Good morning, green room, everyone. Gather round. Gather round, green room, so we can discuss PBN Daily News, amongst many other things.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Powerful week last week on the Prepper Broadcasting Network. We are ushering in a another another one it's here there's snow on the ground here in virginia actually right now pretty impressive morning i woke up 5 a.m to snow really falling out the window i ran upstairs to wake the kids up and then i was like i think i'm getting a little i'm getting a little overexcited. And the snow tapered off maybe in the next 10 minutes. And I was kind of happy I didn't wake them up. I think they'd have been let down.
Starting point is 00:01:17 We are, there's a lot. There's a lot. There's a lot going on in the world. There's a lot. But it's being slowly, if you're paying attention, it's being slowly nudged out by the holiday season. I hope it is in your life at least. I hope the holiday season is slowly nudging out all this terrible news. And while I do want you prepping and investing in your preparedness steps and plans and processes,
Starting point is 00:01:40 I also want you investing in having a great holiday season with your family. You know? Let your heart be light let your heart be light PBN family I uh I was out on Saturday with the family and it occurred to me I've had an obsession with this song you know have yourself a merry little Christmas for probably like five years just radically obsessed with it I, you know, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, for probably like five years. Just radically obsessed with it. I don't know. I think it's probably, I don't know that it's my favorite, but I think it's the best. You know, I really do. I think it's the best. I think it captures what this season is all about probably the best, right? There are some lines in that song that are so good. And then I became manic. Do you know what manic is?
Starting point is 00:02:34 People rarely use the word manic anymore. But it's an experience that we see a lot in the world. It's an emotion that I particularly really enjoy. I'm very fond of my manic moments. Honestly. I was particularly wrapped up in through the years we will all be together if the fates allow. Do you know what I mean? There's so much in that.
Starting point is 00:03:11 There's just so much in that. Through the years we will all be together if the fates allow. And I've heard it done if the Lord allows. Largely, it's the same concept, right? Because, God, if that's not what this time of year is all about, I don't know what it is. You know what I mean? There's a reason why the holidays are so brutal
Starting point is 00:03:32 on the divorced and the depressed and the lonely. It's, you know, because through the years we will all come together. You know, there's other great lines. Faithful friends who are dear to, gather near to us once more. I mean, it's, these are, these are the lessons in the song are massive. We sing it, you know what I mean? You sing the song and you just kind of blah, blah, blah. I've been singing it my whole life.
Starting point is 00:03:55 And when you really sit down and think about it, and I had long been thinking, you know, a, it's time for not the Christmas hook part two, but it's time for another Christmas book because I'm completely enamored with the holiday. You know, I was talking to my kids on the ride to work today and I said, you know, over the next few weeks, one of my sons said, God, look at the Kroger parking lots packed already. And I said, you know, over the next couple couple weeks, two, three weeks or something like that, Americans will probably spend billions of dollars. They'll go in debt. They'll spend billions of dollars. And me personally, I'm a fan.
Starting point is 00:04:36 I know it's not the best thing. I've been in credit card debt. I know what the deal is. But there's something magic about this idea that we're all gonna fall under this trance of giving and love and and togetherness and listen the value of that where's the damn christmas hook at the value of that is only getting higher and higher as the years go on right it's the reason why in my book the christmas hook in the um opening pages i quoted hamilton right maybe and he says blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love now i didn't know conspiracy was going to be such
Starting point is 00:05:20 a big deal back in 2018 as it is now but blessed is the season in which the whole world uh what is it i tried to memorize it real quick in which the whole oh which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love that's where we're at right now so i came home and i had this idea i was i had this idea i had this manic emotion running through me, right? Manic, which is uncontrollable excitement, right? It's like this uncontrollable sort of excitedness. And it is what it is. You know, it's very real.
