You're listening to PBN.
You're paying back the stability. Welcome in Friday, PBN Daily News.
So glad to have you here.
Sorry we haven't done a PBN Daily News in some time.
Just is what it is, you know.
Just is what it is.
Busy week, a lot of ideas, a lot of passions boiling out of the commander.
And, you know, those things happen here at the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
We're heading into a big weekend.
Carl B. The Strange Truth will be on air in a matter of hours.
One of my absolute favorites.
Powerful, powerful intro
into always a great and thoughtful show, Carl B.
We love him.
But, you know, we're a dynamic group here.
You know, this Prepper Broadcasting Network
collection of hosts, get to know them.
Get to know them.
Share them with your friends and family.
Introduce them to Carl B.
Introduce them to Jay Ferg.
Introduce them to the guys over at the Matter of Facts podcast.
The thunderous voice of Al Douglas Hogan.
The tag team attack of the future danger with Ben and future Dan.
Sort of basically our news show for the week, really.
I mean, we have so many great, you know, the master class of herbal remedies with Judson Carroll,
the dynamic sort of almost sibling-like relationship and all that they bring to the table with The Changing Earth with Sarah and Chin,
to the table with the Changing Earth with Sarah and Chin,
the multitudes of relationships and shows that we experience with our incredible inclusion of the Matter of Facts podcast
and raising values here at PBN.
Stephen Menking is back on Sundays.
You know, it's our Thursday night.
Our Thursday night.
I mean, I guess I would call that double barrel Thursday,
you know, maybe they deserve the double barrel now, right, the one-two punch of the gunmetal armory and tool man Tim, I mean, that's devastating, you know, very proud of what we do here,
okay, I hope you're taking full advantage of it at this time.
I hope you're sharing it with people.
You know, I don't want to put anybody on blast, but I actually had a host come to me last night
and tell me that their family wanted some PBN memberships.
They were interested.
That means a lot, man.
That means a lot.
You know what I mean? People are looking for this kind of information.
Real quick before we get into our One Threat, One Solution news, and this is a wild days, 12 days away now from How to Build Your Food Security Network Masterclass at the end of the month.
It's going to be January 31st, 9 p.m.
It'll be live masterclass with Q&A, all about food in 2024, how to put it away, how to make sure you have it, how to avoid starvation under any circumstances.
Members, you're all invited. You're all free.
Anybody who's not a member, you can join us for the evening.
The cost of the event is $60,
or you can become a member for the year,
which also costs $60.
You do the math. you figure it out.
I would not miss this, okay?
Honestly.
If food is a concern of yours,
if you want to sleep better at night,
no matter what kind of headlines you read,
I would highly recommend you set aside some time,
January 31st, all right?
This class will be delivered as a link with a chat room,
and we'll get going from there.
If you're not a member and you don't want to become a member
between now and then, then just give me a private message, okay?
Message me through the website, prepperbroadcasting.com.
Tell me, hey, I want to get in on this thing.
I'm not going to have a sign-up on the website.
You know, it's just not, it's not, that's not how we do our masterclass.
The members know the deal.
They get to come in and enjoy it.
And this fun is rare.
I'm opening it up for everybody because I think the topic itself is so powerful.
I'm opening it up for everybody because I think the topic itself is so powerful. And, you know, this food security network is something that I've been working on personally since 2020, basically.
Since 2020, I started putting together this idea in my head that was like, what is the full scope of food production and food procurement look like?
And we're going to get into it. All right. Now, one threat, one solution. Let's do it.
This is a wild one, man. This is a wild one. Our friends at the Gray Man Brief have brought us government oversight, federal government
collusion with banks. There's a good side to this and a bad side to this. I want you to understand
that there are some heroes out there. New documents reveal the federal government colluded
with banks without legal process to surveil citizens who made purchases that contained the words now listen to this this is what's most first of all i don't i
don't know if this is incompetence as much as it is hilarious as much as it is telling as much as
it is sad okay new documents reveal the federal government colluded with banks without legal process to surveil citizens who made
purchases that contained the words Trump, Bass Pro Shop, or Bible. I think what I might do today,
I might, I got a very busy day. What I would like to do today is I'd like to go make a purchase that
contains the word Trump, and then I'd like to go to Bass Pro Shops,
and then I'd like to buy a new Bible today. I'd like for the government to know exactly
who they're surveilling. I'd like them to know that they should be surveilling me.
And you know why the government should be surveilling me? So that they can be reminded
of what this country's all about. Yeah. Listen to the podcast government, please.
