makes me kind of want to puke. So I won't make you do that. But a lot of different Congress, not just people in Congress, but all across the Democratic Party calling for, let's just say stuff that if if I was saying these things back in 2008 when I first got with Ron Paul they would have rested my ass if I said something like that for sure that's kind of how I look at all right oh yes can't forget this one last set articles the Pakistani war what can you do to stop this not much You think it's hard enough to stop for you as an individual prepper and citizen the United States
Starting point is 00:20:56 To affect and stop the Ukrainian war that's freaking tough. You think you're gonna be able to stop the Indian and Pakistani war Okay, some things in this world we just can't directly affect very much if at all. But what can you affect? You're prepared as plans and having a good relationship with your family, friends and God would be also imperative. And kiss your ass goodbye I guess. Otherwise if there's a full- on thermonuclear war, but we do track Indian Pakistani war because the knock on effects to America, because both of these are heavily nuclearized countries. That's the difference.
Starting point is 00:21:38 This was, uh, Columbia versus what borders Columbia, like Boliviaivia if like Bolivia and Columbia We're going at war. We would not be talking about it right now This again a top five Flashpoint for global thermonuclear war India and Pakistan. They're shooting at each other across the border hopefully Cooler heads will prevail Keep on prepping. And the Epstein stuff, I'll say this, if we're going to time out Trump 100 days,
Starting point is 00:22:15 we need to see more now legally and lawfully brought up on charges. And hopefully they're working on those cases and it takes months maybe even years but they need to expedite it but we need to see heads a-rollin legally and lawfully for Epstein and for a lot of these other child trafficking and corruption it's bad enough if you're like a Bernie Madoff type or you're scamming money from an NGO, USAID, or climate change scam, climate green fund, crap like that, scamming billions of dollars, like that's hurting people. Like you're actually killing people in the aggregate by corrupting society like that.
Starting point is 00:23:02 You are, you're a murderer in my book, but that's financial. You're like a killer by bookkeeping but in real world it kills people but you know when you're actually harming people in real life especially children and you're smuggling them or even worse with Epstein like you tell me no one's going to jail not even one celebrity got caught up enough i mean p daddy is about as close as gotten but that's still far away from Epstein even though it's probably in a same web i'm sure anyway i wasn't expecting Bill Gates or Bill Clinton to get you know taken out by the Epstein
Starting point is 00:23:46 release or something by the Trump administration, but at least a level or two below, can we get like a B list actor? Like that was good friends with Tom Hanks, but not Tom Hanks. And we at least get that. So that part of the Trump scorecard still TBD because I know it takes a long time for them to work through it but holy cow let's get some more. People need to be going to jail man for real. So anyway I think oh federal authorities charging the two judges we did talk about that or no we did not talk about that yet it did happen a few days ago I guess Friday time flies today is Tuesday April 29th
Starting point is 00:24:30 but those two judges arrested ooh look at that yikes I don't even look at them necessarily because it makes me Bias against them because I can just see that they're bad people usually My intuition, but I don't I'd rather just like judge XYZ Did ABC and I can be like, okay. Do I agree with ABC or not? I Don't want to be biased by looking at their ugly mug but uh there's the other judge Joel Cano and his wife Nancy harboring members of a Venezuelan gang nice people nice people real nice people. Firewolf Force is not anyone disappointed. I know. Come on. You think by day 200 at least a B-list actor or actress will be at least charged with
Starting point is 00:25:41 some sort of child trafficking? Like we haven't even seen a remember Harvey Weinstein remember Harvey That was way bigger busts and more people busted than this what the hell you know anyway, that is a disappointment And Back to oh, yeah, there's other judge. Yep, yep, good guy, good guy. So let's go ahead, if I can actually transition well. I think I hit all the main articles. Let's see. Yep. This is about an average news blitz, I think. A couple serious high grade articles, a couple topical, a couple in between. Nothing in the health or natural indicators is kind of an oddity. You usually see that. Remember when COVID hit, it had to be four
Starting point is 00:26:41 straight years where there was just at least five articles every single week, but not right now Not even a reddit mods been caught up fire wolf that Sometimes the absence of evidence is evidence itself. I don't think that holds up in the court a lot But like I don't know sometimes I think of it this way. This is super nerdy I don't know, sometimes, I think of it this way, this is super nerdy, and I'm not actually an astronomer or anything, but sometimes they can, by measuring that something is not there,
