You're listening to PBM.
You're playing back the stability. Good Monday morning. Welcome into PBN Daily News.
Your path back to stability.
It's good to be back on the air.
Did I take a big break?
We were at a very slow week last week
and you know what?
I feel really good about it.
We put out such content
that we probably could stand
to take a whole week off.
But the hosts, myself included,
we're far too passionate
about the topic and the times
to even imagine
shutting our mouths for a full week.
But I hope I gave you a lot of time to catch up.
Because, you know, the way these things go, see, there's an ebb and flow with podcast creation.
The way that these things go is this week's probably going to be a monster.
We're starting out with Prepper Fiction bestseller DJ Cooper, and she's always a great
guest. I mean, she's deeply embedded in, very similar, her and I, deeply embedded in the prepping
community, you know, through writing, through podcasting, and now through a number of other
endeavors. So we'll talk to her tonight on Preppers Live, 8 p.m. Eastern time.
Yeah, it's going to be a good one.
It's going to be a good one.
Well, we already really kicked it off with the less than lethal discussion with the Matter of Facts guys this morning, which is always great.
Them guys, you know, what a pickup.
You know, like the PBN draft pick.
So real quick on the preparedness side of things.
Kale, arugula, spinach, lettuce, all in rock wool sprouting right now in the sunlight through the windows, those keeping warm and going to populate the indoor hydroponic system
that I'm going to build out probably this week, actually,
because once we get some roots coming through that rock,
well, we can get started.
If you joined us for our Food Security Network Masterclass,
you heard me talk about the capabilities and the possibilities of growing food indoors.
I think growing food indoors is going to become a thing, you know.
And the reason it's become a thing in my head finally, you know, originally it was my idea to do it outdoors.
Originally, it was my idea to do it outdoors.
But the reason it's become an idea indoors for me is not just to combat the cold and to get things going early,
but also a convenience matter as well, right?
Like, why wouldn't you want to have a bunch of cool lettuces and herbs and leafy, healthy greens growing inside the house if you can? You know, my kids, they like that kind of stuff. I don't
know about your children, but my kids, they eat that stuff. They'll walk over and pluck
that stuff off. Better to eat a leaf of kale from our hydroponics or aquaponics. Which
one? Hydroponics. Growing indoors, you know, than a multivitamin or whatever made of gummy and who knows how old, right?
Something along those lines.
But, yeah, that's one of many things that we have going on on our side.
I'll let you tune into PBN to find out about a lot of the other stuff that's happening all over the network.
You know, it really is seed sprouting time, though, so keep that in mind.
Garden planting, seed sprouting time.
One of the things you might want to consider that you haven't yet is trees.
Trees.
What are the trees doing in your neighborhood to block the sun from your garden this year?
You know, one thing that happens constantly we often forget about is trees grow. They grow, they get bigger, they get taller, the limbs get longer. And before
you know it, they start to encroach on your, you know, six to eight hours or more of sun per day.
And your garden will pay for that. You know, your garden will certainly take my word for it.
All right. So it's time.
It's very, very alarming supply chain news.
We're going to get into now with one thread and one solution.
Let's do it. Our friends over at the Gray Man Briefing bring to us,
actually this came in last week just so that our timing is right
and you understand what's going on with what.
This is a supply chain slash labor force brief brought to you by the Gray Man Briefing.
Insulin supply sees immediate impact after NOVA discontinued sales in the U.S.
Okay, NOVO nor DISC.
Quote, NOVO nor DISC.
I don't have anybody in my family that requires insulin, okay,
but you need to pay attention to this if you have a loved one or are someone who requires insulin. Novo Nordisk will discontinue
its long-acting insulin Levamir. That probably rings a bell. Effective December 2024. Some
Levamir products, FlexPen, will stop in April. Did you hear me? April. The FlexPen will stop in April.
Disruptions are occurring at this time after a mid-January impact time frame was projected.
