Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to P.B.N. You're playing Back to Stability. Good day, PBN family. It is Tuesday. James Walton here, intrepid commander at the Prepper Broadcasting Network, bringing you PBN Daily News. You know the deal. This is your path back to stability in these seemingly unstable times. Big announcement up front. We might do several announcements.
Starting point is 00:00:54 We have a lot going on all the time. There's only one announcer. It's me, all right? I try to give everybody their time in the sun because we've got big people doing big things all the time here at PBN. It's a wonderful group. Please dig in to the Prepper Broadcasting Network. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:01:12 Join the chats. Become a member. Do all the things. Go to PBNFamily.com. Join the newsletter. Do all the stuff, man. Like this idea of an isolated and lonely epidemic racing through the United States of America
Starting point is 00:01:29 and people who are concerned and nervous about the future of the nation and elections and wars and so, like, I'm right here, you know? Everybody. We've got legions behind us, you know? Incredible people. Dig in deep. I know it's fun to watch Joe Rogan and do all that kind of stuff. But I say it time and time again, man, prepping will alleviate anxiety.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Not listening to me talk about it, not listening to one of the hosts talk about it, but actually doing it. It will literally alleviate anxiety out of your life. Stephen Menking, the man behind Reliance. For those of you who haven't listened to Reliance, it doesn't matter if you're religious or not. Listen to Reliance. Okay? You can go to the PrepperBroadcasting.com website and search Reliance. The full catalog of Reliance shows will come up and
Starting point is 00:02:26 you can listen to steven menking okay he's coming on i am liberty wednesday night 9 p.m eastern to talk about gold and silver and finance and probably god and probably culture and those kinds of things you know i haven't this is going to be a great week for me. You got to understand. All right. I had an hour plus conversation with Dave Jones, the NBC guy, got caught up with him. That was great. You know, he is, uh, he is my older brother from another mother, Dave Jones. We've had a lot of fun in life. And Stephen Menking is largely my spiritual leader, man. Like that's who that guy is to me at the highest level. He's the guy who opened the door for me. Him and one of his allies.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Oh, God. Can't think of his name. It's been too many years. He and his ally, the guy who introduced me to Stephen Menking, was another guy I had long conversations about God and Jesus about years and years ago. And ever since, you know, Stephen's kind of been holding my hand and opening doors for me in terms of like, you know, open up to him. The rigors of the religion are not as important as his forgiveness for you.
Starting point is 00:03:50 And I can't, you know, how certain people come along in life, you're indebted to them forever. Right? There's no way out. I try to remind, and any man out there with children should remind their wives that same thing. It's like it doesn't matter what we do. How can you ever pay off the debt of the children that your wife has given you? You're forever indebted. That's why I hate when I hear people say, we got pregnant.
Starting point is 00:04:24 No, we did not get pregnant. She got pregnant. She dealt with that. She created that. You know what I mean? You just played around and got involved in the fun part. And you obviously supported her, but... What's all this we business? Hey, I got some news for you that I would like to explore more, but I think is very important and is just a little, as I was gathering intel for today's One Threat, One Solution, I came across this little note, just a little blurb. You know what, maybe I'll search it up.
Starting point is 00:05:03 Let's search it up real quick. Hey, the Freedom March begins today. little blurb you know what maybe i'll search it up let's search it up real quick hey the freedom march begins today get out and run lift walk hike canoe bike whatever you do you can even lift weights you're not going to get a link to this thing until i do an activity so i might have to do an early you know like a mid-morning run. And then I'll get you the link through our email. Like, I'll send an email blast out. Again, pbnfamily.com. Sign up for the newsletter. Why aren't you signed up for the newsletter? I don't pelt people. You see, the newsletter is solution only, just so you know. If you're out there listening to me and you're like,
Starting point is 00:05:42 I don't want any more bad news. We don't do news. The newsletter is void of news. The newsletter is solution based and sponsor based fundamentally. It's fundamentally what the newsletter is. You get an EPC every week, election preparedness campaign, election preparedness advice every week. Right. You get a list of the best shows of the week. So you can go back and listen to them if you want to. preparedness campaign, election preparedness advice every week, right? You get a list of the best shows of the week, so you can go back and listen to them if you want to.