Starting point is 00:27:14 they can then infer that something is over there, next to it instead. It's like the lack of something, the lack of signal proves something just because if nothing's happening there's a reason nothing's happening is how to break it down I guess my astronomy analogy was horrible sounded so good in my brain all right right, let's try to transition. This will be rational ruin, Bankster breaker style. Again, rational runes is going to be a four week, 28 day exercise
Starting point is 00:27:54 where we will have a minimal rations and we will have the ability to forage and hunt legally and lawfully. Can't just go shoot a deer out of deer season for example not gonna do it in a real situation I would like if stuff was really hitting the fan let's just say hunting regulations would be last my worries let me try to share the screen here before I ramble too much hopefully you guys can see this. I tested it before, so I think you can. That's what, you know, there's a lot of reasons like having featured Dan on the show, but
Starting point is 00:28:34 if only that I know that I'm coming through to everybody. So shout out to Firewood Forge for interacting with me today. That way I know my audio is actually working. Sometimes, like the biggest paranoid thing about radio host is, am I muted right now? So, okay. Hopefully you can see this. I'm not going to go deep into this. It looks complicated, but I promise you it's not. By the way, I can make this spreadsheet, the template of it available to anybody. Whether that's you,, Wufford, or anybody listening to this,
Starting point is 00:29:06 look in the description of this podcast or wherever you're listening or watching this. You'll see my Twitter as well as my email. You reach out to me and say, hey, send me that Excel file. I could do it. Otherwise, you could easily make your own equivalent either simpler than this
Starting point is 00:29:23 or have fun programming it yourself. It's pretty straightforward though. So let me see if this actually works. Five by five Firewolf says hell yeah let's get this globalist news off of this screen. I'm on a different screen right here and then some. Alright so again I'll try not to be nerdy I'll try to go fast. This table right here is simply every meal that you eat. So normally you would have two, three, maybe four rows a day. For example, these are made up, but let's say for breakfast, I had scrambled eggs, eight eggs fried in butter.
Starting point is 00:30:01 I know I loved it. And then later in the day, I had a chicken salad with some olive oil and then I had some banana chips that were you know long-term storable. Anything that's storable I consider at least one year expiration date. So you can buy storable food at the at the store at the grocery store or of course you could buy the specialized packs like Mountain House or an MRE or whatever. But these banana chips are kind of long term. Again, this is made up, but this is stuff I did eat. And these are pretty close to the actual numbers. So all of these were for April 28th, yesterday.
Starting point is 00:30:40 So these are all individual meals, all with individual calories, fat grams, carb grams, protein. I didn't get into vitamins or any micronutrients. Like, this is enough. You can add comments if you want. I will at some point. Again, this is fake so I can illustrate it, but I'm going to keep this log very detailed for the entire Rationer Ruin, and And we're gonna review it week by week and see how my stats are looking. All right. So on this imaginary April 28th,
Starting point is 00:31:12 I ate all these calories and fats. Now, the best way to sum it up is right on over here. I created a real simple pivot table. You know about Excel at all. You use a pivot table to roll things up. So here's the roll-up. You can see on my screen, April 28th, that day I had 2,154 calories, 130 grams were from fat, 28 from carbs, because I've been mostly keto or almost keto most days and 218 grams of protein because one of those meals was like a pound of steak and it was yummy. So I had tons of protein, minimal carb, almost no sugar, lots of fat, but I had some banana chips, which had a lot of coconut oil. Eggs had a lot of fat. And I cooked the steak with
Starting point is 00:32:01 olive oil. Anyway, that's how this thing works. OK, I just want to show you how this works. Now for today, I haven't eaten yet. This is true. I'm fasting today. So today, April 29, I'm gonna have zero calories, zero fat, zero, zero, zero, no protein shake either. So all zero. That rolls it up to here. April 29, no calories calories, nothing. Now hypothetically, I put some hypothetical ones here, all right. I'm saying tomorrow, hypothetically, I eat a fair amount of food, actually a lot tomorrow, and that translates to 2,700 calories in theory with tons of protein. And then theoretically, I fast the first few days of ration of ruin. I'm going to have now I will be on some of these days having one protein shake that's about 225 calories and about 40 grams of protein.
