Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to PBN. Your path back to stability. Good Monday morning, PBN family. Hope you had a great Fourth of July weekend. We will be getting into Reddit Q&A this evening on Preppers Live with Dave Jones, the NBC guy, so don't miss that. They're always massively informative from the preparedness standpoint. We never really know what we're getting into, but we just happen over to the Reddit Preppers page, and fundamentally that's a page full of questions.
Starting point is 00:00:57 If you have your own questions, feel free to submit them through Element, something like that. Reach out through our contact form, whatever, but we'll be in a question and answer sort of programming tonight on Prepper Broadcasting Network. What else? What else? That was a big one. Oh, I want to talk about the Saudi stomp before we get into Hurricane Burl. So let me bring this up because I want to get the word for word right. I'm calling it the Saudi Stomp because, I don't know, I think it's a pretty ballsy move by the Houthis.
Starting point is 00:01:38 The Houthis got a few cruise missiles under their belt, and it seems like they think they're something they're not. This is my estimation, okay? Quote, we will bomb Saudi airports, banks, and ports. The Houthis reveal a list of potential targets and details. This comes with a stern warning to Saudi Arabia after the latter moved banks from the Yemeni capital. Furious Houthi leader revealed potential targets within Saudi Arabia after alleging the Saudis' actions are aimed at starving and economically harming the Yemeni people. So, you know, long story short, the Houthis are trying to flex.
Starting point is 00:02:26 They basically tell a nation with a serious military, don't ally with the West or we'll bomb your airports, banks, and ports. Now, the reason I call this the Saudi stomp is because, you know, okay, let's see it. Let's see it. You know the guy with the red and white checkered hat? Twelve days ago, there was a headline, Saudi defense chief in China in bid for help with Houthis and to boost military ties. They got problems.
Starting point is 00:03:08 This is a thing. This has been a thing between Saudi Arabia and them, and I think they should use this to their advantage. If I were Saudi Arabia, I'd be saying, you know, I remember Donald Trump sold us some really nice jets when he was in office. And we've yet to really put those to use. It's crazy. Can you imagine? It's a crazy thing for one group to say to an entire nation, one terrorist pissant group like the Houthis to say to a serious, well-armed nation, we'll bomb your airports, your banks, and your ports.
Starting point is 00:03:52 I am so excited to see what happens. I mean, you know, death sucks. But what are we living in? You know, what kind of an age are we living in? Because more and more, like if the Saudi Arabians do nothing about that, it just feels like we are living through an age of bullied. Bullied, bullied, bullied.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Right? The West has been bullied into submission by radical Muslims. The West has been bullied into submission by radical leftists. The socialist leftists took over Europe. They won in France. They won in the UK. Bullied. Remember, listen, last week the French were in the streets going crazy because the right, the radical right wing was going to take over, remember?
Starting point is 00:04:39 And then two landslide wins on the left. What happened? What happened? The only thing I can think is people were bullied into submission. They're scared. So now we move to the Saudis. What are they going to do? Are they going to be bullied into submission too by the Houthis? Will they be bullied into submission as well? We will bomb your airports, banks, and ports. They have a list, a running list here. Ansar Allah, Chief Abdul Malik Al-Houthi. Please, Saudi Arabia, use them jets. Do me a favor, use them jets. Do me a favor.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Use them jets. Okay? Let's talk Hurricane Burl. All right, folks. I mean, we've been watching it all weekend. We know the deal. We're looking at landfall 10 p.m. Sunday by 7 p.m. Monday. Burrell should be working its way through Texas. We can get a better timeline for you.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Can we get back to naming hurricanes normal stuff too, by the way? Hurricane Burrell strengthens, makes landfall along Texas coast. Live updates. Texas school closures. Yeah, so it's working its way inland. We're worried about the storm surge and such. So, you know, it's pretty straightforward. Everybody knows this big hurricane.
Starting point is 00:06:31 It's going to work its way up through the eastern side of Texas to some degrees, eastern central. People will be affected, 80-mile-an-hour winds. It's a Category 1 storm, so at least we're not dealing with, you know, Category 3 or 4. But it does, you know, bring to bear hurricane readiness, hurricane preparedness. A lot of our nation is on the coasts. A lot of our nation is on the coasts and the gulfs. In August, September time of frame, you will see those tax-free holidays. Those tax-free holidays will kick up. Sometimes they happen in June.