Starting point is 00:05:57 It's very real and it's exciting. And if you're an entrepreneur and you're too manic, then you'll never get anything done. But I've had conversations with other hosts where we were both just manic about an idea. You know, this is the idea. This is the way we're going to do it. This is how we're going to pull it off. It's one of my favorite things of all of life. And I said, you know what? We need a multi-character, multi-scenario We need a multi-character, multi-scenario story about life at Christmastime. And many of the questions that we are asking right now should be answered.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Many of the old ways should be reaffirmed in a story like this, and the story should be titled, Let Your Heart Be Light, which is another great line from that song, which is probably the most important line right now in our world, right? Because everything is so damn heavy. So I'm outlining the future of this Christmas story called Let Your Heart Be Light. Ta-da. I don't think you'll read it for another year, but I just thought I'd mention it because I'm excited about it. And it's weird because I never thought I would write a Christmas story. And now we're heading into book number two.
Starting point is 00:07:20 Okay, Green Room, we went a little over. But I don't care. We've got big news to talk about. There are likely to be impeachment hearings on the president. It is what it is. I mean, well, we'll talk about it in the show. Justice is important. I don't know if we're getting there.
Starting point is 00:07:39 There's some good news out there, guys. We've got to focus on the good news, too. For a prepper to say that, it's like, ooh, I don't know. Tonight, Preppers Live. Cross your fingers. We should be doing a show called Inside the Tennessee Tornadoes with the SoCal Prepper, with Lois Lane, the SoCal Prepper who has moved to Tennessee and was abruptly greeted by, yeah, natural disaster. But luckily she was prepared. She is prepared. And she's going to give us her point of view from inside the situation right here and now. She was hit. That area was hit where she is. Power out
Starting point is 00:08:21 like crazy. So we should. We're hoping the power comes on she's in the she's off grid right now if you will we're hoping the power comes back on and if it does then we'll be able to do our interview with the socal prepper from inside the tennessee tornadoes tonight on preppers live uh that's about it man let's get this thing on the road huh let's get this pbn daily news on the road, huh? Let's get this PBN Daily News on the road. Good Monday morning, everybody. PBN Daily News, your path back to stability. How's everybody's weekend? I hope you had a good time. The holidays are here. Let your heart be light. Okay. The prepping topic I want to talk about since we're in the buying
Starting point is 00:09:13 season is, and you know, when you talk about guns, you can get into all the trouble, right? Let me turn the volume down on the phone so I can check the live chat room here. You can get in all the trouble when you talk about firearms in our world. People just get crazy. No, it's not that kind of gun. It's the other kind of gun. No, it's not that many grains. It's this many grains. Keep it up.
Starting point is 00:09:43 It's, uh, what's the, what's the... Oh, you got a murderous rage in you. I like it. That great line from Gangs of New York. It's good. It's life boiling up inside of you. And that's what those arguments are. You know, they're life. They're life. You want people to have life. And even if they're arguing about things you don't even understand, you think are stupid, you got to understand it's life. The other option is nobody ever argues and everybody's apathetic and the world is just a boring place to exist. But since I have the microphone and the camera, you have to listen to my take on utility guns for getting stuff done. my take on utility guns for getting stuff done, right?
Starting point is 00:10:29 I don't know, like, it's hard for me to know where everybody's head is with this kind of talk because the relationship with guns is varied, particularly on the podcast network and probably even here on the Rumble audience too. But it's important that you understand, like, you definitely need some utility firearms. It's not just about, like, I need the guns to fight the war. I need the optics. I need the flashlights. I need the, you know, all the cool guy stuff. Because my cool guy guns get so little action compared to the utility firearms that, you know, it just is what it is and the
Starting point is 00:11:07 utility firearms some of them are not even really guns to be honest with like like one of the most important guns that i use year to year dealing with predators dealing with things around the house shooting with my kids in a suburban environment is the air rifle just is what it is you know what i mean like we have a pump action pellet gun with a scope and that gun we can shoot we do a lot with airsoft too but i'm not going to count airsoft in the utility guns though give me a year and i might because we started buying targets for those and they're pretty fun um but anyway uh the pellet gun has dispatched many a predator chasing the chickens around right no the thing about the about the air rifle that's so important particularly if you're a suburban or even a an urban prepper is it's not a firearm with gunpowder that goes boom, you know, like it's
Starting point is 00:12:06 a little loud, but it's not hardly loud enough that people are gonna be like shots fired. You know what I mean? So it might sound silly. And if it sounds silly, then you either haven't given it a try or you're not living the lifestyle where you have to deal with predators or snakes or things like that. And that can be suburban. You know, I am blessed to be in my position, which wasn't chosen because I'm such a brilliant prepper. It was chosen because I told my wife, pick, we had a collection of houses and I said, pick the one you want. You know what I mean? It wasn't, and it wasn't like a baller move. It wasn't like, I don't care how much money. We had a budget. We had houses within that budget. I said, pick the one you want, and she picked the winner.
