You're listening to P.B.N.
You're playing back the stability. Welcome into PBN Daily News, folks.
I hope everyone is having an astounding morning.
It's Friday. Everybody loves Friday, right?
It's Friday. It is March 1st. We are just a couple hours away from me sending out
this month's preparedness routine. This month, March, all green, decked out, back to life is
the title. The title of March's routine. We're now three routines in, guys. Remember, it sounded lofty even to me that we're going to do routines all year long for preparedness.
This is the thing this year, you know?
February was available to everybody.
The back-to-life routine is going to go out to members only.
I don't know how you feel about that.
Listen, it's not, I mean, to have these routines is worth becoming a member today.
Go to pbnfamily.com, start your membership.
Start your membership and on top of, you know, playing along with us in the back to life routine,
which consists of days A and days B, just like we did for the last two,
and a collection of great stuff.
I will tell you that one of the big focuses this
month is on comms. Okay. So this is a comms heavy routine. And there are two things in particular
that, I mean, one of them I need to do. That's the big secret to this routine stuff. You guys
can try to pick it out, but there are at least two things every time I make a routine that are literally me going, dude, you need to do more of this.
I'll give you a peek into one such item on the March routine.
And that is commander yoga.
I know.
Some of you out there are like, poo-poo, yoga.
Look, man, I don't know what to tell you.
You know, I'm 38 now.
I've been lifting weights for 20 years, running, you know,
hitting punching bags that you really probably shouldn't even be hitting,
hitting them bare knuckle.
All I can tell you from all that stuff, I've run a marathon.
I've done a lot of crazy stuff.
All I can tell you is I don't get injured.
And I think the reason I don't get injured is because I'm pliable.
I'm pliable, man.
I'm pliable and I take good care of myself from a nutrient standpoint, right?
And I think a lot of that pliability has to do with yoga. It really, honestly. And I think the
older you get, the more you want to remain pliable. You know, I see people seizing up in my
life. I watch people seize, you know what I mean? And they go from being a regular human who could do regular human movements to all of a sudden like, oh, you can't sit down with your legs crossed anymore?
What happened?
These are not things like getting down, getting up off the ground.
It's one of the big signs of how you are aging, like how you can lay down on the ground or sit down on the ground and then return to standing.
Like, how can you do that?
Can you do that effectively or no?
But I haven't been doing yoga as faithfully as I should be.
So I slipped that into day A.
That's one of the day A activities.
Okay.
Get on board, folks, especially if you're one of these people that's like,
I got to get, I got to get moving. I'm nervous. Things are crazy. Things are wild. I'm there.
I got to get moving. Right. Go to pbnfamily.com. Become a member this weekend. 60 bucks for the
annual, for the annual. You get shows, videos, podcasts, courses.
You get all kinds of spreadsheets on food quantities necessary,
five-gallon bucket calorie counts.
You get all kinds of stuff, man.
Whenever we do, I'm not going to go into it.
I don't want to waste the whole show on it.
I'm not here to do a commercial for it.
But those of you who are members, this is going to come to you through our membership email.
If you're a member, you're going to get it.
More importantly, do it.
When we do these things, do them.
You know, we'll probably be back maybe in April or June with a whole network-wide routine for the month.
Do it.
Don't be silly, man.
You know, I do them.
Don't be silly.
All right, we've got more dry fire practice this month.
Get your iTarget Pro.
Go to iTargetPro.com.
Use the promo code PREPPER.
If you want to get good with your handgun, get the iTarget Pro.
You'll touch it more than you've ever touched it before.
You'll dry fire it more than you've ever dry fired it before.
I promise you.
I mean, it's just how it works.
So I posted a poll up on Twitter.
In 2018, I told you guys I thought prepping was going to have a much bigger role
in the future of humanity than anybody had thought. And now I'm starting to see,
I'm starting to see like the real black and white of it. You know what I mean? I'm starting to see
the real fingerprints of preparedness on the people's lives who are happy and the lack
thereof on the people's who are unhappy. I'd like to know, and the poll that I put up is,
are you more anxious from prepping or are you more fulfilled from prepping? Are you more
confident from prepping or are you more hopeless from prepping? Right?
Because there is a certain degree of all that. You can't spend time listening to us and reading the things that you read about as a prepper and be like, everything's coming up roses.
However, the state of affairs in this country is such that, and probably around the world too,
affairs in this country is such that, and probably around the world too, people are terrorized and terrified by the future.
And I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they have no plan.
Or maybe they have a plan, but it's a plan that doesn't affect the big things in the
future, right?
