Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to PBN. You're playing back the stability here. Good day, folks. Monday. What is happening? Holy moly, what a weekend. What a weekend on many fronts. Obviously, the dominant story, the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Big deal. I'll get right to the meat of the issue for you. If you are into the conspiratorial, if you are into really dialing in and figuring out what the hell happened, what could have happened, what might have happened, how it was all laid out, what tentacles might have been involved, and so forth. Let me give you the exact name of the episode.
Starting point is 00:01:27 Patriot Power Hour Special Report Attempted assassination of Trump Okay If you have any questions Concerns Anything By way By way of what happened Future Dan and Ben the Breaker The banksters
Starting point is 00:01:40 Did the best job anyone could do With the conspiracy end of it. That's it. That's all I want to talk about in terms of conspiracy. You know, I get hit with a document, a handwritten document, essentially, like midday yesterday, or actually it's probably about mid-morning yesterday. And it is as comprehensive a document around conspiracy and assassination as i've ever seen in my life handcrafted by future dan from the patriot power hour and i was already not too much in the conspiracy camp i'm still not really into the in the conspiracy camp. Look, anything's possible, but you know what I mean? I just don't feel that. I don't feel that. I feel like we've seen several situations unfold, and none of them are all that,
Starting point is 00:02:36 you know, hard to wrap your head around. I think we underestimate the effect of incompetence in our country. You know what I mean? Like we underestimate the damage that incompetence can do in our country. I mean, look at the leader of the free world and then look at the state of the world, right? That's the best example, how we underestimate the power of incompetent leadership. That's what I see. I see somebody running the Secret Service
Starting point is 00:03:14 who shouldn't be running the Secret Service. I see people sort of, what's up, Jay Ferg? I see people sort of like, you know, we're in a Trump devotee location, so, you know, let's dial it back as far as the security is concerned. I just think that the level of incompetence, well, incompetence is deadly. That's all. Could have been deadly. Could have been deadly.
Starting point is 00:03:46 That's what I see. You know what I mean? But like I said, if you're into the conspiracy end of it, if you really want to get deep and really understand how something like this could happen, how a conspiracy can unfold. the Patriot Power Hour guys did it last night. They did it better than anybody else you're going to listen to. I don't say that lightly. There's a lot of resources out there, but when you look at what Future Dan put together and what he figured out, or maybe not figured out, but the way he breaks it down,
Starting point is 00:04:24 I mean, I don't even want to know how he knows what the things that he knew, because it's a little terrifying. It was, you know, top down, highest level to lowest level. You know, like I said, don't waste your time. If that's your thing, listen to that, because it was spot on. If that's your thing, listen to that because it was spot on. Other big stuff. Lots of other big stuff. Today in your inbox.
Starting point is 00:04:52 I was going to send it out Sunday. I wound up sending it out Monday morning. But today in your inbox, if you are a newsletter subscriber, okay, 50 Must Read Books to Survive Doomsday. Incredible resource. It's basically the preparedness library. The preparedness and survivalist library that covers off-grid living, food, production, cooking, family fun, first aid, survival skills in their basic forms. It's an awesome collection of books, man. I mean, the vast majority of them come off of what you can see right here if you're watching the video,
Starting point is 00:05:36 this little pipe that leads to my own personal library. And the vast majority of them came from that. And now going forward, I've automated the mailing list. So anyone who signs up at pbnfamily.com at the mailing list will get this book sent to them. You sign up, you get a return email, a welcome email, and then boom, you'll have your book. Yeah, there's a lot of good books in there, Jay Ferg. A lot of good books. What that list is missing is a book on survival fiber work written by you. That's what we need. That's it. That's the one. There ain't really hardly anything in that list about it. I guess
Starting point is 00:06:22 the Encyclopedia of Country Living has a little bit in it about that, but very little. That's the one we need. That's the one we need. Not just me, but I'm talking, you know, the prepping community at large. Jordan's Fibers for Survival. Be a winner. So what else?
