Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to P.B.N. You're playing back the stability. What is up everybody? It is hump day, Independence Day Eve. Hope you got big plans to celebrate this nation. God knows we need a raucous celebration of the U.S. The U.S. and all that it has afforded our spoiled society here. I started watching the other night. My wife and I were looking for something to watch, and I started watching that new Disney movie, Wish. It's not new anymore, but it was new.
Starting point is 00:01:05 And the beginning of the movie was so funny, but I didn't wind up watching it. It was all about this fictitious island and this unbelievable concept where all people were allowed to come to this fictitious island and live together and be successful in harmony. And they showed people from all different walks of life. And I'm watching it for the second time. A second thing in this weird cultural spin-up that we're in.
Starting point is 00:01:36 And try to create and define a concept as great as the United States of America. And, you know, it's already here. All we need to do is nurture it. All we need to do is nurture it and stop picking it apart, you know, letter by letter. It's so crystal clear to me anymore that people have simply forgotten what a gift it is, their daily lives, their daily rights, their daily freedoms, you know, what a gift it is to wake up every day and be able to speak your mind and protect that right with a firearm and know that even if you come under, I don't know if the Constitution can guarantee this anymore. You probably have to fight it in the court of law. But even if you are potentially run up against the law in some way that's unjust, you have the ability to fight that.
Starting point is 00:02:34 And you have a just trial with due process and without excessive punishment. I mean, Donald Trump could argue that himself, and a lot of people. We know things are awry in the justice system right now, and the law and justice is not balanced whatsoever. But it's in the founding documents, which means you can fight it. You know what I mean? Which means there's a good chance it will come back to stasis. And it's, you know, it's you being used as a weapon at the moment. But all that said, you know, because those things are great and you grow up in a country like this,
Starting point is 00:03:23 where so much of it has been laid out by people so much smarter and thoughtful than the average person. And I think you know in your heart of hearts how brilliant the founding fathers were. And one of the reasons I say that is because they try to demean them over every little wrong that they've done. And of course, this is the art of distractivism, right? The art of distractivism is that you don't look at yourself and consider what could be fixed. You don't ask what you could do for your country, right? Rather, you ask what your country could do for you.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Remember the famous, sort of the inverse of the famous line from John F. Kennedy. Was it John F. Kennedy? Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country could do for you. Remember the famous, sort of the inverse of the famous line from John F. Kennedy. Was it John F. Kennedy? Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. The public well-being, the public good, was always a founding principle all the way back, you know, long before welfare was a thing. And I'm going to talk to you about that tomorrow. And I'm going to talk to you about that tomorrow in our 4th of July live stream. We'll be running that super show, 24-7 live broadcast of 4th of July, Independence Day songs, Revolutionary War songs.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Great 4th of July shows from a variety of hosts here at PBN, great speeches from our incredible leaders throughout Sense, all that kind of stuff that we do every single year here on PBN. This is like our fourth year running that hail of freedom for you all day. And I do it. I don't do it. I do it for one reason. I do it because good luck finding that. Seriously, good luck finding that. It's not around. You know, during the 4th of July, I would be cooking out on the grill, and I'd be like, man, I just want to turn something on that is like, you know, songs from the revolution. I want to hear some drum and fife on the 4th. I don't want to listen to crap that don't exist. It's not on the radio. They play like
Starting point is 00:05:47 90s hits, summer 90s hits. You know what I mean? Nothing wrong with it, but it's just not what I want to hear. So whenever I wake up and get it on, which will probably be earlier than most people wake up, the 4th of July show will be up and running tomorrow. Enjoy it all day, all day and into the evening. It's such a great day, man. You know, just seriously, celebrate, be obnoxious with your patriotism tomorrow because the nation is just torn asunder by these distractivists who would dare not question what needs to be improved in their life but would rather destroy the greatest nation on the planet and you know it's true because i keep seeing this
Starting point is 00:06:31 sort of concept pop up like people people are putting some thought into their problems that they see around this country and they're all arriving at the same idea. Well, maybe we could all live together in harmony and freedom. Wouldn't that be a great concept? Buddy, you're here. You have arrived. If you want it to get better, all you need is prosperity. All you need is to nurture this thing. That's all you need to do. You need to nurture this thing. You need to drive your crazy-ass politicians back to the Constitution. That's all you got to do. Get your freedom back. Standing in the courtyard with a sign.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Doesn't seem to be working. We've been at it for four years now. Working? Got a big... You'll hear about this after, but I did want to bring it up. Yesterday I talked to a guest that will be on in the near future, and he's creating, I want to build a little bit of suspense about it
Starting point is 00:07:36 because it's really cool. He's building accessible, massive EMP solutions for preppers. It's a pretty cool concept. I'll tell you more about it. If you're really interested, I don't want to waste the air time on it, to be honest, going into it all and the details and such on this show because this is going to be a short show. The I Am Liberty show is already completed. I interviewed Dan from, well, I'll tell you about that in a second. If you are looking for like a giant EMP solution, like you want to pull a tractor in,
Starting point is 00:08:19 you want to pull yard equipment in, like if you're a homesteader and you've got, you know, you've invested money in serious equipment that could go destructo in the face of an EMP and now you're back to axes and wood tools, you can contact me, reach out, I'll get you in contact with this guy. But I'll tell you a little bit more about him after, well, I'll probably let him tell you about what he's working on because it's big and it's exciting and it's a great idea, really. It's an enormous solution for the EMP, both in concept and in literal size. Not for everybody, but it's pretty cool. Pretty cool. I don't know. I've been looking around my own place. Where could I stick this? Where can I?
