Starting point is 00:01:05 It's pretty cool. But then again, it's nerve wracking. When you talk into a mic multiple times a week to, you know, thousands of people, it's like you get used to it, right? And I always forget. It's really weird. It's really weird the first time you hear your voice. So big stuff. Memorial Day weekend. A lot of weird. Let's start with the good things. The World of Ready Kindle version free starting tomorrow. Free starting tomorrow. Kindle version. Go to Amazon. The World of Ready. Put it on your device. Give me a review. Yada, yada, yada. That's how you kick
Starting point is 00:01:56 off a Memorial Day weekend, by the way. The Murph, the Murph, the the MRF into the MRF so listen I have been on Prepper Fitness our membership side has an entire collection of videos titled Prepper Fit and Health I've been a strong advocate for fitness in the prepping community even when it used to be you just get lambasted for it you know that nobody wanted to hear it it's changed a lot it's changed a lot fitness is tough requires consistency that's where people suffer
Starting point is 00:02:38 you know if you can get your head out of the idea that fitness is this thing you're going to do for six months to look good for this event or to whatever, if you can build into—I always talk about prepping as a lifestyle. not about crushing the weight seven days a week, but about being physically active and appreciating your cardiovascular health, your endurance, and your strength, then it just becomes a part of life. You know, I am never really that impressed by the guy who is... There's nothing wrong with it.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Like, I love to see strong people. When I go to the gym, I love to see strong people walking around go to the gym i love to see strong people walking around the gym i just love it i love strong americans healthy americans i just it's just one of those things you know to me it's like you look at the population as a whole and you know that the this segment of the population exists in there and it's good it's a good feeling you want to see young strong men in your country. You know what I mean? However, the people who really impress me are the guys who have been physically active, physically fit, dominating for 30 years, 40 years.
Starting point is 00:04:05 People who are in their 50s, people who are in their 40s who have been fit since forever. You know what I mean? They didn't, or maybe they took a short break and then hopped back on the horse, whatever. To me, the most important thing and the most impressive thing when it comes to physical fitness is not how much weight you can lift and not how far you can run, but it's about how long you can do those things in your life. Like, not your today endurance, but your, you know, your lifetime endurance of physical fitness. That's really what impresses me. It's like that with everything, too. You know, you are what you do every day. That's why that quote exists in my life.
Starting point is 00:04:46 You are what you do every day because I look at people that way. You know, I try to get a read on a person. I want to hear what it is they do all the time and have been doing for decades. Because that lets me know what you're really all about. That lets you know what a person is really good at, what they're really into. No matter what they say, that lets you know what they're into. You know? Like it's one of, like comic books.
Starting point is 00:05:14 You know what I mean? I read comic books as a kid, then I took a long break off of comic books, then I got back into reading comic books 10 years ago, maybe something like that. And you get to a point where it's like, okay, so you're a comic book guy. Not because you say you're—like, I don't go out in the streets and be like, I read comics, man. I'm one of them. You know what I mean? You just—it's something that you do.
Starting point is 00:05:43 You are what you do every day. I don't read comics every day, but, you know, often, many times a week. So, you know, it's just part of that deal. Anyway, the Murph. Try it. Just try it. Just try it. It's hard.
Starting point is 00:05:59 Some of you will be able to finish. Some of you won't. Just try it. I read to you this story about the Murph, didn't I? Pretty sure I did. He's part of the Lone Survivor group. If you saw the Lone Survivor movie, if you know Marcus Luttrell, you know, it's no joke. Lieutenant Murphy was a man who, I mean, as far as I know from reading the story, I didn't ever actually see the Lone Survivor movie.
Starting point is 00:06:30 But as far as reading about the accounts, he's a guy who had to put a call. He had a job to do, and his job was to put a call in for somebody to come rescue his team who had been ambushed in the mountains of Afghanistan. And it cost him everything. You know, while he was putting the call through, he was getting shot. He basically left cover, the cover that him and his, you know,
Starting point is 00:06:53 team were under incredible fire, and he left the cover to get to a higher ground to put that call out. And, you know, fundamentally, the call went through, but it cost him his life. It's a valiant thing. So the Murph is a way to honor his sacrifice and really all the bravery of wartime and fundamentally the idea of your life,
Starting point is 00:07:23 putting your life behind the lives of others, which is wild. I mean, it's always something commendable. So the MRF is a fitness challenge. And it exists because sometimes to honor things like that, suffering is a great way to do it. You know what I mean? Everybody's like, I'm not doing it. So the Murph is straightforward, man. You run, and you're supposed to do it on Memorial Day.
