You're listening to PBN.
You're playing back the stability. Welcome in, PBN family.
I hope you're enjoying the case of the disappearing national security threat.
The curious case of the rapidly disappearing national security threat that hit the news, you know, in the evening yesterday, it is all but dissolved.
The House Intelligence Committee chairman advised today that there is an urgent national security threat and asked the President Biden to classify the urgent matter with regard to destabilizing foreign military capability.
Later, an update came from our friends over at the Gray Man Brief.
Unconfirmed sources indicate the unknown, quote, grave threat is regarding Russia's
near-future deployment of nuclear capabilities in space, which could threaten satellites.
I don't want to sound like Debbie Downer.
I don't want to sound like Debbie Downer,
but it really feels more and more like we've been compromised, folks.
Duh.
So what does that mean?
Well, it means a lot.
It means a lot.
But I think what it means more importantly than anything is we have to band together.
We're at a point now where unity is everything.
We have to get outside of our stupid issues that we think are important
because survival is quickly approaching number one on the list of things to concern yourself with.
You know, I heard a statistic today from NBC News
that we have had over 100 mass shootings already this year.
Now, obviously, that's crazy.
And it goes back to how we measure and report things.
But I'm telling you right now,
get used to it, NBC News.
If things carry on the way they're carrying on, get used to it.
And rather than just report on about it and kvetch about it, right,
you better get prepared for it.
I want to talk about... So, you know, if you didn't hear about that,
that is what it is.
I am not really at all interested in...
Oh, it looks like we got a new story.
Hmm.
You know what I think we ought to do?
We ought to turn this into our One Threat, One Solution.
And then I want to discuss...
How am I going to do this?
Maybe not. Maybe not.
Maybe our One Threat, One Solution has to be the Valentine's Day Massacre.
One Thread, One Solution brought to you by the Gray Man Brief.
Major incident in Kansas City, Missouri.
You all heard about it.
February 14th, Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Parade.
Two-plus suspects, drunk, partying, big shots, big egos, gang members possibly.
Who knows?
What'd you call me?
I called you whatever I want to call you.
Shots fired.
Yeah, you know?
It is what it is. In a lawless society, it is what it is, nothing more, I don't think. Very few outlets are discussing the suspect's gun control or
statements on gun violence or dominating mainstream media coverage. You know, we've been invaded
by numerous nations, and the repercussions of that are yet to be seen and felt, but they will be.
And it's clear that there's a certain percentage of this take the guns away operation and the operatives therein that are the opposition.
And I don't mean the opposition to the Second Amendment.
I mean the opposition to the United States of America.
I noticed that because I went on Twitter to see the suspects.
Can't find the suspects anywhere.
Yesterday afternoon, two men.
The story of two men with guns was all you got.
So whenever I can't see something through the mainstream lens,
I go to the citizens, journalists, who exist on Twitter in large part.
If they do nothing, they at least take pictures and videos, you know,
and you can very quickly see what you're dealing with.
It didn't take long, but I did have to scroll through numerous posts about get rid of the guns. Republicans love mass
shootings. You know, the whole thing. And the only thing that really struck me about that,
considering what an attack the United States is under and the war that the United States is in,
you see, we're at war. If you don't understand we're at war, then I'm telling you right now,
You see, we're at war.
If you don't understand we're at war, then I'm telling you right now we're at war.
It's just not the kind of war you read about growing up.
But we're at war.
Each and every one of you listening, each and every person that you see walking down the street is at war.
They're just neglecting the reality that they're in.
And they're saying, no, not yet.
When's China going to move on Taiwan?
It doesn't matter.
China's already moved on the United States.
Wake up!
So, all that said,
I said to myself, what would be a fun thing to do?
Is to go back to 1929, almost 100 years ago.
You see how the story of the narrative of the news is being used to peddle gun control. You see how the narrative of the news is being used to peddle the nightmare of mass shooting in the United States.
100 and some mass shootings already.
in the United States.
A hundred and some mass shootings already.
I want you to look, or listen rather,
to what I found today.
From the Arizona Daily Star.
So in other words, the Thanksgiving,
I'm sorry, the Valentine's Day massacre then and now, okay?