Starting point is 00:09:04 Pretty cool. I don't know. I've been looking around my own place. Where could I stick this? All right. So at noon today, we're going to get an early dose of the I Am Liberty show. I'm not doing a show tonight live. The I Am Liberty show will be pre-recorded. It's an awesome show, though. I finally got Dan Morton, the man behind Ammo Squared, our incredible sponsor that has solved ammunition buying for me at least. And really for you too if you sign up. Those of you who have signed up, thank you. And those of you who have signed up, you know the power of Ammo Squared. He's on with us to discuss ammunition, the concept, the deep inner workings of his business. I found out things about ammo squared I didn't even know. I had no idea you could swap ammo dollar for dollar.
Starting point is 00:09:54 So even if you choose calibers, you can swap ammo dollar for dollar. And you can even sell your ammunition back to ammo squared for cash. You know, add to the benefits. It's an amazing business model. They do a great job. And for me, fundamentally, PBN family, they just take that whole thing about, like, worrying about ammo, availability. Should I buy it? When am I going to get out to buy it?
Starting point is 00:10:23 Should I buy it online? I don't want to pay the shipping when I can go pick it up. You know, all that kind of stuff that used to run through my head and worry me about ammunition has become a monthly payment well within my budget constraints. filled up month after month. It's too easy. It's too affordable. You can make it as affordable as you want, you know? So get to know Dan. Dan is a, he's one of us. You know, that's the other big deal behind Ammo Squared and one of the reasons I did business with them. I always talk to sponsors and I always tell them, look, this is who we are. We talk about what we want to talk about. It might get us in trouble sometimes, and that is what it is. But I always give them the heads up and let them know, like, you could be guilty by association. So, and it tests the water, you know what I mean? It lets
Starting point is 00:11:15 them kind of figure out whether or not they want to do business with us. Because I don't want them to be surprised. And I certainly don't want to, you know, find out however many months later we're doing business with people that don't align with what we align with because that will just be an argument, and God only knows, you know, this day and age how that could go. So don't miss that today, midday, okay? It won't be tonight. It'll be midday. You've got some awesome stuff.
Starting point is 00:11:41 You've got to listen to The Rising Republic. You know, L. Douglas Hogan, a.k.a. Swenson, man. He, with the sound and with the concepts, he's a great host. I'm so glad. I'm so glad, frankly, that I pressured him into joining us through Prepper Camp. You know, I was talking to the guy at Prepper Camp, and I already knew he had a great voice. But getting to hear, you know, what he's all about. And I was like, dude, you've got to do your podcast again. It's crazy. So I got two in the chamber for him.
Starting point is 00:12:14 The one this week is called Panic. It's exactly what you think it's about. And, man, it's a winner. It's a winner, no doubt about it. So I think that's about it. Let's get into One Threat, One Solution. We're going to talk supply chain, labor force, all that kind of stuff today. All right?