Starting point is 00:33:00 But not every day that I fast, but some of them. But some days that I fast, I will do a true fast like I'm doing today No food no shake and that's zero calories zero everything. So anyway You know getting past that mechanics of how it all works It summarizes how many total calories how many total grams of fat I had for all those days, right? now how many total grams of fat I had for all those days, right? Now, don't get lost if this gets too complicated. It looks scary, but all that data we just talked about, I'm bringing it in. John Mackley does it in the spreadsheet. I'm bringing it in to this other table that summarizes not only my calories that I ate,
Starting point is 00:33:48 but the calories that I'm burning. Cause I wanna know how many calories are in, how many are out. So, for this table, you only need to do one row per day. So, for yesterday, the 28th, I've calculated that I'm a relatively big guy, a little bit of fat, but I'm, let's say I'm big boned. I played offensive line and defensive line in football in high school. And, you know, even if I was at my absolute best shape, I'd be about 200 pounds. Right now I'm about 220 pounds. So I need more than 2000 calories a day for very basic is my point. Whereas a woman who only weighs 120 pounds in really good shape might only need 1700 calories, right? So there's
Starting point is 00:34:34 some variance. Mine is a little higher. 2350 is what I've calculated. So that's that. Now, additional calorie burn. Yesterday, I did go run the hill hill and that's about 300 calories, about 3 miles, 500 foot change in elevation and I put like a 30-pound pack on, run with the dogs, it's at least 300 calories, probably more. So yesterday I had, I burned 2,350 calories, baseline. I burned an additional 300 calories with exercise. Now most days I'm gonna have zero calories burned on exercise, but so maybe I'll go for a walk some days, and we're gonna go fishing and maybe even do some bike rides as part of rational ruin. So anyway, in theory, yesterday I had a calorie surplus of negative 496. Remember all those calories I calculated a minute or two ago that rolled up into this table? I know a lot of you guys are listening. You can't see this table, but all those calories I rolled up earlier at the
Starting point is 00:35:35 start of this presentation are now compared to the calorie burn I just talked about with the, for me, 2,350 calories baseline. And then if I'm sedentary that day, zero additional calories. If I run the hill or exercise, maybe 100, 200, 300 extra calories burned. You know, if I decided to hike the NBC guy's place, 12-mile hike, a lot of elevation, that'd be like a thousand plus calories. So if I was in a real SHTF situation, I needed to hike to Jones, Dave Jones Homestead and back, I'd have to budget to 3000 calories. That's a lot. Okay, so anyway, these last couple things, these are the last measurements, I promise. Energy levels, I wanna give a subjective, how do I feel in the morning, and how do I feel in the afternoon or evening?
Starting point is 00:36:36 So, a five, you know, between one to five. So yesterday I felt like a five in the morning, I felt like a five in the afternoon, and it's true, I felt great yesterday. Today, had to wake up a little early the morning. I felt like a five in the afternoon. It's true. I felt great yesterday today Had to wake up a little early, but I still felt great four out of five Today, I feel great. Honestly when I fast I usually feel really good the first day or two five out of five then
Starting point is 00:37:02 Hypothetically my energy drought levels were dropping. This is what I'm kind of expecting hypothetically So though I measure those I got to make sure every day I'm kind of expecting hypothetically. So I measure those. I got to make sure every day I'm in the morning and in the evening. How do I feel? One to five, that's it. You could do a whole like 20 page survey on how you feel every day if you wanted to.
Starting point is 00:37:17 We don't want to get that crazy. Wait, what's my morning weight? What's my evening weight? Hey, I weighed myself a lot in my life. I pretty much always weigh less in the morning than in the evening. So if you do one of each each day and you start rolling it up in a spreadsheet, whether it's a spreadsheet or your own homemade spreadsheet, there you go. Finally, again, here's all those calories, fat, carbs and proteins that we talked about earlier. So you put in the meals individually one time and then it rolls that data
Starting point is 00:37:50 across the spreadsheet to a few different places. There we go. Here's just another nifty way to summarize all that data. But what I really want to show you now is called info and assumptions. summarize all that data. But what I really want to show you now, it's called Info and Assumptions. Baseline calories, I put my age, 40 years old, my weight at the start, 226 pounds. I guess I'm about 18% body fat. I really don't know. Lean mass, if I was, would be 185 pounds. Based on a little calculator I found online, lean mass, 185 pounds, baseline metabolism, 2350 calories per day. I just, this is kind of my guesstimate.
Starting point is 00:38:39 All right, let's back up. For ration or ruin, there's only three days you're allowed to eat your rations. And your rations are only 2,000 calories. So on those 3 days that I have rations, my goal is to have about 2,450 calories, which is just a little bit more than my baseline. Or this, again, this is a guesstimate. My point is I'm gonna have about 2,000 calories worth of rations, and then the other 400 calories that I'm gonna have only on my ration days are gonna be some fish oil and pretty much like canned sardines, canned fish, canned cod liver oil. That's what it is. Like, so I'm not gonna, I'm gonna be taking cod liver oil as healthy fat
Starting point is 00:39:34 because let's just say storeable food has no healthy fats in it, which is a huge problem. But I have a lot of canned tuna, but even better canned salmon, but even better for fat purposes canned. You guys should do this by the way, prepper tip get a lot of canned cod liver oil Or you can get cod liver oil. I get actual cod liver. So it's actual liver. It's from like Norway actually tastes really good. I'm not a huge liver guy. But anyway, my point is that has so much great fat for you and it's about three, 400 calories. So I'll have about 2000 calories of freeze dried, you know, rice and soup and crap. That's all sodium and carbs.