What is this?
The Arizona Star, February 15th, 1929.
Gang war breaks out again as mob slays trapped men.
Wholesale execution brings death to seven unarmed men in Chicago where the Moran gang met.
Police commissioner says war without mercy, quote unquote.
That's some tough language.
Men are trapped, may be kidnapped.
I started scrolling through a variety of these.
You know, I found one from February 14th in Chicago, a clipping.
Now listen to this headline.
So this is Saturday, February 16th, 1929 in the Chicago Tribune.
Okay. Swanson tells police to stop gangs income. Imagine that, right? Imagine that you see the
foot soldiers of gangs all the time. They run in with hand with, with, with gym bags. They fill
them with sneakers. They take televisions. You don't think any of that goes to funding gangs and gang violence?
Must dry up Chicago or face grand jury.
Huh?
Swanson tells police to stop gangs' income.
In other words, what police used to be worried about
was not being able to stop the crime.
What they used to lose their job over was crime being, they'd lose their job in a situation
like this. They'd be hauled into a room by a sheriff, by a chief, by a sheriff, whatever,
and they'd be told, listen, if we don't get these streets under control, it's your ass.
It was so bad here that they said, dry up Chicago or face a grand jury.
That was the mentality of law enforcement, not long ago,
by the way. Now it's sit on your hands or you'll be fired. And you can see this state of affairs,
right? So almost a totally different mentality in 1929 compared to 2024, right? 95 years ago.
Must dry up Chicago or face a grand jury.
This was the aftermath of the Northside Massacre of seven members of the Bugs Moran Gang.
Action had been demanded by spokesmen for the business, civic reform, church associations.
As a result of the wholesale executions, They asked for a special grand jury investigation.
Reorganization of the police department and cooperation with all law enforcement agencies.
Some of the subheadings to this are identify gangsters pictures.
Rooming housekeeper talks.
One rooming housekeeper told the police that two months ago a man appeared at her place making a room.
One rooming housekeeper told the police that two months ago a man appeared at her place making a room.
She said the man told her he was a cab driver who worked nights and slept in the daytime.
This woman and rumor at her house were shown.
The 16 pictures received from Detroit both identified two of them.
So they were living there undercover waiting to commit the massacre, right?
Upsets Thompson's policy.
State Attorney Swanson warned that the dry lid must be clamped on instantly,
and the police commanders left the remarks to each other that the town,
quote, is to be closed up and the key thrown away,
telling the police officials they would be held to strict accountability for the future law violations. The prosecutor gave them to understand that indictments would
result if they failed to obey. Licenses to operate beverage parlors have no standing with him,
Mr. Swanson indicated, because he regarded them as camouflage to cover up booze and beer selling.
because he regarded them as camouflage to cover up booze and beer selling.
Remember, this was during Prohibition.
I don't know if I can read this part.
It's kind of like the ink and the scanning of it doesn't work. It was the prosecutor's men gleaned from the,
that the authorities will destroy the power of the gangs by shutting off the flood of money into their coffers.
This is to be done by ending booze sales in speakeasies and drink parlors
and by shutting up dives and gambling dens.
Quote, will the police break down and will they make raids without warrants or what will
they do to comply with the state's attorney's order?
The order will be obeyed.
The commissioner responded.
The order will be obeyed. The commissioner responded.
So it's just an interesting take for all of you to consider what it was like dealing with criminals and gangs 95 years ago compared to now.
I'm sure the men who tackled the guys Will probably be brought up on charges Of racism
Were you sure he was the shooter
Or did you just tackle him because he was black
Let's get into the SHTF, Chef
I don't really have a solution
We have to talk to the people who represent us
But I don't know if the people that represent us really represent us anymore.
In a situation like this, we have to get back to policing.
That's all there is to it.
And if we can't get back to policing properly,
then it's going to be chaos and it's going to be vigilantism.
Prepare yourself accordingly.
I don't know what to tell you guys anymore, to be honest.
Do you understand?
It's not something I want.
I really do think that we are meant to be
the representatives, really.
And I probably need to get off my ass
and get that going first, huh?
