You're listening to PBN.
You're paying back the stability. What was the most important lesson you learned over the weekend?
There's one takeaway that not just preppers should hold very close to their heart, but all Americans and maybe everyone in the world.
For all the governing bodies, for all the three-letter agencies, for all the regulations
and rules that have been built into governments both nationally and on a worldwide platform,
wide, you know, platform. What was driven home to me over the weekend was the fact that nobody gave any warning whatsoever about what we were facing from the sun.
Nobody in government, nobody in world government, nobody in the United States
government, nobody at FEMA, the NOAA came out with a little something. It's like a little blurb.
Nobody knew about it. Nobody even knew about it until people, getting excited about Northern Lights pictures.
Nobody even knew that there was a massive solar storm en route.
Do you understand what that means?
Maybe you don't.
I think a lot of you do.
I just want you to understand, above all else,
the takeaway from this weekend is that the government is not going to brief you on shit.
They're not going to prepare you for anything.
Okay?
When you think about national security and national preparedness, at least at a personal level, and how it affects you personally, just pretend they don't even exist.
Do you understand?
Maybe not so much national security, maybe more emergency and disaster readiness.
Now, I went on to FEMA.gov just before I started because I was concerned.
I didn't want to come out and say, you know what,
FEMA said nothing. Let's have a look at the FEMA website. You know, first and foremost,
you go to FEMA.gov right now and you get to see Celebrating Asian American. The slide's so fast,
I can't even celebrate it properly. Celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Month.
That's the biggest main slide on the government's website for preparing you for disasters and emergencies.
I don't have a problem with celebrating that.
I have no problem whatsoever.
I have a problem with it being the first thing problem whatsoever i have a problem with it being
the first thing that comes up when i go to fema's website because that lets me know
you're not a disaster preparedness website which you're we fund you to be that that's what your
website's for disaster assistance right emergency management, emergency management, floods and maps.
You got all this stuff up here.
National Hurricane Preparedness is slide two.
Okay.
You see, because diversity, inclusion, and equity are the end of all things.
They take precedence above everything,
particularly your life.
Your life.
Your life and your family's life
are of minimal concern
when diversity,
inequality,
or inclusion and equity are concerned.
That just is what it is.
So in terms of emergency preparedness and early alerts and all that kind of stuff, understand that no one is going to tell you anything.
And if someone does tell you something, if the government does tell you something,
if FEMA breaks something, if somebody tells you something ahead of time, it's a bonus.
You know what I'm saying?
It's bananas.
Now, I could do the ugly owner, CEO, intrepid commander thing and say,
that's why you need to listen to the Prep and Broadcasting Network.
But we're not always on top of it either.
You need multiple news sources.
We were pretty early on with it.
In fact, we were talking about it two days before I talked about it here on PBN,
and that was my fault.
This was a big deal, and this is still a big deal.
This was a very big deal.
When this type of energy comes out of the sun,
anybody who's sitting here telling you they know
exactly what's going to happen is lying.
So in other words, people saying
that it's going to be
total lights out, wrong.
Lying. People that are saying
it shouldn't affect anything,
everything should be fine. Low-level stuff.
They don't know either.
What everybody can wrap their head around is be prepared for disruptions.
That's really all the American people probably needed to hear.
But, see, I think the government trusts us so little now.
Like if we tell them be prepared for disruptions, half the population is going to go panic
by everything
and the other half
is going to get ready to loot.
And they might not be wrong.
They might not be wrong
based on what I see out of people.
But for you,
what I want you to understand is,
you know,
it's been very popular
to say no one's coming
to help you.
That phrase has been popularized and it's 100% true.
But I'll take it one step further.
They're not even going to let you know you need help.
It was a major failure, man.
It was a major failure to have people waking up this morning and being like,
oh, there was a solar storm over there.
Is that what all those pictures were on Facebook? And have no one understand that the magnetic field of the planet is so weak.
I didn't know this until I listened to Sarah Hathaway, but she said,
you're not even supposed to see the color red. If you see the color red, it's a problem, right?