Starting point is 00:12:37 Let's do it. A lot of things happening, PBN family, in the background. With so much on everybody's plate and so much, you know, focus on the political here in America. Global supply chains are facing disruptions at Suez and Panama canals, because even down there we have geopolitical conflicts and environmental factors. The Suez Canal has been affected by conflicts in Gaza and attacks by the Houthi rebels. We kind of knew that, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:13:22 We kind of knew that that whole area was going to be an issue. And drought conditions south of us, south of the U.S. into Panama, can now have limited vessel passage. Companies like Ashley Furniture adding surcharges to offset rising costs. The Red Sea sees Uber-style price surges due to increased security risks. You know, it's a world at war when it comes to shipping. Like, war doesn't help you. There are people it helps, don't get me wrong, but it certainly doesn't help the average person.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Walgreens is slashing 150 stores by the end of august 2024 as part of its cost cutting and business simplification efforts what a weird way to word that this move is driven by lower demand for covet 19 related services and reduced consumer spending which has led to a 45% decrease in shares. You know, I was just talking to my wife yesterday about a strip here in Richmond, Virginia, that now is dominated by a CVS and a Walgreens. And she was telling me about what it what it used to look like, you know, what it used to be, hardware stores and ice creams, you know, to look like, you know, what it used to be.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Hardware stores and ice creams, you know, like a town. You know, the things that people actually like. I see this and I know consumer spending has a a generation, maybe subsequent generations of people who are not going to be on 30 prescriptions from the time they're 40 on. You know what I mean? Like these guys at Walgreens and CVS and the corner drug dealers,
Starting point is 00:15:22 they've been living good, man. You know, because doctors have convinced people that you need to take 14 different pills every morning and then you're going to be healthy. I think that's coming to an end. That may already have come to an end. You know, that may have already come to an end in the minds of the younger people who haven't got to that age yet. Like they may take alternate routes.
Starting point is 00:15:49 People like me and my wife, we're not, we won't be on 10 different medications. Do you know what I mean? The things that we know now and the way that we deal with our health now, it's just not going to be. So, you know, these big corner store drug dealers might be might be history so i didn't know that the covet 19 related services had such so much to do with walgreens uh core business until reading this now i read it and i think to myself like wow yeah walgreens aims to achieve 4.1 billion in cost savings and will lay off 500 corporate employees primarily at its headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois. The Department of Homeland Security Supply Chain Resilience Center partnered with the Department of Transportation and Transport Canada to conduct a joint supply chain disruption exercise held in Niagara, Ontario.
Starting point is 00:16:47 The exercise simulated a severe winter weather event impacting key U.S.-Canada border crossings. Over 100 participants, including federal, state, and private sector partners, aimed to assess improved cross-border transportation resilience. An after-action review will be released in August 24 to outline findings and recommendations. That would probably be pretty interesting to read. You know, pretty interesting to read. The concept, the solution, is the concept alternative everything. Some of you have been beaten to death
Starting point is 00:17:21 with the concept of alternative everything and are tired of hearing me talk about it. but you got to understand the validity there you know it's as simple as as making a list of everything that you use in a week important things food you know basic necessities tools whatever whatever makes up your week but the important things and figuring out you know wi-fi all that and figuring out what's the alternative and writing it down next to it you know what's the alternative to the supermarket for you ideally it's the local farmer's market ideally it's it's something along those lines right maybe it's even an online order something along those lines, right? Maybe it's even an online order, something along those lines. But the alternative everything concept is built for, I mean, this is why I created it.
Starting point is 00:18:15 I created it for this situation in 2020. You know, when 2020 started and it looked like, well, maybe they're going to close things. They've already closed every small business they could close. And they've told you that going to big businesses is safer than small businesses somehow. Yeah, you have to have alternatives. You know, look at your garden. You look at your canning situation. You look at your preservation.
Starting point is 00:18:44 You look at your preps. You look at where your dry food comes from, you look at where your ammo comes from, you look at, you know, all this stuff and say to yourself, if the supply chain situation dries up, what's my alternative? What's my alternative? Shipping the whole, you know, whatever problems we could see. And that's how you build out your alternative everything, you know, that is the solution. All right, folks, you're going to hear enough words tomorrow. I'm sure you've got, you know, plenty of things planned for the grill and the eating and the drinking and the partying and the celebration. Do enjoy the 4th of July because frankly you might not hear from me yeah you may not hear from me live until after the
Starting point is 00:19:33 holiday though I don't intend on taking a long holiday so it's a good chance you'll hear from me over the weekend I hope you guys have big plans. Like I said, this year with what our nation has gone through with the man at the helm, if you would refer to him as that, it's been a dark year for America, man. On the world stage, we need a good celebration. We need the crackle and pop of fireworks and the sizzle of steaks on the grill. And the reminder that this is the pinnacle. No one's figured out a better way to do it yet. Complain about it all you want, but this is the best.
Starting point is 00:20:17 You know what I mean? All right, folks. I'll talk to you guys soon. I appreciate you. PBN Daily News. See ya. and whatever else your prepper mind can dream up.