Most people's plan is get the education, get the job, get the car, get the house, and then
I'm good, man. You
know, whatever happens next happens. Get as rich as I can. Get all the money that I can have because
money is like a, you know, you can stack it and use it as cover in a gunfight. No. They don't
have the right plan. You have the right plan. You might be executing the right plan. You know what I mean? Like one of the
most, I don't know. There's a lot of things when I work and I look out into my backyard while I
work and this time of year and all times a year, it's this little ecosystem of survival out there.
I don't even know if people see it. I don't know if people can see the creek and see the coop and see the raspberry canes
and see the garden beds and see the punching bag and look at all of that together. Oh, and see the
solar panels and look at all that together and say, this is a little survival hub here. Like,
I don't know if they see the world that way. It takes time being a prepper to see the world that
way. I was on the show last night with the Matter of
Facts guys in Jordan from Phoenix Survival here on the Prepper Broadcasting Network. It was a fun
show, man. But those guys are so much fun. You know, Jordan is so much fun. So no brainer. But
I was on that show last night talking about how long it takes for you to really see the world through a prepper's eyes.
And I've been at it now for, you know, over a decade. And what I'm starting to see is the path
to, you know, happiness, path to fulfillment, the path to the life that people are looking for. I
really do believe that if you're a prepper and you're living the self-reliant lifestyle to the degree that you can, right?
Sam Biggers, for those of you who don't know who Sam Biggers is, she lives in the mountains of North Carolina.
She's a writer in the prepping world.
She's one of the coolest girls in the world.
And she told Jordan on an interview here at PBN probably maybe 10 years ago, and she has pigs and grape vineyards and all kinds of stuff up there on the mountain.
And she told her basically there's no 100% self-sufficiency, so don't get wrapped around the axles about that.
So don't get wrapped around the axles about that, you know?
But there's a degree to which you can pursue self-sufficiency and achieve levels of self-sufficiency, right?
Like you get a chicken coop with six chickens in your backyard,
and you're self-sufficient fundamentally on eggs.
You'll probably never buy eggs again unless all your girls stop laying for some reason, right? Or they all die. You know,
it's achievable. But all the things that go into what I was just talking about,
the physical fitness, the betterment of your life, the betterment of your diet,
the growing of more food, the understanding of the skills necessary to survive when there is
very little inputs coming from the outside world. All of these skills culminate, man, to make you
an absolute adamantium shield against depression, specifically the type of depression that is foisting people,
that has been foisted upon people in the here and now. The type of depression that is pushing
people onto SSRIs, pushing people into fentanyl, pushing people into meth, right? Pushing people
into depression, pushing people into suicide. They don't know what they're looking for. I said,
you know, I do consultation for some people and I always am surprised that They don't know what they're looking for. I said, you know,
I do consultation for some people, and I always am surprised that they don't know what they don't
know. And I've come to, you know, understand that now. They don't know what they don't know.
It's not knocking them. It's just the reality. They don't know what they don't know.
So you have to be aware of that. When you're looking at a person, you have to be able to
say to yourself, like, people are crying out for purpose.
People are crying out for solutions.
People are crying out for safety and stability.
That's why I started calling PBN Daily News Your Path Back to Stability,
because I could see that the world was going to hunger for stability very soon.
I think we're at the beginning of the hunger, and I think we'll get much more hungry.
But stability is going to be a word that people are going to, you know, wish for and hope for.
I'm going to say, I remember growing up in my parents' house in the early 2000s, and things were stable, right? It was like I was safe and the government wasn't a monster and, you know,
the world wasn't at war and the nation wasn't filled with terrorists.
And it's all coming to fruition.
And as far as I can tell, you know, you have to get stronger in order to deal with all of that.
A lot of guys are moving towards
You gotta get stronger through
You know, like
What do they call it?
Red pill?
Or something like that
What do they call it?
Who's the guy?
I forgot his name already
Who's the guy?
Jesus
He's supposed to be the most popular man
In the whole entire world
Or something like that
Kickboxer Kickboxer
Kickboxer, Bugatti
Bald head, Muslim now
They sent him off to prison
He found Allah
You know who I'm talking about, right?
I can't think of his name
You know who I'm talking about
A lot of people A lot of men are finding power that. You know who I'm talking about.
A lot of people, a lot of men are finding power that way.
You know, they're saying like, oh, that's the way.
That's the way we go through.
We dumb things down.
We get harder.
We get stronger.
We make more money.
And, you know, that's what it takes.
It takes a lot more than that.
I'm sure that stuff helps, but it takes a lot more than that. I'm sure that stuff helps, but it takes a lot more than that.
I live the lifestyle of that.