If you see the color red, it's a problem, right?
Like, this is a big deal.
The sky going red is a thing.
I mean, it's biblical, right?
It means some serious stuff is going wrong.
The storm wasn't that strong, according to Sarah.
But the effects on the planet were unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
They saw the northern lights in Puerto Rico, folks.
Do you know what that means?
That is insane.
You don't see the northern lights in Puerto Rico unless it's a big deal.
The only question is, are they not telling us the severity of the damage to the magnetosphere, to the magnetic field, because they're scared?
Are they not telling us about the shifting magnetic north and south
because they're scared?
Is there nothing that can be done about it?
And that's part of the reason.
What's the deal?
Why did we have six solar flares, massive, explode out of the sun,
come hurtling towards Earth, coronal mass ejections, flying at breakneck paces, by the way?
How long would it take?
Let's just see for fun.
How long would it take to get to the sun?
If we were to launch an imaginary spacecraft from Earth
that would travel around 246,000 kilometers an hour, okay? It would take 606 hours or 25 days
for that spacecraft to get here. Now, the sun shot these things out. They were here in four days,
okay? Wrap your head around that. That is a wild PBN family.
Government said no.
They sit around.
I don't know.
What can we pin on?
What can we pin on Donald Trump?
That's what we really need to focus on.
So I want you to understand that.
Above all, the great failure here was no one was alerted.
No one knew what was going on.
I guarantee you a large chunk of the population is waking up today going,
what happened over the weekend?
Something happened?
What was it?
The sun?
I thought it was another eclipse or something going on.
I didn't know.
Nobody even knew.
So imagine if, you know, Saturday morning,
everybody wakes up and there's no internet and no electricity anywhere.
Or let's just say like the West Coast is completely blacked out and no internet and no
communications going in or out, right? Because don't forget, high frequency radio is also affected by
these things. Nothing. Nothing. Amazing. I don't want to do a one threat one solution today i don't really
have i was going to talk about homelessness and stuff like that i don't really have it in me
i don't have it in me i was uh flipping through my phone i saw a comedian get beat up on stage
he got yanked off the stage and beat up. I thought to myself, what is happening?
He got in a little skit, like a little, uh,
a little tiff with some people on the offstage, you know,
and they were talking about, they were just drunk and violent.
There's no security at the club whatsoever, right?
No, I guess no security at the club whatsoever right no i guess no security at the club whatsoever
and uh then from another side a guy he called one of the audience members a snitch and the
guy came up and just yanked him off the stage what's happening out there pbn fam what's happening
out there what's going on how do you go to a comedy show violently how does that work
i'm gonna go to this show beat somebody up
crazy i don't know i don't know i think we i think we uh
in large part are waiting on the next generation at this point. Do you know that? I really do.
I think this generation of people is so pissed,
particularly the young ones, you know, 20s,
are so pissed because they've been the fools.
They've been made the fool of by,
mostly by the left wing, largely.
And they don't know how to deal with it. you know what i mean like largely everything that the left told them and their left-wing lunatic parents
told them growing up has completely fallen apart before their very eyes do Do you know what I mean? It's all falling apart.
They were like, you go to college,
you work hard, you get a degree,
and then you'll make good money and you'll be able to live a life, I guess.
I don't know.
They got out of college, they were like,
there's no jobs, the jobs are not going to make me president the second week I get there, so I don't wanna do it,
I don't know, man,
it's chaos, but I don't think it's chaos just for the sake of chaos, I think it's chaos,
because people were lied to their whole youth, you know, they were lied to their whole youth, you know.
They were lied to their whole youth.
They were pandered to their whole youth.
And then they get boom.
The one thing you cannot help, the one thing you cannot stop is eventually you grow up and life hits you.
Eventually life hits you with all its consequences.
And all of a sudden you're like, oh, I've got to do these things.
If I don't do these things, there's severe consequences.
You know?
Why do you think everybody runs around with masks on?