Starting point is 00:06:16 You'll get our three survival tips, wilderness, urban survival, tactical, right? And then you get a slew of other information about discounts and deals and, you know, stuff from our great sponsors. I don't know. It's a no-brainer to me. It's a no-brainer to me, and it never comes with bad news. A lot of newsletters come with terrible news stories that just drive you crazy. So let's talk about this good news before we get into One Threat, One Solution. At least it looks good on the face of it. before we get into One Threat, One Solution.
Starting point is 00:06:43 At least it looks good on the face of it. The Indian pharmaceutical industry is preparing to address drug shortages in the U.S. The sector is reportedly gearing up to ensure that essential medications remain available despite ongoing supply chain issues. I want you to think about that, man. That's a thing. I mean, this is a thing. Let's see if I can find gearing up. American shortages.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Okay, let's look at that. Business Today. How old is this article? So you got to get up to date stuff 28 days ago Come on now That ain't cutting it 27 days ago
Starting point is 00:07:37 19 days ago I think this one at the top here Might be the one Let's see Yeah April 30th Not too bad Pretty far away though Top here. Might be the one. Let's see. Yeah, April 30th. Not too bad. Pretty far away, though. Just hearing about it now. Record U.S. drug shortage a positive for Indian pharma companies.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Fractures in supply chain compounded by stringent regulatory oversight is causing ripples in generic drug manufacturers' production capacity in the U.S. This is huge news, guys. I mean, India and China, they're allies, but they're also fighting each other on the border. So, you know, do with that what you will. You know, to some degree they're allies, right? But to some degree they're also enemies. Whatever. In light of elevated levels of active drug shortages in the United States,
Starting point is 00:08:24 of elevated levels of active drug shortages in the United States, India pharmaceutical companies such as Aurobindo, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, and Gland Pharma are projected to make significant strides, analysts from trading platform IIFL Securities have said. So this is a partnership that is building or being built at the moment, you know? Let's see if my co-pilot over at Microsoft says anything interesting worth noting. While Biden administration has proposed a roadmap to address the market issues, Indian companies face their own challenges, including increased plant inspections by the U.S. FDA and supply chain disruptions, particularly for active pharmaceutical ingredients, key starting
Starting point is 00:09:08 material supplies from China. Overall, the current drug shortage in the U.S. So that's important. That's important. That came from AI, by the way. But that's an important little thing. But that's an important little thing. So supply chain disruptions still are affecting active pharmaceutical ingredients and key starting material supplies from China. So those key materials are still coming from China. The good thing is, though, if India gets into this, if the Indian pharmaceuticals get into this and they start making U.S. money, right, selling to U.S. doctors and things like that, then, you know, they're eventually going to say, because the Indian folk, man, they're smart, they're eventually going to say, you know, why are we using China as a middleman for these ingredients? And that's what we want.
Starting point is 00:10:08 these ingredients. And that's what we want. I mean, look, that's what we want. Everything you can do, everything you can do to pull industry from the Chinese that we depend on and put it either in our hands, Mexican hands, if we can get that situations fixed, or, you know, India, places like that, anywhere outside of China. So we can't have your mortal enemy on the face of the planet making your medicine. Right? It's like hiring someone from Hamas to be your personal chef. You know what I'm saying? Come on in, cook me some pork. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:10:40 It's only going to last so long. You're going to get killed, poisoned, you know? It's not going to work so long. You're going to get killed, poisoned. It's not going to work. So it's good news. Not every day has to be doom and gloom. I hope you listened to last night's show with Dave and I. A lot of good information in there. We talked a lot about death, but we talked a lot about life as well.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Yeah, man. Check that one out. Check that one out. I? Check that one out. I just got one of those eerie feelings that my mic is on mute. Thank heavens it's not. Oh, God, it's Tuesday, guys. Thank you for this, man. I mean that.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Thank you. I just got that weird feeling. I just got that weird overwhelming feeling about, like, you're doing life. This is it. You're in it. You're talking to your audience. You have built an audience. You, you know, all this stuff feels good.