Starting point is 00:40:18 But on those days, I will also have one can of that canned fish and oil and all that three or 400 calories all is good and by the way that the Cod Liver has no protein or carbs. So it's actually all fat Whereas canned salmon and other fish has a lot of protein So I'm not really even getting more protein from this. It's all about the healthy fat. So that's one thing I'm doing. On the fasting days, which are the four other days of the week, I will be this is actually these numbers were
Starting point is 00:40:56 wrong. I got to recalculate it. I made the wrong numbers. I will be having one protein shake that's about 227 calories, 225 I believe it says on the bottle, a day. So that'll give me 42 grams of protein. And this is pretty much just so I get a little bit of protein. I'm going to burn muscle. Actually, this is a perfect segue. Estimated weight loss. Now I screwed up. I made this a 30 day challenge when really it's 28. So I got to knock this one down to 4, 8, 12, 16. No, this is that it's this one that's wrong, right? 30, 20. There we go. Ah, my numbers were off. There we go. Okay. Okay, I'm expecting to lose like nine or ten pounds not eleven pounds. So that makes a difference It's still a lot of weight though. I have a little bit of fat We talked about this on page your power hour last year and I've talked about it as well. I've practiced fasting The longest I've gone is about a hundred and ten hours and it couldn't make it to 120 but I've done I've only done that once but I've done several about 110 hours and I couldn't make it to 120 but I've done I've only done that once
Starting point is 00:42:06 but I've done several 72 hour fasts and like 30 or 40 48 hour fasts so anyway I think I'll be okay with with that part of it we'll find out but uh anyway on my my eating days, not my eatings day, on my eating days, I'm gonna have about, over this 28 day period, okay? Over this entire challenge, I'm going to ingest on those eating days, 29,400 calories from the fish oil, as well as from mostly the storable food. On the fasting days, the fish oil as well as from mostly the storable food.
Starting point is 00:42:48 On the fasting days, this is just from the protein shake by the way, I'm gonna have 3,600 calories. That's 16 days. So 3,600 calories, which most Americans eat in one day, that's gonna be 16 days. Ouch. Now on these fasting days, if I catch a bunch of fish, I can eat that. So I'm hoping to catch some fish on a few of these fasting days and get 500 or 1000 calories of protein and good fat from actual fish. but my you know kind of mid case or kind of like if things don't go well and I don't really catch any fish I could lose nine plus pounds in this game you don't
Starting point is 00:43:31 want to lose weight because we're preppers right you don't want to lose weight if stuff hits the fan you want to keep your weight it's mostly obviously don't be flabby but yeah you don't want to be burning all your calories this is only one month. Imagine the power's out for six months and you're on your rations for six months. Before you know it, you're losing 50 pounds. People do that.
Starting point is 00:43:53 I mean, it's not great for you, but the Gulag and concentration camps, people lose 50, 60, 80 pounds and they die eventually. They can keep you alive with much less calories than we're doing now It's kind of what I'm gonna tell myself and I'm gonna dark places This isn't even that bad if I was in a FEMA prison camp right now. I'd be a lot worse than this Another head I don't want to like totally nuke myself. So again I have a little bit of calories mostly protein on those off days. Oh a
Starting point is 00:44:27 to have a little bit of calories, mostly protein, on those off days. A couple other things I'm gonna do here. Let me get, let me check out chat here real quick. Sloan6, what's happened in Sloan? Do you get hangry? You know what? That's a great question. I've found that if I start, if I eat that day, like let's say, how do I explain this? If I go all day without eating, I might get a little bit grumpy, but not too bad. If I eat in the morning and don't eat it all the rest of the day, then I get grumpy at night because I already ate, I kind of broke the seal.