Novo recommended that healthcare providers talk to their patients, of course. Novo has elected
to stop producing its long-lasting insulin, citing global manufacturing issues, decreasing patient
coverage, and available alternative replacements. Novo indicates supply
chain impacts would worsen throughout the year. Did you hear that? Novo indicates supply chain
impacts would worsen throughout the year as existing supplies dwindle. That's legit. That's
real, okay? Reuters implied that Novo stopped American distribution following significant U.S. government coerced price cuts.
Further supporting this thought, the product is not discontinued for other countries.
Okay. So this is a two-tier sort of situation to wrap your head around.
It builds around supply chain, it builds around first aid. It builds around overall health, right?
It is the government's in there saying,
we want your product at this price.
And they're saying,
you're not getting our product at this price.
And the government's saying, oh, yes, we are.
And then the company says, okay,
well, you won't get it at all.
And then they're also citing, you know,
availability concern.
Now this availability, I don't know.
I don't know all the politics in the story.
The point of it to you is what we've been talking about for three, four years now, right?
Supply chain disruptions, alternative everything.
Taking matters into your own hands as well.
taking matters into your own hands as well.
You know, there is a chance, depending on your condition,
that through diet and exercise fundamentally you can affect your diabetes.
I mean, I'm not saying it because it's a conspiracy. I'm saying I've seen my pre-diabetic father-in-law fight off diabetes
just through diet and exercise.
And for those of you who are out there who are insulin dependent,
I mean, this is a serious prep for you.
It's not something I'd put off any longer.
Medications in general, not something I'd put off any longer.
There are great companies out there, the Wellness Company, Jace Medical, these guys are all offering like years worth of prescriptions now. Okay, now's the
time. Now's the time to invest in that. You cannot invest in a year's worth prescription of what you
need to survive after an event, you know? I published something from the Gray Man briefing, actually, on Instagram
that was wildly popular.
I mean, it was insanely popular.
And that's because these briefs are great, you know.
They're information dense and, you know.
Let's see.
Yeah, we reached 15,000 people. But it was about the fact that China's hackers are positioning on American infrastructure in preparation to wreak havoc and cause real-world harm to American citizens and communities.
this, I said, you know, if you think about it on land, if China were staging tanks on the Mexico and Canadian border, if China were staging naval craft in the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean,
we'd be saying, we're about to go to war. This could get real bad. And we'd be taking action.
The staging of forces is happening in the digital world.
It's a digital staging of forces.
It's get all of our cyber soldiers' fingers deep within the infrastructure of the U.S.
So when we go into Taiwan and the U.S. decides to putter the Gerald Ford over,
we got something for him.
Okay?
So what does all that mean?
I mean, to you it's very simple.
It's the on-grid, off-grid balance I always talk about.
It's using this year, using money, using time, using effort
to create an on-grid, off-grid balance for yourself and your family.
That's what it is.
For those of you who are unaware, the on-grid, off-grid balance for yourself and your family. That's what it is. For those of you who are unaware,
the on-grid, off-grid balance is just a matter of
living on the grid like most of us want to.
We love our hot water.
We love our endless power.
We love turning the faucet on and having it run, run, run, run, run,
clean, potable water.
But it's about building infrastructure
like off-grid hot water heaters,
off-grid showers, smokers, cooking implements for outside and outdoors that can work when your electric stove doesn't work anymore, when your propane runs out, right?
stage water filter build in off-grid projects is everybody should have one of those first of all or at least know how to make it it's so cheap and so easy you can make it from things you find on
your own property basically um but all those things that make the day that you wake up and go
i guess the power companies and the water companies have been cyber attacked so severely
that they don't want us to drink the water.
It's unsafe.
And we don't have any power to power this phone that's dying.
Right?
So now you're out of power.
You're out of water.
How long would you last in a situation like that?
Now is the time to build that up, right?
In this podcast, you're going to see a PBN links link tree.
It says PBN links down in the description of the podcast.
Go there, buy the off-grid projects book if you don't have it yet. Hard copy, put it on your shelf, and slowly start to build out those projects for yourself and your family.
And the day that we go off-grid, because war equals off-grid, right?
War equals off-grid.
We go to war with China, we're going to be off-grid.