Anyhow, let's do some SHTF Chef, shall we?
I want to talk to you about the, today, you know, one thing a lot of preppers have,
and we don't talk enough about on SHTF Chef, is eggs.
We've talked about them in passing, but there are, the egg is a multi-tool, man. The egg is the culinary multi-tool. And one
of the things that it can do is emulsify. And emulsification is an important process to
understand, particularly for those of you who grow lettuces and spinach and kale and so on and so
forth. Because the fundamental use for emulsification is in creating your own salad dressing.
And it's not hard. It's a super easy thing to do.
But so you have two kind of classes, right, of salad dressings. You've got the unemulsified,
which is like your Italian dressing, or your dressing where the oil and the vinegar are separate.
Then you have sort of like your balsamic vinaigrette that is emulsified, creamy, sweet, delicious, lovely, wonderful.
Caesar dressing is another highly emulsified dressing.
Caesar is an incredibly egg-based dressing too.
It's a great dressing. It's a veryified dressing. Caesar's an incredibly egg-based dressing, too. It's a great dressing.
It's a very healthy dressing.
And it's one that imparts a lot of things you wouldn't expect
and could be made pretty easily with ingredients that you could store in the long term.
Like if you raised eggs, you could make an emulsified Caesar dressing, a quality Caesar, for a very long time before
you ran out of ingredients. It would really just require that you have cracked black pepper,
some kind of vinegar, the eggs, obviously, some oil, obviously, looking for a good olive oil which i hope you all store in mass and uh
a pretty decent sized wheel of pecorino romano parmigiano reggiano cheese which is a hard cheese
which basically won't go bad you know what i mean unless you subject it to heat or moisture. I mean, that thing will last a long time. And you
would use that Parmesan. You would use that, the egg yolks. Oh, you'd also need canned
anchovies, right? The best, the best Caesars have that perfect balance of creaminess and
anchovy flavor that it's kind of like, it's not anchovy dressing, but there's a hint of it, you know?
The way to emulsify with egg yolks
can be done by hand.
It can be done with a hand mixer.
It can be done in a blender.
I find that I like to whip the egg yolks,
blend the egg yolks,
whatever you're doing, until they get a little pale.
As air gets incorporated, they will get pale.
What you're looking to do is take little bits of vinegar and trap those little bits of vinegar within the fat of the egg yolk.
So let's, for an example, talk about balsamic vinaigrette, right? If I
was to make a homemade balsamic vinaigrette, I'd take an egg yolk into a, into a bowl large enough
that I could whip and add a bunch of things, right? Big bowl, big glass bowl, something like
that. And I'd whip that egg yolk maybe with a little salt until it got nice and light in color.
got nice and light in color. Okay. Then I'd add a good squeeze, a good healthy squeeze of some quality honey, because I like my balsamic vinaigrette to be sweet. And I'd whip that
together. Okay. And then I would take the olive oil and put it in a cup or put it in a squeeze
bottle or some way that I could slowly add it to the mix.
Probably the best way that I learned how to do it was to allow you pour the oil to the
side of the bowl.
So instead of pouring it straight down into your egg yolk whip mixture that you're making,
you could add a little Dijon mustard to this too.
It was really good.
But instead of pouring the oil directly in,
which can sometimes separate it,
a great way to do it is to pour the oil
onto the side of the bowl.
And by pouring it onto the side of the bowl,
it slowly sort of starts to drip down into that mix.
And if you whip quickly, you'll see the oil will start to gather around the outside of the dressing
and then will be whipped into the dressing.
And the dressing will become voluminous.
Voluminous, I guess.
It'll become thicker, paler.