I was listening to Chris Williamson the other day, and he was talking about this Mexican parable about a fisherman who,
I'll give you the abridged version,
but it's a fisherman who wakes up in the morning early, goes out, does a bit of fishing in the ocean, ged version, but it's a fisherman who, you know, wakes up in the morning early, goes out,
does a bit of fishing in the ocean, comes back, catches enough fish for his family and his
friends and, you know, shrimp and crustaceans and all that kind of stuff. They eat a bunch,
let me bring it up, let me bring, it's worth it. It's worth talking about. Mexican fisherman proverb story. Yeah, let's go with the parable of the Mexican fisherman. Because it's an interesting one, man. And I think a lot of people are rushing into this exactly this way. And it's just out of not understanding the game, I think.
And it's just, you know, it's just out of not understanding the game, I think.
An American investment banker was at the pier of a small coastal Mexican village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked.
Inside the small boat were several large yellowfin tuna.
The American complimented the Mexican on the quality of his fish
and asked how long it took to catch them.
The Mexican replied, only a little while.
The American then asked, why didn't he stay out longer to catch more fish?
The Mexican said he had enough to support his family's immediate needs.
And the American asked, but what do you do with the rest of your time?
And the Mexican fisherman said, I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children,
take siestas with my wife, Maria,
and stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my amigos.
I have a full and busy life.
The American scoffed.
I have an MBA from Harvard and can help you, he said.
You should spend more time fishing.
And with the proceeds, buy a bigger boat.
With the proceeds from the bigger boat, you could buy several boats.
And eventually you would have a fleet of fishing boats.
Instead of selling your catch to a middleman, you could sell directly to the processor.
Eventually opening up your own cannery.
You could control the product, processing, and distribution, he said.
Of course, you would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Mexico City, then L.A., and eventually to New York City, where you'll run your expanding
enterprise. The Mexican fisherman asked, but how long will this all take? To which the American
replied, oh, 15 to 20 years or so. But what then? asked the Mexican. The American laughed and said,
that's the best part.
When the time was right, you would announce an IPO and sell your company's stock to the public, become very rich.
You'd make millions.
It meant millions, the Mexican said.
Then what?
The American said, then you could retire, move to a small coastal fishing village where you could sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, take siestas with your wife,
and stroll to the village in the evenings where you could sip wine and play guitar with your amigos.
I love that.
How many people have passed up the opportunity to live their life,
live the life they want to live,
to live the life that other people want them to live?
Live the life they want to live to live the life that other people want them to live.
The simplicity of my life, man, has taught me.
And I don't think you have to shun all hard endeavors or all capitalistic expansion and so on and so forth.
It's for some people.
It's not for others. I guess my one caution would be one of the things in that list of enjoyable things the fisherman does every single day is play with his kids.
And in 10 to 15 years, he won't be able to play with his kids.
That will be taken off the list no matter how many millions he has.
And that's as true as anything, PBN family.
If you're a parent out there, and I think the whole world needs to move in this direction
if we wish to create a better world, and that is you've got to understand the decade.
the decade. You know, the power of the first decade is the priority of the first decade.
The first decade of your child's life should be an independent chapter all itself, where there are no holds barred, where there is nothing too crazy, no idea too crazy No idea too crazy No living circumstance too crazy
Nothing takes priority
Over the first decade of your kid's life
Because that
It comes and goes so fast
I have a 12 year old now
It comes and goes so fast
And it's the most impactful time You're ever going to have with your kids, period.
And the idea that you'd trade that to make money or you'd trade that to, I don't know.
There's nothing to trade that for, in my opinion.
And I know that sours some people out there listening because they
didn't make that decision or they can't, they think they can't make that decision. Like I said,
you have to be radical with the first 10 years of your kid's life, I think.
I took an absolutely terrifying risk, guys, and it didn't work out all the time.
risk, guys. And it didn't work out all the time. Month to month, it didn't always work out.
But I took an insane risk because my son was four, my new son was just born,
and it occurred to me that, you know, I'm in the decade. I'm in the most fundamental and crucial decade, or one of them, of my entire life.
And I want to be here.
And that can be lost on that hustle crowd, which is why I brought it up, right?
That can be lost on the old hustle crowd.
This is turning into a full podcast here.
I got to shut my mouth because we've got more to cover, PBN family. We're 20 minutes in here.
One threat, one solution. Let's get into it. It's a
dark day. I didn't even hear about this story, but for our friends from the Gray Man Brief.
In Montgomery, Alabama, on February 24th, an explosive device was detonated outside of the Alabama Attorney General's office.
The AG, a Republican, advised, quote, no staff or personnel were injured by the explosion due to the early hours of the detonation debrief
the improvised explosive device was detonated less than a week after the alabama supreme court
issued a ruling that live human embryos are human lives under state law which was created
which has created concerns that the destruction of embryos created in
vitro fertilization could lead to civil liabilities.
Yeah.
This stuff, where's this story at?
This is national news.
This is a national headline story.
I didn't even read about it until this morning when I was looking for what I wanted to talk about.