Starting point is 00:08:00 You run a mile. Then you do 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and then you run another mile. And you're supposed to do it all with body armor on or a 20-pound weighted vest. I did the Murph for the first time last year. I didn't need to do the vest. I don't have a weighted vest,
Starting point is 00:08:24 and I'm not running through my neighborhood with body armor on. So that is what it is. I might get crazy over the weekend and go to Walmart and buy a weighted vest real quick and get, you know, wild about it. Who knows? Because I did it last year and it was kind of tough, but I've completed it. So it's probably time to step the game up a little. So, then again, I could just get a belt. Well, but that wouldn't help with the push-ups. Anyway, sounds like a lot. Okay, I want to talk to you about it real quick.
Starting point is 00:08:57 I might have already had this conversation with you, but whatever. To execute on the MRF, first of all, you should be able to run a mile. If you can't run a mile, start running. So the first mile, no big deal, right? Finish your one-mile run. You might be a little out of breath. Who knows? Take a short break, drink some water,
Starting point is 00:09:16 and then it's time to get down to the calisthenics, all right? And what I love about the MRF for people who don't work out a lot is even if you don't complete it, you're going to do more of these exercises probably than you've ever done in one time. So you will at least have that to sit on, right? You'll have that to sit on and say, well, I know I can do X, Y, and Z. The way I did it was I think I did something like five pull-ups at a time. I pulled a sheet of paper out, and I kept track of it with, you know, tallies. So I did five pull-ups at a time, right?
Starting point is 00:09:57 That's 20 sets. I did, I think I did 10 push-ups at a time, 20 sets. And I knocked the squats out early. I think I did like 20 squats at a time. So I was done squats before I was done the other two. And then that's what I did. I did my five pull-ups, 10 push-ups right after, did my squats, and, you know, kept doing that round robin until I needed breaks, you know. I'm sure probably
Starting point is 00:10:27 around the 60, 70 mark, I was taking more time between sets, you know what I mean? And that's just what you do, and you work through it, and you take your time. If you can't do any more pull-ups, you take a break, you know, take a couple minutes, few minutes, five minutes, ten, whatever it is, and then you finish. And you just finish. You can get through 100 push pull-ups. I'm telling you right now. You know, for the most part. For most of you out there listening.
Starting point is 00:10:55 You might be doing two at a time. You know, but remember, if you do two at a time, you only got to do that 50 times. Sounds crazy. Hey, get the World of Ready on Kindle free. Leave a review. And try the MRF, okay? Try the MRF. Run one mile, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, and 300 squats.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Oh, and then you polish it all off with another mile run at the end. Okay? You could do it. And even if you fail, you at least put that out there on Memorial Day. You at least put that effort in. You at least suffered for the men who gave everything, right? All right. Speaking of warfare.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Let's get into one threat, one solution. This one's a doozy. So a couple of years ago, Carl B. here on the Prepper Broadcasting Network said these railway attacks or these railway incidences look a lot like attacks. These fires in chemical plants and food plants and this plants and that plants look like attacks. And we were so close. I mean, if I could have Carl be on staff rather than have him be just a generous podcast or author who has a full time job and a family to raise, we would have created a full scale documentary on these fires and such. And, you know, maybe one day the Prepper Broadcasting Network can get big enough where I can put hosts on salary. It's hard to even imagine, but you never know.
Starting point is 00:12:53 And, uh, and then we do things like that. Cause we'll do it. We would do things you couldn't even believe. I mean, I don't talk, I try to be humble, you know what I mean? And I think I'm pretty humble. Maybe not. Maybe you're laughing at that. But there's just really, you don't really understand how deranged I am because I can only access so much of it. But the things that we would do if we could get to the point where we were sustaining
Starting point is 00:13:27 with multiple hosts on full time, it would be crazy. Because it's not even just about me. You know what I mean? I don't even know. You don't even know. They don't even know what the hosts are really capable of. You know, Once you take the day job out of the picture and let the host off the leash, dude, you just have no idea what you're going to unleash. And it's a beautiful thing. So anyway, we talked about this a couple of years ago. We talked about these weird things happening. We've seen the barge situation, and all of these things started to ring true as like something's happening. Then we have the pro-Palestinian rioters and the anti-police rioters all attacking public places and saying they're going to shut down economies and all that kind of stuff. Remember Police City?
Starting point is 00:14:23 This one threat, one solution is brought to you by the Grayman briefing. Okay. National Security Brief Summary. Since March, this is wild. These are wild things. Since March, Jordanians, Chinese, and unidentified suspected terrorists have attempted to breach the White House, Quantico, an FBI field office, and two additional U.S. military installations as the government offers no comment to incidents. You remember a lot of these stories, I'm sure. You remember the guy running into the barricades at Quantico.