Starting point is 00:12:46 God, did she ever pick the winner. So we got wildlife, man, you know? The other most, probably second most useful weapon, firearm to have around is, I'll say the.22 rifle, though I have seen Dave Jones useones use the 22 pistol really effectively but i'm gonna say the 22 rifle uh and the reason is because it you can take it to do all kinds of stuff you know what i mean like my son got a 22 rifle last year for christmas and uh now if we want to go out and sit in a hunting blind he's there and he's there with a with a the capacity to do exactly what i'm doing
Starting point is 00:13:34 uh well maybe not exactly what i'm doing with a 30 out six but he's you know he's capable right the 22 is also pretty quiet i mean it's a pretty quiet firearm like you fire a 22 if he fires his rifle and then i fire my rifle next to his like it's different thing right duh um but i really like it i really like the 22 bolt action rifle in particular i think it's a really cool weapon it's a great utility weapon. It's a great utility weapon. You can take it out into the woods and hunt, I mean, pretty much anything that we're going to encounter. We don't run into bears. We don't run into elk, you know, and it's fully capable of taking down a white-tailed deer if you get the shot right. It's a great weapon. It's a utility gun. It's a utility firearm that goes
Starting point is 00:14:27 a very long way. It's arguably utility, arguably self-defense, but another firearm that I think's very important, and it's your choice, but it is a concealed carry pistol. Having a concealed carry pistol is way more about utility for me than it is about anything else. It's way more about day-to-day use to solve a daily problem, which don't get me wrong, it's not like we're running into problems where I got to pull a handgun every day. But by putting that belt on and putting that holster on, problems are solved. You know what I mean? There's a set of problems that I know are solved should we encounter a certain situation.
Starting point is 00:15:10 We've got a shotgun here. I can't say that personally the 12-gauge shotgun is of tremendous utility to me. I would recommend everybody have one. It'd probably be the first gun I'd tell you to buy if you came up to me. Number one, because 12-gauge shotguns are so accessible from a price point nowadays, it's unbelievable. It's really unbelievable. And it's a no-aim solution for home defense. And it's also a weapon that's capable of killing everything on our continent.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Literally. So, why not? 200 bucks. You know? 200 bucks, you've got yourself a 12-gauge shotgun. You go to Palmetto State Armor, you can get yourself like a really nice, really cool, cool guy shotgun for 200 bucks. Alright, utility guns. I mean, there's other stuff you know what i mean there are other things i'd love to hear your comments about it down below in the rumble video
Starting point is 00:16:12 personal these are the kind of guns that i value for day-to-day use for utility use you know what i mean i got cool guy weapons in the gun safe. And, you know, aside from shooting them at a range, I don't see them a lot. You know what I mean? I'm not doing, like, a lot with them day to day. And you might say, well, you should put your gun on and walk around with it in the woods and train with it. I know. I don't live in that kind of a scenario, right? I can't be walking around my backwoods with an AR-15 on.
Starting point is 00:16:46 My neighbors will be like, what? He's finally cracked. He's finally gone over the deep end. So it is what it is, right? Utility guns. Let's move on. One threat, one solution. It's a big one.