Starting point is 00:45:04 Remember in college, they're like, don't break the seal seal for me personally. I don't know if this is true for everybody Or you know every individual is different but When I break the seal eating then I want to eat more and if I don't I get a little annoyed Now that's on like a one day two day three day period now when i'm on like day 20 I'm like, I'm annoyed. Now, 748 Eastern right now Where I'm at and I'll probably eat between like six to nine or maybe six thirty to ten so I'm gonna eat all my meals and Be happy and then go to sleep
Starting point is 00:46:00 Because by the way when you when you're hungry if you can sleep Sleepy is the best thing like when I'm fasting sleep is your friend. But again, sometimes you wake up and you're like, oh, your body's like, oh, I didn't have to digest 3000 calories yesterday. I feel great. Wake up. And you're like, well, I wanna sleep because it makes time go faster
Starting point is 00:46:17 because I don't have any food. So good luck. That mind game, I'm telling you, the mind games is half the battle. So what else will I do that you consider it cheating, but I do not consider this cheating actually Let me get back to the chat. I love you guys are participating in chat can't ignore you I'm not trying to your problems back to fire will Ford she says Vitamin pills yes, I will be doing multivitamin so you already beat me to punch there
Starting point is 00:46:44 You have a little bit more fat percents for and a little bit older, but you just plug and play with your stats. I know I need it, I'll pretty much get it to you or you can just use it right off here, but I think that's pretty similar. And again, the tooth that... imagine you're actually... and this is actually gives some... and I'm bouncing a lot of the place guys... But there's some leeway with this column, additional calories burned. That's why I put it there. If you are chopping wood all day long, because power's out and it's freezing, for example, you might put 600 calories there. If you go on a hike or you're bugging out. Imagine you're bugging out or I don't know. Point is you can put a lot of extra calories in there and it'll really affect.
Starting point is 00:47:30 I know if stuff was really hitting the fan, I probably wouldn't be sitting around the whole day watching Netflix, right? Like I would be, I don't know what I'd be doing, but it'd be taking calories or I'd have to make sure it didn't. It's like we purposefully use these calories, but I would be doing stuff but it'd be taking calories or I'd have to make sure it didn't. You know, it's like, we purposefully use these calories, but I would be doing stuff if the lights were out for multiple days, even though, hey, maybe
Starting point is 00:47:51 I should be conserving my calories. I also need to be doing things to further my survival. So anyway, there will be a couple challenges we do that burn 500 to 1000 calories, then we're really gonna be feeling like crap, let me tell you. So, 504 says fish oils, belch. I will say this, I only eat fish oil when I eat other food with it. And also there's certain types that have less fishy taste to it. Some of them are really nasty burps. The ones I got, and actually the cod liver I have have I don't really get too much but yeah don't kiss your wife or girlfriend or husband or boyfriend or whatever how don't even keep that your dog will love the smell so actually sometimes I'll pour a little bit of the oil into their kibble or other food and the dogs love so butter yes fire before I eat a lot of butter as well. But I'm not going to use butter. Okay, here's a distinction and this is, let's get back.
Starting point is 00:48:55 Again, I know I'm bouncing all over the place. I am taking supplements, but I'm only supplementing with things that are shelf stable. Long-term shelf stable, one plus year. I'm gonna hold myself to that if at all possible. And these are things that I have purchased and put in my storage before this year. Like everything I'm gonna supplement with the multivitamins, vitamin D, electrolyte, the protein shakes, the cod liver and oil. I bought all that stuff in 2024 or even earlier. I think all most of it in 2024 but maybe some in 2023 because like the multivitamins that I'm still working through and I rotate my prepper pantry, the stuff will last like two years, three years and in a pinch it would last a lot longer. Shelf stable powder for multivitamin. The vitamin D
Starting point is 00:49:41 maybe not as long but it was still last probably about a year. The electrolyte would last three plus years. These protein shakes last six months to a year. They're shelf stable, pre-packaged, but you can also get, obviously, protein powder, make your own shakes. I'm not doing that in this case. These protein shakes expire in like six months,
Starting point is 00:50:01 not one year, so that's a weakness there, but I'm just still gonna use them probably. But you can get shelf stable protein powder to last a year or two. And yeah, the canned fish and cod liver and stuff, that lasts like three, four years. What doesn't? Butter. Butter won't keep. But what would, and you can substitute with potentially coconut oil. I have a lot of coconut oil in my prepper pantry, olive oil. So anyway, these are some supplements, but they're all gonna be supplemental things that are already part of my prepper pantry olive oil so anyway these are some supplements but they're all gonna be supplemental things that are already part of my prepper plans pretty much now what sucks for me is I don't have a garden and I'm renting a
Starting point is 00:50:42 place right now and I'm really close to buying a homestead but I'm waiting I'm renting a place right now and I'm really close to buying a homestead, but I'm waiting I'm building up my down payment plus also hoping prices go down a little can't wait forever Anyway, well, I like where I live a lot But there's just such a huge forest canopy. I don't get direct sunlight during the summer and I'm also on the kind of on the southern or not southern more like western side of the mountain. So I don't get great direct sun. Can't grow tomatoes. I can grow a little bit of stuff and I do but not much. Point is I love gardening and I've done it a lot at other places I've lived. I don't have a salad to supplement with
Starting point is 00:51:25 I don't have a bunch of tomatoes not necessarily those would be ready right now in the middle of May But I know NBC guy for sure, but that definitely in traffic commander as well. Both of them got great gardens almost year-round So they're gonna supplement some with those fresh greens. That's something I really wish I could supplement with. I'm not going to cheat and like eat a salad every week or something. I, you know, that's one of the hardest things for me is I've turned my diet around the last five to 10 years. Definitely the last 10, but even the last five, I've improved my diet so much.