Starting point is 00:11:33 Wow. Thank you. Let's get into One Threat, One Solution. We're talking gas-a-hall today on One Threat, One Solution. Let's do it. All right. PBN family. Republicans have cautioned President Biden against utilizing the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as a potential instrument amid increasing summer gas prices.
Starting point is 00:12:08 They argue that using the SPR in this manner could compromise national security. Joe Biden thinks that we can print gas the same way we print dollars, I think. I think he has that in his head. I think there's something going on. There's a disconnect. There's a chocolate chip ice cream disconnect in that brain of his. And he's thinking, we can just use that SPR up the same way we use up, you know, the same way we print trillions of dollars. Fine. No big deal. Either that or, you know, the big question in all this is,
Starting point is 00:12:42 is the Biden administration lost and confused and inept and ineffective? Or are they the enemy? Right? Isn't that it? You have to look at the moves and the decisions that they make and ask those questions. That's the question. Are they compromised or are they just completely inept, you know, like, like so dug into their religion of wokeism and equality and save the planet and, you know, that religion, whatever we want to call that, we need to come up
Starting point is 00:13:13 with a name for that religion. Because it's an encompassing religion, right? It's a DEI, woke, save the planet, white people suck, religion. Religion. And they're either so dogmatic that they will just make bad decision after bad decision, or they're captured. They're compromised. And Joe Biden's just saying, you know, this is part of the game. We use up the strategic petroleum reserves so that when China makes their move, we have issues getting fuel.
Starting point is 00:13:54 And we can't work the way that we need to work as a military. That's it. You know, you can look at almost every crazy thing this dude has done. Well, we just keep printing, print, print, print, print, devalue the currency so that the U.S. dollar can't get what it normally gets, and then if war comes or struggles come, we can't, you know, the buying power of the U.S. dollar has died off. Or we need to be equal. We shouldn't be such a dominant empire on the world stage, so we'll just devalue the currency so we fit in with everybody else.
Starting point is 00:14:21 Yay, equality. Equality. No food, no fuel. Doesn't it feel good to be equal? And we can talk about that. Gasoline prices are increasing as the summer driving season commences. This is from the Gray Man Brief, by the way. The increased demand for fuel coupled with supply constraints
Starting point is 00:14:44 has led to higher prices at the pump the trend is expected to continue throughout the summer affecting consumers worldwide now the the funny thing about that is i remember not long ago reading a big bunch of news about biden and gasoline and oh my god he's doing incredible so what's happening what's happening? What's happening? May 21, Biden to release 1 million barrels of gasoline in bid to lower prices. Biden low in gasoline prices. No.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Biden drilling. You know, he did come out the other day and say, wow, listen to this from the Tampa Free Press 21 minutes ago. Pennsylvania fracking just might hold the key to realizing Biden's EV dreams. That's a complicated headline. What the hell does that mean? Here you go. The Washington Times. Biden burned by critics for tapping gasoline reserve to lower prices, cover up anti-energy agenda.
Starting point is 00:15:58 Oh, maybe I was wrong. Maybe I read the headline wrong. Biden administration bans drilling in nearly half of Alaska. That seems like a bad move. Biden said he would stop drilling, then reality hit. Okay, let me get out of this rabbit hole here. Let me get out of this rabbit hole here. So what's to come? What's to come? Well, we can look to our friends in the south. Not south in the U.S., but even further south. In Tijuana, Mexico, nearly half of the gas stations have shut down due to a gasoline shortage. This shortage is causing significant disruptions for residents and travelers who rely on these gas stations for fuel.