Starting point is 00:17:14 The CCP president. the ccp president if you want to call him that go ahead it's completely yours uh ccp president nobody's talking in the chat anyway we got some people in there watching i appreciate you guys but i gotta i gotta shut it down for a quick second because I need to read. Do I still have our Gray Man Brief up is the question. The good news is it's very easy to get to. The Gray Man Brief put out a great little thing on running an L-shaped ambush today. I've never seen them do that kind of stuff i will say what would be cool if you run these sort of small unit tactics going forward is to uh put a put a image where are we at here not the not the batif not the losers at the batif field notes government oversight subpoenaed bank records revealed by the house committee
Starting point is 00:18:06 on oversight and accountability show that president biden received direct monthly payments beginning in 2018 from a wasco pc which was hunter biden's business okay getting direct payments for my son's business what's wrong with that maybe i'm a consultant maybe you know maybe you owe me some money i don't know uh awasco received millions of dollars of chinese communist party ccp linked payments the committee has now identified this work it's wild over 20 shell companies and uncovered how the bidens and their associates raked in over 24 million dollars between 2015 and 2019 by selling joe biden as quote-unquote the brand
Starting point is 00:18:58 listen and this is from oversight.house.gov it's from the house oversight committee website this isn't from some you know shtfplan.com so what does it mean guys one of the things that it means is that we we have entered an age where the choice is very clear, right? And the choice is either justice or chaos. That's it. Now, I thought, to be honest with you, and I'm going to bring this up too, and this might blow up everything for you live streamers, but whatever. I thought that the age of justice may have been over. But I think that the age of justice and maybe even the age of Jesus are on a rebound.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Just personal, what I'm seeing. I see details. I see little flickers. I see things. And when I see those things, I... You know what I mean? Something. That might be...
Starting point is 00:20:04 What is that? And then I'll follow it and I'll see what's really going on. And I'm telling you right now, things are changing. And I think a lot of it is desperation. I think there are a lot of people who, one thing about being pelted constantly with data and information is eventually you got to make your own choice. You know what I mean? If things are going wrong in your life and you're watching other people's lives where things are going wrong and you're watching videos about other people's lives
Starting point is 00:20:33 that are going wrong, then eventually you go like, okay, what's the common denominator in the wrong and what are we missing in the right? So here's the mission. Let's talk about some other good news too, though. Yes, I mean, it's good news that a sitting president receiving money from a nation will probably be at war with in six months, between six months and six years, right? six months and six years right um is gonna be impeached if he's taking if they're funneling payments from the communist chinese party usa through shell companies owned by his son into his bank account come on man just imagine just imagine
Starting point is 00:21:23 if donald trump jr was doing business with russia and they were funneling money through his bank account into the hands of donald trump imagine the back flip that the progressive media the ccp media would do can you imagine you want to talk about manic so justice it's good to see these things i want to tell you some other things that happened over the weekend that that are very interesting man university of pennsylvania president steps down now if you were paying attention last week we talked about these idiots of the the heads of ivy league schools who were
Starting point is 00:22:05 called to the floor and answered a very simple question by a senator, which was, is it against your code of conduct to call for the genocide of Jews on the campus? And these useful idiots, these women making immense amounts of money, well-educated, well-indoctrinated, obviously well-brainwashed, were incapable of going, yes, that's against our code of conduct and those students are going to be reprimanded. They were incapable. They couldn't do it. Well, it depends on the context. My favorite was the lady who said, if they act on it, then it becomes code of conduct. You can call for the genocide. It's all good. Just don't start genociding. If you get to genociding, we're going to have a problem.
Starting point is 00:23:00 So in other words, you got to kill a Jew before you wind up getting in any trouble. It reminds me a lot about the way they expect the police to operate in America these days, right? Don't shoot nobody until you get shot a couple of times. And then we still might fire you, cancel your disability. So, uh, you pen president steps down because she knows she looked like a moron because she is a moron because she is a useful idiot that's what these people are in history these tyrannical dictators use useful idiots to get their work done at at different levels down the hierarchy of society and they convince you a normal human being who was born out of another human being, who understands they're part of this human system.