Starting point is 00:52:00 For when I was, when I was like, you know, 15, 20, 25, I never eat processed food anymore. I never eat all this crap. And for a whole month, I'm not gonna have any salads. Like I feel like I'm gonna die, but I'll be all right. Anyway, that's that. Oh, and that goes, you know, finally though, potential supplements, kefir, sauerkraut, probiotics. I think I will eat some of those.
Starting point is 00:52:23 I do have some of those. And those keep for a while. Not the Kieffer. Not, Kieffer will keep like 3 or 4 months, though. The sauerkraut, that's, you know, once you open it, you got to eat it pretty quick. I don't have any probiotic supplements. I am worried about my guts getting all jacked up from eating all these carbs, because tons of, I don't have it here. I don't have like an inventory of the food, but trust me, it's like all starches, all high sodium, probably tons of GMO and stuff, gonna mess me up. So I'm gonna probably have to eat some sauerkraut.
Starting point is 00:52:59 I don't know, we'll see. Sloan says, I'm always angry It's all about your blood sugar levels if you can keep a low You know, it's all about insulin resistance and blood sugar won't go down a diatribe But if your blood sugar is going up and down and up and down you get more hangry So that's the key How long term are the shakes fire wolf asked that actually so you're already you're ahead of the game you asked these questions I missed it on chat and I already covered it, but you asked before I covered it. So you're on top of it my man The shakes the ones I got were like they expire in October
Starting point is 00:53:43 This early October and it's pretty much like I got them in the middle of. The shakes I got this year, I got them like six weeks ago, but not for rational ruin, I just got them. And they last, I think they last like five months, six months, maybe. I would not want to eat, wanna eat, press the expiration date on those shakes. Let's see, what else we got? But yeah, like getting woken up from a nap
Starting point is 00:54:16 you're not done with, that's what it's like. It's like, and I've done this before, not a long-term strategy though, is if I can only sleep like two or three hours, I just don't sleep. Just power through the whole day, stay up like 34 hours, and then just sleep 12 hours,
Starting point is 00:54:34 and then hopefully you'll be back on schedule. Especially if you got bad jet lag. If you gotta travel like four, five, six plus time zones, when you're flying back to America or whatever, just stay up for like 30, 35, 40 hours. You're gonna be a zombie, but just do it and then just sleep 12 hours, two days in a row. You'll be cured.
Starting point is 00:54:57 At least I am. Because if I just try to sleep a few hours or I'm like all jacked up from jet lag, I'm gonna be way worse than if I just didn't sleep. That only works for like a couple of days. Same thing. That's why I'm going to test out these strategies. I've done some fasting, but I've never done like a month long one where.
Starting point is 00:55:14 Yeah. There's a few times a week where you can eat, but it's really just like a long fast with a couple of small breaks in it. If you look at the big time calories. Last thing I made some cool graphs. They're not as cool as they will be when it's all like said and done but I swear guys this will look really cool with the real data after I got 28 days plus of data. This graph right here it's the calorie deficit so obviously red means deficit green means surplus. Remember on this day, April 30th, which is tomorrow. So hypothetically, I was gonna have more calories than I burned, so I was gonna have a 423 calorie surplus, but all these
Starting point is 00:55:58 other days it was a negative, you know, deficit, of course. So when I have a lot of data points on this it'll be pretty cool to see how that turns out. Here's some weights. Now these are similar but again hypothetical weight. Pretended that I waited in the morning and the evening each of these days. Again this will go all the way through the end of Rationer Ruin at the end of May. Here's the graph. It already looks pretty cool, right? So the orange is my evening weight over time. And the blue is my morning weight.