Starting point is 00:16:53 So you need a solution, right? You need a one threat, one solution. I'm going to talk to you about storing gasoline and rotating gasoline, but I want to read to you something from my book, No Grid Survival Projects. But I got to find it first. Because what we have in that book, apart from like almost every one threat, one solution, some form of the solution fits inside of, or it can be found inside of this book. This book is so comprehensive with a variety of things. How to make biofuel at home. How to make a mini root cellar. That's a really cool build, but that's not what I'm looking for. How to build storage.
Starting point is 00:17:37 DIY smokehouse. EMP-proof cloth. Where is it? Natural remedies. You know what? I guess I have to flip through the back and just look for gas cans. Because I can't find it. If you don't have some sort of a system for rotating gas,
Starting point is 00:17:54 if you don't have Stabil, if you don't have these things sort of in your planning, now's the time. Okay? Now's the time to figure it out. Now's the time to put a plan together. Dave Jones, the NBC guy, keeps 80 gallons of gas on hand. I don't keep quite as much. How to build a fuel storage, how to build a fuel storage, and how to preserve it. Yeah, this is a good modern society, heavily
Starting point is 00:18:26 dependent on fossil fuels, fuel storage containers, how much fuel to store, preserving gasoline and diesel. Gasoline begins to break down rapidly after as little as 30 days. It's got fuel stabilizers. It's got information on rotating your fuel stores, building your long-term fuel storage. your fuel stores, building your long-term fuel storage. Jerry Cairns, Stabil talks about how to create your own system. Michael Klein talks about a great month-to-month system. And I think it's a great system. I really do. You know, it takes 12 or 6. You could probably get away with 6 even if you didn't want to do 12. But it takes 12 gas cans, each labeled with masking tape in a month. Okay? So, and the storage of that gasoline tells you what month you've got it, right?
Starting point is 00:19:22 What month you filled that thing up, and then naturally when to use it. So if I had my June gas can, I would already have used – so, okay, let's go with May, right? I had my May gas can storage. At the end of the month, the goal is to utilize that gas, knowing good and well that you have June all the way to the next year full. And you do that. You can also increase the time, right? You could say, like, by June, I want to use all my April gas.
Starting point is 00:20:02 I'll keep the May gas because it's only a month old. And then boom, boom, boom, you work your way around every month. And, of course, the important thing is I use the April gas, use it all up, put it in a generator, put it in a car, whatever you do with it, and then refill it, right? Then you refill it, boom, and go. Keep going. So, yeah, and it puts you in a position where you can know exactly how old the gas is.
Starting point is 00:20:36 If you put stable in it, then you can know that, all right, I just finished May, and that gas I got last May, so now I need to use that up because it's a year old, right? I might have confused you with the April talk because I was confused. But that's why it's important to have a system of your own. You know what I mean? But the Michael Klein system, the 12 gas can system he's talked about in his shows in the past, that's that system, and it's a great idea because at the very least you can know this gas has been labeled at this time. It was filled up on this month, and it's a year old now.
Starting point is 00:21:06 I have to use it. But having 12 cans means you always have a year's worth of fuel if you manage it like that. If you use the old and refill, then you always have not 12 months' worth of gas, but you have 12 containers of gas. Whatever size you decide on is up to you, right? You know. Or, or, you could just put gas in plastic bags like they did when colonial gas was hacked. Do you remember?
Starting point is 00:21:38 Do you remember the people putting gas in five-gallon buckets and trash cans and plastic bags. That was my favorite. When you see a population truly lose their mind, it's always fun. It's always fun when you see a population truly realize just how out of touch they are in the whole nine. All right. Let's get into SHTF Chef. We're talking breakfast today. Looks like there's some turbulence up ahead.
Starting point is 00:22:09 To continue down this. We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network. Your path, act as stability. All right, folks, we're talking Western omelet today, running the mill. Either you know it or you don't know it. I thought I'd talk to you today about egg cookery and about my breakfast. Because I got some good ham in the fridge and I thought to myself, you know, one of my favorite omelets of all is the good old Western omelet.
Starting point is 00:22:42 But commonly, you go to a diner, you order a Western omelet, you get, you know, American or cheddar cheese. You get peppers, onions, you get diced ham. Great. It's just phenomenal. Phenomenal omelet. It's one of the best. For me, I like to sub the green pepper with the jalapeno pepper diced. So you, you, you begin with the ham, right?