Starting point is 00:06:44 What else? Do I want to tell you about ETA yet? I don't know if I want to tell you about ETA yet. We might keep this kind of short because I'm late to the party today. The other big, big situation that you have to wrap your head around for today, and it will probably come with a healthy dose of Trump assassination talk. for today, and it will probably come with a healthy dose of Trump assassination talk. I had a predetermined, pre-scheduled interview with Rick Austin tonight for Preppers Live, which will be 9 p.m. Eastern. PrepperBroadcasting.com, for those of you who are watching the video, PrepperBroadcasting.com is where all the podcasts live, okay? There's a live, listen live button over there. That's where you listen to the live shows. There's a live listen live button over there that's where you listen to the live shows there's chat room over there so on and so forth um this this was a show that was supposed to be
Starting point is 00:07:32 about prepper camp you know what i mean what it is going to be now is myself rick austin dave jones the nbc guy uh actually i double booked this slot funny enough, I double booked this slot, funny enough. So I double booked this slot. I forgot about Rick. Sorry, Rick. And I got so excited about the Annie Jacobson interview on Joe Rogan that I sent it to Dave Jones, the NBC guy, and said, fact check, dude. Let's see what she's talking about. Not to attack her. She's just a journalist who asked a bunch of questions about nuclear war and how it would play out and then reported on it. But when it's going out to a massive audience like Joe Rogan, I thought it'd be fun for us to look at it and say, with Dave Jones, the NBC guy, 25-year expert on the subject of nuclear war,
Starting point is 00:08:21 to break down what fits and what don't fit. And then we get hit with the assassination attempt. I get the reminder that, oh, by the way, by the way, you already booked Rick Austin. And, you know, it turns into a great show that's going to be myself, Dave Jones, and Rick Austin all yapping, yapping about the conditions of the world and how to prepare for them, you know? So that'll be a great show tonight, 9 p.m. Don't miss it. Do not miss it, folks. I got a great article from my buddy Carl B., our Friday host, The Strange Truth. He sends over a New York Post article about Costco's Apocalypse Dinner Kit will last 25 years. Here's how much it will set back doomsday
Starting point is 00:09:11 preppers. It looks like it costs under $100, so it must be like a 72-hour. It's a ReadyWise kit. I don't know if you guys are familiar with ReadyWise. ReadyWise to me, in terms of food storage and things like that, they always just seem to be like the designer long-term food storage. That's not freeze-dried cooking bag, right? Like Mountain House. And sometimes there's different ones that are more popular that cook within the bag, hot water into the bag, seal the bag, cook, right? They're the best, in my opinion. They're the most expensive, but in terms of, like, utilizing or maybe not conserving resources, they're the best because the ReadyWise food and a lot of the other long-term food storage, it's a 25 or I think it's like usually an 18 to 20-minute simmer
Starting point is 00:10:09 to get those things rehydrated and doing what you need them to do. So 18 to 20-minute simmer doesn't really sound like a lot when the electricity is on. It doesn't really sound like a lot when you have unlimited gas piping to your stove. But if you're using jet boils, if you're using a propane stove, if you're in a disaster scenario, cooking fuel becomes an issue. Cooking fuel becomes a serious concern. If you're down to making fires to cook food and trying to simmer over a fire, that takes practice and it also takes time. Jay Ferg in chat says, you're right, Ready Wise is more fancy meals. This is what it always seemed like to me.
Starting point is 00:10:55 And they're good, they're tasty, but they are the most expensive in terms of the bagged survival food that you actually cook on the stovetop. I wrote, you know, in doing this, what I do for a living, I've written many articles where people have sent me almost every type of survival food and told me to review them, you know, so that's an adventure. And you'll find out that some survival foods are more equal than others, is what you find out. You find out that some are lacking in flavor, some are void of texture. And the Ready Wise foods are not bad.
Starting point is 00:11:36 The emergency essentials are up there, I think. I really think that Ready Hour does the best job. Ready Hour, to me, seems to be the brand that hits all the high notes. You know what I mean? Like the food itself is reasonable in terms of like could I eat this on a regular basis? Because it all, in comparison to what you eat now, it all sucks. Make no mistake about it. You're never sitting around going,
Starting point is 00:12:07 honey, make the chicken teriyaki from emergency essentials for dinner tonight. It never happens. You know what I mean? So it all sucks compared to what you're used to eating, which is why for me and my people here at PBN, our goal is always to be producing our own food. Not that we won't utilize that, but we also don't want to be stuck eating packet food.