Try to get a reminder of what the hell it is you're supposed to be protecting rather than
surveilling. Okay. Get down to the border, surveil that. Pay attention to what the hell's coming over
the border. It's the citizenry that will have to go buy some things at Bass Pro Shop in
order to protect themselves, by the way. It's the citizenry that will have to read from their Bible
to become their better selves, to deal with the animals that we're going to have to deal with in
the streets, thanks to your incredibly effective border policies. Tear down that, Mr. Trump, tear down that wall.
That was the great Biden executive order, remember?
Now, I want you to listen to this. This is important. The House Judiciary Committee and
the Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government revealed today, January 17th,
that the federal government instructed financial
institutions banks to monitor and report transactions with keywords like maga trump
bass pro shop dick sporting goods dick sporting goods i've been in a dick sporting goods like 17
times this year buying mouth guards for my kids soccer shoes basketball shoes basketball shorts
and you know what I even bought?
I'll tell you what I even bought.
Don't tell the federal government.
Okay?
Don't tell the federal government.
But I got my hands on some Berkeley Gulp 3-inch minnows.
Okay?
You know the Berkeley Gulp minnow?
It's a very effective fishing lure.
Don't tell the feds.
Losers.
Okay, but anyway, about a month ago I said, you know,
it's worth seeking out the heroes and thanking them
and patting them on the back and telling them,
thank you for doing a good job, because largely it's silent, I'm sure.
The House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Federal Government
deserves an email. This is a one threat, one solution thing, okay? They deserve an email.
You should send these guys an email, either your representative who's involved or a representative who's involved.
Last night I had a dream I was a representative. Very weird. Very, very weird. I was talking to
my mother on the phone. I said, I don't know. It seems like the only solution anymore is to
get involved in politics. I don't want to do it, but it doesn't matter what I want to do at this
point, right? I had a dream.
I had a dream that I was talking to somebody,
the audience, I think it was,
and I was saying, you know,
when these things come up to vote now,
I finally have a say.
It was really weird.
But anyway, these guys over at the
Weaponization of the Federal Government subcommittee,
I mean, who else is doing the the work who else is doing good work like
this in our government it's worth getting to know them it's worth reaching out i don't know who
makes up the subcommittee i don't have the information okay um but it's important it's
important that you reach out to these guys and say thank you because your government is how much
money they waste in searching maga trump bass pro Bass, Pro Shop, Dick's, sporting goods, right?
As part of a broad investigation to provide federal agencies the receipt of information about American citizens
without legal process and its engagement with the private sector.
Terrible.
They're looking for, they're trying to detect lone actor slash homegrown violent extremism.
Don't you assholes understand that you're importing that from the southern border?
You don't have to.
All you got to do is scan the people that are coming across the border.
They also advised banks to report back on transactions that included the possible
purchases of Bibles or other religious texts indicating they could be related to extremism.
Listen, don't tell my wife, but I bought her an extremist hoodie yesterday, okay, for Valentine's.
She doesn't listen to this, so I don't have to worry about her finding out.
But I bought her a really cool extremist, a custom extremist hoodie, okay? Now, what makes
it an extremist hoodie? Well, I put Ecclesiastes 9-9 on the sleeve, okay? Live life with the wife
whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity. So, you know.
Strike two, Mr. Walton. Strike two.
I think we have a potential lone actor,
homegrown violent extremism with children playing soccer and basketball
and buying Valentine's gifts with Bible verses on them for his wife.
Kick the door in. Shoot the pit bulls.
Let's get this thing going.
All right. Having fun yet. Let's get this thing going. All right.
Having fun yet?
Let's move on.
Let's move on to the last two, okay?
The last two has become the name for the SHTF Chef and Words.
Words is coming from yours truly today.
We're reading from one of my books.
Just a quick stanza.
But I want to talk to you guys about stock.
I want to talk to you about stock on the SHTF today.
The SHTF Chef.
I think we need a soundbite for this, don't we?
Maybe words, not so much, but we need something for the SHTF Chef.
Maybe I'll get a good soundbite together for a quote from like Antoine Carême, the great French chef back in the days
of the charcoal-filled cabinets that they used to cook the food. And Antoine Carême was such
an inspiration to me growing up. But he had a great quote, and the quote was, The charcoal kills us all.
Oh well.
The shorter the life, the greater the glory.
I always loved that.
I wrote that into a song, actually, when I was still in the garage band days.
Awesome.