Starting point is 00:15:02 You remember the guy just a few days ago running into the White House fence? I think he died. I really wonder. Two days after the attempt at Quantico breach, a person crashed into the White House gates and died. Mainstream media is not reporting or following up on these cases. The government is quiet on the targeted action at Quantico, which some claim may be an attempted terror attack by border-crossing illegal alien from the Middle East. Definitely. How, when does a nation decide we're under attack from within and the punishments for these things have to be greater?
Starting point is 00:15:51 What do you think? Will a country ever admit that? Does it matter if a country ever admits that? Huh? Think about it. I mean, imagine fighting a war, but you didn't realize you were fighting a war. Do you think you'd win that war? Imagine fighting a war, but you didn't realize you were in that war. Do you think you would win that war, PBM family? This segment is called
Starting point is 00:16:25 One Threat, One Solution. This is why on our routines, our PBN routines, we do dry fire practice. We do physical fitness. Why? Because it may never happen. There may never be a president that stands before the television and says, we're being attacked and destroyed from within. And we all need to be vigilant or we need to take these actions or we need to increase severity of punishments. May never happen. It just may never happen. Things like this may continue to increase, increase, increase. What do you think is going to happen if Donald Trump gets elected? What do you think is going to happen if Donald Trump gets elected? What do you think is going to happen if Donald Trump doesn't get indicted? I mean, if the jury, if Donald Trump skates through this political, I mean, this, well, it is a, of people attacking major government installations.
Starting point is 00:17:27 So the solution to you, PBN family, is it's time to get yourself at least rudimentarily trained with your firearms and in some form of good physical health, okay? and in some form of good physical health. I do think that there will be a rise in militias all over this country. I think that's going to happen. So what I want you to do is just be prepared to join the ranks should the time come. Follow me? Be someone who can join the ranks of your local militia and do some shooting and do some running and do some communicating.
Starting point is 00:18:11 Because I don't know what's coming. My members, a couple days ago, I released a video about October 7th. And how my thinking about something like October 7th happening here Has evolved so dramatically in 8 months So dramatically So You know Get prepared Be effective
Starting point is 00:18:37 Be effective with your firearm Be capable of running and gunning And if you're not sure if you can run and gun Or if you think you're telling yourself stories That you can run and gun, go play paintball this weekend. Go play paintball this weekend for about four hours and you'll know. You'll know right off the bat. Am I ready to fight Jordanian terrorists coming in from the southern border or not? Now, most of you probably say not, but it is what it is.
Starting point is 00:19:04 southern border or not now most of you probably say not but it is what it is okay i wanted to talk today in this segment about the shtf chef i don't feel like running the uh well maybe i should let's run let's run it's only 18 seconds now that is a delicious cut of long pork. SHTF's chef, I wanted to talk to you about a prepper food staple and the best way to prepare it, in my opinion. Long-term food storage, bucket it up at home, easy to do, something you should be doing. You can bucket up lentils. Lentils are a, they are a legume, but they have protein in them. And it's not insignificant. They're very nutritious little, they are legume, right? Aren't lentils legumes? I think they are. And the way you whip those things up, the thing about the lentil is,
Starting point is 00:20:12 you know, you cook beans, you got to have some time to cook beans. You got to soak beans overnight. You got to do, you got to cook them for a long, you know what I mean? The lentil can be cooked for dinner if you got 20 minutes. You know what I mean? That's what stands out about them. Red lentils, black lentils, golden lentils. They got all kinds of stuff. Doesn't matter to me.
Starting point is 00:20:38 I don't really necessarily have one favorite or another. Finely diced onion. Finely diced onion. Finely diced onion into olive oil on a medium-low heat until the onion softens. A tablespoon of golden curry powder, briefly, just until it gets fragrant, a cup or two of lentils, okay? Cup or two of lentils. Cover with chicken stock, chicken broth, beef stock, beef broth, whatever you want. And cook until the lentils are tender. Curried lentils are an amazing side dish for anything.
Starting point is 00:21:24 You take curried lentils, you chill them, right? Take curried lentils, an amazing side dish for anything. You take curry lentils, you chill them, right? Take curry lentils, eat them for dinner. You have leftovers, you chill them. You toss that curry lentil with cucumbers, fresh tomatoes, some mint. What else? Maybe some sliced radish, some of those English peas, whatever it is. Fresh veggies, maybe an arugula. And you're going to have a cold salad of curried lentils that's awesome too.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Awesome. Maybe a little hard-boiled egg in there. Delicious, okay? So get your lentils right, PBN family. You should know how to cook the things that you store. Am I right? Okay. I'm going to leave you with this. It is my verse from the Bible.
Starting point is 00:22:12 It is James 2.26. I was born on February 26th. There's a whole story behind it, but I won't get into that right now. But I wanted to motivate you for the rest of the day because it's always a motivating factor for me. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so too faith without works is dead.