There's no way we go full-scale war with China over Taiwan
and they don't shut power off somewhere and water off somewhere
and gas off somewhere and gasoline off somewhere, right?
There's no way. It's going to be a cyber war.
And who knows what kind of operatives they have in the nation
who can do stuff manually.
So we have to be aware of this stuff.
We have to be prepared, right?
Let's get into words and then we're going to call it a day.
I know I've got to bring the SHTF chef back.
I apologize.
But not today.
Not today.
So our words section of the show, it is February, guys.
It is the month of romantic love and black history and all the great presidents and
whatever else we can cram in here. But it's a good time to read from Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
It's a short one. It's a short one. It's called Nuptial Sleep. It's actually not the full sonnet. Oh, it is the full sonnet.
It's just back here. Is it? Nope. It's just a snippet. Five, six lines from Nuptial Sleep,
which is a great one. You know, if you're into the married love lifestyle, right? Sleep sank them lower than the tide of dreams,
and their dreams watched them sink and slid away.
Slowly their souls swam up again through gleams of watered light and dull, drowned waifs of day,
till from some wonder of new woods and streams
he woke and wondered more,
for there she lay.
Dante Gabriel was a master, okay?
And say he's got some really good stuff
outside of just the lovey-dovey pod,
I mean, sonnets,
but he does them better than anybody, I think.
I think he might even do them better than Shakespeare.
Just, you know, my opinion.
One man's opinion on the matter.
We do suffer in this country, though,
from a lack of focus on really sort of,
I don't want to even call it old-school romantic love,
but the courtship of and the idolatry in some ways
of romantic love.
We do. We suffer it.
We suffer not taking full advantage of it.
And it makes life way better.
It just does, right?
All right, folks.
Get into your Calm Within Chaos routines this week, man.
It is, I guess it's the first full week of February, right?
If you haven't got your Calm Within Chaos routine,
it's available for everybody.
All right, sign up for the newsletter.
I'll send it back out this week with the newsletter.
It's in Element.
It's posted around social media.
Find it.
All right, Do some legwork
Actually no
Can I
What can I link to it
Hmm
Maybe I'll make a post for you
Since I'm such a nice guy
I can make a Calm Within Chaos post
For you guys
And link to it in the PBN links
Down in the description
That's what I'll do
So Get into the routine.
Okay. Alternate days, A and B, daily intermittent fasting. Right now I'm intermittent fasting,
23 minutes past my limit and I'm starving. Day A, day B. Um, I'm back on Day A again. I got my cold exposure this morning.
Sat outside with my dog.
I don't know, 25 degrees, something along those lines.
No shirt. She was walking around doing her thing.
I was sitting there, heavy breathing, finding the will to stay out there.
We got threat resource mapping activities on day A.
We got the 50 on day A.
We got our gratitude prayer on day A.
A lot of good stuff, guys.
Get with it.
Get with the program in 2024.
You really want to make improvements.
This is how you do it.
I could be beating you up and down about becoming a member, joining membership, member, member, member, pay the bills for the network. But instead, I've decided to focus
efforts here, you know, on this routine thing. This February routine is likely to make me zero
dollars and zero cents. It's going to make me a lot better at certain things. But the true
motivation is to collect as many of you
and get as many of you around this routine. And hopefully you guys see the improvements too.
All right. I will talk to you guys soon, folks. Don't miss tonight's show Preppers Live. All
right. DJ Cooper, D Cooper from Prepper Podcast Network, the Posh Podcast Network now, a variety of books.
I can't even keep up with all the books she's published, but she's a prolific Prepper fiction author.
So, yeah, don't miss it.
We'll talk about it all.
She does her own expo now, too.
We'll talk about it.
Great guest.
Don't miss it tonight.
Preppers Live.
Talk soon. What if you could pack American-made, shelf-stable protein into your food storage?
When Say Grace Plant Protein approached me, I was on the fence.
They taught me their product is not TVP.
TVP is actually a byproduct of the soybean oil industry.
This is phytoestrogen-free, shelf-stable, plant-based protein.
For your health today or doomsday.
20 grams of protein per serving, 90 calories.