But I want to talk stock today, and I want to do it relatively quickly
because this show is going on early, and I've got to wake the children up for school here in a minute.
It's also paramount in taking full advantage of any animal that you have purchased, any creature that you have raised, any animal that you have killed in the wild, right?
You are not to just cut off the most wonderful and tender bits, cook them, and then waste the rest of the animal, right? What can be done and what most people don't do,
particularly with things like whole chickens,
when they buy a whole chicken, we'll use that as an example.
You buy a whole chicken, you can break that chicken down
and make a couple meals out of it.
Or you can roast the whole chicken and enjoy it.
And what you're going to be left with is a carcass of
bones, you know, and you don't even, I mean, you can take the carcass of bones that you've picked
over, put it into a stock pot, cover it with cold water, bring it to a boil slowly, you know, add
carrots, onions, garlic, fresh herbs at the end, and have a really nice stock, right?
This should simmer about four to six hours, something along those lines.
I'd say closer to four for just one whole chicken.
The better way to do it, though, is to take the bones and the carcass of that chicken,
put it back in the oven at 400 degrees,
roast the chicken until it's nice
and until the bones themselves are starting to brown.
Everything has gotten roasty and smelly.
Roast it on the same pan you cooked it on
because all that juice and all that fat
and all that stuff and all that flavor,
you're going to put that in your stock too.
This roasted bone and roasted leftovers of meat flavor and scent is going to perfume that stock.
It's going to make that stock delicious.
And this is important.
This is a very important piece of the puzzle.
Stock is easy. Stock is a very easy thing of the puzzle. Stock is easy.
Stock is a very easy thing to make.
It can be frozen.
It can be used for a myriad of things.
If you have dogs, right?
Like if you have dogs that you're going to care for in SHTF or even today,
what I do with homemade stock more than anything is I throw rice into it, cook it, and then I mash up
chicken livers into that and feed my dogs off of it for, you know, a week or two. It's a great dog
food base, right? You take a really nutritious chicken stock, you cook rice in it, and then you
cook the livers in that mix, smash it all up together, the dogs go bananas.
Stock is the base of all sauces, the base of all soups,
and it's a powerful thing. It's a great way to avoid wasting bones of animals.
I did the very same process I just detailed to you with the last pig that I brought home.
You know, the last pig that I brought home, I did the very same process I just detailed to you with the last pig that I brought home. You know, the last pig that I brought home, I did the exact same thing.
I took shoulder blades.
I took rib bones, roasted them into the stock pot.
Carrots, onions, celery, garlic, rosemary, right?
Finished it with fresh thyme.
And then that delicious pork stock became the base for some uh high level dog food
fresh food you know they charge you like 60 a tube or whatever you can do it for way cheaper at home
all right so get to know your stock use your stock freeze, can your stock, whatever you do. It's also really good for you, man.
Words for today is coming out of my latest book published in 2022 entitled Darker Trails.
Darker Trails is a collection of stories and poems and prose, charcoal drawings, all about survival, apocalypse, and potential
future issues.
Now, the poem I'm going to read from I wrote, geez, almost 10 years ago now, 2015, when
my son was in the womb.
6.40, i better get rolling it's called i am the road ancient and worn with different colored masks they come i am the road of dav's star, the road built by Pharaoh, the road of the Armenians. I'm going to jump to
the end. It's a short poem. From the streets and the campuses, they approach me again,
desperation burning like fire in their eyes, blinding them, changing them, numbing them,
as history again becomes a stranger.
Their first steps come with rage and protest.
Their next step will carve out the villain, a villain who cannot speak, whose words have been outlawed.
I welcome a traveler in shackles of silence.
I am the road that leads to the end.
Warn them all I am traveled again.
I, uh, you know, it's not, it's a good poem.
The words are not, the thought process is not brilliant if you know history.
And you can see what's happening in the world.
I could see what was happening in the world 10 years ago until exactly where we were headed.
Now, when I said I am the road that—what is it? The road to David Starr or whatever?
I didn't know we were going to see anti-Semitism pop up so blatantly on the campuses.
But history, what do they always say? People have all these weird things, right? but history people say
people have all these weird things right
history doesn't repeat itself but it often rhymes
no it repeats itself
it certainly repeats itself
I mean here we are
in the wild
20s once again
on the verge
of falling into World War I
a meaningless silly war that could have been avoided.
I mean, you know, you tell me.
All right, PBN family, thank you so much.
It has been PBN Daily News.
We are your path back to stability.