Hoods up and masks on.
I try to avoid as much consequence from my terrible actions as possible, right?
I've seen Steve Buscemi got punched in the head in New York the other day.
Yeah, you just run around and punch people in New York.
That's it.
You know, you wake up in the morning, oh, another day here in the Big Apple.
What am I going to do?
I'll go to half my classes in college, run around, punch a couple people in the morning. Oh, another day here in the Big Apple. What am I going to do? I'll go to half my
classes in college, run around, punch a couple people in the face, call my boss, tell him I'm
not coming into work. What the hell's going on out there? You know, flip on my phone, see a bunch
of people doing better than me and have no aspirations to do as good as they are or be mad at everyone else
because i'm not doing as good as the people on social media are spend the rest of the night
punching people in the head at random boom schedule made day solved let's do this I think it's time for SHTF Chef, folks.
Now that is a delicious cut of long pork.
I want to talk about a little bit of decadence this morning.
I'm going to have myself a bit of a decadent breakfast. Okay. I'm starving
and I don't think I'm going to eat till after my Instagram post, but I am starving. I've been
starving since like seven o'clock. Not the end of the world. You see, I'm fine. I'm starving,
but not the end of the world at all. In fact, it's only been like 14 hours since I ate last.
It's not really that big a deal.
I'm fine.
I'm good.
I can go work out.
I can go run miles.
This illusion that we have to keep constantly
be shoveling carbohydrates in our mouth to have energy,
it's hilarious.
Really, because I remember when I used to believe that,
and I believed it so hard that it would actually affect me.
There was a time, and a lot of people out there listening are going to,
you're probably in this boat where you say to yourself,
if I don't eat in the morning, then I don't have any energy.
If I don't eat breakfast in the morning, I don't have any energy.
I want to fall back asleep asleep I used to be like that
And then I started intermittent fasting
And it's just like
Your body just gets used to it
Once your body gets used to it
There's days I don't eat until 12 o'clock
Not because I'm like doing, doing something valiant.
I'm just like, I'm good.
I just wait, eat big, eat a big lunch,
and I'll eat a big dinner, and that's it.
Done.
If you're bored, you're eating.
Right?
Isn't that what I see most out of people?
You're bored, you're stuck doing something boring you don't really want to do, you're shoveling food in your mouth. You that what I see most out of people? You're bored.
You're stuck doing something boring you don't really want to do.
You're shoveling food in your mouth.
You know what I mean?
But if you're busy and engaged and doing fun things, doing meaningful things,
food will just, you know, you'll get there.
Some days it's like I mean to eat at 9 every day.
And some days it's like 9, 30, 10 o'clock.
You know what I mean?
But anyway, that ain't happening today.
Today I'm going to try to wrap it all up by 9.
And what I'm going to do is I'm going to make scrambled eggs.
French style scrambled eggs.
What's that mean?
That means I'm going to add.
I'm going to take probably about five or six eggs.
Whisk them up in a bowl. I'm going to add a little bit of to take probably about five or six eggs, whisk them up in a bowl.
I'm going to add a little bit of milk.
Only because I don't have heavy cream.
I'm going to whisk them eggs up pretty well.
You know, give them a good whisk.
Then in a pot, or in a pan rather, I'm going to start butter.
Just butter.
Okay.
Just butter. And I'm going to cut some butter. Now, the key to making the best scrambled eggs is low heat, long time
low heat. You know, you should never be above about a four on your electric stove if you're
making scrambled eggs. Or you're going to have scrambled eggs that are brown or scrambled eggs that are sponge like now uh danielle
don't remember his name anymore danielle huh i gotta look it up. Chef Daniel French.
That's his name.
Was that in Bouloud?
That was in Daniel Bouloud.
Yep, there he is, Daniel.
Daniel Bouloud, French chef, wrote several books.
The one book I lent out, it became one of those lend-out jobs.
You know, you lend a book out, Letters to a Young Chef.
Letters to a Young Chef is a great book.