Starting point is 00:12:34 You know what I mean? But Ready Hour, I think they're affiliated with My Patriot Supply, if I'm not mistaken. When I did all the testing of survival food, that stood out to me. It didn't stand out to me because it was the best tasting, right? I really do think Ready Wise is the best with flavor and probably with texture too. But Ready Hour is the best price, the best, the highest amount of calories for your money and the most palatable, you know, within all of that. Just my take. I tasted them all. Valley food storage, all of them. The only one I haven't really gone in on is nutrient survival.
Starting point is 00:13:16 I haven't tested those guys out. But, you know, again, at the end of the day, it is what it is. For me, dollar per calorie is very important. And, of course, palatable. Palatability is pretty important too. Jay Ferg says, I'd rather have an MRE in a pinch, but homegrown is best. Yeah, the MREs are ready to go. You know, there's no cooking.
Starting point is 00:13:38 And that's the thing. Most people don't appreciate the no cooking until they're cooking with no power. You know, and then it's like, oh, God, how am I going to simmer this water? How am I going to simmer this water for 20 minutes? That's why I do like the Mountain House. You know, water comes to a boil. It goes into the bag, seal the bag up, stir really well, go back a couple steps, stir really well or it's crap. And then, you know, I think it's 15 minutes or something like that mountain house bag and your food's ready and i i i've had my children eat mountain house meals before happily i can't say that i could take a chicken flavored or like vegetable flavored rice gruel bowl from some of
Starting point is 00:14:23 these food storage companies sit it in front of them and have them be like yeah this i'm gonna enjoy this you know like i i know i remember vividly eating like an egg sausage bake or something the morning after my son my oldest son and I's first ever camping trip. And we just ate it next to a small pond. And the mist was rising all at the pond. I think he was like four or five. No, he had to be about four or five because we had no second son yet. And, yeah, he enjoyed it. You know, he ate it up.
Starting point is 00:15:00 We packed up, tent, went home. Well, we had a little bit of an adventure after that. But, yeah, anyway. So there's a fondness there. And when kids take to something and enjoy it, there's value in that. There's value in that because that means they're going to eat. If you don't have kids or if you've fed kids in perfect conditions only, there's definitely a point where people will stop eating. You know what I mean? Like, if you feed people chicken-flavored rice gruel for days at a time, like, they're going to take a big break until they're starving.
Starting point is 00:15:46 They're just going to say, I can't eat it again today. This is like the rice and beans paradox for preppers, right? It's like you stockpile all the rice and all the beans, and then you realize, I better get a little better
Starting point is 00:15:58 at creating rice and beans-related recipes because as good as a good bowl of rice and black beans can be, you know, after a while, it's not going to work. So anyway, so the big things, guys, sign up for the newsletter, okay, and you'll get the 50 must-read books to survive doomsday. Again, even if you're not a doomsday prepper or whatever, even if doomsday is not your thing, all these books are amazing. I mean, they're incredible books on how to grow food and, you know, survival tactics, self-defense, military tactics, even. I mean, the books in the children's section are basically priceless. You know, if you're a parent, there's four of
Starting point is 00:16:42 them. They're all essentials. They're all great books that I own. One I even wrote. Tons, tons of good stuff. All right. Get it for free. Sign up for the newsletter. It should either be in route or in your inbox right now because the email went out right before I hopped on. What else? I think that's it, folks, for today. Visit pbnfamily.com. Consider membership today. Tons of information up there already, new information always incoming. We're about to start doing a prep or gear series to add to our four other series and lists of podcasts and content and PDFs and free stuff. And there's another free book at pbnfamily.com too about nuclear war. That's included in the list of books, but it's up there if you want to get involved in that. I think that might be it for today. Huh? Don't drive yourself crazy, right, over it for today. Don't drive yourself crazy over the Trump thing.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Don't drive yourself nuts over the conspiracy. If you're really into it, listen to the Patriot Power Hour at PrepperBroadcasting.com and then carry on. Carry on with life because there's much more you can do to affect yourself and your family in your backyard, in your front yard, in your home and so on than you'll ever do to affect anything by sitting on Twitter and going, I wonder what the mysterious cabal of leaders and Bilderberg lizards have done to try to take out Trump and failed from 150 yards. I'll talk to you guys soon, all right? Don't miss the show tonight. Rick, Austin, Dave Jones, myself, 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, prepperbroadcasting.com, and go for that live button at the top, and you'll be able to listen to the live show, all right?