Imagine it were the other way. See, the two-tier justice system, all this stuff is reaching a
fever pitch. The good news is I think Americans are seeing it. But imagine if the story read where you read in Boulder, Colorado, a Democrat attorney general's office had an explosion.
An explosive device was detonated outside of it just a week after they took Donald Trump
off the ballot.
Like, what?
How do you think that would go?
So what does that mean?
That means, you know, in the sense of one threat, one solution, what does that mean? That means, you know, in the sense of one threat, one solution, what does that mean?
That means that there will be, until the justice system gets wrenched back into place, moves like these will happen more and more often.
You need to be situationally aware.
These will happen more and more often.
You need to be situationally aware.
And they will increase in large part due to the amount of times people get away with them.
And if headlines aren't made, right? In other words, if you want law and order, then the headline has to be radicals, at the very least radicals,
explode improvised device outside of Republican AG attorney office in Alabama.
And then you need a follow-up story to save the mental health of the nation that goes something like this.
Alabama Attorney General's Office bomber arrested and imprisoned. that lets people take a collective side oh justice okay he's not wandering around somewhere and blow up my kid's school
do you know what i mean like why remember when things used to be so crazy like remember the
dc sniper and those kinds of things where there would be manhunts?
You can blow up.
You can detonate an explosive device outside of the Alabama Attorney General's office.
And we don't turn that into a nationwide manhunt or some kind of a manhunt for this loser.
All I can say is you definitely have to be focused on the world around you.
You have to understand where you're at in this world and in this time. You have to understand where you're at in this world
And in this time
You have to understand the threats
You have to understand the political climates in your area
It's all sort of area study-esque
You know, the intelligence of your area
But it is what it is, you know
What can you say?
We're going to get
We're going to roll into the SHTF Chef now and discuss a very common recipe here at Casa Liberty.
You are the Prepper Broadcasting Network.
On your path, act as stability.
All right, PBN Family, SHTF Chef.
We're going to make these last sections brief here.
One of the side dishes that I make at home all the time, easy, simple.
God, it's so simple and so tasty. It's cilantro lime rice, right? It's just white rice, cilantro lime, salt, olive oil. You cook the rice. And as
preppers, you should write this down because any different way you can learn to cook rice,
you should learn to cook it, right? But this is a really easy one if you have access to limes and cilantro. If not,
you know, you might have to get creative. I have often considered stockpiling some dried lime rind
because that's easy. You know, that's an easy thing to put up now while there are limes everywhere.
Anyhow, cook your rice. Wash your rice. You wash your rice right before you cook it.
Measure it out.
Rinse it into the pot.
Two to one.
Long grain rice to water.
And from there, you just cook your rice like regular.
Everybody knows how to cook rice, right?
Slow simmer until the water cooks off. It begins to look stodgy like
oatmeal or, you know, thickened. All the water is not completely out of the rice yet, right? There's
still some liquid in there because that liquid is going to be what the rice absorbs and what
steams the rice. Then you turn the stove down as low as it will go, okay?
Oh, I'm sorry.
I missed a couple steps.
Sorry.
Rice and water into the pan.
Generous amounts of olive oil into the rice and water mixture in the pan or pot.
Then generous amounts of salt into the pot.
Stir that up.
Then put it on the heat.
That's the way that I roll, okay?
Stirring rice is a tricky thing.
Not a lot of people like to do it, but, you know.
Again, cook to the stodgy point on the lowest setting.
Lid on.
Let the rice steam until it's tender.
Now, to turn it into the cilantro lime rice, what I do is, you know, cut a lime up into halves or quarters lengthwise because they're easier to squeeze and juice.
I'll pull the rice off when it's pretty much done.
It can be done.
You know what I mean?
You don't have to cook it anymore after this.
We're just flavoring now.
I'll add a little more olive oil to help the grains separate.
I'll add some salt, some more salt after I taste it if it needs it.
grains separate. I'll add some salt, some more salt after I taste it if it needs it.
Then I'll add, you know, a good palm full of cilantro for, let's say, a cup of uncooked rice,
that much rice, right? Like a good hefty palm full of cilantro, boom, goes in. The juice of a lime,
boom, boom, there's no seeds in lime, so you can juice it right over top the rice.
And then gently with a fork, I'll stir that mixture around.
A lot of times after I stir it, I'll let it sit there and steam for a moment.
And then you're good to go. You're ready to serve. And if you have, you know, like good grilled steak or good grilled chicken or pork or something like that, even grilled fish,
and you take that good charred up meat and you slap it on top of your cilantro lime rice.
I mean, it's just heavenly.
Heavenly PBN family.
All right, I was going to read Rugby Chapel to you guys, but I'm 30 minutes in today.