Starting point is 00:23:46 They convince you that, hmm, I know genocide's bad, but I also have been told that the Jews are bad. So maybe genocide against the Jews isn't so bad. So she's out. She's out. Round of applause. Merry Christmas. out she's out round of applause merry christmas federal judge drops massive 261 page ruling tearing apart concealed carry laws in new york state this is a big story man new york is like the supreme court is is well federal judges at large are really on it with new york like they're they're looking at new
Starting point is 00:24:26 york and going like there's no second amendment here what the hell's going on you know what i mean and i'm loving it i'm loving it so they're you know you can't you can seal carry here you can seal and i like this coming through too because they tried they're trying to do this enrichment also actually they have done this enrichment there's a whole host of places where they don't want you to conceal carry you know what i mean and and some of them are like i mean they're parks they're literal like parks where you go on a hike or down at the river you know it's crazy you can't bring a gun to the river is there mass shootings happening on the james river i've never heard of and in fact if there are mass shootings happening on the James River I've never heard of? And in fact, if there are mass shootings happening in a place,
Starting point is 00:25:08 wouldn't it make sense that if that place there should be some people who care about people, unlike politicians who have firearms to help? You have to reach out to the people doing good. Now, Representative Stefanik, S-T-F-A-N-I-K,k i think it is i sent her a big long email no i didn't i wrote her a big long message and they said i could only send 500 characters okay makes the job easier send them a message hey what you did up there rooting out these anti-semitic ivy league president pukes was god's work it was beautiful and thank you for your effort okay find out who this federal judge is find out who this federal judge is and say hey thanks for looking out for the second amendment rights of the new yorkers
Starting point is 00:25:59 you don't have to be from new york do you know probably how rarely these people get a pat on the back? Why do I bring this up? I talked about desperation. I talked about tactics, right? How many tactics haven't we tried? This one. This is a Jesus tactic too, by the way. It just is, right? How often are you overwhelmed enough to write a message to someone and say, hey, dude, good job, particularly politicians? So reach out to those people who are doing good works. Yeah, reach out to them. Reach out to the House Oversight Committee. Reach out to the people who vote, particularly if they're in your area, but even if they're not, reach out to them who vote for impeachment. There's nothing wrong. It doesn't matter. Nobody should be sitting here going, we're just picking on this old guy Biden for no reason. Right? Impeachment. Makes sense.
Starting point is 00:26:59 And if they've got the balls, then you should reach out to them and say, hey, thanks for having the balls to do it. Sorry, I don't mean to ignore you, but I'm going to jump back into the live chat room here and see what's up. Make sure we're still up and running. So that's the deal. You know what I mean? That's fundamentally the deal. The reason people don't like solutions like this because it's work on your end. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:23 It's five to 10 minutes of your life that you'd rather give over to scrolling instagram right if you want to make a difference i think this is a way to do it encouragement goes a long way man look at look at unhappy workers unhappy marriages unhappy this unhappy that was it always lacking? Encouragement, right? He never says thank you to me for all I do. Makes a difference. All right, let's get into the last two. I'm going to disappear and we're going to talk about pot pie, man.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Don't laugh. I'm going to talk about pot pie. This is one of the more SHTF chef segments because the pot pie is actually a great way to utilize tons of stuff that preppers have on hand and homesteaders likely so the pot pie is just what it is it's it's an usually a thick and gooey delicious stewy mixture in some sign some kind of oven safe um dish and on top of it is baked a crust or it can be completely baked within to like a within a pie dough itself completely completely enclosed i like them both ways i don't mind cheating and taking a little puff pastry which you can buy in your supermarket in the frozen section, cutting it into a circle and sticking it on top of the dish,
Starting point is 00:28:50 right? And then getting the sort of, you know, juxtaposition of the flaky crispy crust and the stewy delicious mixture underneath. Now, what I want to talk to you about is because most people know what a right what a pot pie is but i want to broaden your horizons right because we're talking about pot pie and most people think chicken pot pie and nothing wrong with it i mean i want one right now just talking about it but my dog ate the leftover chicken that i had so it ain't happening it's easy to turn things like leftovers into a pot pie, right? You did a little grilled chicken with a little broccoli and cauliflower and a little rice. Like if you can thicken a sauce, if you can take chicken stock, chicken broth, thicken it,
