In other words, I'm looking at a bag of our coffee, and I'm saying in order for us to be profitable, which is really crazy because we don't have a lot of overhead at disaster coffee. really crazy because we don't have a lot of overhead at disaster coffee in order for us to be profitable we got to price it at 1650 and there was a time when i raised the price from like i think it was 14 to 15 dollars i did this back in 2020 as soon as the pandemic hit i raised prices because i knew i'll just get out in front of it it's going to happen right and i remember raising it from 14 to 15 and being like this is just insane and and horrible that i have to do that and little did i know that was just the beginning of that story so yeah um what else folks oh we got the big turkey

i'm not going to stuff the big turkey no i'm going to brine the big turkey i'm not gonna stuff the big turkey no i'm gonna brine the big turkey um i think i'm gonna have to brine the turkey just to thaw the damn thing i mean i know it's tuesday but you know we only got one more day this thing is enormous i'll take a picture of it and put it up for you guys but uh not gonna stuff her i think i'll I think I'll fill it with oranges and I might fill it with oranges, herbs, and maybe some coconut oil. My wife can't do butter. So typically I just lard everything with butter.

You know what I mean? In the restaurant industry, you got to get a little trickier. I'll probably stuff something like that a compound coconut oil um you know what i mean by that sometimes i say chefy things and i don't know if you know like mince up an onion mince up flat leaf parsley maybe not probably not any garlic fresh thyme sage get your coconut oil in a bowl until it's a little bit soft mix it all together then you can stuff that under the skin you know what i mean you would do it with butter normally right i don't like the

crisco thing you know the hydrogenated oil all that that. So I do it with that. I do use Crisco, but I'm not going to put it on my Thanksgiving turkey. We're keeping it pretty chill in terms of menu. I don't know what you guys are doing. We always do a turkey. We always do a duck. Right. My son and I, we love to eat the duck on Thanksgiving. And I can't tell you the importance of traditions, man.

You know, traditions are just, they're just, they make everything so fun. You know, like I never ate duck at Thanksgiving. My son just did. And he always liked duck, really. I got pictures of him. We cooking duck over a campfire when he was real little and just tearing that thing apart. And it's like, I don't know, man. You know, if you can do a thing and then you can repeat it year over year,

just do it. You know, we had a new one. I forget what it was. I can't remember what it was. We had a new one. The Christmas tradition. We've done so much in the last few days, it's hard to remember. We've gone absolutely insane.

With the Christmas decorating and all that kind of stuff. You know what I mean? That's our family. That's what we do. Oh, one new tradition that we started last year and carried over to this year was the coming soon sign. We. We. Yeah.

What we do is sorry. A message just came through that's had me. Really thinking. We do such a big christmas light show every year but our neighborhood's so beautiful that we would hate to ever bring like a tacky light tour through our neighborhood so we don't tell people it's just for our community you know but we do this big giant light show and then um we did it for years and years and then our neighbors got used to it you know and they sort of were like oh you're doing the lights you're doing the lights

and all that and it's fun i love it and uh so what we did last year is i bought i told my wife let's find a like a coming soon sign that we could put in the yard every year and i so every year you know the second or third week of uh thanks of November, we put the coming soon sign in, wrap it with some lights, put it like a single inflatable up, you know, and. Everybody gets excited and waits for the night, the grand illumination, you know, and that was two nights ago, we did the first big lighting of the house. two nights ago. If you guys are into Christmas decorating and decorations and things like that, that's not something we talk about here at PBN, but it is a big part of what I do every year. And I've gotten really good at it over the years. And it's a blast, man. The kids love it. The little kids come over for Thanksgiving and for Christmas. And now my neighborhood is full of

somehow my name i think it was a lot of death sadly my neighborhood used to be this quiet desolation and beautiful really like we live in a crazy neighborhood i mean it's absolutely crazy our neighborhood doesn't make any sense if i was of person, I'd tell you what we paid for the house when we first bought it, and it just does. It's like, I don't understand it. I don't understand it. But anyway, so we live in this quiet little neighborhood, and it used to be like dead quiet. And it's still the most peaceful place I've ever been and if you can deal with you know a road behind your house which i don't mind i grew up with train tracks behind me so like my wife and i having a road behind our house is no big deal but anyhow um soon young people began to

move into houses like mad couples and those couples were walking dogs you know they started like we started to have a couple's walking dogs all the time and then about a year ago yeah about a year ago ish if i'm gonna lump everyone up into the same thing uh what happened is they started pushing baby carriages and carrying dogs What happened is they started pushing baby carriages and carrying dogs. And now we have this neighborhood that's just full of new life. It's just full of babies. Everywhere, babies, parents, carriages.

And so the reason I'm bringing it up is because the light show now is like, oh, it captivates everybody. Fuck. So anyhow, folks, I'm rambling a little bit. I. Anyhow, folks.