And in it, in one of the sections, he describes how to make the perfect scrambled eggs.
And to do so, you, you know, low heat, in butter, while the eggs are starting to cook,
in butter while the eggs are starting to cook,
diced butter, little small bits of butter that you put into the scrambled eggs as they're cooking.
You're going to cook the scrambled eggs
until they're about three-quarters finished,
something like that, soupy still, you know?
And understanding heat is everything in cooking.
So what you have to
understand is even though your eggs are three quarters of the way finished and buttery and all
that, take them off the heat. The pan has residual heat. The residual heat from the pan is going to
continue to cook those eggs, right? And it will make them just creamy and perfect, a little salt, a little white pepper.
Then what I'm going to do before I take them out of the pan
is I'm going to drizzle some truffle oil on them,
and then I'm going to put them on my plate.
I'm going to make some toast with more butter,
and then I'll probably take some of my walking onion from the garden
and sprinkle some of that real fine chiffonade of that onion.
Remember we talked chiffonade last week?
And I'm going to sit down.
I'll probably listen to Glenn Beck while I eat my breakfast and maybe even drink some milk because I'm hungry.
And that's my decadence for the day.
That's my decadence for the day.
All right.
Let's get into words.
Is that what we call this segment?
I don't even know.
But we try to end each of these PBN Daily News with a little bit of reading.
Are you guys reading?
Have you read The World of Ready yet?
Do you own The World of Ready?
Amazon.com, The World of Ready, written by yours truly.
A true magical journey for your kids to go on
I'd say up to about the age of 8
Where real preparedness topics can be discussed
You want to break new ground with your kids on preparedness
You want to make kids who are resilient
I'm telling you right now
The World of Ready book series is going to be something on preparedness. You want to make kids who are resilient. I'm telling you right now,
the World of Ready book series is going to be something. We're already beginning the illustrations of the backgrounds for book two. And book two is every kid needs to read book two. I
mean, every kid needs to read book one because it's fundamentally built around making a
go-back and every kid should have a go-back. Book two is going to have a concept in it that really,
it's just basic stuff that kids should know. And that's the whole concept here, guys. The whole
concept behind the world of Ready is a picture book, a colorful, engaging picture book that kids can read. You
know, we need the kids reading, too. The kids have to read. Like, a lot of kids can't read.
I don't want to get into that. Pardon me. So, The World of Ready, please. You guys have been
doing great, spreading the word, posting on social media. I really appreciate it, man.
It goes a long way.
This is going to be a book series.
This is going to be a series of children's books called The World of Ready
with a variety of different topics that it covers, all about preparedness.
Get in now.
Get in the ground floor because you'll be looking back one day, I can assure you, and saying, man, it's book six already?
Because book two will be out.
Two, three months max, book two will be out.
And you'll get to meet two new characters.
Well, you get to meet two new kids,
and you'll get to meet one new great character from the world already.
And this guy's
a hoot really but okay you survivalists will really dig this character let's go with that
but let's get into some words okay i have before me i told you we're going to read a little more
miyamoto musashi we're going to read from the book of five rings a little more regularly
um i got a stack of books here that
i grabbed from when i'm doing one of these shows okay this is from the book of the void in fact
this is the intro to the the book of the void the book of five rings is five scrolls that miyamoto
musashi wrote on strategy and such so So the Book of the Void begins,
people in this world look at things mistakenly and think that they do not understand.
Oh, think that what they do not understand must be the void. This is not the true void.
This is not the true void. It is bewilderment.
In the way of strategy, also, those who study as warriors think that whatever they cannot understand in their craft is the void.
This is not the true void.
To attain the way of strategy as a warrior, you must study fully other martial arts and not deviate even a little from the way of the warrior. With your spirit settled, accumulate practice day by day and hour by hour.
Polish the twofold spirit, heart, and mind,
and sharpen the twofold gaze, perception, and sight.
When your spirit is not in the least clouded,
when the clouds of bewilderment clear away,
there is the true void
Pretty impressive