Starting point is 00:29:38 add those dice up the chicken, chop down the vegetables, add the rice, stir it up, thicken it up. You can make a pot pie out of it. You can dump that into your pot pie crust, cover it with the pie dough, cover it with the puff pastry, and bake it until it's delicious and golden brown. The beautiful thing about pot pie is most of the time, everything that goes into it's cooked. Your internals are completely cooked through. So there's no worry about like, is it underdone? Is it this? Is it that, right? That's one of the magic things. Now we preppers and we homesteaders like to can. We can stuff, right? Oh my God, honey, the green beans are going crazy. Can up the green beans. I can't
Starting point is 00:30:20 stop with these pole beans. Let's chop them up. Let's pick them. Let's chop them up. And let's can them. Right? And then you're sitting there looking at all this stuff. You got this canned meat. You got this canned soups. You got this canned veg. And you're saying to yourself, okay, now what? You can take canned veg, canned meats, and one of the best things you can do with them is turn them into a pot pie
Starting point is 00:30:45 again it goes back to being able to thicken a sauce and maybe we'll talk about rue and sauce thickening tomorrow um but another great way to utilize the canned veg the soups the leftovers the canned meats is to add cream heavy cream you know heavy whipping cream is damn near a sauce already you take heavy whipping cream you add it to your canned soup um it's automatically going to make it thicker it's going to make it richer it's you know cracked pepper fresh herbs whatever and you're going to take it to a whole nother level you're going to take it to a whole nother level. You're going to take it to a whole nother level, man. And it's a wonderful thing. Pot pies. Okay. Get into them. Get into pot pies. The other thing I'd say about the pot pie concept is learn how to work your charcoal grill to get to about 375 degrees consistently, and then learn to bake pot pie in the grill because then you have an
Starting point is 00:31:47 off-grid baking option right because that's all it is the way that i do it when i want to use that for temperature like and usually i do it for. It's big, it's long, it's called Hot Ones or something. I don't know what it's called. But anyway, there's four grill grates. Take off two grill grates, pour the charcoal in there. That's your heat source. Cook on the other two grill grates on the other side or bake over there. Manage the charcoal outside of the grill with a charcoal fire starter or charcoal starter. And then dump it in as the temperature goes down, right? You get it up to 300, 325, 375, whatever you need. You manage the charcoal outside.
Starting point is 00:32:42 You dump it in where the grates are off. Carefully. Don't spread ash all over your food. And then the heat will go back up because you add more hot fuel. It's really not hard. You know what I mean? It's really not hard. It's just trying it, doing it.
Starting point is 00:32:56 So pot pie. Okay? Get into it. Get into the pot pie of things. We're reading from the Christmas hook again today. But I'm going to be honest with you. I did not even pick where we're going to read from. I'm going to introduce you to a character named Crispy Jimbo.
Starting point is 00:33:16 How about that? You want to meet Crispy Jimbo? You see, Crispy Jimbo is one of the most interesting characters in the book, and he comes kind of out of nowhere. Where is the chapter? Yeah, here we go. Chapter 16, Crispy Jimbo. He comes kind of out of nowhere in the book, and then he becomes sort of the focal point. In 1984, James Schaefer was working at the oil refinery that splayed along the banks of the Delaware River. He had been new to the company. Actually, you know what? That's not what I want
Starting point is 00:33:53 to read. That's it. We're going to talk a little bit about the hook, but we are going to introduce Crispy Jimbo. About a quarter of the way up walnut the asphalt wall was broken off and gave way to the cement rock beneath the asphalt layer the wall also began to rise in height and was about three feet off the ground now i don't want that possessed thing in my house on christmas eve jamie jamie finally let loose we have to find out what it is and how it affects us all. It's like an experiment, Jamie. Jessica tried to convince him. Yeah, it's an experiment that's going to scare me half to death. Listen, Jamie, Jessica said. I'm sorry. Listen, Jamie, Jessica and I did a night
Starting point is 00:34:37 with the hook. We had bad dreams and nothing else came of it. You probably have bad dreams every night anyway. What if there's more to the hook, Jamie pleaded.
