and brought it right to your face, you know, but links down below. Check it out. Time's running out. It's time for One Threat, One Solution. Folks, I'm going to tell you a story. It's 2019. There are mysterious flus in China, mysterious pneumonias in China. The Democrats are trying to steal the guns from the Virginians once again. And we are looking out onto the world and wondering what will come of it all. But now, just four years later, it's a repeat in history. The WHO is reporting a strange new pneumonia in China that's affecting children this time. Respiratory illness, probably going to wind up here. We'll have to monitor it and see what's going on with that.

But more pressing right now is this gray man brief. Democrats in Virginia's General Assembly have pre-filed dual bans, dual bills to ban most semi-automatic rifles, pistol, shotguns, as well as magazines holding 10-plus rounds. Now, we've been here before. We've been here four years ago. And I think it's time we respond once again with a massive protest at the Capitol in Richmond. HB2 and SB2 outlaw the purchase, possession, sale, or transfer of what the bill defines as an assault firearm, described as a semi-automatic centerfire rifle or pistol that holds a fixed magazine capacity in excess I will tell you this Few things are as much fun As Democrat filed firearms legislation

See Back in 2019 I was petrified of this Um Now it's kind of fun And funny It could I mean it could become a problem Don't get me wrong I'd much rather like to see the nation rally against this once again

and bring about 40,000 people to Richmond, Virginia to surround the Capitol like we did last time and peacefully protest and sing the national anthem and God bless America and carry sniper rifles and Kevlar helmets because it was a good time, man. It was freezing. Because it was a good time, man. It was freezing, but it was a good time. And, you know, the bill never took hold here in Virginia, thanks to that and some other efforts.

But to listen to these guys write up their legislation, well, it's meme fodder, and I hope Phil Rabelais is paying attention. I'll have to send this to him, because I'm sure he will kick the memes into high gear. Or a detachable magazine that has any one of the following. Now, this is what I don't understand. Oh, I'm sorry.

A semi-automatic center file rifle or pistol that holds a fixed magazine capacity in excess of 10 rounds or a detachable magazine that has any of one of the following. Adjustable stock. Come on. Pistol grip, hand grip. It also bans semi-automatic shotguns if they have a detachable magazine or a fixed magazine that holds more than 7 rounds, or an adjustable stock or a pistol grip.

This is where it starts to get fun. The bill also bans the sale of standard capacity magazines, which the bill defines as large capacity. In other words, magazines being capable of holding 10 or more rounds are going to be, under this stupid law, are going to become, this is a California law, are going to become large capacity, you know. In other words, every semi-automatic handgun that I own, aside from one, has a large capacity magazine. In their terms.

Not in my terms. Now here's the kicker. Unless those are.22s. So you can have a 30-round magazine if it holds.22s. Because you see, Democrats think that. 22 rounds don't kill people can't kill anybody with a 22 i guess you could see to see what i mean this is i mean it's it's annoying and it's going to be a problem but hey at least it's fun the bills will be offered for decision on january 10 2024 i hope that the uh supreme court here excuse me here is smart enough to say this is egregious Second Amendment in fraction.

But you never know. We'll have to watch it climb the ranks. And I do think that our solution for this one threat is just what I said. It's time to rally in the Capitol again and make a nationwide stir over the Second Amendment. If hundreds of thousands of people can rally with headscarves on over, you know, the slaughter of all Jews and the elimination of Israel in the streets of the United States, then I think it's time that the Second Amendment crowd come out and say, hey, we're here to fight for our Constitution. We're here to stand for our Constitution peaceably.

And, you know, throw this bill in the trash where it belongs. How's that? Not too bad. Rolling into the holiday season, folks, where the SHTF chef has something simple but important for you. I want to introduce you to the dry cure, the basic dry cure with granulated sugar. I'm a big fan of basic cures. What do I mean by basic cures? I mean a salt, pink salt, and sugar mixture that can be rubbed on the meat to dry it, cure it, extend the life.

It's very important to me. I keep a lot of pink salt, and I also keep the mixture in Ziploc bags in the spice cabinet. So that if I wind up with some pork belly, for instance, I can put this cure on it in a week's time. I can smoke it and have bacon. But it works for all kinds of things. You can cure all kinds of different meats using this method. And again, you're extending the lifespan. A basic cure can add salt. I mean, basic cure can add flavor. It can change the texture of meats. Maybe we'll just talk about it in the context of the bacon, right?

Because that's one that's easy and people should know how to do. You should know how to make bacon. If you come into a whole pig or if you order a whole pig or if you wind up seeing pork bellies on sale, which they are outrageous now, but if you see them on sale, you should know what to do with them, right? One pound salt. Okay. One pound of salt. One cup of sugar. Eight teaspoons of pink salt. And you're going to wind up with a basic dry cure. That can be stored freaking forever. You're going to rub both sides of the meat down with that and put it in the fridge and give it a week uncovered. You could flip it from time to time if you want. Then

you're going to take the meat off and rinse it. You can eat the bacon. You might have to cut the skin off. It depends on how you get your pork belly. But you can eat that bacon right off the bat. Just like that. Or you can smoke it, cold smoke it. And this is basics, guys. You know, basic curing is something as a prepper that you should understand. I mean, it's ancient technology.

Ancient use of salt, okay? That's what I have to offer you today on the SHTF Chef. The basic cure as you go into the holiday. Cure up something nice, you know what I mean? Now, for words, we're going to be reading from Sun Tzu again. We're going to be doing our Sun Tzu thing again. And I've got number 17 here from Attack by Stratagem. And there are five installments here. Thus, we may know that there are five essentials for victory. Now, these things are applicable to all of life, all of business, warfare, SHTF, tomorrow, yesterday, whatever,

you know what I mean? Number one, he will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight. Such an important concept. He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight. Number two, he will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces. This is like prep or defense 101, right? Number three, he will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout all its ranks. Number four, he will win who prepared himself. You hear that? He will win who prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared. He will win who has military