Well, maybe not paler, depending.
thicker, paler. Well, maybe not paler, depending. Yeah, it may become paler, something like that,
as it goes, depending on what kind of dressing you're making. Since we're making a, oh, we forgot the most important part, balsamic vinegar, right? Put a good bit of balsamic vinegar in all of that
mix with the egg and so on um and whip it all up
i don't know if i was doing one egg yolk i guess i'd do something like
i'd probably start with like a quarter cup of balsamic vinegar whip whip whip that all in once
you have your mustard once you have your egg once you have your honey whipped up and getting pale
add your vinegar whip that up too and then start streaming in the oil. And as the oil
incorporates, incorporates, incorporates, because you're adding it slowly and whipping vigorously,
you're going to get an emulsified dressing. And that darker balsamic vinegar color is going to
start to lighten up and become sort of that purplish, you know, dark sort of dirty purplish
color that a balsamic vinaigrette looks like. You can add basil, you know, dark, sort of dirty purplish color that a balsamic vinaigrette
looks like. You can add basil, you know, all that kind of stuff to it if you want.
But the emulsification process, it's a skill that you should practice, a skill that you should know,
particularly if you raise chickens, because you have eggs. And I'm just talking to you about one
type of dressing. You could do it with any flavors, any herbs, any seasonings that you want
and create a delicious emulsified dressing for all the things
that are going to be popping soon in your garden,
whether that's radish tops, whether you're forging dandelion leaves,
whether you're growing lettuces, whatever it is.
It's all going to sort of culminate, and you're going to have a bowl full of lettuce
or a bowl full of leafy stuff.
You're rinsing off in a colander and saying,
what do I want to put on this leafy stuff?
So, yeah, get to know your eggs, man.
Emulsification.
It's pretty amazing.
It's a pretty amazing process.
You may fail, all right, but that's okay.
The emulsification process is the same as mounting a sauce with butter.
Mont-Aubert, we talked about that before on PBN Daily News.
All right.
Hey, listen.
It's routine time.
We're coming to the end here. No, we're not. We're halfway through. I'm sorry. We're're coming to the end here.
No, we're not.
We're halfway through.
I'm sorry.
We're not coming to the end.
We're halfway through the month.
How is your calm within chaos daily routine going?
It's going well.
I've got work to do today. But we're going to do some of it together right now.
Read one page of Proverbs.
We may not read a whole page together. That's a lot. But we're going to read some Proverbs, okay? Let's see. This is the
words section. I need some bumps, don't I? I need some bumps for words and things along that line.
I need some bumps for words and things along that line.
I need some time, BBN.
I need time.
I need time to sit down in the quiet with nothing to do.
Seems lately there's always something to do.
Oh, we're back on Rumble, too, by the way.
Rumble is up today, live streaming the archives,
solar power through the.0 energy solar generator.
You okay, buddy? I've got a little pit bull to the left of
me looking at me funny. What's wrong, dude? You good? Is there a fox out back? Sometimes
they'll come up to me and start whining when there's something going on out back. All right,
let's do some Proverbs. We'll call it a day, okay? Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil,
but those who promote peace have joy.
No harm overtakes the righteous,
but the wicked have their fill of trouble.
I mean, you see that.
The Lord detests lying lips,
but he delights in the people who are trustworthy.
The prudent keep their knowledge to themselves, but a fool's heart
blurts out folly. I guess that's me. Okay. Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced
labor. Yeah, I mean, wow. Discipline equals freedom. That's that right there. That's Jocko Willink. Jocko Willink, Proverbs 12, 24.
Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor. It's true.
You got to do the things that need doing. Anxiety weighs down the heart. This is the one I need
right now. Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up. Yeah, maybe that's true.
Maybe that's what my meditation will be about later
today. The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads
them astray. The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the
hunt. So I see where we're at in Proverbs today. right? We're wrapped up in this concept of work for what you earn.
Novel, novel, novel theory this day and age.
And one that doesn't always work out, right?
Sometimes you can't help but see people eating much better than you
on the government dole.
I appreciate you guys, and thank you so much for joining me today on PBN Daily News. It is Thursday night. Look forward to the tool man. Look forward
to the gunmetal armory and enjoy it all. All right. I will talk to you guys tomorrow. What if you could pack American-made shelf-stable protein into your food storage?
When Say Grace Plant Protein approached me, I was on the fence.
They taught me their product is not TVP.
TVP is actually a byproduct of the soybean oil industry.
This is phytoestrogen-free, shelf-stable, plant-based protein. For your health today or doomsday.
20 grams of protein per serving, 90 calories.