Starting point is 00:56:35 Again, I don't know about you, I usually weigh a couple pounds less in the morning before I eat and before I drink a lot of water and coffee and stuff. But even if I drink a bunch of water and coffee, if I didn't eat, I'm usually at least less than the night before. So anyway, that'll be interesting. See how that works. It'll be very up and down and up and down and up and down. But I'm, you know, with the calorie deficit I'm going through, I'm expecting to lose minimum five pounds consistently. I might even run some regressions for you guys. Maybe I'll crack open my old basic statistics and find out some standard deviations and all types of fun regressions and R squared and all this other crap.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Probably not necessary, but was this spreadsheet necessary? regressions and R squared and all this other crap. Probably not necessary, but was this spreadsheet necessary? Probably not either, but it's pretty cool looking. It's gonna be really useful. And I'm probably gonna parlay this until like an actual tracker for my life go forward. And I'm not trying to kill myself with starvation and malnutrition.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Last one, I think of the graphs. No, two more graphs real quick. And it's based off this table to the left, my energy ratings. So in theory, from 1 to 5 is the orange is the afternoon or the evening, blue is the morning. I'm not a morning person. I'm almost always feeling worse in the morning than the evening. Just I guess I'm lazy. But that'll be, you know, again these are hypothetical numbers, but I'm gonna be as fair and accurate as I can when I record these. So we'll see if my energy levels kind of average, you know, the first week maybe my energy levels will average a 4.2, then it drops to a 3.8,
Starting point is 00:58:25 then it drops to a 2.2 and I'm really hurting. Then maybe in that fourth week, it goes up to a three because I'm kind of used to it. Or maybe it goes up to a three because I'm eating Dave Jones's freeze dried food and it's way better quality than the other stuff. That might be part of it. We're leaving his for last because we think it's gonna be the best last one protein protein protein this is in particular for a future Dan but really anybody doesn't want to lose a lot of doesn't want to lose a lot of muscle no matter what, especially if stuff's hitting the fan. So for me, I made a goal of 150 grams of protein per day. Now, a lot of days, especially when I run the
Starting point is 00:59:18 Hiller lift weights, I want more like 200 or 250 grams of protein, right? But guess what? Today I'm not eating at all, and this is a real number for today. I'm having zero grams of protein today. That puts me in a 150-gram protein deficit for today. Now tomorrow I'll eat a lot, but it won't make up for all of it. But look at May. Even with the protein shake of like 42 grams of protein, I'm going to be having 100-gram protein deficit. Then another day of 100-gram and then another day. And most days, even with the protein shake and the days that I'm eating the supplemental food or a storable food, it doesn't have that much protein. I might get like 50 grams of protein from the storable food and 40 from the shake. So I might be at 90. But again, my goal is 150. So my best day I might be at 90 grams of protein. My worst day is I could be at zero or maybe 40. I'm gonna be burning muscle. It's gonna be bad. Now I better be good at fishing. At least one day a week I'm hoping I hit 150 grams of protein because I have a pound of
Starting point is 01:00:32 fish flesh, cooked flesh, 16 ounces of cooked fish. If I can get that once a week, which would be two or three fish, decent sized fish, not a huge fish. If I not a huge fish if I get a huge fish I'd be awesome I'm being some catfish some big old catfish I'll be fine with that I need to get my 150 grams of protein so anyway the 150 grams is kind of baseline what I want for my real life minimum like red alert is 100 grams or less protein like Like I know I'm burning muscle, even if I'm sitting on my ass all day.
Starting point is 01:01:09 So again, that's why I'm having a protein shake most days because I at least need to get like 40 grams. Cause if I go a whole month with zero, if 16 out of the 28 days I have zero protein, I'm not gonna die, but not a good idea. Just not a great idea. So anyway, that's it. There you go.
Starting point is 01:01:29 I hope you guys enjoyed the nerd, the nerd in me. I am the Bankster Breaker. I do love spreadsheets. I hope you all enjoyed. James Walden's in the house. The graphs make it fire with forge. This is my question. Should I start with the graphs and make everyone like all the graphs are so cool or end?
Starting point is 01:01:47 With a bang at the end, you know, like this all leads up to the graphs really Maybe I should have shown everyone the graphs and be like look how cool they are and then let me show you the guts But I wanted to show I like to show the guts first, but you know the reason I wanted to show the guts is because you guys can follow along and do it yourself or you know I'll do this I am gonna send this to you intrepid commander I'm gonna send it to NBC guys they just want to take a look at it I'm gonna send it of course to future Dan and any of you out there that want to hit me up on Twitter or X, Bankster Breaker on X, and or my email, I believe both my X
Starting point is 01:02:30 handle as well as email are in the description of this podcast, reach out to me, I'll send you this file, I have a few more tweaks I want to do. But I can pretty much delete just a little bit of this data, but keep some of the formulas and you can literally just add pretty much you you need to, this is what you need to do if you wanted to make this work for you. And again, you don't have to do this. You could just use pencil and paper and keep it even simpler than this. I often do that, but this is a good reason to do this.