Starting point is 00:23:13 You're heating the ham up in the pan, maybe a little butter, everything in egg cookery. I like to primarily use butter. Very rare. Maybe if I'm doing like a frittata with shrimp or chicken or something like that with parsley and garlic and red chili flake, I might do an olive oil. But for the most part, bacon fat or oil, I mean, or butter for egg cookery. The French are the best at cooking eggs, and they cook everything in butter. I think it's—they just go well together. And isn't that weird that they go well together? Like, who set that up?
Starting point is 00:23:52 Who—like, all the things, right, that could have wound up working together on a farm and things along those lines. It's so weird that eggs and butter go so well together. It's not like cows and chickens had been roaming the earth together forever. It would have been like, your babies and my milk whisked at a tremendous rate would really taste good together. You know what I mean? So, you're going to saute up your diced ham. I like to get it a little crispy.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Add in your onions and your diced jalapenos. This is where knife skills come into play. Remember we talked about knife skills a couple weeks ago. You want your ham, peppers, onions to be diced around the same size. This is the key, you know what I mean, to making this a really good time. So you, same thing, saute your onions, saute your peppers, spread them around the pan, you know, four eggs whisked into the pan, and the pan has to be on medium low. You know, once you get, once you get the translucent look on the onion, that's when you got to take the pan off the heat, turn the pan down to medium-low heat.
Starting point is 00:25:06 You know, you should never be really cooking eggs on medium-high heat or high heat. You're just ruining everything. So medium-low heat, boom. If you want to expedite the process or whatever, if you're really into like an omelet that's well done, you don't want any gooeyness, then you can put a lid on top of your pan. That's a pretty cool little method. And it'll cook it from both sides. It cooks it pretty quickly with steam. Not my cup of tea. I don't mind a little goo in my omelet. But anyway, I also like to use a nice
Starting point is 00:25:44 wide pan because I like a thin omelet. You know, I don't like like a big thick omelet. But anyway, I also like to use a nice wide pan because I like a thin omelet. You know, I don't like like a big thick omelet that folds over in half. I like a thin omelet. I use a lot of eggs. So I use a nice wide pan. Maybe three to four slices of cheese. Today I'm going to use Munster cheese in my omelets. It's going to be unbelievable. Right? Wait for that to melt a bit. unbelievable, right? Wait for that to melt a bit, and then I don't know how you do it, but I do the three-fold, right? So I'll fold the right side in half and the left side in half. I like to flip the omelet over to the fold side and take it all off the heat and let it sit. The thing about egg cookery is time off the heat, the eggs are still cooking.
Starting point is 00:26:30 So you don't have to cook them to complete doneness over a stove. Like your pan has more than enough heat in it to finish your eggs and to melt your cheese and do all those things. And then enjoy. You know what I mean? Enjoy. I was going to read you guys, which I guess I can still. I was talking about Rugby Chapel yesterday when we were talking about men and tides, the tides of men. And I thought maybe that might be too long, but we can read this short stanza. It's not super short, but it's important. This by Matthew Arnold from the unbelievable Victorian poetry book, Ten Major Poets by Martin, published by Random House.
Starting point is 00:27:14 It's an old book. It's my second copy I purchased because I love it so much. rugby chapel um this is line 58 it's a very long poem i've never even read the whole poem i need to sit down and read the whole thing because it's so good it's you know 200 plus lines what is the course of the life of mortal men on earth most men eddie about here and there, eat and drink, chatter and love and hate, gather and squander, are raised aloft, are hurled in the dust, striving blindly, achieving nothing. And then they die, perish. And no one asks who or what they have been, more than he asks what waves in the moonlit solitudes mild Of the midmost ocean have swelled Foamed for a moment and gone
Starting point is 00:28:14 PBN family, that is the course of the life of mortal men For the most part You may be happy with that But if you're not It's time to get your nose to the grindstone.