Starting point is 00:07:12 You may have missed one already in your state. But that's the time to get your fortifications, to get your hurricane fortifications. Get what you need. Get the things that you need. And I don't know. Tarps, generators, evacuation plan, batteries, lights, mayday rations, survival food, freeze-dried food, whatever you like, you know? You can get all kinds of stuff, chainsaws, all kinds of great stuff tax-free during the tax-free holidays for hurricane preparedness. So search your state and search tax-free holiday or hurricane preparedness or all of that together and
Starting point is 00:07:59 you'll get a good idea of what you can do, what you can muster. All right? Let's, I do want to do an SHTF Chef. We haven't done one in a while, and I want to do that today. So let's get into it. Looks like there's some turbulence up ahead. It's a good thing you found us. We are the Prepper Broadcasting Network. All right, folks. The corn.
Starting point is 00:08:37 I got corn on my mind. Okay. I got cornmeal. I got masa. I got field corn on the mind. And I want to get it on your mind. You know, I want you to not only think about like a warm, a warm dish of freshly baked jalapeno and honey cornbread, but I also want you to think about polenta. I also want you to think about chilled polenta on the grill. I
Starting point is 00:09:02 want you to think about grits. i want you to think about the many things that can be done with one of the cheapest and most uh god it's it's probably our biggest crop right and so is it america's biggest crop you know our land was always sort of sustained our people all of our people who have lived here native so on um have been sustained by this food you know i mean i know it's under attack a lot of time because it's not healthy and i guess it's been a lot of it genetically modified and all that kind of stuff but let's see what the largest crop in the U.S. is. Corn. Yeah. Figured.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Figured as much. So, you know, use that to your advantage from an SHTF chef standpoint and a food storage standpoint. Know how to store it looks like to me is buying it in bulk, field corn in bulk is incredibly inexpensive. It's insanely inexpensive, right? Buying cornmeal already ground is pretty inexpensive too. You know, five-gallon buckets, pack it up, and you could do all kinds of stuff with it. too. You know, five gallon buckets, pack it up and you could do all kinds of stuff with it. You know, I'll give you a little chef trick the next time you make pizza at home. If you make dough and pizza at home, whatever kind of pizza peel, pizza stone you cook your pie on,
Starting point is 00:10:37 sprinkle the bottom of it pretty heavily with a coarse cornmeal. You'll notice almost all pizza that's worth a damn has some cornmeal on the bottom of it. They do that. It crisps up. It's great. Helps it move around the pan real easy too. So, you know, there's a ton of stuff you can do, not with fresh sweet corn, but with field corn, fresh, sweet corn, but with field corn, dent corn, dried corn meal. All right. Get that into your, get that into your pantry, man. Get it into some five gallon. It's calories. It's good. It's good stuff. It's sustained us when we got here. It sustained the people who were here before Westerners arrived. And I have to believe that it's going to be one of those crops that is around for a very very it's on in everything now that's what everybody always says who hates on corn it's in everything that's my two cents folks fill the pantry with corn
Starting point is 00:11:39 uh fill your coffers with ammunition while you still can go to ammo squared.com slash pbn listen to the interview with dan and i dan morton from ammo squared.com build your ammo 401k he calls it it's pretty interesting way to look at it not the way i look at it but it's an interesting way to look at it i want you to understand what a service ammo squared is i mean truly i want you to understand how customizable and how it can fit into your budget and you can be buying ammo on a month-to-month basis on whatever dollar figure you can afford and yeah if you if you don't have a lot of money to spend on ammo then it's going to take you longer to build up. But at least you'll be building, man. At least you'll be stocking and storing it away. Last September, I think it was,
Starting point is 00:12:33 I started doing a anything is better than nothing sort of concept. And, you know, from a preparedness standpoint, like anything is better than nothing. Anything is better than nothing. $10 a month on anything is better than nothing. Anything is better than nothing. $10 a month on ammo is better than nothing. Right? A flashlight is better than no flashlight. Ammosquared.com slash PBN, folks.