Starting point is 01:03:00 What you need to do, what you need to be responsible for as a grown adult, you need to do, what you need to be responsible for as a grown adult. You need to accurately charge everything or track everything you eat. That's a pain in the ass. That's like the most annoying thing about dieting and tracking things. I, I don't even track much in my normal life, honestly. I feel it out at this point. I'm so in tune with my body. But guess what? The one good thing about fasting is you only have to put one thing in. Fast! I fasted today, or I had fasted and I had a shake today, and that's it! But if you do eat a bunch of stuff, you know, you got to keep track of it. Keep track of the portions and the calories. Pain in the ass. So if you fill out this orange little table here, or pink or whatever color it is,
Starting point is 01:03:47 all you gotta do is fill out that info. Everything else auto-populates. This part auto-populates. This part auto-populates. All the calories, fat, and carbs, protein auto-populates from what you just entered, so you don't have to do it twice. You do, as a responsible adult, need to track your energy in the morning and your
Starting point is 01:04:05 track energy in the afternoon, as well as your weight in the afternoon and the evening. The rest of this will calculate itself. It'll, well, once you set your baseline calories, it'll pull that into there for each day. Your additional calorie burn, I'll have it as zero as default, but if you just put in a number, it'll automatically track. And this calorie surplus of deficit automatically calculates. It takes your baseline calories and that, bam, automatically calculates. So why do a pencil and paper and do math by hand when you can have a spreadsheet do it? And when you had me create the spreadsheet for you you can get your own cool graphs anyway that's about all I got for the day folks I'll definitely be looking on my email and looking at Twitter X for anybody who requests this spreadsheet. I'll send it out to the guys and
Starting point is 01:05:07 Let's see, let me double check The other chat I didn't miss it on that. I Like the sound of it wolf I will do it for sure Two and a half miles of up and down the ladder legs feel good. I went to work for my workout. Exactly. Well, that's a great point. I'm going to be working my normal job this whole time and everybody else will too. Now I'm a desk worker. So my biggest calories is picking up the phone and yelling at someone. I'm a very nice and professional worker. But yeah, I don't I don't burn any calories working. But a lot of people burn several hundred calories a day, just working. So you need to add that in. You need to take account for that for sure.
Starting point is 01:05:53 So what's a light? Oh, where's my lightning address? Holy cow. Fire will forge. Let me, I'll get you that. Send me the request through the you know X or email or whatever all the respond with a lightning address you don't have to send me any sats but I do appreciate that that's awesome I didn't know you're
Starting point is 01:06:14 that into Bitcoin holy cow holy cow I don't have my bit my lightning address on a hand like to just throw it at you I don't even want you to send to me any sats unless you just really want to to strengthen the Bitcoin network Then I'll take a few but now that's awesome. I do like that And fire wolf this seems like something I will add to the prepper fit and health side exactly perfect James I was actually thinking like I'm gonna use this for my own purposes after rationing ruin. And all of you are free to use this. This literally took me I'd say, half an hour yesterday and about an hour today. So 90 minutes of my time, a little bit of time, free use, use it for PBN, use it for PrepperFit. Definitely use it for yourself. Totally use it for yourself
Starting point is 01:07:09 Totally we use for stuff. That's not rational and you could add stuff to it, too You know a little bit about Excel you could totally add additional shit But that's about as complicated as I want to get I'm like, alright That's already good enough All right, folks PBN families no joke. I agree Love being here guys. I agree. Love being here. Guys, I gotta get out of here. It's been a great show.
Starting point is 01:07:28 The news was interesting. The rational ruin, I'm pumped up for it. And that's about all I got to say for the night. Oh my gosh, I'm a little nervous, a little excited. Looking forward to getting done with it. But also, I'm looking forward to losing a little weight. It's a challenge all around. It's a challenge all around. I'm trying to mitigate the damage, though. So I need to hunt and trap and fish legally and lawfully. Like, there's no motivation like that to go fishing, let me tell you.
Starting point is 01:08:04 All right, guys, I'll catch you later. I'm out of here. Future Dan and I will be back next week and we'll be talking about Ration of Ruin.
